The Amazing Race Canada (2013–…): Season 7, Episode 1 - Canada Get More Maps - full transcript

Nine new teams join Canada's choice Jet and Dave at the starting line in Toronto.

The Amazing Race Canada
is back,

and it's coming home to race
across our great country!

After close to a quarter
million kilometres,

and five trips
around the globe,

we're ready to start
our next adventure.

From the edge of the CN Tower,

overlooking the city
known as The 6ix,

over a thousand feet below,

nine teams of two are
about to begin a race

that will change
their lives forever.

The nine teams are:

Sarah and Sam, teammates from
Toronto and Calgary, Alberta.

We are
Team Canada athletes.

Ah!

I run
the 400-metre hurdles.

I competed at
the London 2012 Olympics.

I won a silver medal
at the Pan-Am Games.

Three-time
Canadian champion...

I run the 100 metres,
two-time Canadian champion.

In my third year university,

I was named the
fastest man in Canada.

I'm faster.
I'm faster.

We're gonna
thrive under this pressure.

This is what we live for.

We are training
for the 2020 Olympics,

but first... we're gonna
win the Amazing Race Canada.

Nicki and Aisha,
best friends from Toronto...

We've been
friends for 17 years.

We met through basketball.

Alley-oop and dunk!

Mm-hm!

We are here to prove
our friendship can withstand

any terrain,
any challenge, any bug.

Can women move mountains?
No.

Aisha and Nicki move mountains.

Ooh, we
move mountains!

Anthony and James, married
couple from Edmonton, Alberta...

James was featured
in a magazine article about

Indigenous people, so I
reached out to him on a whim.

We connected immediately,

and we got married a year later.

I just assumed he was taken
because he's like gorgeous.

Look at this face.

I come from
the Navaho Nation.

I grew up on a Cree
reserve in Northeastern Alberta.

We carry ourselves proudly
with our heritage and culture.

That's what gives us
our strength.

Our team name is
Team Ahkameyimok,

which is Cree for
"never give up."

Team Ahkameyimok!

Lauren and Joanne, sisters
from Regina, Saskatchewan...

Hi, my name's Jo!

Growing up with Joanne
as a sister is like having...

Eeh...
Rah!

...a wild animal
in your house at all times.

Ooh, yeah, kind of!

To get to be
the first team

ever to represent Saskatchewan
is so special to us.

I've got that
Prairie pride in my veins!

Get you a doctor!

Aarthy and Thinesh,
dating couple from Vancouver...

Thinesh and I have been
dating for about three years.

She didn't
like me at first.

"Very disliked"
would be the appropriate term.

And the rest
is history.

So cheesy!

We totally bicker.

We think it's healthy.

There's
a lot of screaming,

a lot of hands
flying everywhere.

I pick and choose my battles.

Trish and Amy,
friends from Toronto...

I'm a mom of three.

I'm a mom
of seven kids.

As soon as you hear
the word "mom,"

the other teams
are gonna be like,

"They drive the kids to school,
they make lunches,

"and they do laundry."

We're nice,
but we're not like pushovers.

We do
triathlons together.

We're strong,
and we can go the distance.

I've got her back;
she's got mine.

I just do
whatever she says.

Yeah!
No.

Meaghan and Marie,
twin sisters

from Halifax,
Nova Scotia...

- I'm Marie.
- I'm Meaghan.

We both live together.
We both work together.

Same sports teams.
Same schools.

- Same everything.
- Aah!

We want to prove to the
rest of Canada that as young,

proud, queer women,
especially from the East Coast,

we have a lot of grit
and determination.

We came here
to kick ass.

Gilles and Sean,
grandfather and grandson

from Sunderland, Ontario...

He's 65.
I'm 20.

Age means
absolutely nothing.

So, before Sean came along,
I had suffered from

years and years of addiction.

His coming into my life just
changed my life so dramatically.

This little baby taught me

to be the best person
that I could be.

My mother was
16 when she had me.

I didn't have a father,
so he was that male role model.

I look up to him every day.

Even when we're butting heads,
he comes up to me and says,

"You know what, Sean?

"Have I told you
I love you today?"

I love you today.

Dave and Irina, married
couple from Montreal, Quebec...

I'm a writer
and journalist,

and I met Dave when I wrote
a story about his career.

Ah!
Ah!

I'm a
professional fighter.

I fight Burmese
bare-knuckle boxing.

The only way to win
is by knockout.

Boom!

Dave is
champion of the world.

I go to all his fights.

I hate the other guy;

I scream, "Dave, Dave, Dave!
He's gonna win!"

But I'm also an angel.

That's my champion!

Dave's always in a ring.

This is a chance for me
to get in the ring.

We're not gonna be
hiding our emotions.

We're bad at that.

I'm ready.

Woo-hoo!
Woo-hoo!

Come on, you guys!
Come on!

Yes!

Welcome to
Toronto, everyone,

and welcome to season seven
of the Amazing Race Canada!

You're about to begin
an adventure that will change

your life forever.

This season, we asked
Canadians from coast to coast

to coast to vote
for one team,

and put them back
at the starting line,

so they'll have a second
chance to win it all.

Are you ready to
meet Canada's choice?

Yeah!

Canada voted,
and they chose...

Guess who?

We're back.

Canada,
thank you so much.

We are humbled and grateful.

Great job!

Ah, ah, ah, ah, ah!

We won three legs
in season one in a row.

Amazing.

Having a second chance,

it does put a lot
of pressure on us.

I don't want
to say we want it more

- than the other teams.
- But we want it more.

But we want it more.

It's showtime, baby!

From season one,
Jet and Dave!

What's up?!

What's up?!

Bring it in.
Bring it in.

Let's hug!
Yes, Jonny!

We're back, baby!

Are you guys
happy to see them?

They were definitely our
first choice because these boys

- inspired us to want to race.
- Wow.

- That's awesome.
- It's obviously exciting.

It's very humbling
to be Canada's choice.

Everyone
deserves a second chance.

I also think it's
their first chance

to go home for the second time.

Yikes.

Let's get down to it.

Do you want to know
what you're racing for?

Yeah!

Here we go!
For the team that makes

it to the final leg and crosses
the finish line first,

you will win...

the all-new 2019
Chevrolet Blazer RS,

one for each of you.

A once-in-a-lifetime trip
for two around the world...

A quarter of a million
dollars cash...

And the Amazing Race Canada!

Alright, you guys,
here we go.

Good luck...

Race safe...

Go!

Go!
Run!

Up, up, up, up, up!

Get your bag!

Go, go, go, go, go!

Take your bag,
take your bag, take your bag!

- Alright, let's do this.
- Route info.

Make your way to Extreme
Reach Recording Studios

and search outside
for your next clue.

In this leg, there are
two Express Passes up for grabs.

Oh!
Taxi, taxi, taxi!

Here, this is good.
This is good.

- Can you pop the trunk?
- It's nuts!

My heart is
just pounding here.

- Take a breath.
- Breathe, breathe.

This is such a rush!

- I know, this is crazy!
- Go, go!

Amazing Race Canada!

Oo-oo-ooh!

We're scared of
Canada's Choice, Jet and Dave.

They kind of ruined my day.

You would think being,
you know, our second kick at it,

you know, we'd be a lot calmer,
a little more composed.

No, wrong.

There's
a team right there.

You're going down.
Ha!

Extreme Reach
Recording Studios.

First to the clue box.
Woo!

Roadblock.

Who can hear
the lion roar?

In this Roadblock, one
racer will step up to the Mic

and record their voice
to the trailer of Disney's

highly anticipated
The Lion King.

You must take your place
in the circle of life.

First, racers must
sit with an audio engineer,

and rehearse the exact timing
of this voiceover script.

Run away, Simba,
and never return.

When they are ready,
they will head into one of these

two studios to perfectly
time their voice

to The Lion King trailer.

Once the racers deliver
a screen-worthy take,

the director will give
them their next clue.

- Irina's gonna do it.
- I'm gonna do it.

- I can do it, man.
- That was a close race.

- I'm Dave too.
- Dave?

- Nice to meet you, brother.
- Let's do this.

I'm recording
my voice into the world

of Disney's The Lion King.

Life's not fair...

Is it, my little friend?

This guy sleeps in
Lion King pyjamas every night.

Ah!
How dare you?

He's gonna nail this.

Begging for scraps...
Not bad.

Run away, Simba,
and never return.

So I'm trying to figure
out when each line starts,

and re-watching it over and over
again, remembering that okay,

when the screen goes dark...

Begging for scraps.

This is when
I have to start talking.

Man, I've gotta
get the timing right.

Oh my god.

There's the box.
There's the box.

Come on!
Come on!

Who can
hear the lion roar?

That's me!

Record your voice
into the world of Disney!

The Lion King!
Yes!

...the circle of life.

Beautiful.
Oh my god.

- Dreams.
- Aisha is an actor,

so I feel like this is
her forte, like come on.

Hi, guys.

Head on
into the booth.

I have
a degree in acting.

I've done a lot of improv.
Im'a share my voice.

So,
are you ready to go?

- I think so.
- Great.

Go ahead.

Cut.

- Go back and practice.
- Oh, wow.

I thought I had this...
My acting career!

This is horrible!

- Aisha, how'd it go?
- Not so good, clearly!

One-take Jake
over here!

Oh, yeah,
we'll see about that!

She was a little
egotistical.

That's my job.

Cut.

I got to my second line
and she said "cut,"

so that's not good.

Run away, Simba,
and never return.

And never return.
Holy crap, this is hard.

I can hear
a lion roar today.

- I can.
- Sure.

- I'll do it.
- Okay, cool.

Okay,
he's going to do it.

I'm so happy because
audio and voice, she's the one.

Okay, let's try it.

Oh!
I'm so happy.

Thank you.

- One attempt.
- It's the Lion Queen here!

- You're doing well.
- Oh man!

We're team number one!

Teams must make their way
to the Ontario Food Terminal,

the largest wholesale fruit
and produce distribution centre

in the entire country.

Once here, teams must search
through 100,000 square feet

of cold storage, spread
over eight different rooms,

find two halves of a postcard
that will reveal

their next destination.

That's how you win
the Amazing Race Canada.

Okay, calm down!

Oh my god, that put
way more pressure on it!

Cut.
Not good enough.

Oh my god!
It's knowing the timing.

Who can
hear the lion roar?

- I'll do it.
- You do it.

Woo!
You made it!

Look how many teams
are here already.

We're from Toronto
and know this city.

We are the last team
to arrive.

That really sucks.

Can I do it
one more time?

Others spend
their lives in the dark...

- Cut!
- Pfft.

We're rolling again, sir!

Begging for scraps.

No?

- A true king--
- Cut!

It's the timings.

- Begging...
- Cut!

Begging...

I'm gonna go,
I'm gonna go, I'm gonna go.

Stop.
Okay, okay, okay, okay.

So it's cues.
It's good, it's good, it's good.

I don't actually have to
memorize the whole thing.

Keep going.

I've got to
memorize these lines.

While some spend their lives...

Why is this so hard?

While some are born
to feast, others...

Sam and I
are both athletes.

Coming first challenge in
to be like a memoriZation,

or whatever this might be,
out of our comfort zone.

You must take your
place in the circle of...

I'm gonna try this.

Run away, Simba,
and never return.

Oh my gosh!

The lines are there,
and I'm here memoriZing!

Ugh!

I've wasted so much time.

Now I'm just going
to watch this.

Oh!

I just need to get
the timing right.

Oh my goodness, this is...

Lord, help me.

It is time.

You must take your place...

One, two...
...in the circle of life.

Chills.
I felt it too!

Let's do it!

Begging for scraps.
Frig, Aisha!

This is when you
frigging say it.

I'm totally ready.

- Great read.
- Oh!

In the circle of life.

Yes!
Oh my god!

Oh my god!

- This is rough!
- Read the clue.

Make your way
to the Ontario Food Terminal

and collect both halves
of a postcard.

Do you know where
the Ontario Food Terminal is?

We're looking for...

Nobody's going
to expect the model

and the fighter to be first.

Ontario Food Terminal.

There!
There, there!

Woo!

It's in one
of these rooms.

We have to find two halves
of the same postcard

that will give us
our next destination.

Oh my god,
it's massive!

It all looks the same.

Oh, man, I'll tell you.
It's not warm in here.

Jet and Dave are here.

- Focus!
- You look that side.

I look this side.

When you got lemons,
you make lemonade.

Other teams
are starting to arrive.

Babe, babe, babe, babe!
I found it, found it, found it!

What, what?
Aah!

Okay, I'm looking
for the second half.

We have to find it ASAP.

Eyes of the tiger.

Run away, Simba...

- Cut.
- This is just hard.

I feel so much pressure.

Run away, Simba,
and never return.

- Not good enough.
- Hello, again!

It's all timing.
That's all it is.

Others spend their lives
in the dark begging for scraps.

Ear twitch, okay.

Begging for scraps.
Thank you.

Okay, I'll try again.

Okay,
take it from the top.

Here we go.
This is it.

You must
take your place...

...in the circle of life.

Woo!
Let's get out of here!

Marie!

Oh my god,
thank you so much!

Oh!
Oh!

Let's go!
Where's my bag?

- Where's my bag?
- Right there.

- We're going!
- Let's go, buddy!

- I'm the Lion King!
- Bye!

This is stressful.

We're
the last two teams.

It's scary.

It's really scary.

We have cabs out there.

It's okay.
It's okay.

Oh, Dave, Dave, Dave.

Uh, "wish you were here."

It's the first half.
Let's go find the second one.

Okay, maybe
it's in the next room.

I don't know.
I don't know.

I'm freaking out right now.

Aah!
Aah!

Ah-ah!
- Yes, my man!

- Kamloops, BC?
- Let's go.

- We've gotta get there first!
- Oh, right, right, right!

Teams must now make
their way to Toronto's

Pearson International Airport,
where they'll sign up

for one of two
separate flights,

landing 30 minutes apart
in Kamloops, British Columbia.

They'll also be able to stock up
on an assortment of Cliff Bars

to keep them energiZed
along the race.

The other team's
still looking.

Oh, I got one, babe!

- Is that the other side?
- Oh, yes!

Woo-hoo-hoo-hoo!

Okay, let's go,
let's go, let's go!

Oh, Aisha!
This is the other side!

- Yes!
- Woo!

I think
we're still third,

so we should be on
the first flight out.

Like, we don't even have
competition on this season.

We're Canada's choice, honestly.

I like that.

Find the Cliff Bar
signup board.

- Right there.
- Just like that.

- Team number one.
- We did it.

Atta boy.
Dude, Cliff Bars.

- Oh!
- Let's go.

- We're second.
- Aah!

Okay, we have
to beat Jet and Dave.

- You know that, right?
- Yeah.

- We're on flight one!
- Perfect!

- Oh, who's that?
- Oh, look who it is.

- Oh!
- I'm Jet, by the way.

- Irina.
- Irina.

We're second to add
our names on the board.

Jet and Dave got
a bit lucky on us.

It's pure luck.

Bringing losers from other
seasons is not a real threat,

just another team that
we have to eliminate.

You know that he's
the champion of the world?

Just the world?

We're gonna see who's
going to get knocked out here.

There is trash talking,
and then there's that.

Amy!
Amy, Amy, Amy, Amy, Amy!

Kamloops, BC.
Let's go.

Watch out,
the moms are coming.

Oh my god,
are we going to Kamloops?

Oh my god, Jo,
we could be on the first flight!

Fly to Kamloops,
British Columbia.

Okay.
Let's go.

Are you
looking on that side?

I haven't been
looking on that side.

Oh, god!

Run away, Simba,
and never return.

Maybe I
should have done it.

I don't know.

I think T thinks he's
letting me down, and he's not.

Oh my god!
Let's go!

I love you!
Let's go!

Let's go!
Let's go!

We're not last.

I just didn't want
to let you down.

You'll
never let me down.

Aw...
I love you.

Life's...

It's crazy
because I never expected

to be in this position.

I just want to see him
come through that door.

You must take your place
in the circle of life.

I'm so sorry.

Sam, don't
even worry about it.

We've got this.
Anything can happen.

It's anybody's game.
It's always anybody's game.

Go!
Go, go!

- Let's go.
- We passed the moms.

We passed the twins!

I cannot
believe we did that.

We are in fourth place!

- Woo!
- Yes!

So we made it
onto flight one.

We have an advantage
over the next five teams!

Woo!

Oh, no.
Damn.

We're on fight number two.

Honestly, I really hoping

we were going to be
on the first flight.

So it's a huge disadvantage.

- Lauren.
- And Joanne!

- Joanne.
- Yeah, nice to meet you.

Nice to meet you.
Let's see this.

- That's Saskatchewan.
- That is the Prairies.

We're big Rider fans.
Huge.

Like actually
just met Jet and Dave.

Like, they are like my heroes.
I'm just mind-blown.

Flight number one, baby.

We're on the first flight,
and also on our flight,

Dave and Irina, Nicki and Aisha,
Trish and Amy,

and Lauren and Joanne.

Hopefully we can
keep that lead.

All teams are now traveling
nearly 4,000 kilometres

on two separate flights,
30 minutes apart, from Toronto,

via Vancouver,
to Kamloops, British Columbia.

Here, amongst the mountain
peaks' arid desert,

10 teams will race through
the streets of Kamloops,

as they compete for first place
and two Express Passes.

Once they touch down...

- Let's go, baby.
- Woo!

...they'll move into the
2019 Chevrolet Colorado ZR2.

You want it?

...where they'll
find their next clue.

- Roadblock.
- Who likes mind games?

In this Roadblock,
the racer that didn't perform

the previous Roadblock is
gonna have to zip into action.

Woo-hoo-hoo!

...and soar 1,000 feet
across the now dormant

Ajax copper mine
on a zipline,

hanging 100 feet above
the water below.

Then the racer will
release this yellow ball

at just the right moment,
so it lands inside

this floating target.

Woo-hoo-hoo!

Once they've
nailed the target,

they'll receive their next clue.

- Here, go!
- Yay, yeah!

Alright, let's do it.

Somehow,
we are number one.

Navigator of the year
back there.

Oh, thanks for
not making me say it.

I have no idea
what I'm about to do,

but it looks extreme.

It's windy, man.

You know,
I don't love heights.

I don't love heights.

Oh, wow,
I'm a little jealous.

So, if you fall from
this height, do you die?

There you go.

Oh, here he comes!

Oh, wow.

Okay, a shot.

Looks good...
Oh!

Drat!
Okay.

Ugh, the wind
is just insane.

Oh, oh!
Is everyone here?

No, honey.

Oh, my goodness!

What?
Wah!

Is she afraid
of heights at all?

No!

This is why this is a perfect
challenge for her.

I'm a basketball player.

I've got this on the block.

Wind, cooperate with me!

Cooperate, cooperate, cooperate.

Aah!

I'm getting it
the second try!

Woo!

Are there a couple of trucks
there already, or what?

Another team
just rolled up.

We're fourth.
I don't see moms.

Okay.

The wind is
blowing like crazy.

Because we're flying forward,
so a little bit before.

I'm always 100% confident
in my husband's abilities.

He's a winner in life, and he's
a winner in this challenge.

I know he's gonna get it.

Come on, Dave.
Get the lead.

Get the lead.

He's gonna get
it on the first try, 100%.

What happens
if he doesn't?

- Ooh.
- It's not a question.

Woo-hoo!

Oh, he's waiting too long.

He's waiting way too long.

Yeah!

Woo!

- The brain!
- Yes, yes, yes!

I told you!
In your face!

- That's a shame.
- Woo!

- Geeze!
- I love you so much.

Drive yourselves
to Circle Creek Ranch,

and search the grounds
for your next clue.

Winner couple!

Argh!
That's frustrating.

Haven't
seen the moms yet.

Yeah, that's good.

Where do I go left, Amy?

You haven't given me
a chance to look at where

we're going yet.

So we're just
going to breathe,

and you're just going
to dial in and look.

There's only one road
out of the airport.

Okay, well...

Yeah, there's
only one road.

Road
is way down here.

Amy, just
tell me where to go.

We're older
than the other teams,

and we're quite familiar with
maps, so this is so frustrating.

We're going to lose our
first flight advantage.

Ten more to go.

I don't know.
Argh!

Where am I going?

You're gonna
make a right.

Right here?

I wouldn't
have gone that way.

Okay, so tell me
which way to go.

We're very, very different.

Amy gets me to
take a little more time,

and I get her to
get out of her head,

and go like,
"We've gotta go."

I know where we are.

I just don't know
where we're going.

Let's go!

So we've gotta
find Ajax Mine.

I'm gonna see if I can
find that on the map.

Okay, right now,
I'm following teams.

I've never driven
a truck before, that's for sure.

Kamloops seems beautiful.

So far, I'm looking
more at the map than up.

- Who's in front of us?
- Anthony and James.

We've
been here a bunch.

The streets are
really confusing.

We actually got some maps.

I think I might
try and throw it harder.

I've gotta get this.
We have to get out of here.

Okay, here goes Dave!

We got here first.

Dave and Irina,
they're gone.

Nicki and Aisha are here.

Lauren and Joanne are here.

Fun and games time is over.

Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah,
yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah!

Here we go.
There we go.

Drive yourself to
Circle Creek Ranch,

and search the grounds
for your next clue.

- Don't know where that is.
- Okay.

As the navigator,
it's my job to follow the map,

but I don't have a map.

Risky business, as they say.

Baby, there's
a clue right there.

- I see the clue box.
- Route marker.

Play it by ear.

Here,
at Circle Creek Ranch,

racers will need to search this
herd of 30 feisty yearlings

to find their next location
written on the tab

attached to the ear
of one of these cows.

Once they've gotten
close enough

to spot their
next destination...

Colleen the rancher
will give them their next clue.

So it looks like
the next destination on...

On the ears
of the cattle, yeah.

Hey, hey!
You guys want to fight?

I don't mind fighting.
I'm a fighter.

Hey, hey, hey!

They're so afraid
and so scared

that they like do
all these movements.

Well, okay,
it's gonna be tough.

And I just stepped
in poo-poo!

There it is.
Ah...

No, get lost.
As if.

Anthony and James,
they are in front of us.

As if!

Go, James!

You've got this.
You've got this, go!

We had the advantage
of the early flight,

but a team from the later flight
actually surpassed us.

Oh my goodness.

- Alright, Nicki, here we go.
- Come on.

Drop it now.
Drop it now.

Drop it now.
Drop it now.

- This is so crazy.
- Yes!

- We know where to go.
- Go, go, go!

Yes!
So we're not really lost!

- Oh!
- Sorry!

I see something.

There's a bunch
of people over there.

That looks like it.

All the
teams are arriving!

Argh!

Marie,
you've got this, honey!

Go, go, go!
You've got this, Marie!

Is there anybody
who's not here yet at all?

No, everyone's here.

Oh, man,
this is so cool.

Yeah, Lauren!

You got it, buddy!
Come on!

We're all fighting
against the wind,

so I decide to put
a backspin on the ball.

Go, go, go!
No...

Woo!

I love you!

Ah, move--
Stop moving, babe.

Just try to approach them
slowly and friendly.

They run away, baby.

If you're not moving,
the cow doesn't move either.

Kamloops Bike Ranch.

- Boom.
- That's correct.

Yes, yes!

Okay, babe,
yeah, no time for that.

We should go.
Okay, seriously.

Drive yourself
to the Kamloops Bike Ranch.

Pitstop!

Teams must find their way
to the Kamloops Bike Ranch,

a 65-acre bike park carved out
of the rugged mountain terrain.

Surrounded by high-flying
pro-athletes,

teams will drop in on
the first Pitstop of the race.

The last team to check in
here may be eliminated.

We're going
to Kamloops Bike Ranch

to see Jon
at the first Pitstop!

Pitstop, woo!
Let's go!

Come on, Gilles,
let's do this the first time.

Think about it!
Evaluate it!

Know what you've gotta do!

My grandfather
is such a daredevil.

Who, at the age of 65,
would even dream of

doing something like this?

Argh!

Way short!
Nah!

Come on!

I'm hoping he feeds off
that a little bit.

Argh...

This is our chance
to make up a ton of ground.

Sarah is the type,
she goes after it.

She's gonna kill it.
We're hungry.

We're coming from last.

Yes!
First try!

We're not at
the back of the pack!

- Woo!
- That's right.

We want Circle Creek Ranch.

So, then,
where am I going?

Navigate, navigator.

Okay, navigate
to the youngest person

with the newest phone, then.

Excuse me...
Hi.

Do you have a phone that
we can search directions?

But look,
it said that that road

is off.

- Alright, thank you.
- Thanks, amigo.

I'm starting to think there's
some value in getting a map.

- Really, really windy.
- I'm just hopeful.

It would do me a lot of good
to get out of here

because we're terrible
with directions, apparently.

Yeah!

You got this, boo!

Push it down.
Ah...

Yes!
Woo!

- Yeah!
- Let's go.

Let's go,
let's go, let's go!

I need to count.

1, 2, 3.

Drop it!

We're moving on.
We're good.

Ahkameyimok!

Woo!

Woo!
Good job!

You got this, baby!

Be confident!

It just sucks
to run a race being

always in the last two.

It's just pressure.
It's a lot of pressure.

Okay.

My biggest fear is
letting Thinesh down.

Yes!

I love you!
Woo!

You're the best!

We're last.

Okay, thank you.

You always say it, where
there's a Gilles, there's a way!

Show me that way!

This is all you!

Come on!

Oh, no!

We're last.

If he doesn't get
this one right now,

I'm thinking this might be it.

Come on!
Get this done!

Let us leave!

Aah, damn!

This is so frustrating!

Wow!

At this point,
I need a team to mess up

for us to get through
this game.

We're headed to
Circle Creek Ranch.

We initially got
some directions

which seemed to make
a lot of sense.

We're turning
this ship around.

- Yeah.
- We've gone too far.

I'm convinced of it.

Who just got here?

- Probably Jet and Dave.
- Oh, I'd die.

Oh, no!

We got
Sam and Sarah.

How did they beat us?

Let's go find cows.

Just go slow
because they get scared.

Yeah.

We're hoping if
we work together,

- none of us are eliminated.
- Little guy, little guy.

Up front.
Front side of his ear.

- Okay...
- Just get down.

Nice and soft.
Don't worry.

Kamloops Bike Ranch.

- We got it?
- Thanks very much.

Great job!
Thanks, guys.

We are headed
to our first Pitstop.

Gimme that Cliff Bar.
I am hungry!

The Bike Ranch.

Jon, baby,
we're coming for you!

- Woo!
- Hey, babe, babe, babe!

Oh, yes!

We're coming in!
I love you so much.

Come on, you guys!
Bring it in!

Welcome to Kamloops,
British Columbia.

You know
what I want to hear.

Dave and Irina,
you're team number one!

Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes!

You have won a trip for two
to Cape Town, South Africa.

Oh, that's her dream!

That's
where I want to go!

- Woo!
- I can't believe this!

Yeah, okay, I'm with you.

And that's
not all you've won.

As winners of this leg of
the race, you have won...

Yes.

Two Express Passes.

- Yeah!
- Woo!

One for you to use,
and one for you to give away

by the end of the
third leg of the race.

Guess who has
the Express Pass, baby.

- Woo!
- We do!

Woo-hoo!

Hello.
Hello.

Oh, this is way harder
than I thought.

- Howdy!
- Moo!

Don't do that.
I grew up on a farm.

Moo!

I don't think
this is helping them.

- Moo.
- Amy!

They're going
to charge at me.

Whoa, whoa, whoa.
Don't make eye contact.

So close.
It's so tiny.

Kamloops Bike Ranch?

Congratulations.
You're correct.

Thank you so much.
Perfect.

I know exactly
where we're going.

Friggin' right, I got it.

Kamloops Bike Ranch.

I don't know
where we're going.

If you see anywhere that
looks like a good spot

to stop and ask someone,
go for it.

Do you know where
Kamloops Bike Ranch is?

Do you know
which direction it is?

You have no idea?
Argh...

Kamloops Bike Ranch.

- Anthony...
- Amy, Amy!

- Congratulations.
- The moms got it, eh?

Thank you so much.

We're the only ones
in here right now.

Kids, we're going
to the Pitstop, baby!

We're
going to see Jonny!

They're all literally
right in front of us,

- all the clues.
- I know.

They're taunting us.

Yee-haw!
Hey, guys.

Oh my goodness.

Jon!

Come on, you guys,
Sarah and Sam, hustle it up!

Bring it in,
bring it in, you guys!

Sarah and Sam, Meaghan
and Marie, Lauren and Joanne,

you guys are teams
number 2, 3, and 4!

Sarah and Sam,
from the back of the pack

to second place.

We had to remain focused,
and like get our minds right.

This is gonna be
a ridiculously competitive race.

It's one leg at a time.

I am so
not confident

that we are heading
in the right direction.

Being lost on
the Amazing Race Canada

is the worst feeling
in the world.

Do we ask?

Should we turn?
Let's just go up here.

Hello.

Wondering if you can
help us with directions.

So we're looking for
Circle Creek Ranch.

Can we come around and look?

This is Kamloops here.

I know this road now.
This is, um...

It's probably about
80 kilometres to Kamloops.

Wondering if you can
help us with directions.

Circle Creek Ranch.

It's probably about
80 kilometres to Kamloops.

That's bad.

We can go from first
to worst so quickly.

But, I don't know,
anything can happen, right?

Come on.

I gotta get it
this time.

We are last.

It sucks thinking that
the first leg you're done.

I gotta get this now.

I have no choice.
My partner will kill me.

Come on...
Come on...

Yeah!
Finally!

Why couldn't I have done
that the first time?!

Circle Creek Ranch.

Sorry, Sean.
Did the best I could.

I know.
That's all that matters.

Nah.

Kamloops Bike Ranch.

We've gone too far.

I think I just
misread the map.

Oh my god, this sucks.

I'm like
freaking out.

Luckily my hubby, the calm to
my chaos, is there right now.

Just take some breaths.

Do you know where
the Kamloops Bike Park is?

Go ask his phone, Anthony.

Trish and Amy,
you're team number five.

We just finished leg one!
We're so happy!

Maybe stop
moving for a second.

- Okay.
- Kamloops something.

That's the first word?

Kamloops Bike Ranch.

Kamloops Bike Ranch.

We're heading
to the Pitstop!

It's gonna be a mad dash.

I will swim in cow manure
if it means doing this.

Oh god, is that them?
Gilles and Sean.

This is still anybody's game.

They can go in there,
get the first cow.

This is home.

I worked and managed
a dairy farm for years.

It might be this one, Sean.

One minute.

Wait, look at me.

Both of these cows.

- Wrong cow.
- Wrong cow.

Kamloops Bike Ranch.

Yo, my heart
is like beating so bad.

We should look
for the bike trail,

- and go down the bike trail.
- Yeah.

I want to just say this
because bikes are on it.

But I don't know.
I think it's straight.

Yeah, I think here.

I just want to see Jon.

- Aah!
- Careful, careful!

If I were Jon,
where would I be?

He's probably
at the very bottom.

I hope we're going
the right way.

I see nothing.

Okay,
we have to search.

They just made it.

- We gotta find Jon.
- Nice hustle, nice hustle.

Watch your step.

Bring it in, guys.
Bring it in.

Anthony, James,
Aarthy, Thinesh...

Yes.

You guys are teams
number 6 and 7.

Yes!

- We're not last, baby!
- We don't suck!

This is never ending.

Where is this guy?

Wah!

That one over here.
There's one here, Sean.

- No, no, no.
- Follow me.

Follow me.
Kamloops Bike Ranch.

The last team to check in
may be eliminated.

Uh, okay.

The bike ranch is
not on my map at all.

Darn, I should have got
a map of Kamloops itself.

I think
this is it for us.

Circle Creek Ranch.

I hope I get
to do some dressage,

the most beautiful
of the horse dances.

Do they do those
back-kick things?

- Oh, yeah.
- Yee-ow!

He's kicking at me.

If I am in last,
I hope I do get gored.

If I were Jon,
where would I be?

We can't
find him anywhere.

That's nuts.

We start walking,
and walking, and walking.

We gotta
keep moving, though.

- We can't just...
- I know, but I don't know

if we should keep moving back
inwards or back outwards.

Oh my gosh!

Oh, he's a red.
He's a ginger.

It's Jon Montgomery!

Kamloops...

Okay, stop.
Slow, slow.

Kamloops Bike Ranch?

Here's your next clue.

The last team to check in
may be eliminated.

- Here we go.
- Let's do it.

We're looking for
Kamloops Bike Ranch.

Turn right
on Summit Drive.

Write that.
Do you have a pen?

What did she just say?
You heard it too.

Right now,
we're trusting

- that last girl's advice.
- If not...

If not, we're
definitely out of this.

If I were Jon,
where would I be?

What if it's back at the top?

Wait, wait, wait.
Look up, look up.

- Oh my god!
- He's right there.

We have to climb this mountain.

I like the Stairmaster,
but like, geeze!

You never know.
You never know in this race.

Is that Jon up there?

- Bike ranch!
- Come on, I gotta go.

I'll grab the bags.

Let's not get run over
by a bike right at the end.

- Don't stop.
- Come on, fellas!

I got the bags in sight!

Bring it in, you guys.
Nice work.

Come on, old man!

Nicki and Aisha,
Gilles, Sean,

you are teams number 8 and 9.

Yeah!

Yeah!
Yeah!

That's how we do it!

Hoo-hoo-hoo!
- Woo!

We were for sure
we were done!

We persevered,
and here we are!

Woo!

Jon, you waited!

Jet and Dave...

Jon!

You are the
last team to arrive.

I am sorry to tell you this,

but that means you've been
eliminated from the race.

Again.

Yeah.
Yeah.

Can you guys believe it?

This is like the worst
thing that could have happened,

coming back and being
the first eliminated,

after being voted in.

To be voted back,
even one leg,

I'm not taking
that for granted.

Canada, thank you.

We are so grateful
to get this second chance,

and I think that's why
this loss is so gut-wrenching.

I'm honoured to run the race
a second time with my buddy,

and there's no one
I'd rather run it with.

Sorry to
see you go, but...

- Last time?
- Bring it in, boys.

Aah!

Hey, Jon, this is worth it!

- It's suddenly worth it!
- Ay-ay-ay.

We learned a hard lesson.

Maps are very important.

They actually
show you locations.

Maps are great.

Hey, Canada,
get more maps.

Next time on
The Amazing Race Canada...

- Road trip!
- Woo!

Teams hit road and race to
Revelstoke, British Columbia!

Aah, great!

...where it's
full steam ahead for some...

Choo-choo!

I want to be first!

Oh, I hate this
so much!

...and a slap in the face
for others.

Marie, paddle right.
Paddle left.

At the Roadblock,
the competition

kicks into high gear,
and leaves some racers...

- Oh my god!
- Aah!

...in the dust.
