[Louie] Buried treasure, he says.
A frozen fortune, he says.

Trust me, he says. Ha!

Well, how was I to know
she sold us a phony map?

Baloo, any gal who would make eyes
at you has got to be a fake.

Fine, Louie.

But who's the genius
who woke Mr. Grumpy back there?

- [bellowing]
- [both screaming]

That's using your face.

My belly button's turning blue!

Keep a stiff upper gut, cuz.

[sputtering]
How come I'm always the taxi?

Because you've got
the biggest spare tire.

[both screaming]

[engine revving]

Never a dull moment, right?

Looks like we got a bad case
of blubber on the rudder.

Not for long.

So, what do you want to do
for the rest of our vacation?

Anything but treasure hunt, Louie.
Anything but that.

No more falling for pretty faces
with crazy stories.

[Baloo] A deal. [shuddering]

Now let's go somewhere warm
to thaw out.

[woman] It's got to be here.
I've looked everywhere else.

Look! I found it!

Third bell of the legend.

The final key
of the lost city of Tinabula.

And it's mine at last.

[man] Correction, Ms. Dodd.
It's mine at last.

And I want all three, thank you.

No!

- [grunting] Made in the shade.
- Nice beach, cuz.

But next time we oughta
get closer to the water.

Well, it sure beats going off
on a frozen goose chase.

Buried treasure! Ha!

Damsels in distress! Ha!

[both] Never again.

[galloping]

[Dodd screaming]

- Odd weather we're having.
- Help!

You think we oughta... No!

- [galloping approaching]
- [continues screaming]

You know, Louie, we have
to do something about this,

just for the sake of the chairs.

You all set, Louie?

Roger and ready.
Just hold her steady.

- [screaming]
- Hang on.

Well, hello.

Hey, Louie, did you tell off
that Sunday camel driver?

Louie?

She followed me home.
Can I keep her?

Where is the girl?

We sent her packing, master.

What? Without her I cannot find
the weapon of power.

Those meddlers.

I want that girl back.

After that plane!

[indistinct chattering]

Louie, un-gag the pretty lady.

She probably wants to thank me.

Hey. I saw her first.

Put me down, you goon.

Sure enough, sweet stuff.

First of all, I am not "sweet stuff."

I'm Katie Dodd, archaeologist.

Next, you can drop me off
at the police station in Ghafia.

I need to report those desert rats
who stole my bells.

Bells?

Yes. The legendary bells
that reveal the city of Tinabula.

- Tinabula?
- Are you two hard of hearing?

We're talking about
a legendary lost city here.

No, no, no. Sorry, lady.

No more cockamamie
treasure hunts. Uh-uh.

Suit yourselves.

- Well, I suppose we could just listen.
- Yeah, that would be OK.

OK. Here's the whole story.

According to legend, 3,000 years ago,

golden Tinabula was the glory
and wonder of the world.

No one could withstand the might
of their evil weapon.

They conquered the desert
as far as the eye could see.

And, according to the legend,
worshiped strange and hideous creatures.

- Giant scarabs.
- [Baloo laughing] Scarabs.

Them those them things you get
when you fall down and go boom?

[Katie] Scarabs, not scabs.

They're big beetles, you lunkheads.

[Baloo] Oh, sorry. Tell us more.

[Katie] They even carved giant statues
of them in the cliffs around the city.

One day, the desert swallowed
the evil city, leaving nothing but sand.

No weapon, no people, nothing.

- [Baloo] Scary.
- [Katie] It's been lost ever since.

But after hunting for five years,
I finally found the key.

The three golden bells,

the mere ringing of which
will uncover the city.

And I'm the only one
who knows how to use them.

But now some lowlife and his men
have stolen the bells from me

and, well, I've got to get them back.
Do you understand?

- [Baloo] Yeah, sure.
- [Louie] Sure.

[both laughing]

[Baloo] No problem.

[both] Yeah, we understand.

[Baloo laughing]
Red-robed ruffians. Magic bells.

And what about that gun
that rubs out cities?

- Good thing we didn't fall for it.
- Louie, she is a genuine screwball.

- I hear you, cuz.
- Just wait until tomorrow.

- You'll see I'm telling the truth.
- Don't worry, Katie.

I believe your story. How about
you lay it on me again over dinner?

Just a doggone minute.
I was gonna ask her out.

Thanks for saving me.
But I've got a lost city to find,

and I can't afford to be patronized by
two girl-crazy buffaloes like you two.

So, was that a yes or a no for dinner?

Boy, am I a sight for sore eyes.

Or blind ones.

You're just jealous
'cause my suit fits like a glove.

Mighty big thumb.
Do a lot of hitchhiking?

Excuse me. Do you have a reservation?

That's OK. I'm with him.

- And I'm with him.
- In that case...

Wait a minute. Brutus.

Move it or lose it, Louis.

[Louie] Our pretty port in the storm.

Hi, Katie. Miss us?

[man] Hey, youse two.

I guess they're with me.

[indistinct mumbling]

Thanks, Katie, baby.
You're a lifesaver.

So, what are you eating?

- Alone.
- How do you like my tie?

Much, much tighter.

Aw, she doesn't like us.

Not even a teensy bit?

All right.

- Just don't press your luck.

[man] And stay out!

Baloo!

Now how are we gonna catch 'em, man?
They got horses.

But we got a duck.

[Baloo] Yahoo!

You know, Baloo,
I was just thinking.

It doesn't show.

OK, OK, but we're
a couple of grade-A saps.

- What do you mean?
- Our deal.

No more treasure hunts with damsels.
And look at us.

Well, I'm only doing this to prove
that there is no treasure.

Yeah, that's it. And I'm coming along
to keep you company, OK?

OK. Now, keep your eyes peeled.

[wolves howling]

[man] Rejoice, my men.
For at dawn we shall realize our dreams.

[all cheer]

Thanks to these bells,
we shall find the lost city of Tinabula.

Then I shall have my weapon
and we will all be rich.

Now, bring me the girl.

Let me go!

- [bells chiming]
- [gasps]

Those are mine!

Uh-uh-uh.
That's no way to treat one's host.

Host? Who do you think you are, anyway?

I am Thaddeus E. Klang,
finder of lost antiquities.

I have a little trouble with names.
Can I just call you "lying thief?"

You have a sharp tongue, madam.

But my teeth are sharper.

When I raise the city tomorrow,

you will help me find
that golden weapon,

or you shall feel my bite, as well.

I'm the only one
who can read the ancient writing.

Hurt me and you're out of luck.

[chuckling]

Obviously, people do not
frighten you, Ms. Dodd.

But perhaps my pets will.

- [buzzing]
- [wails]

Yo! Campfires at ten o'clock.

Got to be them.
I'll swing around for a closer peek.

So, your friends follow you.

Those lovable lunks.

They are foolish lunks.

And they will pay painfully.

Use the catapults.

Quickly!

Next buzz around you look for Katie.

[thudding]

Don't bombs go "boom?"

- [object thudding]
- [buzzing]

[both scream]

- They're eating my plane!
- Can't you shake them off?

They're like ticks on a dog.

Leave this overgrown aphid to me.

[gulps] Yep. We're in trouble.

[Baloo] Mayday, mayday,
bugs on the bonnet! We're going down!

[all chittering]

[speaks foreign language]

[muffled cries]

Fodey-oh-dough.

Boy, Katie wasn't kidding.
Big bugs, mercenaries, the works.

Maybe she was right about the gold too.

Look, let's not start that again.

But just in case, I will split it 60-40.

- Cut me some slack, Jack.
- It's my plane.

Yeah. And you crashed it twice.

- Sure, blame me.
- I just did.

- What's with the fogey-oh-dough?
- That's their language.

[indistinct chattering]

OK. What's the scam, Sam?

The way I figure it,
Katie's in that tent.

One of us frees her while the other one
distracts those uglies.

Good luck, buddy.
I'll give Katie your regards.

Nice try,
but we'll settle this like gentlemen.

Heads.

Sorry, tails. Bye, cuz.

Well, I'll be a monkey's uncle.

[humming]

[laughing and cheering]

Down boys, down.

You break it, you pay for it.

Speed it up a little.

What is all this?

- Hi, Katie. Miss me?
- Baloo!

To the rescue.

Oh, baby.
Wait till Louie hears about this.

Now, let's scoot, kiddo.

Not without these.

If Klang ever found Tinabula,
no one would ever be safe.

- If you say so.
- Stop this at once. Let me go.

Loosen up, desert daddy.

[laughing and cheering stops]

[chuckling] Don't mind us party poopers.

Then who...?

Run for it!

- Get me those bells!
- [all shouting indistinctly]

- So, what's the plan, man?
- Don't have one.

Did I mention she hugged me?

In your dreams.

[grunting]

Thanks for finding my bowling ball, Ma.

[crashing]

Did you get the number of that bug?

Louie, where's Katie?

Do not fret, gentlemen.
She is with me.

Let them go, you heartless creep!

Observe, gentlemen.

According to legend, these three bells

can cause the lost city of Tinabula
to appear out of a storm.

How fortunate you two will be able

to witness that storm firsthand.

I hope your jaw rusts.

- [bell echoing]
- Stop it. Those are my bells.

[cheering, laughing]

[bell sounds]

[Klang] Yes!

Yes!

How can you leave them out there?

Like this.

The next time we promise not
to get involved, let's not get involved.

Sure, cousin. If there is a next time.

[both screaming]
