[♪♪] Episode Title:
"Pascal's Dragon"

(bell ringing)

Your Highness,
here's the manifest

from Neserdnia's latest
shipment of goods.

(gasps) They always send us
the best stuff!

Ooh, kumquats!

Merino wool!

Lavender oils!
(gasps) Porcelain dolls!

Oh, oh!
Neserdnian riding hats!

- What do you think?
- (Eugene chuckles awkwardly)

I think... I'll keep
my thoughts to myself.

(scoffs)
Well, you know what?

I know
who's a better judge.

Pascal?
Hmm?

(squeaks enthusiastically)

Rapunzel:
I saw that, Pascal.

(Rapunzel giggles)

Oh!
What did you find?

Ooh, it's nice and warm!

(chuckles)
That beauty's a keeper.

So, hug away,
little guy.

Well, whatever that thing is,

it must have arrived here
by accident.

I suspect it's in everyone's
best interest

that we send it
back whence it came.

Come on, Nigel, it's just
a little marble.

And look at how much fun
Pascal is having with it!

(squeaking happily)

Hmm...

(snoring)

[♪♪]

(cracks)

(shrieks)

(squawks)

(yawns)

(cries)

[♪♪]

(squawks)

[♪♪]

I knew it.

(birds twittering)

(shrieks)

- (knocking at door)
- Rapunzel (groaning): No.

Who is it?
Go away!

(knocking continues)

Rapunzel: I'm coming.
Hold on. Just a minute.

Nigel (muffled):
Your Highness! Rapunzel!

Your Highness,
thank goodness you're awake!

That Neserdnian "marble"
your little lizard friend found?

Well, it's not a marble at all.
It's a dragon egg!

(yawning): I'm sorry.
I'm just waking up.

Can you...
Can you say the part

about the whole thing
you were just saying?

Princess! Look!

Rapunzel:
A dragon egg?

Well, that does look
like Pascal's marble, but...

Nigel:
But nothing, Princess!

Dragons are
terribly dangerous.

We must get rid
of it at once.

Rapunzel:
Okay, just a second, Nigel.

We don't know for sure
it's a dragon's egg.

In fact, let's go have another
look at Pascal's marble,

and I'm sure we'll discover
that's all it is.

And if it isn't?
If it is a dragon?

We'll have no choice
but to destroy it, right?

We do whatever we have to do
to keep Corona safe.

(panting)

(rattling)

(grumbles)

Reptiles in the castle,
ridiculous!

(panting)

Rapunzel:
Pascal!

(sighs)

Pascal, buddy!
Hey, Pascal?

Pascal, listen. I know
this is going to sound silly,

but Nigel's got it
in his head

that that little marble
you have is... (giggles)

- get this... a...
- (rattling)

(panting)

...dragon egg.

(sniffing)

So, uh, a dragon, huh?

Listen, Pascal, keeping
a dragon around the castle

isn't the best idea.
For one thing,

they can breathe fire,
and the other thing is...

Well, actually,
the fire-breathing

is probably
a good enough reason.

Aw.

Okay.
That was really cute.

You two have
hit it off, huh?

Well, he sure does seem
like a sweet little,

um, big guy.

Hey! Maybe that's
what we should call you.

"Little Big Guy."

You know what? Suppose
Little Big Guy were to stay here,

just, you know,
until we figure out what to do with him.

We do have to keep him quiet,
so we don't cause a panic.

(roaring)

Okay, we will work
on that quiet part.

Now, we-we don't want
to scare anybody,

so he can't stay
in the castle.

That means we'll need
to train him to survive.

Do you think
we can do that?

Good. Now, to get him
out of here

without attracting
attention.

I'm gonna have to recruit
some help.

Eugene:
You know, Sunshine,

next time you want me
to move furniture,

I'd appreciate it if it
were actually furniture.

(crunches)

Yow! It just stepped
on my foot!

Ow, ow, ow, ow, ow! Ow?

Uh, hey! Hey, everyone!
There are free, um...

Pastries
in the throne room!

- Let's go.
- Right, right.

Okay. Let's start
with some basic skills

and work our way up.

Every dragon should
be able to move discreetly.

Sometimes,
they need to tuck and roll.

(groans)

Rapunzel:
Eating is key to survival.

A baby dragon must learn
what he can and can't eat.

(sniffing)

(growls)

Every dragon needs to fly!

Up, down. Up, down.
Up, down! Up, down.

Rapunzel:
Whoa!

I think I'd call that
a success.

(sniffing)

(gasps)

- Little Big Guy?
- Huh?

You can change colors?

Eugene:
What?

Wait! (gasps)
No. I've read about this!

"Dragons can magically adopt
characteristics of someone they love."

No way, really?
I wonder what else he can do.

(groans)
I had to ask.

(laughs)

Apparently,
dragons can even lend

their own traits
to their friends!

(gasps) Pascal!

You've got a horn too!

And wings!
(shrieks)

Eee! Twinsies!

Look, don't worry.
Learning to go plaid takes time.

I'm assuming,
I'm no plaid expert.

But I do love a tartan.

Rapunzel: Just like
learning to fly is not easy.

Ah! Ah-bup-bup-bup!

You know,
You've done a lot today.

Maybe you could use
a rest

before you try
to fly again.

I know I can.
Good night, you two.

And please,
try to lay low.

Eugene; Uh, don't forget we
owe some people some pastries.

Rapunzel: We'll
make a stop at Attila's.

(tree top rustling)

- (tree snaps)
- (shrieks)

(bellows)

(groans)

(laughing)

(belches)

(gasps)

(sniffing)

Is that me?

Do you smell
something burning?

No. Who can smell anything
over all the smoke?

Both:
Smoke?

(bell clanging)

Nigel:
Well, it's as I suspected.

The footprints don't lie.

There is a dragon
amongst us.

We must find it,
immediately.

Wow, Nigel. You really
have it out for dragons, huh?

I loved a dragon,
once, as a child.

He was a baby
when I found him.

People said that
I shouldn't keep him,

that dragons
were ferocious, deadly.

But I didn't understand...

until one day, the dragon's
family came looking for it.

The dragons attacked our village
and destroyed everything.

All because
I took that baby dragon.

It was only through sheer luck
that no one was seriously hurt.

(sighs)

That was a mistake
I'll never make again.

Believe me
when I say this:

that dragon is a threat
to everyone in this kingdom...

A threat that must
be eliminated at once.

Let me handle this.

I will talk to Pascal.

And don't do anything
until I give you the word.

The Princess clearly
doesn't understand

the urgency of
the situation.

We are all in danger.

You're to go after
that dragon immediately!

Capture him if you can!

But if necessary
destroy that dragon!

Pascal? Little Big Guy?

Pascal, buddy?
Little Big Guy?

- (shrieks in the distance)
- That's Little Big Guy!

But where did
that sound come from?

(baby screeching)

Wait a second.

That's what that
dragon's shriek is!

He's calling
for his mother!

Hey, guys! Have you seen
Pascal or the dragon?

No. But we sure are looking.
We have our orders.

What? What do you mean?
What orders?

Same ones
all the guards have.

Nigel told us to find the
dragon and eliminate the threat!

Nigel told you what?

No! Stand down.

The search
for the dragon is off!

With all due respect,
Your Highness,

a dragon is a very
dangerous beast.

And you don't want us
to go after it?

- I'm good with that.
- As you wish.

Hey guys! Princess says we
don't have to hunt for the dragon!

- Can you believe it?
- Guards: Hooray!

Oh, boy. We've got
a massive hunt afoot.

Rapunzel, we are never
gonna get to all the guards

and stop them before
they find that dragon.

And when they do,
who knows what they'll do to him?

You're right.
But the good thing is,

the best guard on the force
is on our side.

(whistles)

(snorts)

(chittering)

(roaring)

- Shh!
- Nigel: On your toes! Prepare the nets!

Is Xavier's
dragon sleep potion ready?

All set, sir!

- (gasps)
- (laughs nervously)

- (screams)
- (shrieks)

- (Little Big Guy shrieks)

- (Little Big Guy shrieks)

- (Guard screams)
- (Little Big Guy shrieks)

- (Guard screaming)
- (Little Big Guy shrieking)

- (shrieks)
- (whimpering)

Secure him! Now!

Good job, men!

Let's make sure
this beast never hurts...

What in blazes?

(roaring)

Attaboy, Max!

Stand down!
The hunt is off!

[♪♪]

(panting)

Where'd they go?

Over here!

There they are!

(yelps)

Well, I think
I'll call it a day.

- I'm with you.
- Sounds like a plan.

Too bad we couldn't
find that dragon.

Pascal? Little Big Guy?
Where are you?

Oh. I have been worried sick!

What are you
doing way up here?

I mean, great view.

But why come
all the way up here?

(chitters)

- Oh!
- (distant screeching)

That must be his family.

We've gotta help you
reach them!

You were already doing that.
Got it.

Well, we are gonna help
get you there. Right, Pascal?

Fire on my signal.

Fire!

Eugene:
Uh-oh. Incoming!

Whoa! Look out!

- (Little Big Guy groans)
- (Max whinnies)

Rapunzel:
What? No!

Little Big Guy!
Hold on!

Gotcha!

Don't worry, pal.
I have you.

Rapunzel! No!

(Rapunzel screams)

[♪♪]

(bellows)

(Rapunzel giggles)

Rapunzel:
Woo!

[♪♪]

(crows cawing)

[♪♪]

(Eugene groans)

I love you too.

Okay, Little Big Guy.

It's time to shriek
your loudest.

Come on!
Let's hear it!

Come on, buddy.

You've gotta let your
family know that you're here.

You've gotta yell!

(roaring)

(Pascal roaring)

(both roaring)

Rapunzel:
They're coming!

Sir! There's a bunch
of them overhead.

And they're in range!

No, let them go.

(sighs)

Rapunzel: Okay,
Sweetie! Here they are!

(bellows)

[♪♪]

Believe me, Pascal,
I know how hard it is

to say goodbye
to a friend.

So I made you something

that I think just might
cheer you up.

You can open your eyes now.

(happy squeak)

Not a bad way
to remember him, huh?
