The Amazing Race Australia (2011–…): Season 6, Episode 11 - Leg 11 (Colombia) - full transcript

In the Turkish fishing village of Alacati, teams search for the world's trickiest ice cream vendors and dive into a bowl of Turkish delight. But it's a jet car water race that truly tests our teams.

Everyone else, you have The Amazing

everyone else, you have The Amazing
Race

everyone else, you have The Amazing
Race Australia.

We are in Bogota, Colombia.

Founded by Spanish conquistadors
in the 16th century,

it's the third
highest city on the planet.

It's the gateway to South America

and the gateway to the next leg
of our race around the world.

"Fly to Medellin, Colombia."

"Fly to Medellin, Colombia."
Boss!

"City of Eternal Spring."

Ooh-hoo-hoo-hoo!

"Make your way to El Penol..."

"...and climb to the summit
to find your next clue."

Oh, that's cool.
Let's go, bro.

Let's go.
Oh, which way you going?

Where is it? No, this way.

While six teams
are headed to Medellin,

five teams are still in isolation -

Tiffany and Cynthia,

Fliss and Tottie,

Jodie and Claire,

Kelly and Georgia

and Lauren and Steph.

They'll be rejoining The Amazing Race

as soon as they're out of isolation.

Meanwhile, I've been
given the all clear

and I'm about to head back
and rejoin the race.

So here's my mate Scotty
on the ground to take it away.

I've got somewhere to be.

Our teams
are flying 416 kilometres

to Colombia's second
biggest city, Medellin.

Once known as the murder capital
of the world,

it's been reborn as
a friendly and innovative city,

one that will challenge
your prejudice of Colombia.

It's a mix of modernist
high-rise architecture

and the vibrant
Comuna 13 neighbourhood

and it's the exciting location

for the 11th leg
of The Amazing Race Australia!

Right, exit.

Let's go around to those three.

Yo, taxi!

It's hot out here.

Got yours in?
Yep. Does it shut?

This way, this way.
OK, yeah.

Oh, this is gonna be so tight.

How are you gonna fit? Oh, my God.

Teams are departing
in the order

that they arrived
at the last Pit Stop.

Hola!

We're dead last,
but this leg

we can really just
push and push and push,

try and aim for the top spot, hey?

Yeah.
Boom.

Just try our best, bro.
Yeah.

Alright, "Make your way
to El Penol, Antioquia."

Colombia's rivers are jam-packed

with the offspring
of Pablo Escobar's pet hippos.

I hope nothing escaped
my private zoo while I was in iso.

But you'd need around
five million hippos

to match the awesome size

of the rock known as El Penol.

At well over 2,000 metres
above sea level,

the air at the peak is thin

and teams will struggle
with the altitude

as they scale up 700 steps

through narrow tunnels
carved into the rock itself

to reach the summit.

If they're still breathing
when they get up here,

they'll find their next clue.

You ready to climb a summit?

A big summit?

Sometimes you get
so caught up in the race

and you've just gotta remember...
look where you are!

We in Colombia.
Oh-ho-ho!

Colombia, baby!

ANGEL:

FRANKIE:

Med... Med... Medellin?

Medellin or something?
Yeah, I think we're in Medellin.

It looks beautiful, though.
Like, it's so pretty.

Everything's just so different here,
like, agriculturally.

Big word, little girl.
Big word.

And I nailed it.

You nailed it. You did. You did.

Is that me?

Yeah.
That's like...

It's like I've gotta lean forward
because the tyre's scraping.

It's scraping on the road.

I don't know if that's...

Like, when we were going on bumps...

Honestly, I was freaking out there.

I just hope we make it
there in one piece.

I said...
Yeah, 'paco', 'police'.

'Paco', which is 'police'
in Spanish.

I feel like I've got a bit
of a leg-up on the competition

simply because
of the language barrier.

It feels like home.

You know, 'senor',
is that 'lady'? 'Woman'?

I thought it was 'senorita'.

Yeah, 'senorita',
'senor' is short for 'lady'.

'Senor'?

Jamus is a bit heavy
so this side of the car

is scraping on the frigging tyre.

You have to change position.

The tyre may explode.

Pull over.
Stop the car.

I wanna get off.
I wanna get out of the car.

Wait, hon.

Oh, no, the tyre's been scraping!

The rubber on his tyre is actually...

Like, he just pulled a bit off of it.

As we pulled over, we saw the two
taxis behind us zoom straight past.

You get in a good position
and now here we are

in last position
with a burnt-out rim.

'Bye, everybody!

See you at the summit.

Oh, Gab, look ahead, bro.

That looks epic.
Oh, my God.

- Whoa!
- What the...?!

That's crazy. Look how big it is.
Hooly-dooly!

I'm not walking up that.
Can you carry me up there?

Uh...

Damn, that looks high-as, bro.
We have to climb that.

It's a rock.
Yeah, a big rock.

It ain't Uluru.
Hey!

Oh, no.
Oh, my life!

My legs hurt already
just looking at it.

Gracias.
Ooh! Gracias.

Oh, my gosh!

This is nuts!

How cool is this place?

The music. What a vibe.

Hey!

Hola!
Hey, hey!

Hola! Whoo!

It was awesome.
Colombians are so nice.

100%.

Two tickets.

OK.

20.
20.

OK, you ready for this?
Yep, let's get it.

Ready to walk this mountain.

Thank you.

Oh, my God. Oh, my God!

Hooly-dooly. That's nuts.

Oh, the girls just got here.

I'm going with your pace.

So you set it, OK?
Yep.

We're kind of into it.
We like stairs.

Yeah, it's something
I would choose to do over a run.

Yeah.

That's nuts!

Beautiful!

Colombia!

You just break if you need to.
Yep.

Just rest.

I felt like I couldn't breathe, hey?

That altitude was crazy.

Just look below you, alright?
Yep, yep.

Yeah.

Yeah, you're good. We're fine.

That's a decent... squish.
Yeah.

Where are we? Stuck in El Penol
with a burnt-out car.

I am so upset right now. Honestly.

I am sorry.
Your boyfriend is too big.

Si, yeah.

Changing positions,
I'm sitting in the front

so it doesn't scrape the tyres
and it doesn't blow.

We got a lot of catching up to do.

Well behind the pack now.

No more food for you on this race.

No more food.

Can you open the boot?
The boot.

Come on, Heathy.
I think I just got...

Muchas gracias.

OK, I can see
three teams right now.

How far ahead are they?

Keep rocking.

Just a few more flights.

You right?
Yep.

She's steep.

Take your time.

I already feel the burn
and we haven't done anything.

Oh, not the easiest walk,
but the greatest view.

Good job. So close.

Nearly there, Frankie.
I can see the top.

Good job, Flick.

Yep.
You got this.

We better be...

Yeah, it's here.

Awesome.
My back.

Detour - Brew or Bru...
Brew or Bunch.

A Detour is a choice
between two challenges,

each with its own pros and cons.

Colombia
is one of the top three

producers of coffee in the world.

Teams that choose Brew must collect
a 9-kilogram sack of coffee beans.

They'll have to locate
five individual beans,

each inscribed with a letter.

Once they find the letters,

they'll have to spell
the word 'aroma'.

And once completed,
they'll receive their next clue.

My question is, how many flat whites
does this many coffee beans produce?

Each year, Medellin
blooms in all its glory

at the annual flower festival,
which began in 1957.

Teams that choose Bunch,

they'll have to grab
a bunch of flowers

and mount it to this
wooden frame and replicate

this glorious
arrangement of flowers

known locally as silletas.

They'll then put the frame
on their back

and they'll go see our flower master.

Once he gives them
the seal of approval,

they'll receive their next clue.

Let's do Bunch.
Bunch? Let's go.

Shot, girls.
Yes, girls!

Good work, good work, good work.

Yeah, so when we got to the top,
we saw Angel and Frankie.

Yep.
Which meant we kept up with them.

Which was, we felt, good.

We felt like we won already.
We were like, "Whoo-hoo!"

Detour - Brew or Bunch.

I think Bunch.
Bunch?

Even though we're coffee girls,
let's go Bunch.

Bunch. Let's do it. Let's go.
Yep, let's do it.

Holy shit.
Look at those stairs, hon.

Those stairs are ridiculous.

Oh, dear.
I'm just not gonna speak.

I don't want you to speak to me
at all walking up the stairs.

OK.

Hon, this way, like this.
Jamus, I said don't talk to me.

No, but I'm just thinking smart...

Save your breath, please.

Wow, hon. Look at the view!

Look. Just look for a second!
I thought you said don't talk to you.

Just look at the view.
Oh.

This is killing me, man.

Feeling the burn.

My mouth was dry. I felt like
I was out of breath constantly.

Yeah, we're dying because of the
altitude and how high we were at.

It was just extra hard to breathe.
It was, it was.

- Come on, babe.
- You're almost there, man.

Thanks.

You got it, mate.

Is it your shin splints
or your lungs?

I'm alright.
Just deep breathe, hey?

Just get that air in.
It's just the altitude.

Sorry, mate.
Go, buddy.

Thank you.
Alright.

As we kind of got maybe halfway up,
we overtook Pako and Mori,

but we were a bit
worried about them

because they were almost
kind of crawling.

Let's go, babe.

Keep going, babe.

We're almost there!
Yep.

Right behind you.

So... yes. Whoo!

Oh, look how cool these shops are.

Frankie, are you good?

Frankie?

I couldn't fit through the door.

You should've said so.
I would've got my bag.

I didn't know.
I was alright. I didn't know.

Let's just keep moving.

I don't like small spaces at all.

Take your time.

I'm really claustrophobic,
so for me, that was really scary.

I just wanted to get out of it.

And I started to panic.
I'm already out of breath.

Oh, shit. Quick. Oh!

I don't like small spaces. Oh!

As we were going up,
Flick and Gabby were coming down.

In that one section,
we were just jammed.

Keep going, keep going.

Go. She doesn't like it.

I don't like small spaces. Ohh!

Wait, wait. Wait one sec.
We're gonna be too stuck.

Oh, shit.
Is there space down there, Chels?

No, there's nothing.

OK, keep going.
Just get me out of this place.

What's happening?

I just... I just want
to breathe out here.

Chelsea, you're nearly there,
you're nearly there.

Chelsea? Chelsea?

Coming up...

Ugh.

...A challenge that's hard to stomach.

Ugh!

Are those eyeballs?
Ohh!

Eugh!

Oh...
How did Jamus eat it that quickly?

How is that possible?

Chels, you got this.
Look down. You are nearly there.

You got this, Chels. Don't look up.

Grazie.

Oh...

Good job, sis. Good job.

Alright, let's do it.

Go, go, go.

Your pick, babe. Awesome. Thank you.

Let's do it. Come on!

Let's go.

Are you OK?
Yeah, I'm fine.

Guys, it's just there.
There's a bucket there.

Detour.
Brew or Bunch.

Brew.
Brew. Let's go.

Brew.
Brew?

We gotta search for five letters.
Five letters. That's it.

Yeah!

Let's go.
- Come on, guys!

Arriba, arriba, Australia!

We were just so puffed.

Like, our thighs, our ankles
was just killing us.

Oi, one more left.

Hey? There's one more in there?
One more left.

There's one more left.
Alright.

We knew straightaway, like,
"OK, that was another team."

Brew or Bunch.

Bunch.
Bunch. Alright, let's go.

Detour - Brew or Bunch.

What do you want to do, hon?
I think Brew.

OK, let's do it. Let's go.

We're in last position, hon.

Yeah, bubba.

That's so shit, man.

Third to last.

Oh, story of our life.

Let's just have fun, hey?

It is what it is.
, No.

- Thank you. Gracias.
- Thank you. Gracias.

Bunch and Brew.

Bunch is up there.

OK, let's do Bunch first.

Bunch was to put together
a bouquet of flowers.

We had to copy the master design.

Go this way, Frankie, so we can...

Yeah, so we can look from here
while we collect it.

This way's better
'cause it's right there

and then we can collect them
and we don't...

But we... It doesn't matter. Here.

No, we need it the other way.

Angel loves flowers,
always talks about flowers.

She has flowers in her house.

And she loves being creative.

I was like, "Man,
this could be perfect for her.

"All I gotta do is follow her lead."

Frankie, see how they're
in, like, a swirl?

Yeah.
How do we get it so ours aren't flat?

At the bottom here,
if you look under, they've tied it.

Oh, so that it kind of, like, sits.
Yeah.

They sit. OK, yeah.

And then feed it through this one.

You feed that through.
I'm gonna start cutting these.

Yo, you got the right length?

I was a little bit on edge about it

because we had to put
this bouquet onto our back

and it was big.

None of these can fall out.

There's no taxis, so we
can't do shit. We're stuck here.

What the?
Could be up there.

Just... Can you sort it out?
I'm not in the mood.

Please, find a taxi.

Yeah, I'm just trying to find one.
Do something.

So we came back down
all of those stairs

and we couldn't find our taxi.

Where's taxi? Taxi?

This is just ridiculous!

What is going on?

We're just losing time.

This is just horrible.
All the teams have left.

We're sitting here with no taxi.

Oh, man, this is bullshit.

There's no taxis here
so we gotta wait.

Oh, for sake!

That's it. I'm done. We're going.

I'm not filming.
I'm not doing anything.

Oh, there's another team.

- Go in, yeah?
- Yeah.

Go.
Shh.

Is anyone else here?
No, it's just us.

Get out!
Get out of town! We've seen you two!

We don't see Frankie and Angel

too often during
the challenges, to be honest.

No, we were right on their tail.

You just, like, band them
and layer them?

Yeah.

OK.

Alright.

Oh, another team's here.
The boys are here.

Go to that one.

Hey, boys.
Hey, how you doing?

When we chose Bunch,
it was perfectly suited for us

because I have
a horticultural background.

My old job, I used to be
a gardener for two years.

Not just a gardener,
but, like, gardener in Uluru.

So this bloke's flexing, bro.
Oh, yeah.

So it looks
like we're stuck in traffic.

Stuck in some hectic traffic,

but so would all the other teams.

So...
Hopefully.

What do you mean, hopefully?
I hope so.

How would they not be?

It's traffic, bro.
Yeah, hopefully.

I'm busting, Gab.
I'm about to explode.

I actually think
I'm gonna pee my pants.

Hey, guys!
Hey, guys.

- Where's coffee?
- Run to the end of the house.

Shit. OK.

So we poured the coffee beans out.

Oh, my God.

And then we would
have to rummage through

and find these little letters
that were really tiny.

Holy shit.

Oh, my God.

I was expecting, like,
the brown coffee beans.

Like, the roasted beans,
but they were raw.

Flattening them out.

Five letters, though.
That's all we're looking for.

We just need to find the first one
so we know what the rest look like.

Wait.

No.

Oh, boy.
Did we pick the wrong challenge.

Maybe we gotta go the other way.

Oh, my God.
Do you want to do the other one?

This is so hard.

Oh! Found one. 'M'.

'M'. OK.

OK, we got this, babe.

Going through all those
millions of little coffee beans,

we were like, "Oh, boy."

I got 'R'.
Oh, my God. Good.

Oh, my God. Three more.

'A'!
Oh! Shot.

There. Got it.
Nice. Two more.

'D' or 'O'. I don't know
what that is, but it's a letter.

Do you think it's
a Spanish word? 'Ramo'?

Maybe.

'Roma'.
'Aroma'!

Ah! 'Aroma'!
We need an 'A'.

We need an 'A'.

Not happy.

So pissed off.

Excuse me.
Can you...

Is there a toilet?
We need to stop at a toilet.

If I don't go to the toilet, I won't
be able to complete the challenge

'cause I won't be able
to focus on what's going on.

I'll be too concerned
about my bladder.

I'm the exact same.
Come on. Let's find a toilet.

'Bonyas'? Banos?

Thank you.
Gracias.

Here. It's locked.

Oh, just come in here.

Oh!
Oh! Oh, no!

- Oh,.
- I told you, bro.

Hey, girls!
Hey, guys!

- Sup!
- Hey, hey!

- You're kidding me.
- I told you!

Did they get lost?

As we rock up,
we're seeing three teams

already halfway through
their floral arrangement

and then we see Pako and Mori
down at the coffee beans.

So we're thinking,
"What's going on?"

Come on.
You got this. Just get into it.

Grab a bag there.
The word is 'aroma'.

Yep.

Let's do it.
You can do this, girls.

Did you say 'aroma', guys?

We think it is.
We think so.

It might be different.
Just look for a word.

It's alright.
We'll find this word asap.

Yep. Yep.
Alright?

Oh, my God.
You got it.

I got it.
We got it.

'Aroma', girls. It's 'aroma'.
OK.

Go for it, babe.

Whoo!

Thank you. Thank you.

"Road Block.

"Who's ready to get served?"
Do you want me to do it?

Yeah.
OK, I'll do it.

A Road Block is a challenge

that only one team member
can complete

based on a cryptic clue.

In this Road Block,

one member from each team
must come here

to the Parque de la Bola

which is in the Comuna 13 district

where they're gonna taste
some local delicacies

specially prepared for them.

First course is a salad.

Sorry. It's an eyeball salad.

Then they're gonna move on
to the tripa de cerdo,

which is basically
pig's intestine and tongue.

Once they eat both meals
and complete them both,

they'll receive their next clue.

Look, it's a tough decision,

but for me, I'm actually
a bit more of an eyeball guy.

Oh, delicious.

Mmm-mmm! Yum.

Eugh!

"Eat the local Colombian meal
to receive your next clue."

Whoo!
Let's go.

Pako and Mori

have jumped into first place.

I guess you could say

they've been and gone.

'R'.
Yes, good job, Gabba.

Good job, sis. Good job.

- Yes! This is our break.
- This is our break.

We gotta hang onto this now.

If there's anything
I'm good at, it's eating,

so bring it on.

- OK, ready?
- Yep.

I'm moving up now.
You got it on?

Yeah, I've got it on.
OK.

Got it?
Yeah, push it forward.

Yep.
Got you, babe.

Hola.

Gracias, gracias.
Gracias.

Boys, there's...
We'll leave it on the table.

We'll leave it on the table.
Oh, yo! Mad, mad, mad.

We can have that. Yeah.
Really?

Swap yours around with the thing.
Swap it around.

Good luck, boys.
Oh, thank you.

We thought we would do a good deed

and asked Stuart and Glen

if they wanted to take
our flower bouquet up to the judge.

Cheers, bro. Appreciate it, hey?
Make sure it's all still.

Yep, yep. Walk slow, bro.

"Road Block."

"Who's ready to get served?"

I am! I'm ready.
You! Let's go.

Hello, sir.

Bend down. Bend down.

Slow, bro.

No worries. Thank you.

Stand there.

We looked at Glen and Stu

because they had arrived
probably 15 minutes after us.

Oh, yeah, they were well behind.

And they picked up Frankie
and Angel's flower arrangement.

Thank you, thank you.

"Eat a local Colombian meal
to receive your next clue."

OK, boom. Alright, easy. Let's go.
Let's go, let's go.

We were like, "Bloody hell."
Like, that is ridiculous.

I was so pissed off, to be honest.
I was so pissed off.

No, no, no.
OK.

Thank you, sir. Cheers!

Gracias.
Thank you.

"Road Block.
Who's ready to get served?"

Oh, Toni, that's eating. No?

Want me to... I'll do it.
I'll do it.

No, I'll do it.
I'll do it. I'm doing it.

OK.

Hello, mate.

Gracias.

The floral thing looked
pretty hard, to be honest.

Yeah, I agree.
An all we need is an 'A'.

Pressure was on because we knew
we were second last.

So the boys said 'aroma'
and we've got 'arom'.

I've got it, Gabby. Oh, no.
You've got the 'A'?

No?
No. False alarm.

Alright, keep going, keep going.

'A'!

Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Oh, yep. Road Block.
Road Block.

"Who's ready to get served?"
Flicka is. Let's do it!

Gracias.

Flick and Gabby are still here.

Hey?!

Hey, guys.
Hey.

See you, girls.
See you, guys. You got this.

Good luck, guys.

Wow!
Oof!

This is gonna be fun. Not.

Finding letters.
Wait, where's that little board?

Where's that little board gone
for the letters?

Here.
Oh.

So what? Are we just looking for...

We have to look for five letters.

Baby, don't do that.
Just look for it, babe.

But, like, what if
it's under other beans?

I know, but you gotta look first
for the beans.

My eyes are all blurry, hon.

You know me. I need glasses
at this time of the night.

Ooh, shit.

Alright.

Let's eat!

So when we arrived
at the eating challenge,

I had to sit down at
this beautiful outdoor restaurant.

Yes.
Ooh!

You got this.

The waiter brought over
these two plates of fine cuisine.

I believe it was eyeballs,
intestines...

And a tongue.
And... a scaly tongue.

OK.

Oh,!

That just squirted out.

- You got it?
- Gracias, amigos.

OK, let's go.

Look away, babe.
OK.

It doesn't even break.

What the hell are these?
Oh, not me.

Let's just say what we expected

and what we received were on
two totally different planets.

Lord, thank you for bringing us
safely. In your name we pray, amen.

Amen.
I'm in here.

Gotta pray before you eat.

Cool. Come on, Stuey.

Eating challenge I like.
Yeah.

I'm a big boy, you know what I mean.

I was feeling hungry too,
so I was like, alright, easy.

How you doing?
Hey, man.

Ooh!

Oh!

Looks like intestines.

I didn't even look at the food,

which is the greatest strategy,
I reckon,

because if I looked
at what I was eating,

I definitely would have been...

Yeah. Definitely.
Definitely.

Can you tell what it is or not?
Nuh.

That's tomatoes, bro.

I'm going like, "Ooh!"

Alright or what?
That was juicy as, bro.

Something just burst,
popped in my mouth.

Just can't believe how, like,
we found these three letters

and now it's hard
to find the last two.

We were sifting through coffee beans
for 45 minutes.

And it got dark.

I feel like we're not looking
at this point.

I feel like we're just...

...making it look like we're looking.

And we only had one headlamp.

So Jamus was searching
in one section, it was dark.

I was in another with light, so I
had to kind of, like, go back and...

I'm always just shining light,
aren't I?

Yeah, definitely.
Yeah.

I actually love it
when she's in this mood.

Even though we're in last place,
she's relaxed.

Well, there's no... There's
nothing I can do about it now.

Yeah, but honestly, I love it
when you're in this mood, you know.

Stuff it. I think I'm just gonna
take the time penalty.

OK.

We're gonna take that time penalty.

We're out.

And thankfully you made the call...
Well, hold on.

...To take a time...
Wasn't that a...

That was, like, a joint decision.

Jamus, you've decided to make...
Both of us.

...The call and take
the time penalty,

but we're at the end of the road.

Are we both making this call?
Yeah, but you said it.

Oh, see, that's what she does.
But I was thinking it.

No, no, no. I'm happy.
She wants to take the penalty too.

"Who's ready to get served?"

You are. "Eat a local Colombian meal
to receive your next clue."

Come on, babe. It's the last bit.
Last bit. Smash it.

Check, please.
Wait. I have to finish it.

Jump the gun.

I'm enjoying
these last few moments. Ohh.

Thank you, brother.

"Make your way on foot
to Fonda Familia 13

"at the top of Comuna 13
and find the Pit Stop."

Along the western fringes
of Medellin is Comuna 13,

once considered
a dangerous no-go area of the city.

This illegally built,
self-governing slum -

no council permission needed here -

has been slowly reinventing itself
through community projects

to become one of the most vibrant
communes in the city.

And it's the colourful
location for the Pit Stop

of the 11th leg of
The Amazing Race Australia.

"The last team may be eliminated."
OK, let's go.

You good, Flick?
Yeah.

Let's do it.

So arriving fourth at this challenge

means Toni and Heath
are nowhere to be seen

and we don't know
what could have happened.

And we eat everything or just the...

Do you gotta eat the salad?

Yep. Use the salad, Flick.

I vomited three or four times
in my mouth.

Oh!

So I had to swallow my spew
three times.

You can do it.

When you're seeing
your teammate struggle,

it was getting
quite defeating from my end

not being able to do anything.

Big chews. Use your chompers.

A different texture.

I knew what I was eating.
I knew it was an intestine.

I just... I knew it. I knew it.
I just didn't wanna say it.

Oh, that just...

Bit strong or what?

In my mouth, man.

Ugh!

Don't look at it.
Cut it in half. Don't look at it.

That's... That one's feral, bro.

The eyeball was the worst thing
I've ever eaten in my life.

Accompanied with lettuce,
tomato and a nice juice.

And potato. And potato. And potato.
Potato. Potato.

Oh. Just gonna...

Couple of chews, juice.

Heath, come, come.

Shit.

Shit!

No.

We kind of left probably
thinking we were in fourth.

But we got dreadfully lost.

Yeah, we were in fifth position
when we landed.

Yeah.

Small portion.

Wow.

You're getting there, bro.

That was a perfect strategy, you
know. Like, he just closed his eyes.

It's the last one, bro.

Check!

Well done, boys.

Thank you, thank you.

"Make your way on foot
to Fonda Familia 13,

"on top of the Comuna 13."

Alright, let's go,
let's go, let's go!

Thank you.
Thank you.

OK, come on.

Judge.
- You guys killed it.

Yes, thank you.

Thank you. Appreciate it.
Thank you, thank you.

Gracias.
Thank you.

Oh, hey, guys.
Was it tasty?

It was fricking disgusting.

"Hurry, the last team to check in
may be eliminated."

What does
it taste like, rank?

Mm-hm.
Want me to just not talk to you?

Mm-hm.
OK.

So, David, are you from here?

Yes. I am from here.
I'm born and raised in Comuna 13.

Oh? Down... Can I see your place
from here or no?

Yes. It's possible to see it.
Whereabouts is it?

Yeah, so it's over there.

You OK?

Not really.
Oh, I'm so sorry. Water?

No.
OK.

I can't put anything else in me.
I need to get it out.

"Take escalators
all the way to the top."

OK.

"From there, follow
the marked path to the Pit Stop."

Come on, babe.

Ah, the steps.

- Run, bro, run!
- Argh! Buckaroo!

Come on!

Do you want me to hold your bag?

Oh!

Come on, Mori!

Ooh! Yes!

Yes!

Yes!
Welcome to Medellin!

Thank you!
Yeah!

Oh, my God, I'm gonna vomit and poo.

Pako, Mori...

...you're the first team to check in!

You did it!

Oh! Oh, my gosh!

The boys are back in town.

We're back in town!

It's been a while but we're back.

Back on top. Congratulations.

You have won $5,000,
thanks to Andoo.

Which is the home
of Feel Good Living.

So congratulations. Thanks to Andoo.

Make yourself at home.
Yes!

Oh!
Oh, God!

Congrats, babe. We did this!

Let it out.
I'm not even sorry.

Just...

Just bite it. Ooh!

Ooh! Eww!

Oh, shivers, babe.
Did you need to do that?

Ooh, it's on my pants.

And my bag.

This would be nice with a dip.

Oh, Toni!

Are you alright, T?

Are you right?

Ohh!

Oh, she's vegan too.

Oh, really?
Oh, no.

Oh, Tones.

Sorry.

Oh, here. Don't lose that bit.

Oh, shit.

It's a good one. Swallow it.
Swallow it.

It's a brain.
It's chicken.

It's... Yep. Swallow. Tablet.

Yeah! Thank you!

Thank you.
Thank you very much.

Thank you.
I knew I was good at something.

How did Jamus eat it that quickly?
'Cause he's an animal.

"Make your way to Fonda Familia 13
at the top of Comuna 13

"and find the Pit Stop.

"Hurry, the last team
to check in may be eliminated."

Let's go!
Oh, there it is.

There it is, bro. I can see it.

Wow!

Even though I feel so defeated
right now, man.

That's incredible.

Don't feel defeated.

I'm sorry I let us down, eh?
No, don't apologise.

Don't apologise.

Come on, bro!

Welcome to Medellin!

Cheers, brother.
Thank you. Thank you.

Stu and Glennon, you are
the second team to arrive.

Bro...

Oh, mate!

However, you failed to complete
the Bunch Detour.

And you'll receive
a 15-minute penalty.

Ah.
OK.

Alright, well, please step
to the side of the mat.

The good news is
you've got a beautiful view.

I know! Jeez.

Oh, man. We didn't see that coming.
The penalty.

We didn't see that coming.
15-minute penalty.

15 minutes, man.

Welcome to Medellin.

Thank you.
Thank you. Gracias.

Angel and Frankie,
you are the third team to arrive.

Cool.

But...
Top three.

...You're the second team to check in.

Oh, why?

Penalty.
For what?

The flower thing.

But it is what it is.
Sorry, bro.

It's alright, bro. We didn't know.
It's alright, it's alright.

We didn't know.
It happens, you know.

We can't turn back time,
so we're gonna have to just...

15 minutes, eh? 15 minutes.
...Go with it.

Yeah.
Oh, my God!

Sorry, bros.

Good on you, guys. Second place.
Cheers. Thank you.

Well done.
Thank you.

Thanks, boys. See youse down there.
Alright, see youse down there.

Uff. Well, this is not awkward
at all, is it?

Fast-forward to all
the latest can't-miss extras,

Yeah, try and not, like, taste it.

Good job. Good job. Good job.

Flick, like, knuckled down,
cut up her food really small.

She was doing some
like taking a pill

and then some was just chewing
really a lot.

Oh! Oh, don't!

But over the time...
It's like going to war.

It's like going to war.
...She finally got there.

Thank you.

Good work, Flick.

Oh, bro.
Good work.

Can I throw it up now?

It's OK.

Oh, I'm sorry, Tones.

I'm sorry, babe.

Toni, it's alright, babe.

Yep.

Alright, let's go.

Oh, that was just burp.
Yep.

How long do we have?

About 13 minutes, saying.

Hey, boys!
Hey, good work!

Good work.
Hello.

Nice.
- Hi. Hey.

Hello.
Oh, nice.

Oh, my God.
Hey.

Welcome to Medellin!
Thank you. It's beautiful.

Chelsea, Jamus,
you are the fourth team to arrive.

Thank you.
Thank you.

However...
Yes.

Yeah.

...You failed to complete
the Brew Detour...

Yes.

...Which means you have
a 10-minute penalty.

So, please step to the side
of the mat.

Thank you.
Welcome aboard, guys.

Hey, boys, what did you do?

We're in the same boat.
Oh, you did it too?

Yeah, we're in the same boat.

We got 15 minutes.
Yeah.

I just want to...
I want to beat their time penalty.

I don't want to go out.
Yeah, I know.

Well...

Just think how much fun
we've had anyway, you know?

Oh.

Come on, babe. Two more bits.
Come on!

Come on. Let's cheer her on. Yeah!

Come on, Tones!

Good stuff. Check, please.

Oh, babe, I'm so proud of you.

Thank you so much.

Well done, babe.
Thank you.

You're an absolute legend.
Thank you.

Thank you so much, sir.

Five, four, three, two, one.

Stu and Glennon,
your penalty time is up.

Please get your backpacks
and step back onto the mat.

Welcome. Welcome to Medellin.

Thank you.
Yeah, my brother!

Stu and Glennon,
you are the third team to check in.

Oh! Oh, first time
in top three, bro.

Oh.
Well done, guys.

Please step out of here.
Thank you.

Go take a break. Enjoy the views.

Well done, boys.
Well done, bro.

Good luck.
Oh, thanks.

Good work, boys.
Well done, well done.

Welcome to Medellin.

Thank you.
Thank you!

Flick and Gabby,
you are the fifth team to arrive...

Yeah.
...But the fourth team to check in.

Yeah, that'll do after today.

Yep.
Yep.

Oh, babe.

Up here.
OK. Quick.

We're last, last, last.

Chelsea and Jamus...
Stop it.

...Please pick up your bags
and step back on the mat.

Yes!

Ohhh.

Chelsea and Jamus,
you are the fifth team to check in.

Yes!

Have you learnt to just not give up
in this race now?

Absolutely.
I've been telling you that.

He always tells me not to give up,
but I just...

I worry, I panic and I should
listen more often, I think.

It's the second time, like...
Did you hear what I said?

Yeah, yeah.
I should listen more often to you.

OK, yeah.
Well, congratulations. Fifth place.

Oh, man! Thank you!
Thank you.

Thank you so much. Thanks, mate.
Thank you. Thank you.

Ooh.

We're last.
We're out.

Welcome to Medellin.

Thank you.
Thank you so much. Thank you.

Heath and Toni...
Number six.

...You're the last team to check in.

Yeah.

It's alright.

Sorry. Sorry.
I'm so proud of this woman.

She's an inspiration to me
and hopefully Australia now.

Shut up.
Seriously.

Drop your bags.

She's the best woman in the world.

Like, the things that
she's gone through the last year

and it's just remarkable to see her
do the things she's done

in the last however many weeks.

Ticked off some things. Yeah.
Yeah, definitely.

Well, this is a predetermined...

Yes! I told you!

...Non-Elimination Leg.

Yes!

Well done, babe.
Well done for not giving up.

Oh, I'm so proud of you.

Oh! Thanks, Scotty.

Enjoy it. Race hard
and go get a drink.

Enjoy that view.
Thanks, mate.

Thank you.
Well done.

Thank you, mate.
Nice to meet you, mate.

Thank you.
Thank you.

You never want to give up
in this race.

Like, I think you never know

what's gonna happen
around the corner,

so you always have
that tiny bit of hope

that it will be a Non-Elimination
and we had luck on our side.

Yeah, we did.

Next time on
The Amazing Race Australia,

teams travel to Cartagena.

Muy bien!

...Where they'll need a cool head...

Oh, sh...

...and fast feet.

You need to watch her
and I need to watch him.

But for one team...

Oh, no. End music.

...It will be...

Did you guys come through the tunnel?

Oh!

...The last dance.

Where's this tunnel?
