- It's a sizzling season three

of "Skin Wars."

The art of body painting

is more powerful than ever.

12 of the most talented artists

from around the world

will push themselves

week after week...

You painted your heart out.

- Proving who is brilliant
- with a brush...

- Yeah!

- Just amazing.

- Loved it.

- I came here to win.

- And who can't handle
- the pressure.

- I'm freaking out.

- Wow.
- What?

Almost there.

- How dare you disgrace

this competition

with your bull****?

- Do you want to leave

the competition?

This week, five remain

to compete for the grand prize:

$100,000 and the ultimate title

of "Skin Wars" champion.

- Oh, oh...

- Country themed?

- Nice.

- Well, hello, painters.

- Hello.
- Hi.

- Say "hi" to Ru.

- He's gonna judge
- your first challenge today.

- Hi.
- Hi, everybody.

- Hey, howdy.

- Rick,
- you're still here.

Were you surprised about

the judges' decision?

- I was very surprised.

I wasn't expecting that.

I was just getting

ready to go home.

- Him and Tiffany are my

biggest competitors right now.

- For a second, when I thought
- he was about to be eliminated,

- I was like, "Oh, phew,
- that's a load off.

I just have to take out

Tiffany now," and now he's back.

- Well, congratulations
- to all five of you

for making it this far.

We're down to our

very best painters,

and this competition

is getting really tight.

- Yeah, honey.

You might even say "skin tight."

- Oh, that's right, Ru.

- Painters, today
- you'll be competing

in a "Skin Wars"

Apparel Challenge.

- Yay.

- You'll be painting

realistic jeans

custom-designed

for your models' bodies.

This is your chance

to paint your very own pair

of designer jeans.

- Cute.
- That's exciting.

Coming out of being

in the bottom, you know,

most people don't feel

like I'm a big threat

in this competition,

so I need a really strong win.

- This is a waist-down,

360-degree design.

Your models will be wearing

crop tops and shoes

to finish the look

of a complete outfit.

You'll have 2 1/2 hours

to complete your paintings,

for the painter

Ru, any advice?

- I want the jeans

that you paint

to be my favorite pair,

- Just like you.
- Just like me.

- Painters,

your time starts now.

Whoo!

- It feels really good
- to be a part of the final five,

but I want more.

How do you open this?

There we go.

I want that $100,000 to help

pay off my student loans.

Winning "Skin Wars" would

give me a whole new life.

- Yeah.
- Cool.

- I'm gonna make it, like,
- a really dark purply blue.

- So, when you're painting
- a pair of jeans,

- you've got to add
- zippers and buttons

and all those little things

- and put highlights
- and shadows there,

so it really looks

like it's fabric.

There, like that.

- I think I want to do,
- like, stripes of, like,

a black mesh on the sides.

- Let's do double zippers today.

My first thing was zippers.

You have to have zippers on it,

so I grab a few of those.

I know that's an awkward place

to hold it.

I'm so sorry.

- The other way.

- My inspiration

for these jeans is, like,

a rock 'n' roll style.

- I love the color red,
- so I'm thinking, you know,

why not customize it

into a nice pair

of burgundy red jeans?

Photos?

You never see it?

Stunning.

- All right.

30 minutes in,

Ru and Rebecca come in.

That's not good.

- Painters, can I have
- your attention, please?

Success on "Skin Wars"

isn't just about creativity.

You need to adapt

and be prepared

for whatever comes your way.

Painters,

when I say, "Switch,"

you are going to

switch models

- with one of your
- fellow painters.

- Wow...

- What?

- Each of your models will move
- one workstation to your left,

- and the painter
- at that station

will finish working

on that pair of jeans

for the rest of the challenge.

- You're welcome, Ricky.

It totally sucks

at this point.

- Now, you're gonna need

to react and refocus

to make those jeans

your design.

- Ready or not, models,

switch stations.

- Hey.

- Hi.

- I'm kind of upset,

because I already worked

and put down this really

beautiful red base color

on my model,

and it's given to Michael.

- This looks so cool, Tiffany.
- Yeah.

- Okay, painters,
- good luck with this.

We'll see you in a little bit.

- I got Alison's piece.

This is terrible.

I was on a great start,

and Alison's model

is almost completely bare,

so now I'm back

at the beginning.

We have a lot of damage control

to do right now.

- Wow, Alison, you really

screwed Brit over there.

- Brittney, do you feel like you
- can make something out of that?

- I'm gonna have to

at this point.

- It's gonna be great.

- Duh.

I'm gonna have to make it great.

- Peel some of that blue;
- it's a little too much.

- So what did you plan on
- doing here, Brittney?

- You know, Ricky, it doesn't

even matter at this point.

- I get to see what

Brittney was working with.

I see she has

two zippers going up.

- Thanks for them zippers,
- though.

- Pretty sweet zippers,
- aren't they?

- Yeah.

- I'm gonna try

and tweak it a little bit

to fit my style a little more.

- She's got this cool
- pink top on,

so I decide I want to do sort

of a pink and purple highlight

so it really pops,

and it looks flashy and trashy,

like my original vision.

I'm not a big fan

of this twist.

- Good luck, Tiff.
- Yup.

- I get Rick's piece,
- and I'm like,

"Gosh, what am I gonna do

with these plain-looking,

blue, blue jeans?"

- Obviously,
- Rick's not into fashion.

So immediately I'm like,

"Gosh...

- what can I do
- to switch this up?"

- So I put a little bit of green
- in there and switch it up

by putting that green

and that blue combo together.

- We only have 30 minutes left.

- Now I'm freaking out,
- because got to make sure

you have bends and folds

- and shadows
- and highlights everywhere,

and I don't know if I have

enough time to do it.

Whoo.

- That's it, time's up.
- Tools down.

- Aah!

- Hello, Alison.

- Hello.

- So you ended up getting
- Michael's model.

- Yeah,
- I wanted to do something

- that was gonna match
- her pink top.

- So I've just got

to confess something real quick.

Any time there are cutouts

in a pair of pants,

my nipples get hard.

- Oh.
- Yay!

When you got this,

were they already there,

the cutouts?

- So he had this mesh

already airbrushed in,

and I just painted over it.

- I see.

- They're very sexy.

- Michael, so tell us

about your red jeans

- that you took over
- from Tiffany.

- She had done this, like,

beautiful jean texture

on red fabric.

She had some holes that

I wasn't thrilled about,

so I got rid of those.

I made them high-waisted.

I added some buttons

and some lines to accentuate

her beautiful long legs,

and then I wanted her hand

to be on her ass.

- I love that.

- Yeah, that's fun.

- Tiffany, hello.
- Hello.

- And you inherited this blue.

- Yes.

- What did you do?

- Tell me about
- the technique there.

- So I went in and I threw in

some really dark green,

like, lowlights,

and then I went in

with the big belt buckle,

- and I curved it above her hip
- to give her a nice

little accentuation

of the hip area.

So I wanted to add that

little decal on the back

and then bring

it in to kind of, like,

bring the eye up and down.

- You've got rhinestone

embellishments on these jeans.

- Mm-hmm,
- if you want to attract

that very sexy guy

across the room,

- you need to have a little
- sparkle in your tush,

- so that's why we gave her some.
- Okay.

So you inherited

Brittney's model.

- I sure did.

- Now, Brittney had decided

to put these zippers

- in this V formation,
- and you chose to keep that.

- Yeah, I thought it was

a nice little twist to it,

- 'cause, I mean,
- some jeans actually need

- two zippers to get--
- Oh, yeah?

- Yeah, you know, to get

straight to business sometimes.

Oh.

- That's very smart.
- Yes.

- Not quite

what I was thinking.

- You know, I got to throw

my own twist to it.

We had time to head

over to a tattoo shop

and, you know, get her a little

tattoo down there.

- Oh, great, so,
- that's a hole in the jeans...

- Oh, yeah,
- that's a hole.

- And then there's a tattoo
- showing underneath.

- Yeah.
- Great. Thank you, Rick.

All right, so you inherited

Alison's jeans.

- I did.
- I did inherit Alison's jeans.

- How'd you feel

about this twist?

- It was not what

I was expecting.

Let's just say that.

She didn't have much

covered on her model,

and some of the decisions

that she had made

I wasn't a big fan of,

so I decided to change it up.

- Okay.

- And you've got some texture
- of the denim on there.

How'd you get that?

- I did a lot of airbrushing

- and then textured
- with a brush on top of it.

- Thank you, Brittney.

- Thanks, guys.

- All right, well,
- Ru has a tough decision to make.

We'll be back shortly

to announce a winner.

Thanks, guys.

- All right.
- So what'd you think?

- Wow, jeans couture.

- Jeans, jeans, jeans.

- I love it.

- What'd you think
- about Alison?

- They were slutty,

they were tacky,

there was a lot of shading,

there was a lot of texture.

- Alison doesn't even strike me

as the jeans type of lady.

- And I got to tell you,
- technically,

with Alison's jeans,

they were really well done.

- What about Rick?

- I loved Rick's jeans.

He took that zipper motif

to town.

I thought the shading

on there was really gorgeous.

- The length of the jean
- was very realistic.

- I liked that length.
- Yeah.

- That's a length I would wear.
- It was a statement.

- What about Tiffany?

- The stitching on there

and those embellishments

on the rear pockets--

they looked very real.

And the way she took

the waistband down

in that V like that--

that was an interesting touch.

And then Brittney--

her denim texture

was very real,

but the lace parts of it

took me out of that realness.

- You think the combination

of lace and denim

is too delicate?

- Where she placed it.

- Right.
- Because it seemed...

unrealistic.

- So have you decided

on a winner?

- Absolutely.

- Okay, let's go tell them.

- All right.

- Painters,

I absolutely love

- what you did
- with this challenge,

and everyone's jeans

had their own specific style.

Ru has decided who his

top three painters are.

Tiffany...

Rick...

Alison.

- Whoo.

- You are the top
- three painters.

Congratulations.

Please step forward.

Fantastic work, painters,

but only one of you had

the most divine denim.

And the winner

of this challenge is...

- Any competitor wants

to be the best,

and I want this day

on the top.

- We're here talking jeans.

- I love the red ones.
- Yeah.

- The red ones
- are your favorites?

- I like high-waisted,

so...

- You want to go commando
- under those jeans.

- I actually prefer it.

- They're bright.

They're tight.

- Almost,
- like, painted on.

- Take a closer look, Mike.

- They are actually painted on.

- Did you paint them?

Can we paint some on me?

- Yeah, I knew right away.

- Tiffany, Rick, Alison,

- you are
- the top three painters.

Congratulations.

- Tiffany,

your jeans looked real.

They had great texture,

and the stitching

on the pockets was perfect.

- Thank you.

- And Alison, you had me

at "cutouts on the sides."

Your jeans had a lot of shading

and a lot of detail.

Very nice.

Rick, the jeans you painted

had such a unique design.

In fact, we have a name

for your jeans.

- Whoa, what is it?
- Are you ready for this?

You're gonna be set for life.

You ready for this?

- Picture it:

Va-jeans.

- Whoa, that's perfect.

- Nailed it.
- Do you see it?

- Yeah.
- Va-jeans.

- Va-jeans.

There you go.

- Fantastic work,

painters,

but only one of you had

the most divine denim,

And the winner

of this challenge is...

- Oh, yeah, baby.

- Congratulations, Rick.

You are the winner.

- You know,
- they were very unique,

and I thought they were

just a lot of fun.

I couldn't take my eyes

off of Va-jean.

- Va-jean.

- Why would you want to?

- Why would you want to?

- Last challenge,
- I was in the bottom.

I was about to go home.

- To come up on top,
- it feels good.

I mean, it feels--definitely

it's a good feeling.

- And, Rick,
- you will receive a year's supply

of paint from WolfeFX makeup,

and you'll be featured

on their website.

Congratulations.

- Oh, that's sweet.

- That sucks.

- It's, like, the one competition
- you want to win,

and then your masterpiece

- gets passed off
- to another painter

and just so happens

to win unlimited paint.

Ugh.

- The first challenge
- was a lot of fun,

and I bet you're all excited

for a concept challenge, right?

- Gosh.
- Yes.

- Well, to find out
- more details,

you'll have to meet Ru and me

over at the "Skin Wars" stage

in a timely fashion.

Let's go.

- Ah, look at those.

- Oh.

- Whoa.

- Shoes.

Oh, glorious shoes.

- They're raised up
- on little platforms,

- and, oh, my God,
- I want them all.

Like, I love shoes.

- Painters,
- in your first challenge,

you focused on apparel that is

the ultimate in casual chic

and painted

the perfect pair of jeans.

For this concept challenge,

we're raising the bar

and elevating

your apparel paintings

from casual to couture.

Painters,

your high-fashion look

will be inspired by

one of these

gorgeous pairs of shoes.

- Now, if you haven't noticed,

fashion is basically in my DNA.

Fine clothing

is simply art that you wear.

- In this high-fashion
- apparel challenge,

you will create a head-to-toe,

360-degree design,

and you may leave

some skin exposed.

- Awesome.

- You'll have 5 hours
- to complete

this runway-ready painting.

- When I pull a brush
- with your name on it,

you'll each select

a pair of shoes.

Alison.

- Ooh.

There's a lot going on

with these shoes.

- There's, like, patent leather
- with white stitching,

yellow leather with

a brocade patter on it--

those are the ones I ultimately

decided to go for.

- Michael.

- These are cute.

- Rick.
- I want these.

My shoes have

all these patterns.

The more patterns,

the more you can fill in

the body with.

- Not too bad.
- Tiffany.

- Think I'll go with these.

I decide to pick out

the gold shoes.

They're gonna be moving

with the model,

and the gold

is just really beautiful.

- Brittney.

- Those are cute.

- Check these out.

- Good luck,

and we'll see you tomorrow.

- Par party.

- Good morning.
- Hello, good morning.

- These are the heels
- you're wearing.

- I love it.
- They're incredible, right?

And I could give it

a neck piece like that too.

These designs--

- Oh, yeah.

- I want to go extremely fierce

with my piece.

My strategy

is to make something

that fits my model perfectly.

I'm thinking,

"You've got to be better.

You got to stand out more."

I've been in the top three

so many times,

- and I still haven't
- won anything.

I want to be able

to prove myself,

and I don't think

that I have at this point.

- To my eye,

the shoes look like

kind of a bright chartreuse.

I'm going with this sort of

goddess-slash-dominatrix.

I'm sort of wanting to create

- kind of
- a "Blade Runner" look

- with the black
- across the eyes,

so I want her to be beautiful

but a little bit scary.

Oh, awesome.

- It's fun, eh?

We only have five hours,

and, as always, my ambition

is taking me places

that are far beyond five hours.

I want to create

an intimidating piece.

I want to keep the checkers,

and I want to sculpt the studs

- into different
- parts of the body

and transform my model

into almost a creature

that's wearing a gown.

Can you just--

- I think everyone else is making
- a basic bitch design.

- I'm going a little bit
- out there,

and that's just who I am,

and I'm not afraid of doing it.

- My design for today
- is gonna be a little bit more

of abstract,

an optical illusion.

It's gonna be

a three-piece outfit.

It's gonna have some leggings,

it's gonna have a skirt,

and it's gonna have a top on.

But at the end, it all

goes together in one place.

- That's gorgeous.

- There's, like,

a snakeskin print on my shoes,

so I want to kind of reflect

that same texture

within my body-painting.

I want it to have, like,

a nice, neutral-set background,

but I want a lot of gold

and a lot of champagne colors

coming through the body paint.

And I'm hoping that

the judges don't think

that she blends in too much.

- Well,
- hello, painters.

Hello.

- As you can see,
- I have Robin and Ru here today.

- We want to take
- a closer look at your work.

- I love your inspiration shoes.

This is gonna be

really exciting.

- Hey, Alison.
- Hi there.

- Tell us about

what you're working on.

- I'm just going off
- of these shoes

and my own imagination.

- We've got some sketches here.
- And who did these shoes?

- So is this half-dress,

half-pants?

- Yes, I wanted

that plunging neckline

and then, like, a super A-line,

asymmetrical drape.

- How much time

did you spend on her face?

- Yeah, I spent the first hour
- on the face,

- and I plan to spend
- four hours on the body.

- Wow, okay.
- So that's a little bit risky.

- I know, I just wanted it
- to be perfect.

- Thank you, Alison.
- Thank you.

- Hello.
- Hi, Michael.

- This already looks
- like it's pretty high-concept.

Do you have a sketch

that we can look at?

- That is a lot

of little checks...

- I know,
- it's really challenging.

- Which is so time-consuming.
- Yeah, yeah, I know.

- How much time

have you spent on this,

- without even painting yet?
- An hour and a half.

- I'm giving myself
- another 30 minutes

to finish the sculptures...

- Okay.

- And then three hours to paint.

- What made you choose

those shoes?

- They look dangerous.

I like danger.

- Thank you, Michael.

Brittney.

- Hi.
- Hello.

- Tell us what
- you're working on.

- Well, I've got these

absolutely gorgeous shoes,

but I wanted to make her

extremely fierce today

on the runway.

Amanda's got this

beautiful look to her,

and I really wanted

to pull out a design

that accentuated her curves.

- You got a lot of paint down

in a short amount of time.

- Yes.
- I do.

- I'm working as fast as I can
- so that I can make sure

I'm on a good timeline.

- Great,
- thank you, Brittney.

- Thanks, you guys.

- I figured, if I'm gonna
- paint my model,

- it's like me
- taking her on a date.

So if I'm wearing blue,

- might as well put a blue rose
- in there, you know?

- And where are you taking her
- on your date?

- I don't know.

Where would you like to go?

- Hmm--nice restaurant.

- Nice restaurant--any nice

restaurants around Hollywood?

- Yeah, a few. Yeah.
- We've got a couple.

- We got time to decide.

- Thank you, Rick.
- No, thank you.

- I wanted to bring
- something different.

- I wanted to do something
- very elegant,

- but I still wanted
- to keep it very classic

and very clean-looking.

- I didn't want to add, like,
- too many bright colors

- that would take
- away from the shoe.

- I kind of want it
- to complement the shoes.

- One of the dangers
- is that, you know,

there won't be enough

contrast on the runway.

Have you been stepping back?

- I've been stepping back

and looking at my lines

- and looking at
- where I need to be.

- Okay, great.
- Thank you, Tiffany.

- All right,
- thank you so much.

- All right, painters.

- Well, it looks like you're off
- to a great start.

- Can't wait to see
- where you end up.

Good luck.

- Tiff,
- how are you doing, dear?

I'm doing.

- Looking at Tiffany, I can tell

that something isn't right,

and I can tell that it isn't

coming out to her liking,

and that is the best feeling

for me at this point,

because Tiffany is one

of my biggest challenges

in this competition right now.

- All right, guys,

we got three hours left.

- I think I'm struggling

the most with time.

- I always want to spend
- less time on the props,

but somehow it always

takes the best of me.

In the end, my painting

suffers a bit for it.

- He's building some crazy-ass

foam construction again,

and I have no idea what his

paint is even gonna look like,

'cause he hasn't even started

painting his model.

Hopefully he will

crash and burn.

- We only have five hours

to create a high-fashion runway

design based on these shoes.

- Oh, my God,
- two and a half hours.

What happened?

- That's no time at all.
- Oh, my God.

- How you doing over there,
- Michael?

- Dude, I just

**** started.

- Damn, son.
- Aah!

So I'm, like,

kind of panicking

and, like, freaking out.

- Right now, I don't see a lot

of paint on Michael's piece.

- I'm behind schedule,

but I'm feeling

like anything can happen.

Whew.

- Ah, ****, wrong checker--

- You better be careful.

- Yo, Brit,
- you got to work faster too.

- Hey, you worry about your own

piece over there, Michael.

These shoes have this beautiful

feather edge to them,

and I want to bring that up top

- to accentuate that
- around her neck

on the dress itself.

- I've decided to do some

crazy, abstract illusion

as leggings under the dress,

so I made three

different stencils

- and I'm just layering
- the stencils

- over and over
- and over again.

Damn, that's messing

with my eyes.

- Tiff, how are you doing
- over there?

- I'm doing good.

- You know,
- Tiff's quiet today.

- You're quiet today.
- What's up?

- Yeah, I'm just focusing.

- Tiffany might be worried.

She's really hard to read.

She's my biggest

competitor right now.

She nails every

single challenge.

Like, she never falters,

- but she kept it
- a little bit tame.

It's too subtle,

and the piece doesn't really

quite look like a garment.

The only way that we're gonna

get Tiffany out of the way

is if she slips.

- Are you making a stencil

for all the squares?

- No, no way.

Painting by hand.

- No? You're gonna do those
- all by hand?

- Yeah, totally

- Okay.

If you don't have a stencil

- and you're doing
- that all by hand,

that's a lot of precision

you have to think about,

and then being rushed

on top of it--

Good luck, Michael.

- Guys,
- we only have an hour.

- Oh, my God.

- All right, turn around.

I'm gonna do the back.

****.

Okay, got to work super fast.

- The patent leather

is super fun to create.

I lay down a black base,

and then I put body glue on top

- and just plaster it
- with black glitter

so it looks super shiny,

like patent leather.

And then I come in with white

- and create a bunch
- of highlights,

so it looks glossy

and shining in the spotlights.

- Oh, my God, I don't know.

I'm totally behind schedule.

- I don't think--ahh,
- I'm freaking out.

- Man, that thing's gonna

fall apart on stage.

- No, it's not.

- Michael just doesn't listen.

The judges keep telling

Michael, "Yo, Mike,

- "you got to switch up
- your game.

You got to work more

on body paint, not sculptures."

- My God.

If I don't get this done,

then I'm going home.

I'm totally in freak-out mode

at this point.

I have to get

all these details on there.

- Got to do more,
- got to do it quicker,

got to do it faster now--

Ugh.

- All right, guys,
- we got 15 minutes left.

- Oh, God.

- Someone's going home

after this.

- Close your eyes.
- Close your mouth.

Close all of your holes.

- That's it, painters.

- Time's up.
- Tools down.

- ****

- Wow.

- I am looking around,

and I am thinking, "Wow.

Some of the artwork

in here is amazing."

- I know the judges can't wait

to see your fashion show,

so follow me to the stage.

- I have to prove

that I can get

to the very, very top.

- Welcome, painters.

Hello.

- You had five hours

to design and paint

a high-fashion look

inspired by the fabulous

pair of shoes you chose.

The painter with the most

eye-catching runway look

will win this challenge,

and one of you

will be sent home.

Now, let's welcome back

our esteemed judges:

Craig Tracy...

- Hello, painters.

- Robin Slonina...

- Hi, everybody.

- RuPaul Charles...

- Balenciaga!

- And our special guest judge

for tonight

- is co-host of the talk show
- "The Real."

- She's also a singer
- and an actress

and style trendsetter,

thrilling her 2 million

Instagram followers

with her amazing outfits.

Please welcome Adrienne Bailon.

- Hola, hi.

- I am taken away.

I follow her on Instagram.

She's got a great

sense of fashion.

So I was like, "Yes!"

- I am all about pushing

the boundaries

when it comes to fashion,

so I couldn't be more excited

to be here and see

your paintings.

- Let's start
- the fashion show.

- Man, my model looks hot.

I'm still tripping on

that illusion on the bottom.

Her poofy hair just

made everything come together.

I made sure

I got those details in.

I like the blue roses.

It looks sharp,

and it was just--

I'm really happy.

- I have gold shoes,

and I know I took a chance

by using all these golds

on my model.

So I'm a little nervous,

because it blends in

to her skin

too much,

but I love all the glitter,

and I love all the stones

I incorporated.

She looks like a gold statue.

- My model turns the corner

and lights up the stage.

- There's so many small details
- to apparel

- that most people
- don't take into account,

and making sure that all those

tiny details are on there

was definitely

the biggest challenge.

- My model extends

her hands out

and brings the piece

to a whole other level.

I love the studs

on the shoulders,

- the bald cap,
- the design on her face,

her fingers with the spikes.

I'm feeling like I'm

bringing something

avant-garde to the table,

and the judges will love it.

- Seeing my model

walk down the runway,

- and she's working it
- and strutting,

and it looks like something

that I would really see

on a runway right now.

That black patent

leather is, like,

shining and sparkling

in the spotlights.

It looks so real.

- Whoo!

- Wow, painters,

that was amazing.

The judges want to talk to you

- about your fashionable
- paintings.

Rick, we'll start with you.

- I incorporate the print

of the heels and the triangles.

It's very, like,

abstract, colorful.

So that's pretty much

the main idea all around.

- Rick, I have to ask,

did you use a stencil

for those 3D boxes

at the bottom?

- Yes, I used three

different stencils,

- and it looks simple
- just by looking at it,

but it's very time-consuming.

- There's just so many

astounding details on this.

I just wish it was a little

more contoured to her body.

It just gets a little bit boxy

in her torso.

- And why the blue rose?

- I thought, if I had

to take my model on a date,

- I would have to match
- with me, you know?

So I was like,

"You know, blue with blue

would go good."

- I mean, the amount of detail

that is in this is unreal.

That actually looks

like fabric.

I think it's just extraordinary.

- Thank you.

- Mm-hmm, very badass, right?

- Thank you, Rick.
- No, thank you.

- Tiffany, your turn.

- I wanted to make

her very shimmy, gold.

I actually did a lot

of snake print,

because the shoes had, like,

a snake-alligator-type

print on them.

- It's a disco extravaganza.

- So is this supposed
- to be a dress

or is it a jumpsuit?

- It's a pantsuit.

- Okay.

- I love the peplum.

- I love the little hips
- coming out.

That looks amazing.

The bejeweled belt

is absolutely beautiful.

I wish I could see

more of the snakeskin

that you said you drew on.

- Tiffany, I know

that you were aware

that you were taking a risk

about having something

so low-contrast,

and I have to tell you,

when she first walked out,

it was hard to read

what was going on.

- Tiffany, I kind of wish

that it was a little bolder--

a little bit more contrast.

- I was thinking

of a lot of runway looks,

and I didn't want it

to be too crazy

where it wasn't wearable,

but I also wanted it

to be very showy.

- Okay, thank you, Tiffany.
- Thank you so much.

- Okay, Michael,
- you're next.

- I wanted to make her
- into a creature wearing a gown,

and I wanted to make

her bold and strong

and powerful.

- This is so avant-garde.

I love what you've done

with the dimensions,

- and it fits her body
- beautifully.

- The way you created
- the silhouette

looks so beautiful.

- This piece really exemplifies,

"Fashion is art."

Now, because you started

with all those accessories,

did anything else suffer

because of that?

- I mean, you know,

two hours and a half,

- this is as good
- as you can get.

The line work is not as sharp

as it could be.

- Now, on the back,

some of those checks

in the middle--

it looks like there was

some trouble there.

- I did a lot of things
- that I ended up covering,

because I wanted it to have

several tones of blue.

And then, when I added

the dark navy blue,

it just didn't really work.

- So I guess I missed those spots
- because of time.

- You keep running into

a little time constraint.

- Michael, you know,

I really appreciate

your ambition,

but you also have to make sure

that you're smart,

especially at this level

in the competition.

One mistake and you're gone.

- I'm screwed.

- Okay, Brittney, you're up.
- Okay.

- I wanted an outfit that said,

"I'm here.

I'm fierce."

I wanted something that was

very form-fitting for her,

that hugged her curves

in all the right areas.

- Tell me about your

inspiration on the face.

- I wanted just to be drawn

into her eyes--

a dark, fierce look.

- Mm-hmm.

Very cool.

- I love the color you chose

to go with the red.

- That deep turquoise
- looks amazing.

I think this is

absolutely stunning.

- I want it.
- Thank you.

- Honey, this is what I'm
- talking about with proportions.

- You know what her body
- looks like,

and when she put the heels on,

it all came together

for the house of Brittney.

- It's not quite as creative
- as some of the other things

- that are being sent
- down the runway,

because it's so realistic.

On the one hand,

the technique is perfect.

- You know, is the creativity
- enough?

- Thank you, Brittney.

- Thanks, you guys.

- Okay, Alison, you're up.

- She's kind of like a Greek

goddess slash dominatrix.

Showgirl look thing

going on here.

- Why do you think

those attracted you?

- Those look like something
- I would wear.

I love a platform like that,

and I love patent leather.

- That's a show-stopper.

- I love the fact that

you wouldn't have to tell me

that that was patent leather,

- and I think that's so cool,
- with paint,

to create that effect.

- Alison, yes, yes, no.

- Oh.

- I like so much

about this piece,

but that color--the green

is definitely off,

and it would've taken you

three minutes with an airbrush

to put a little

yellow to that...

- Right.

- And I wouldn't be yapping.

- Right.
- Okay, thank you, Alison.

- Thank you.

- Painters, this is gonna be

difficult for the judges.

They have a lot to discuss.

- Please return to the lounge
- and we'll call you back

when the judges

have made their decision.

- I can't believe

we have to send somebody home.

- We really are down

to our five best painters.

- I was blown away by Rick.

- Rick, man,
- with the details--

like, I swore

I was looking at fabric

that had a pattern on it.

- Wood grain,
- the animal print--

- The animal print!

- The bottom was flawless.

- The precision of that versus,

like, Michael's boxes--

it really showed me

how difficult it is

to be that precise.

- Michael clearly

mismanaged his time

and spent too much time

on accessories.

- But, man, you can't argue

with that silhouette

that that model came out with.

- But I felt that there were

sloppy elements to the paint,

especially on the back,

that were unforgiveable at

this point in the competition.

- How about Alison?

- I really loved Alison.

I mean, how do you make

a dominatrix, a showgirl,

and a Grecian goddess

work together in one garment

and look cohesive?

- How the heck did she make

that look like patent leather

from all the way back there?

That was genius.

- What about Tiffany?

- Well, Tiffany kind of
- surprised us

with that very muted

neutrals and gold color story.

- Tiffany's outfit was

a gorgeous disco extravaganza.

- But did it have enough

"wow" factor

to stand with all the others?

- How about Brittney?

- She worked the shoes up.

I mean, the red hit

in all the right places.

- I think how she made

that body look

with the contour of, like,

the waistline was amazing.

- I wasn't as impressed
- with the back.

When the model turned,

I was like, "Turn back around,

'cause I want to look

at the front some more."

- Okay, so have you

made your decision?

Yes.

- You did absolutely

wonderful work

with your high-fashion looks

inspired by your shoes.

- The judges
- had a really hard time

sewing this one up,

but they've made

their decisions.

Michael...

Tiffany...

you are in the bottom.

- It's weird to see

Tiffany slipping,

- and in a way,
- I'm doing, like,

a little secret celebration.

- Rick, Brittney, Alison...

- Yay.

- You're the top three

painters.

Please step forward.

This was down to the wire,

and there can be

only one winner.

Alison...

You're safe.

You may head back

to the lounge.

- Tick-tock, slick Rick.

Honestly, the truth,

the real deal--

I didn't think you

had that in you.

I didn't.

- Brittney, that was such

a wearable design.

The couture elements

of that face that you painted--

it was gorgeous.

- I still haven't won anything,

so I'm thinking,

"Please, I want this

so bad right now."

- The winner

of this challenge is...

- Brittney...

Rick...

- this was down
- to the wire,

and there can be

only one winner.

Brittney...

you're the winner.

Congratulations.

- Yay!

- Congrats.

Congrats.

- I got one, you guys.

- You got one.

- Good job, buddy.

- Brittney, you made her body

look so banging.

Like, I want that dress,

like, right now.

- It's all yours, girl.

All yours.

Good looking out.

- Great job, Brittney.

- You and Rick
- may go back to the lounge.

- Thank you, guys.

I won one!

You guys,

I finally won one.

I made it to top four.

- Michael, Tiffany...

you are the bottom

two painters.

- I'm a little nervous,
- 'cause I know I took that risk

with those neutral colors,

but the shoes are

gold and brown.

- Tiffany, I really liked that

you tried something different

with your jumpsuit tonight,

- and you went out
- of your comfort zone.

But there wasn't

enough contrast

and "wow" factor

on the runway,

especially when you look

at your competition.

- Michael, your painting

was very ambitious,

and you pushed your creativity.

But the stripes

were unfinished,

and the time management,

Michael,

bit you in the tail again.

- I don't think I've ever

felt this nervous before.

I'm scared.

- The judges had a very hard

decision to make tonight.

Tiffany...

It's time for you to go home.

- I am safe... this time.

Thank you, universe.

- Michael, you may go back

to the painters' lounge.

- Thank you.

All of the painters here

were intimidated by Tiffany

because she's such

a strong painter.

and for the four of us

who are left...

It's a huge relief.

We don't have to worry

about her any more.

- I loved having this journey

and this opportunity,

and, uh, I'm so happy that

I got the chance to be here.

- Well, just know that

you are a very talented,

amazing painter

and an amazing person.

You bring light

to wherever you go.

- Thank you.

- Tiffany,

- please go wash off
- your canvas.

Okay.

I loved having

this experience.

Every piece of it.

- No.

You were always

my biggest threat, girl.

- All of us.

- All of our biggest threats.

- I was so happy to be here.

- I love you guys.
- We love you.

- Love you.
- Bye.

I enjoyed every moment.

But I'm excited for the future,

'cause there's always more.

Bye.

- Next time on "Skin Wars"...

Congratulations on making it

to the "Skin Wars" semifinals.

Brace yourselves

for one wild entrance.

- Oh, my God.

- Special guest judge,

gold medal-winning gymnast

Shawn Johnson...

- Wait, are you allowed
- to use things

that you made previously,

not here in the work room?

- Are you feeling
- a little nervous

'cause your piece

was already created?

- I think that's Michael
- pushing her buttons.

- And this is when their claws

come out.

- It is lovely.

- I am not a fan of artists

creating images like this.
