Temptation Island (2019–…): Season 4, Episode 1 - Don't Tempt Me - full transcript

Four new couples take a journey to Temptation Island to see if their relationship is meant to be.

Season after season,

couples have come
to "Temptation Island"

"Are we
really meant to be together?"

And season after season,
couples have left

the island with many
different answers.

I did something very stupid.

I do forgive you.

Some realized
they were better off alone.

The Erika that came into this?

It's not the same
Erika right now.

For that reason,
I'll be leaving by myself.

The things that you did
that I had to sit and watch...

I know that I need to
leave the island alone.

Others met somebody new.

Oh, my God, I am so happy.

While others
left more in love...

I just love you
and I want to leave with you.

Ready to start
a new chapter together.

- Will you marry me?
- Yes, of course.

Will you make me
the luckiest man?

A thousand times, yes.

And now...

What did we just
get ourselves into?

I can't believe
that this is happening.

Four new couples have come
to "Temptation Island" in hopes

of finding the answers
they so desperately seek.

When are we going to wake up
from this dream/nightmare?

I don't know
which one it is yet.

They're acting super single.

You just risked
hurting me like that.

That's a narcissist.

He is the epitome
of a narcissist.

I'm fighting for something that

I don't have a chance
at winning.

- I don't want that anymore.
- Ew, ew.

I don't even want
to ever speak to him again.

I just think
it'll be for the best.

- His behavior was disgusting.
- Wow.

I should probably
stop thinking about him.

What did I just do?

We came here to work
on loving ourselves.

But I ended up
loving someone else.

Find out as we begin
a once-in-a-lifetime

journey here
on Temptation Island.

- Hi!
- How are you?

- Where are you guys from?
- We're from Seattle.

And we're from New York.

And they were saying they've
been together three years.

We've been together, like,
five and you guys...

- Seven.
- One and a half.

- Year and a half.
- Oh, okay.

I'm feeling like, damn,
this has really hit me now

that we're really going to
start embarking on this journey.

Yeah. I'm just
asking myself, like,

what did we just
get ourselves into?

- To new adventures.
- To growth.

- Yes.
- To Temptation Island!

Whoo-hoo!

I'm super ready.
I'm ready to see

what challenges come our way

within ourselves,
and our relationship.

- Just bring it on.
- Bring it on.

I like that.

I don't know whether
it's, like, the alcohol,

or being on the ocean,
and the boat, or the nerves,

but I definitely have, like,
a little pit in my stomach.

- My name is Edgar.
- And I'm Gillian.

And we've been together
almost three years.

We always have each other,

you know, whatever happens,
you know I love you.

We met in college.
We were college sweethearts.

And I love how he's
always there for people.

He has a huge heart.

So, I feel like
everyone he meets

is really affected by that.

When I'm with her,
I feel like we bring out

the best in each other.

And then she's
absolutely stunning.

So, you know, it wasn't
too hard to fall for her.

- You excited to go?
- I am really excited.

- How are you feeling?
- I'm okay.

- Yeah?
- I'm feeling nervous.

We have been at a crossroads
in our relationship

for a while now,
and I want to make sure

that we both have
the opportunity to explore

other people so we're
secure in what we have.

Are you going to act
as, like, a single person

in this scenario
or are you going to...

Not completely,
because I'm emotionally

still attached to you.

Right, right.

See, that's where I'm, like,
confused.

Like, it's just, like,
a lot of blurred lines

because I feel like,
I don't know,

how, like, "single"
we're supposed to be.

If I met Edgar when I was 25,
I think we would have already

been married by now,
but I don't feel confident

settling down with the person
I've been with since I'm 17.

So, if I can use this experience
on Temptation Island to solidify

that, yes, like, I am ready
for a committed relationship

at my age, then great,
I can give him that answer.

But if the answer ends up
being no, I'm not ready,

then I want to give him
that answer as well.

I want her to either show me
that she wants to work

on this or that she still needs
some of her own growing to do.

So, I want her to find
those answers for herself.

- It's gonna be fine.
- You really think so?

I hope so.

We're gonna go into this with
an open heart, an open mind.

- Yeah.
- But not too open.

- I hear that.
- Okay.

I'm picking up
what you're putting down.

Okay.

- I'm Hania.
- And I'm Ash,

and we've been together
for about a year and a half.

Mm, this is one of my favorites.

- It's kind of like a sage.
- It is a sage.

- It is a sage.
- It is a sage.

- It's a sage.
- Well done.

What drew me to Ash, it was
just her outgoing personality.

She is very caring
and cares for me.

When I finally got to spend
time and, like, talk to him,

it was really hard to feel
anything else but what I do.

We're both going to see

if we're making the right choice

in staying together
thousands of miles apart.

Yeah.

Santa Fe, it's a small town

and there are not
a lot of opportunities.

And so, Ash decided
to move to New York,

but I'm really worried
we won't survive her move.

I would like to explore
maybe an open relationship,

and I think this experiment,
in particular,

would help us to see
if that's feasible.

How would me being involved
with other people affect you?

Like, do you think
that that's something

you'd be comfortable with?

I think that's what
we're going to find out.

I want to know if
I'm respected and appreciated

in this, because I think
he trusts me

and I may not necessarily
totally trust him.

You have to be open to
your part of the experiment.

It's not just,
like, put Hania up to,

you know,
see if he'll cross a line.

Whoo!

- Is that Mark?
- This is crazy!

It's so real now.

Seeing Mark waving us
down just kind of brings

everything to reality,
like, this is real.

- We're really here.
- This is real.

There's no going back.

Tanya and Ash, right?

- Yes.
- Nice to meet you.

- Nice to meet you.
- Been waiting for you guys.

- So glad to be here.
- You look great.

I'm feeling so many
things at once that

it's a little bit overwhelming.

- Lascelles, right?
- Yes.

I'm Mark. Nice to meet you.

- It's a pleasure.
- Pleasure's mine.

- Hi, Mark. How are you?
- Pleasure.

There's a lot to lose.

It's a huge risk
coming to this island.

We have seven years
of our lives on the line.

You guys must be Iris and Luke,
is that right?

- That's exactly right, Mark.
- I'm glad to see you.

- Hi. Nice to meet you.
- Welcome, welcome, welcome.

Nice to see you, my friend.

Who knows
what can really happen?

And it's just kind
of freaking scary.

- Hi!
- Welcome.

- Nice to meet you both.
- Nice to meet you.

- Hi, Gillian.
- Hi.

Nice to see you.
Edgar, a pleasure.

Welcome. Welcome. Welcome.

I just can't stop thinking
about that moment when, like,

those girls are going to be,
like, chasing after Edgar

and, you know, being
all assertive or whatever.

Vice versa.

I'm just
bracing myself for that.

Let me be the first to welcome
you to Temptation Island,

are you all ready

to begin the next chapter
of your relationships?

- Yes.
- Yeah, absolutely.

- Let's do it.
- Yes, we are.

Good. Because it wasn't
a rhetorical question.

I'm glad you answered that.
Let's go. Come with me.

I'm definitely realizing
we're in pretty deep

and I am getting very scared.

I'm starting to think
that maybe it was a mistake

to come to Temptation Island.

- Here's one of our villas.
- Oh! Wow!

- Oh, snap.
- Jeez.

- Look at the view.
- You like it?

- Yes.
- Wow.

Let's have a seat
and have a little chat.

- What do you say, huh?
- Yes. All right.

- This place is magical.
- Before this journey begins,

I wanted to just take a moment
and chat with you guys.

In a nutshell, why are you here?

Lascelles, why don't you start?

Right now,
we're at a crossroads.

We want to take the next step.

And before we do that,

we want to make sure
that we're our true soulmates.

- I'm Lascelles.
- And I'm Ashley,

and we've been together
for seven years.

With Ashley, I scored big time.

I really wanted, like,
a best friend who I can love,

and Ashley's been
everything and more.

There's so many things
I love about Lascelles.

He's very down-to-earth
and outgoing.

He has, like, a creative mind,
and he's very unique.

That's why we're connected.

- Tied together.
- Yes.

Like, you think this is
a mistake on our end?

I have no idea.
I don't... really do not know.

The biggest issue,
I think, in our relationship is

I'm dependent on Lascelles,
he's dependent on me.

So, after, like, seven years
being together

literally every single day,

we kind of got a little bit

comfortable with each other.

Don't forget the reason why
we're going on this island is

for self-growth for myself,
for you, our relationship.

Try to build it better
than it is right now,

you know what I mean?

I think Temptation Island
will kind of

test our love and, like,
see how strong our love is

because the next step
in our relationship

would be eventually get
engaged and start a family.

I would say the main
obstacle that's stopping

that is we haven't had
an opportunity to be

with anybody else, really
go out on any dates.

So, we don't know what
life is without each other.

We're strong individuals,
we're a strong couple.

Nothing can break us apart,
literally.

It's super important for me

to see her grow
from this experience.

I think it will take our
relationship a lot further

and we'll be able
to take the next step.

So, I have a lot of faith

- that we can get through this.
- Me too.

Come here.

How about you guys?
How are you feeling now

as opposed to when
you first got here?

I feel a little bit more
settled in, not as nervous.

I'm sure the nerves will
kick in a little bit more

as the process goes on.

Luke, you doing good?

It's definitely going
to be hard to leave my girl

and I'm sure the same
for all the rest of the guys,

but we're going to do
the best we can,

come out on the other
side growing strong.

- I'm Luke.
- And I'm Iris,

and we've been together
for about five years.

Luke is the one.

It was kind of love
at first sight for me,

and I still get butterflies
whenever I'm around him.

This girl's got the whole
package and beyond,

even just the caring
sweetness and everything,

like, she's just frickin'
drop-dead gorgeous.

- Are you scared?
- I'm ready.

I'm ready to embrace
the challenge.

I just don't want to lose you.

The first year that we started
dating, we broke up twice.

I had a hard time trusting Luke

because I would find text
messages from other girls,

and that made me
really insecure.

I just don't want either
of us to get tempted.

I want to make it out with you.

Iris is the party queen.

She gets all this other
love and attention from guys.

That's what really drew me
back to texting other girls,

just because I'm feeling
jealous and insecure,

which isn't a good way to cope.

Honestly, really, the stakes
are super high for us.

And, you know, if either
of us cheats on each other,

this is, like, do or die.

Like, this is what
we're going here for.

I think the major issues
in our relationship are,

one, my trust issues with him.

Two, him not being able to get
emotionally vulnerable with me.

And three, I don't think

Luke shows me
that he loves me enough.

Iris doesn't deserve to feel

that I don't love her
because I really do.

I just really have
a hard time expressing

the emotions I have for love.

You're the one for me,
so we're going to stick with it.

It's going to be really hard,
but I love you.

I love you too.

All right, guys.

You came to this island
because you're at a crossroads.

Each of you
have serious questions

about the future
of your relationship.

And in order to find
the answers to those questions,

you've come here
to embark on a journey

where you'll be single
and you'll date other people.

As you could probably imagine,

I know this process pretty well.

I have seen a lot of couples
come to this island,

and I'm telling you,
the ones who drop their guard,

who open up,
who are not afraid to be honest

and vulnerable,
those are the ones

who end up leaving this
island in a better place.

With all that being said,

what would this day be
without a toast, right?

I was excited to start
this process,

but inside I'm thinking,
"Holy shit.

This is realer than
I could have even imagined."

Cheers.

Okay, I've showed
you this beautiful villa,

this sunset, which is the first

of so many you ladies
are going to get to see

from this balcony.

But gentlemen,
you're probably wondering

where you're going to be
living, huh?

Yeah.

Don't worry,
I got you hooked up.

Please do.
With high ceilings.

Well, let's take this with us,

and why don't we
check it out? Come on.

- Holy...
- God!

- Come on in, boys.
- Wow, this is crazy.

Welcome home.

- I can't believe this.
- Look at this door.

What a minute.
Wait a minute.

I'm upset now.

This is, like, amazing.

Isn't it beautiful
at night out here?

It's gorgeous.

Guys, grab seats,
make yourself comfortable.

That was a deep breath there,
Luke.

I'm tripping balls right now,
man.

Couples, now you've seen
where you'll be living.

It's time to see
who you'll be living with.

Damn. Damn!

Oh, my God,
I almost have a heart attack.

Let them come out.

Oh, the suspense.

Oh, my God.

- I'm dead.
- Hot damn, okay.

Oh, no.

Oh, my God.

- I'm dead.
- Hot damn, okay.

Oh, no.

Wow.

Couples, standing before you
are 12 single men

and 12 single women who've
all come to this island

to find love with one of you.

Now, maybe making
a connection with one

of these singles will
help you answer the question,

"Have I already found
the love of my life?

"Or are they standing
right here in front of you?"

Oh, my gosh.
Don't tempt me.

Oh!

Are you ready?
Here we go.

- Model. Work it!
- Model.

Hey, my name is Trace,
and I'm a model.

That means with me by your side,

you'll never go out of style.

- Ooh!
- I like that.

Oh!

- Show me some muscless.
- Show me the muscle.

What's up, ladies?

I'm James, I'm 25,
hailing from the Sunshine State.

And if you think I'm a big guy,

wait until you see... my heart.

It's even bigger.

- Calm down, baby, calm down.
- I am...

I'm Alexa,
I'm a 23-year-old Jersey Girl.

And your man's going to scream
more than just,

"Hey, Alexa" real soon.

I love it.

Hey. I respect it.
I respect it.

- Oh, my God.
- What's up? What's up?

What's up?

Hey, I'm Andrew,
I'm a 29-year-old market

researcher from Florida,
and I can't wait to get to know

you ladies, because it's my job.

Hey, check
the market research, man.

You can check the 'Gram,
check the 'Gram, man.

Hey, I know exactly
what she's searching for.

- It's me.
- You don't even know her, dog.

Five years deep, dog.

You guys kind
of look like cousins.

- Oh, no.
- You guys could be cousins.

He tried.

My name is Madelyn.
I'm 23.

I'm from a small town
in Georgia.

Everyone calls me Juicy,

and I think your boyfriend
will find out why.

Oh!

Okay...

Hey, Temptation Island,
let's go, let's go.

We here. We here.

Whoo!

I'm Ray Rock.
I'm from the Bronx, New York.

As you can see,
I get everyone wildin' out.

But just think what
I could do with your lady?

- I see you.
- Go ahead, try, bro.

I see your girl, bro.
I see her, bro.

You better hold on to her tight.

Y'all gonna break up after this.

Please. Try it.

You better keep laughing, you're
gonna be crying after this.

Hey, guys, I'm Karyna.

I'm 27 years old
and a therapist,

I'll be a listening ear,
a shoulder to lean on,

and I'm not afraid
to get a little deep.

- We'll find out.
- What do you mean by "deep"?

Hello, ladies, fellas,
I'm Taylor,

I'm 24 from South Florida.

I hope you enjoy sitting
next to your girlfriends now,

'cause next time you see them,
they'll be sitting with me

telling me how shitty you are.

Good luck, boy.

It's not always double entendre,
sometimes it's straight up.

Hey, guys, I'm Kryslyn.

I'm from Dallas
and I'm a tarot card reader.

One of you coming home with me
is definitely in the cards.

- Boom!
- Okay, okay.

I'm Blake, I'm 26.

I know, I may
look like a bad boy,

but in the Navy,
I saved a man's life.

And now,
I'm here to change yours.

Whoo!

I don't know
if that's happening.

Hi, guys. My name's Marissa
and I'm 26 years old,

I'm a real estate agent
from North Carolina

- and just...
- Me too.

Oh, nice. Just a heads up:
I'm used to making offers

that people just can't refuse.

All right, that's pretty good.

What about
closing the deal, girl?

- All right, calm down.
- Oh, I'm not...

I'm Tevin, 28 years old,
and I work at the airport.

And, ladies,
I'm going to make sure

you make your next
flight... home with me.

- Oh!
- Hey.

Hey, I'm Liv,
like you're livin',

A 22-year-old
roller skater from Los Angeles.

Sorry, ladies,
but one of your boyfriends

is rolling out of here with me.

All right, I dig it.

Let's see you do a flip.

I gotta say
I'm pretty impressed.

Props for that. Yeah.

My name's Tommy.

I'm 24 years old
and back in California,

my job is to fight fires.

But here on the island,
I'm looking for someone

to set my heart ablaze.

- Aw!
- Oh!

He's got really pretty eyes.

Okay, singles, thank you.

Great job,
you guys can head on out.

We'll be seeing all of you
very soon.

I swear
I dreamt about one of you.

About one of us?

- Bye.
- Seein' you soon, ladies.

We have nothing to worry about.

Well, now you've
met our singles,

and although their
one-liners are fun and flirty,

I can assure you
that these singles

are taking this very seriously.

They're on their own journey,
and they're hoping

to make a deep connection
with one of you.

Look, I know you have
a lot to think about

and you're going to get
a chance to do that tonight...

in your separate villas.

Damn.

Just a small taste of what
it's like to be on your own

without the comfort
of your partner.

Don't worry, it's not goodbye.

It's only goodnight.

You'll all be back
together in the morning.

So, why don't you take
a moment to say your goodnights

and then you can head off
to your separate villas, okay?

No.

- See you tomorrow.
- Sleep well.

I love you.

Bye, puppy.

Sleep well.
Sweet dreams, okay?

I feel super excited
about this journey.

But right now, these guys
are all I got.

We're all going through
very similar things.

These are my bros,
so we're all in this together

and we've gotta get
through this.

- Cheers.
- Cheers, brothers.

- Cheers, guys. To growth!
- To growth.

- To growth.
- Yes, sir.

How do you guys feel about
having, like, the singles

be our new roommates
and, like, our...

Could be, like,
our new boyfriends?

I'm nervous.

I'm nervous, but I'm excited
to really get to know them

and see how things go.

- Well, good morning.
- Hey, Mark.

- Hi.
- Nice to see you all.

Nice to see you.

Listen, I realize that a lot
has happened in a short time,

and I thought you might
have had a restless night.

So, I brought the guys in to
help put your mind at ease.

Let's see.

Oh, my God, is this
happening right now?

How we doing, how we doing, huh?

Welcome, welcome, welcome.

- My heart is racing.
- Pinch me. It's not real.

It's a little scary

knowing we're about
to meet the singles.

There's a lot of...

painfully tight pants

and really big muscles.

They're right there.

Ah... Oh, my goodness.

Ladies, you came here for love.

Now, whether it's confirming
the love you already have

or finding something new
that's right here,

don't be afraid
to make connections.

- Cool?
- Yeah!

I'll check in
with you guys later.

Have a great day,
get to know one another.

Drinks are upstairs, let's go.

- Okay.
- Let's go, let's go.

It definitely makes me
nervous to think

this is the start
of my "single life."

I think we should
start with a shot.

We got boozy eats
and drinks, son.

It's been a long time

since I've been around
single men like that.

I work 10 days a month,

so the rest of the time
I spend traveling.

So, like, not
to be crude, but, like,

how do you have
the money to travel

and do all these
extravagant things?

Firefighters in California
make a good bit of money.

- Really?
- I mean, I just bought a house.

If I'm interested in a woman,
I'm going to go out of my way

to let them know
I'm interested in them.

And the ladies love
that I'm a firefighter.

Before that, I was traveling,
still traveling, so...

I love it.
I love it.

So, what makes you come here?

Caught him texting girls
from his past

and it's made me
really uncomfortable.

Oh, no.

It's kind of been like a thing
that keeps happening.

Like, he'll stop
for, like, a few months,

and then I'll catch it again.

So, it makes me feel insecure.

Well, you shouldn't be.
I mean, look at you.

Thank you.

Whatever he's doing
is incorrect,

so he doesn't know what he has.

But he thinks
he knows what he has

because everyone wants you.
You've got to deal with that.

Oh, thank you. Yeah.

I consider myself tempting
because once my shirt comes off,

my shyness is completely out
of the door

and anything is possible.

You're the most attractive
one here, in my opinion.

I have to go outside because
the sweating is happening,

- I'm so sorry.
- I'm just unbuttoning my shirt.

I have never been around

this many single people
trying to win my heart.

Twelve at a time and they all
seem so lovely so far.

It's... It's going to be fun.

Take it off, baby!
Take it off.

You have any bartending
experience with that?

- Maybe.
- That's a good pour.

Okay, I'm gonna have some more.

You should've heard
last night, it was so quiet.

Like, it was just the four
of us guys just relaxing.

We were just thinking
about like, okay,

trying to process
all the things,

'cause a lot happened last
night. I was nervous because,

you know, you want
to make a good impression.

You don't want to look like a
weakling in front of the guys.

And they were
trying to get you down.

They were trying.

I'm good because
I'm very secure of who I am.

That's good.
Now I'll look.

Right? You've gotta be.
Self confidence's something

I had to learn on my own.

I feel like I'm definitely
a pursuer.

Because I'm just very like,

"I know what I want.
Let's get it."

Like, I don't have time to play.

You guys are fun to talk with.

Talk to us about why
exactly you're here.

We've been together for a while,
and she doesn't know

if she needs to have the chance
to be single

and see what else is out there,

and some stuff has happened.

So... I also am trying to
figure out as to whether or not,

you know, Gillian is the person
I want to be with right now.

I am not a man stealer,

but here is a different story.

So, if you're coming here and
you know what's going to happen,

then... it might happen.

- I'm sweating, aren't I?
- It looks hot.

Sweating looks hot?

It emphasizes
everything it needs to.

Look at that.

- Okay, yeah.
- Okay.

I actually learned
from my friends

how to do the bachata,
the salsa...

- I love...
- So I got you, ready?

The confidence,

the swagger from New York,
the East Coast side.

You can tell by
a woman's body language

if they're interested or not.
They just give you that look,

the smile, the little wink.
You gotta play in their game.

- I think we're good now.
- That's it, that's it.

That is not for me.
I'm so sorry.

Like, he seems like
a fine person,

but just... that is not my type.

A little something, a little
preview. That's a preview.

- So, the windows open...
- Yeah.

And your face popped up.
It was vibrant

and it was seeing
your eyes from far away,

and being like
"She has a story," right?

Which you're telling me now.

It's really interesting
how you caught that.

Life's... it's about wavelengths,
you know?

And that's not me saying,
"I want to hit on you."

It's more so I want to know you
as a person.

And then kind of go from there.

Mike is such a sweet,
you know, kind, caring person.

I really think he's genuine,

down to earth, and I can't wait

to really get to know him.

We'll get a lot of
conversations, I promise.

- You think?
- I promise.

- It's a deal? Shake on it?
- I'll pinky promise.

That's even more. Blow on it.
All right.

I got to ask.

Whose idea was it
to come to the island?

- You or your man?
- It was mine.

- I have a lot of questions.
- Uh-huh.

There's a couple of red
flags in my head that are like,

maybe he kind of just
wants to do his own thing.

Like, girls will hit
on him next to me,

but I'll be introduced
as a friend.

- Yeah.
- And it's like...

He introduces you as a friend...

- "This is my friend, Ash."
- Mm.

I think we all came here
for a reason, and in my eyes

Ash came here to open
that part of herself up and,

you know, see if she can have
a better connection

with someone else.

Even though he may not be

feeling his end of the deal,
and this love, you know,

you're giving all that you have

and you're not holding back,
which is the way to live.

Thank you for coming
to this journey.

And, like, going down
this path with us.

I'm always here to talk,
you know.

I'm a little distracted,
I think.

I'm such a, like, out of sight,

out of mind
kind of person and, like,

I want to be in
the here and now.

And if you're not here and now,
then I have a hard time

giving you the attention
that you want.

Immediately was thinking, like,
"Okay, Kryslyn is somebody

"I could ask on a date."

And Juicy did give
direct attention to me

during the reveal, and so...

I'm looking to maybe
explore that a little bit too.

I'm almost worried for her now.

She brought me here to
see how trustworthy I am,

but she did not know what
she's getting herself into.

I'm like, yo,
if you cheat on me, then almost,

I have free reign.

If I were one
of the girlfriends,

I would definitely
be freaking out.

All the girls are hot.
All the guys are hot.

I would definitely not
bring my boyfriend here.

Rules are meant to be broken.

- Am I right? Like...
- Whoa!

What's up, what's up,
what's up everybody!

- Guys, you had a good time?
- We had a great time!

- Amazing.
- Yeah!

Unfortunately, I got to say

we got to wrap this party up.

Guys, you can take off.

Thank you
for entertaining the ladies.

You set up a great party

and it looks like
it just was perfect.

- Thank you.
- Thank you, Mark.

- Goodnight!
- Bye!

I had to wrap up the party,
but you guys aren't done.

As a matter of fact,
I've got a wonderful dinner

prepared for you
with your boyfriends.

Finally!

And that dinner is going to be
here at your villa, so...

- Yay!
- All right.

- Bye.
- Bye, Mark.

Yay! I can't wait
to see the boys.

Ah! I'm, like, crying.

Bon appétit, my love.

Missed you, baby.

What do we say, family?
How's dinner?

- Delicious.
- Come join us.

- Come on in.
- Yes.

Here's to a lovely dinner.

Cheers, cheers, cheers.

I've really been waiting
for this moment

because up until now,
it's a whirlwind.

I was looking forward
to just having a moment

to just chop it up
with you guys.

Jillian and Edgar,
I'm gonna start with you.

How are you feeling right now?

Where are you at, emotionally?

Um, I am feeling better now
that I'm with Edgar.

It was definitely
so weird to, like,

wonder what
he was doing all day.

So, it's making me feel
a little uneasy

that I don't get to see
the whole story right now.

Is trust a big issue
for the two of you?

We have in the past
both broken the trust.

- Both of you?
- Yeah, both of us.

Yeah, it's definitely taken
a toll on our relationship.

Edgar, have you guys
made any, like,

rules of how you're
going to approach this?

I think we both agree
that after a kiss,

we can gauge as
to whether or not there's

physical chemistry there,
and anything beyond that

isn't really necessary.

- Okay. Thanks, you guys.
- Thank you.

Hania and Ash, why are you here?

What do you want?

I want to know if I'm making
the right decisions.

- About your future?
- About my future, about love.

I want a little guidance
to make the right decision.

I need to know...

if I can make
long distance work.

And Hania, do you think there's
a way to make that work?

I think there's a way.

Yeah. I don't mean
to be cliché, but...

where there's a will,
there's a way.

And I'm so willing.

Okay.

I love you.

Ashley and Lascelles,
whose idea was it to come here?

- Yours, Ashley?
- It was my idea, yeah.

- Why?
- Because, um...

Okay, sorry.

You got it, Ashley.
You got this.

We're here.

Today we saw the singles

and there was one guy
that brought me by the pool.

And we had, like,
the best conversation ever.

I felt like an emotional
energy connection, like...

Everything he said was, like,
everything I wanted to hear,

like, we have that bond.

How does that make you feel,
Lascelles?

It's upsetting. I mean,

I wish I can share
more emotions, tears.

But that's just not who I am.

I don't want to force
anything that's not real.

Okay. Boy, I have
so much to say to you.

I'm gonna just trust that I
might get a chance to say it

- another time.
- You will. We'll have time.

Iris and Luke,
how are you feeling?

I hoped throughout
our whole relationship

that he could
open up his emotions.

And I feel like basically
I'm hurting for him.

Because I feel like his emotions
are trapped within himself,

and I don't think
that's a way to live.

What's the problem?

I've just, like,
never really seen Luke cry.

I've seen him cry once,
and it wasn't really to me.

Are you saying that you know
him and you love him,

but you don't know that
he's showing you all of him?

Yeah.

It stems back to the family
and how broken up

a lot of things are
in that regard.

You say the word "family"
and I see you get choked up.

Yeah. Yeah.

Iris, is this more what you're
talking about right here?

Yeah. And I feel like
we're about to just, like...

I was about to see it.

Look, you all came here
with questions, right?

And I promise you,
you're going to get answers.

I cannot promise they're
going to be to the questions

that you came here with.

And are you prepared
for the possibility

that your life
could change forever,

regardless of
who you leave with,

if you even leave
with anyone at all?

This may be the last
time you hold each other

and you're together as a couple

before you leave this island.

And for some of you,
it's possible that tonight

when you kiss is the last
time you guys will ever kiss.

So, my suggestion to you is...

Man, if there's something
you haven't said

because you're afraid,
you wanna hurt

somebody's feelings or whatever,

don't leave without saying it.

I'll be back in 10 minutes,
okay?

- Thank you.
- Cheers.

- Cheers.
- One last toast.

- How are you feeling?
- I don't know.

I'm feeling a lot
of emotions right now.

You know, you're my best friend.

You're the love of my life.
I can only see you in my future.

I just want you
to become truly independent.

Really discover who you are,
and then you'll get to see

what I bring to the table,
what I'm lacking.

And the same for me.
You know, kind of...

We have a lot.
We have a lot of potential.

Wel, yeah. And I know
you sacrifice a lot for me

and stuff like that.

And I know the emotion is in
you, but maybe it takes like...

someone else to bring
that emotion in you,

- if that makes sense.
- Yeah.

I really want you to have
an amazing experience

and have a good time.

Always think about us, no matter
what you're doing, you know.

- Of course.
- 'Cause seven years is so much.

You're, like,
the love of my life.

I don't want to lose you at all.

I love you, man.
I love you so much.

This is only the beginning.

- We have a lot.
- Many blessings to come.

Absolutely.

- I'm proud of you tonight.
- Thank you.

Yeah, I... like,
that was really good.

I know it's hard for you
to get emotional, especially

in front of people and whatnot,
but that meant a lot.

I'm already... I'm opening up,
like,

this is what I'm trying to do.

This is the only side
of me I feel like

- I really need to work on and...
- And trust.

- And what?
- And the trust.

And the trust. I mean,
the trust is, you know...

I'm going to be able
to hold that down.

The biggest part of the growth

is really just going to be
opening up.

- It's exciting to see.
- Yeah.

Cannot wait to see
you in the end.

I hope throughout the whole
journey, everything remains cool

and it's just growth
from here on out.

But this is going to be
goodbye, baby.

- I'm not going to see you.
- It's not goodbye.

- It's just goodbye for now.
- Goodbye for now.

I need you to really
dig into yourself...

- I will.
- And find out what you want.

And if you do
want to be with me.

I know right now
that I want to be with you,

and I know that I want to be
with you at the end of this.

I want you to be happy
with or without me.

I hope it's with, but...

- Are you scared?
- I am scared.

- Me too.
- It's okay.

I'm trying to be so brave,

and even though I did meet
someone who is really nice

today, like, as a friend, like,
none of them compared to you.

I met someone too who is
good as a friend, you know.

But none of them
compared to you.

Like, you are so much
cuter and sexier

and you are just... you get me.

You understand who I am.

And I'm trying
to have an open mind

and an open heart, 'cause I know

that's what we're
here to do, you know.

Like I... I don't want this
to be a waste of our time.

We're putting
everything on the line.

I just feel I'm cutting off,
like, a limb.

Like, a part of who I am.

Yeah, okay.

Okay, couples,

I need you over here with me.

- I love you.
- I love you, too.

Gentlemen,
you're going to come with me.

Ladies,
you're going to stay here

and everything's
going to be okay.

Come on, boys, let's go.

Ladies, I'll see you soon.

I love you so, so much.

It was really sad
saying bye to Gillian.

She's grappled with these
questions as to whether

or not she should be
alone in her 20s.

If you really are questioning
it, then maybe this isn't

what you need right now,
and that's fine.

But I'm hopeful
that we'll leave together.

I love you so much.

It's just too difficult for me
right now to even fathom

what could possibly be

if we were to not leave
the island together.

Ladies, take care of each other,

I'll check in with you soon.

- Be good.
- You too.

All right, boys, right this way.

You okay?
