[Suspenseful music]

- And that ladies and
gentlemen is what

the Tajmanon look like

- It's magnificent
when you realize

that was chiseled out of
Sandstone 5,000 years ago

via hundreds and
hundreds of slaves.

- Thats right Lieutenant Shore.

Your knowledge surprises me.

The model will show
clearly the location

of the Tajmanon.

40 years ago, power
was needed in this area

and the World Development
Council decided to dam

the river you see running
through and harness the energy.

This of course is the dam.

- I see.

It means this whole
area now is under water

including the palace?

- Unfortunately that is so.

It was later agreed that
a team of archeologists

including myself would carry
out undersea explorations.

I'd like you to see a
film of the first survey.

- [Phones] I take it that
this is the dam

we've seen on the model?

- [Professor] Check.

Soon after it was built,
as a matter of fact.

All right now here's
the flooded area.

The Tajmanon is
submerged here.

The back of the head you
see there is mine

35 years ago of course.

- Professor, isn't that
the sheik whose family

claimed they owned
the Tajmanon?

- [Professor] Yeah
Abdul Ohamera.

- This is all very interesting
but I just can't see

where Stingray
figures in all this.

- Captain, there's one
more film survey to come

taken just two months ago.

It'll answer your question
and l guarantee It'll also

give you a shock.

Now, watch closely.

- It's gone.

The Tajmanon has vanished.

- Completely.
- Thank you Professor.

Troy, this is how
Stingray figures.

Admiral Denver, President
of the Undersea Research

Program has ordered a
full investigation.

As Soon as you, your crew
and Stingray have been

prepared for tropical
duty, you leave and search

for the Tajmanon.

- Everything checks out.

She's in as good of
shape as she'll ever be.

I'll set for Don tomorrow.

- Is Elena coming with us Troy?

She seems to know more about
the Tajmanon than anybody.

- She's gonna ask the
commander, she told me that.

- [Man] With Marina on leave
we could do with the help.

- Let's hope she catches
him in a good mood.

- Supply problems are not
under my jurisdiction.

I just want those new
units on my rescue launches

by Thursday at the latest,
do I make myself clear?

- [Man] Yes sir.

- Let's bring up this
equipment question

at the next staff meeting.

Yes Lieutenant, what is it?

I know, I know, the
African expedition.

I haven't been over the
schedules and rosters yet.

I don't know if I can
spare you or not,

ask me later.

Try and get a move on Fischer.

I want those routine reports
dealt with before tonight.

Atlanta, that was superb.

- I'm glad you enjoyed it.
Steak rare enough?

- [Commander] Perfect,
oh by the way,

I've been over the duty rosters.

- And?

- Well we're kind of short
staffed right now Atlanta.

But taking it by large,
I guess we can spare you.

- [Atlanta] Oh father.

- Sorry about the teasing
and my show of temper today.

- All forgiven father.

- Now why don't you two
guys come in for

a farewell drink?

[dramatic music]

[snoring]

[Suspenseful music]

- Hello from Stingray.

Position now south, southeast
1800, reference May.

We have surfaced and are
proceeding along the Nile

towards the Tajmanon now.

[Suspenseful music]

- Well we should be able
to see the dam soon.

- Troy look.

- Hey, this is great.

Guess I should go and relieve
Phone so he can take a look.

- Africa 28 from Stingray,
do you read?

- [Man] Sure do, go ahead.

- We'll be at the dam in
about 15 minutes.

- [Man] The lifting
gear's in position.

We'll be waiting.

- Okay Phones, you go
and do some site seeing.

- I'll have to take it in
on the way back skipper.

We're nearly there.

[drum music]

- There it is, the Tajmanon dam.

[suspenseful music]

- Africa 28 from
Stingray, she's all yours.

- [Man] Come into the
nearside bank.

We'll take you from there.

- So far so good.

Now take us down gently.

- [Man] You betcha.

That do you?
- Yeah, thanks for the lift.

[suspenseful music]

- Glad to hear everything
went according to plan Troy.

When are you starting
the exploration?

- We're on the riverbed now.

The professor and myself
are making the first survey.

- [Commander] Good luck,
keep me informed of progress.

- We'll radio in our findings.

- I'll keep a full
recording Troy.

[Suspenseful music]

- There's still some
smaller buildings here Troy.

They used to surround
the Tajmanon.

- [Troy] We'll take a look
at those first.

- [Professor] Hey Troy,
come over here,

l've found something.

- [Troy] Spears, I
thought it was gonna

be something important

- [Professor] It is, believe me.

It's something of a mystery too.

[dramatic music]

I have given them time enough.

[bomb exploding]

- Explosions.
- Troy, Troy.

- Good, that should make
the secret of the Tajmanon

safe with me, forever.

[dramatic music]

- Leave it in your
capable hands Lieutenant.

- Okay Commander.

- And there is a call
due in from the Stingray

in about a half an hour,
but apart from that,

things should be quiet
until you're relieved.

- Good night sir.
- Good night lieutenant.

- I'm please, no, I'm
perfectly all right.

- We were both very lucky.

If we hadn't moved out
of that spot when we did,

well I don't have to tell ya.

- What caused it?
You got any ideas?

- No, but from now on
we move very carefully.

- These articles are
our only clue.

I can't think why they
weren't found on the survey.

- Why are they so
important Professor?

- Because they're used by only
one tribe in central Africa.

Using the rivers and waterways,
we could get there in Stingray.

- Central Africa, I'd better check
with the commander over this one.

- Any damage or injury from
the explosion lieutenant?

- Captain Tampest said
everything was in great shape.

- Okay, tell him to
continue the search.

[mysterious music]

- [Atlanta] Beautiful isn't it?
- Sure is.

- But it's got its ugly side,
crocodiles.

- You on deck, Phones?
- Yeah, what is it Troy?

- This is where the
river narrows.

I'll need ya down here
to take some soundings.

- [Phones] I'm on my way.

- I thought it would be
noisier than this

in the jungle professor.

This silence is weird.

- [Professor] Yeah,
I've been puzzling over

that very problem.

Of course it could be that
somebody's watching us

and keeping the animals away.

[drumming]
- Drums.

- That proves we are
being watched.

- We'd better tell Troy.

- Yeah, you can even hear
them down here.

What do you think Professor?

- I think the tribe
we're looking for

is somewhere around here.

- Okay, then we'll mount
a special guard

and hit the shore.

You can take first watch Phones.

[drumming]

- Who's there?

Who's there?

[drumming]

- Phones?

Phones?

- No sign of him Troy.
- Hey, what's happened?

- I was gonna relieve Phones.

He seems to have disappeared.

- If only those drums would stop
you could hear yourself think.

- Professor, you stay on
guard here and don't leave

this ship under any
circumstances.

We'll go and have a
look around for Phones.

Come on Atlanta, stay
close to me.

[drumming]

A ray gun.

Let's try down there.

[drumming]

Here's some kind of house.

- [Atlanta] No sign of life.

- Come on, as quiet as you can.

[drumming]

- Well this proves the
professor's right.

We found the tribe, or at
least where one of them lives.

Did you hear that?

- [Troy] Yeah, stay here.

[drumming]

- Troy?

[drumming]

Troy?

Where are you?

[screaming]

- I'm sure Troy didn't mean
I should stay here this long.

Troy?

Phones?

Atlanta?

Hello?

Anybody there?

[yelling]

- So, you are now all conscious.

Good, welcome to the Tajmanon.

Unfortunately, your first
sight of it will be your last.

[dramatic music]

Many, many years ago,
your people tried

to destroy this palace by water.

You failed.

I know that you have been
sent here again

to make sure it is destroyed.

I am not fooled by you.

Why else would you come?

But with the help of
the African tribe

who have become my friends,
I captured you

and the destruction
will be yours.

[suspenseful music]

- Get me out of here somebody.

Please.
- Out of where?

- [Professor] Hello, hello,
over here.

- So [laughing], you fell
into the animal trap.

- Hasan, Hasan Alehamra.

That is my name, who are you?

- [Professor] Professor Graham.

- Graham, Professor Graham?

Ah, of course.

You are a friend of my fathers.

- That's right.

Now, for pete's sake, get
me out of here.

- Give me your hand.

[Suspenseful music]

- Don't give up.

There's still a chance
Professor Graham will find us.

- My father often spoke of you.

You were one of those that
tried to save the Tajmanon.

- Yeah, though it seems
we wasted our time.

Sounds kind of crazy, but
well it's disappeared.

- Disappeared. [laughing]

- I don't see anything
to laugh about.

- The palace is here.

I got Some undersea
equipment and together

with an African tribe every
stone was brought here

and the palace was reassembled.

Look.

[suspenseful music]

- It all makes sense now.

The Africans who went
down below the waters

of the dam left some of
their spears.

That was what led us here.

- Then you are not alone?

- Ah no, I came with
the members of

the World Aquanaut
Security Patrol.

- Two men and a young lady?

- Yeah , have you seen them?

- Seen them?

I think I killed them.

[dramatic music]

- Well ladies and gentlemen.

Now you've seen the film
of my most recent survey,

the Tajmanon in its new setting.

- Well, l guess the
mystery has been solved.

- Hey look, there's Hasan.

- Oh I guess he wasn't
such a bad fella after all.

- I thought he was kinda cute
once you got to know him.

- Cute presents he gave us too.

If that mummy case is
anything to go by.

- Just another
souvenir Commander

from another WASP adventure.
