that I've never been.

I am just not comfortable
with how flirty he is,

and that's the problem.

Unfortunately,
I say, "Prove yourself"

because, you know, that's
the issue here, is trust, so...

Doesn't mean I'm going
to cheat on you.

ulterior motives or that

Even though he says
that he's in love with me

and, like, he loves this feeling
that he has with me,

there's a point where
you're staring so hard

that it's disrespectful

Tom has never been in a real
committed relationship before,

so with the whole point of going
to this island

is to see that he can keep it
in his pants.

I feel the whole essence

the big things right.

I've never been
in a relationship with someone

who already had
their life planned out.

He's thinking about his future.

He's thinking
about his future family.

This is one of those moments

where we can either
grow stronger

or we can pull apart
from each other,

but it's definitely something
that we need.

It doesn't always feel like
we're on the same page.

His thing is excellence,
and I can't blame him for that,

but when I'm giving my best,
he feels like it's not the best.

I feel like I'm 1,000% more
ambitious than Erica is.

When she's setting goals
and different things,

she's not fully pressing
towards it.

She always stops
when it's, like, 30% there.

When I do develop into
who I really am supposed to be,

and the woman that I really am,
is that gonna be enough?

I just need him to see that
the way in which I love him

is just as important as
my drive.

The next step for me,
I would say, would be,

of course, marriage.

I don't believe in divorce.
I don't believe in separation.

None of that.
Once you get married, that's it.

I really wanna see, like,
with this whole experience,

if she is the right person
or if I'm being too critical.

First time me and Kristen met

was freshman year
of high school.

I was throwing a house party.
I get a knock on the door,

and it's this pretty girl.

Feels like yesterday
I was scoring touchdowns,

pointing up to you over there
in the crowd.

I know.

A lot of people always are
hounding us,

"You know,
why aren't you guys married?

You know,
what are you waiting for?"

But we know that, you know,
our relationship's not perfect.

I was unfaithful, you know?

I'm not gonna beat
around the bush.

You know, being out here,
it really makes me, like,

go back and reflect, you know,
how far we've come.

Infidelity is not something
that I'm gonna deal with

for the rest of my life.

We still haven't been
able to move forward,

which is why this is so serious.

This experience is so serious
for us.

I just want to know that we both

have mutual respect
for each other

and love for each other,
and that's going to reflect

- in our actions.

because I'm not ready.

If he betrays me again, I will
have to let him go for myself.

I played Division I soccer
at Rutgers,

and I was also drafted
to play professionally.

So I'm used to dating
other pro athletes.

You know, I dated a linebacker
for the Eagles.

I used to date a shortstop
for the Marlins.

So I'm just used to that
A-type personality

and the just, like,
super fast-paced lifestyle,

and with Corey, he's super shy,
conservative.

He is more safe.

My confidence does get
chiseled away

by Erin's exes being
professional athletes.

They'll go
and live in the limelight,

having all these parties,

so of course I feel
a little...belittled.

I wanna prove that I'm not
her exes.

I am the better man

This whole experience,

and then come out

the other side stronger
and--and better.

why did you come to the island?

Well, we came to the island.
Um, I have an issue,

um, with our relationship
because of trust.

He's a little flirty
and friendly,

and I'm not used to that,

so, you know, when we first
started dating,

I took that as, like, if he's

for me to see him

just been my inclination to be
