Ten weeks ago,

you began this competition.

Now you are just one step away

the greatest body painting

competition on earth.

We've been

through 18 challenges.

There's only two more.

It's the end.

One of you will walk away

with $100,000.

That's amazing.

- Everyone has so much at stake
- at this point.

We all sacrificed to be here,

and we all

have worked our asses off

- to get to the point
- where we are now.

To help you celebrate

making it to the finale,

When I came to the competition,

I never got judged before.

I was really nervous.

The winner of this challenge

but to be the person

my family know my talent.

To win the whole thing,

I'm gonna be able

But for this next challenge,

you're going

to have to step it up

because you will be

painting your work

entirely on your models' feet.

- We got feet.
- [chuckles]

I love challenges,

but I've never done this.

Generally, feet smell bad.

They don't look very cute to me.

I'm just not a big fan.

You will each get two models,

and you must create

a heel-to-toe design

on the soles of their feet.

You will have just 1 1/2 hours

to complete your painting.

The winner of this challenge

will get an advantage

in the final challenge,

and it could be the difference

between going home

with 100 grand

or going home empty-handed.

This is the biggest advantage

in the whole competition

'cause this advantage

can help you to win $100,000.

This is

the last fun hurrah moment

before we paint for our lives.

- I want to do, like,
- a coy fishes aquarium,

so, like, I need somehow

to put like this, your feet.

- (Aryn)
- This is hard.

I put this one

kind of right here.

So you have to figure out

how to position the feet

in order to make the kind

of picture that you want,

do it in a creative way.

Luckily my models were clean

and as cute as feet can be.

- Okay, never mind.
- Flip back over.

I got contact with my mom.

- I'm painting today
- the hummingbird,

and the hummingbird

represents, for me, freedom.

And after seeing my mom,

that's what it makes me feel.

It makes me feel free now.

- The arch of your foot.

- That's the worst part for me.

Stop moving, stop moving.

- It's the toes
- that are getting me.

If you have hour and a half,

it's enough time

to complete the challenge.

Oh, my God.

- But what if your models
- are ticklish?

[laughter]

My painting is kind of inspired

by my video from Bud.

So I decided to go with a bat

flying through the night

'cause we met

at Bud's haunted house.

So that's, like, a big part

of our lives together.

- What do you think
- the advantage will be?

Hmm, extra 30 minutes.

- (Aryn)
- I want to win the advantage.

Guys, five minutes left.

Okay, well,

- to take a look at your tootsies.

Hi, Avi.

When I saw my mom today

and it was a relief

that everything is good

and fine, I felt freedom.

That's why I decided

to do the hummingbird.

Did your models have any corns

or bunions?

No, actually,

they're really baby feet.

- Aw.
- Oh.

The use of the toes,

everything kind of blossoming,

flowerlike,

it's a good composition.

- Thank you, Avi.

Lana.

Hi, judges.

I saw my daughter today,

and it means a lot to me

to see her face.

And I thought to create

two fishes in a fishbowl.

Also, they can swim like this.

- Oh, they're swimming,

How did you get those really

intricate lines on there?

- (Lana) I picked, like,
- really small brush,

and I know at this point

of competition,

- you will look, like,
- to every detail.

Hi, Aryn, how did it feel to get

your video message from Bud?

Oh, my gosh.

Because I, like,

saw him in the video,

I decided to do a bat

kind of flying through the night

and a tiny haunted house.

- Definitely
- an interesting layout

and one that I think

is unconventional.

- Your bat's also kind of cute.
- [laughs]

So what'd you guys think?

You know, I could really

feel the emotion in Avi's piece.

Yes.

- (RuPaul) And the way
- he composed the piece,

- the wings were open,
- it felt very free.

It spoke to his story

of freedom.

(Craig) But I wish there was

a little bit more shadows.

I mean, I'm just--

- I'm being hypercritical
- because they're all so good.

Yeah, all right,

let's talk about Lana's piece.

The composition was interesting,

but I thought

it was a little bit obvious

because it was so straight

and there were these gaps

that I was seeing.

Some of the intricate lines

were so tiny,

I couldn't believe

that she could do that.

- It was amazing.
- All right.

Let's move on to Aryn.

There was a section

where the wing wasn't connecting

at all to the bat's body.

- (RuPaul)
- I really enjoyed this piece

just because it felt like

a miniature scene.

- A vignette.

- Yeah, it was beautiful.

So have you made a decision?

- Yeah.
- Yes.

Great, let's go tell them.

Painters, the judges thought

your feet paintings

were just so much fun.

Lana, I really felt your love

for your daughter.

The intricacy of those lines,

I thought, were just exquisite.

The colors were right on.

I really also enjoyed how

you wrapped everything together.

what it's like to be an artist

who has a dream

who really wants to make

that dream come true.

you created an illusion

on the feet of two models.

Now, we are going to kick it up

to a whole new level

and give you five models.

So, in your final challenge,

you must create

a multi-body illusion

that's worthy

of the $100,000 grand prize.

- You will have seven hours.

- Ooh.

Your models' bodies

must be posed precisely

so that together they create

a single breathtaking image.

Oh, wow,

Five whole bodies,

and I've never done it before.

- I'm a little freaked out
- right now.

The good news is,

you're going to get some help.

Each of you will have

two assistants to help you out.

- Nice.

Fernello is back.

Fernello and I worked together

on a previous challenge,

and we definitely have

butted heads in the past.

- She looks like
- a ticking time bomb.

- I don't know
- what I'm getting with her.

- What made you think
- she was a ticking time bomb?

- Women in general
- are ticking time bombs.

- Oh!

- I'm just saying.

- This guy.

[laughter]

Well, Avi, because you won

the first challenge,

you will get

to pick one assistant,

and the rest of them

will be assigned

by the luck of the draw.

Who's it gonna be?

[dramatic music]

Kyle.

[laughter]

Me and Kyle are so close,

and he's a very creative person.

Kyle, congratulations.

- (Avi) I'm so happy
- that Kyle took it.

I mean, we friends

even before the show.

I'm so proud of him.

I know everything

that I will tell him,

he will do in a perfect way.

This is to find out

who will be Aryn's first helper.

Whoo-hoo!

- Rachel.

- I knew it. Yeah!

Rachel, she's definitely

ticking time bomb material.

You know, all the hair dye,

- you know,
- kind of gets to her brain.

Lana's first helper,

I am so happy to be back

knowing that I'm gonna get

a chance to help Lana to win.

Avi's second helper, Rio.

- Once again, my man.

- I know a lot of people
- feel like

- I have, like,
- some type of animosity.

Rio, I'm sorry to say

you're going home tonight.

Judges, this is just BS.

We deliberated.

- I just spoke
- an opinion of my mind,

and it came off

malicious and mean.

So, Lana, that means you

are reunited with Cheryl Ann,

your competitor

from the last challenge.

(Lana) I don't know how

Cheryl Ann will be okay or not

to be assistant

in this situation.

- I hope
- she's not holding anything,

like, against me at this point.

Yay.

- Being knocked out
- of the competition

by Lana is bittersweet,

but at the same time,

gonna brush my shoulders off.

I can paint better.

to create a plan with them.

I think, when it comes down

to it, you stand pretty strong,

- so you should be confident
- and feel this one.

- I worked
- with Kyle and Rio before,

and we came out very happy.

- I will be proud,
- if we're gonna win it,

we can actually say

we win it together.

But, you know,

I think the other teams

are gonna have a lot of trouble.

You could do a scorpion

and have her placed

- on top of the box, and her feet
- could come together.

But scorpion, like, yeah,

- kind of, like,
- not my type as well, like, yeah?

I'm a little bit nervous

at this point.

I don't know

how communication skills

will be in this team

'cause Dawn Marie

and Cheryl Ann,

they had problems before.

It's nice to work

with an assistant

who knows how to paint.

An assistant?

(Lana) And I took 30 minutes

from Cheryl Ann,

and she was mad at me after.

- Yeah, I think
- you were more intent

on trying to get back at me.

I chose strong painter

but not the fastest one.

It's really hard to control

different personalities.

Fernello definitely has

something of an ego,

- so I just need
- to make sure that

that doesn't overstep what

I want to see in the painting.

- Good morning.

- Hey.

- (Avi)
- The models are contortionists.

I want to take advantage about

how they can move the body.

I can structure him in a way

with his knees and elbows

that most closely resembles--

- Okay, I tell you what I was
- really thinking about the face.

Okay.

- (Avi)
- But we also have to make sure

they're gonna be really

comfortable for seven hours

and make sure that they can hold

the pose as much as they can.

Stand up for me.

- We're gonna work
- on your backs,

- put, like, all of your backs
- kind of at the same time

to do the caterpillar thing.

My concept

is a metamorphosis

from a caterpillar

to a butterfly,

and I want it to represent

kind of my Skin Wars journey.

- Mainly the brightest
- and then, like,

- if we want to do some shading
- and stuff like that--

- We can do that there.
- Yeah.

- I just want to make sure.
- Okay.

I'm worried about working

with Fernello and Rachel.

They were painters that left

earlier in the competition.

It's frightening for me

because everything I do

has to be amazing.

Guy on the right,

your arm is perfect.

- Guy on the left,
- your arm needs to come up.

I'm painting exotic blue crab

inspired from my childhood

- when I was hunting for crabs
- with my dad.

- Do we want them each
- to hold a pearl?

- We could have them use those.
- Oh.

- Oh, yeah, that's super clever.
- That's all the pinchers.

and this is the symbol

of a dream.

It's how

we're in this competition

and we going

to reach our dreams.

Okay, now from that part,

I'm gonna try to bring

some creativity about poses

to impress the judges too.

My final painting, I'm deciding

to create a chameleon

as the big image,

but this chameleon,

it's built

from five different animals.

Each model will be

a separate animal,

so six body paintings in one.

If I can pull this off,

there is a big chance

that I'm the champion.

Kyle, can you help me

for a second?

This part, this arm,

it's these arms.

I'm not quite sure if Avi made

the best decision picking Kyle.

I know that

Kyle is his best friend,

but strategically, I know

I would've chosen someone else.

Fernello's got

three big airbrushes out,

and he looks like a cowboy.

Oh, yeah,

turn you into a butterfly, yeah.

I know I'm here

to be a "helper,"

- but I wouldn't call myself
- a helper.

I'm more of a consultant.

I'm a visual artist.

- So the wiggles on the inside
- is fuchsia and purple?

Yeah.

- So just a black line?
- Yeah.

So that's what I was gonna do

is just a big, thick black line.

- Is that okay?
- Perfect.

- How many black lines
- do you want?

These can kind of have,

like, a blackout line,

- and then we can do some
- texture stuff with it, yeah.

(Aryn) Rachel's questions

are very, um, distracting.

You want me to not do details

on him and just go to the green?

Come on, Rachel,

you can do this.

- This could be so good
- if you could just do it right.

My biggest fear is coming true.

- You know what I mean?

This challenge is a big deal

because it's the last chance

for you to show your best work,

and it's really intense.

- It's so hard
- to paint on underwear.

Today our challenge is to create

a multiple-body illusion,

to incorporate five models

and a beautiful design,

and do it in seven hours.

I got it. I can just do

this blend, so you can do--

Yeah, I got it.

Okay, I'm just trying

to make it match.

You can feel the tension

between Cheryl Ann

and Dawn Marie.

- Take it to the top
- of the knee.

- Yellow into red, I got it.
- It'll match.

(Lana) I need them kind of,

like, separated.

Can you put, like,

more texture on her legs?

Like, more dark blue.

- (Cheryl Ann)
- Okay, you got it.

I feel like

Lana is very headstrong.

- Mm, too dark.
- Too dark?

- So what do you want me
- to take off?

And could you

blend this part?

I know what I'm doing.

It's just so annoying.

Can I have the boys scoot over,

like, a couple inches that way?

At this stage in the game,

you really need to be on it.

Your pose needs to be amazing.

- Okay,

- If one person--
- you know, if their arm's up

- and they, like, get tired
- and their arm moves down,

they're all effed up,

so it's just so hard.

What color?

You wanted him, like,

oranges and red fur, right?

So I think

more a groovy light-ish.

- And the scorpion
- should be red.

My final painting, I'm deciding

to create a chameleon

as the big image,

- but each model
- will be a separate animal.

And it's gonna be the scorpion,

the frog, the flamingo,

the cheetah, and the monkey.

This is freaking amazing.

When they come together,

- it's gonna create
- the big picture,

- and it's gonna be
- the chameleon.

- to avoid holes,

and you want to make sure that

the body will touch each other.

- Ah.

This is a blue crab,

- and also, like, I was thinking
- how to place models

in really extreme positions and

use it in an interesting way.

- We have five models,
- so, for crab,

- it's had, like,
- three legs, like, your pinchers,

and there's little antennas.

How long can your models

stay in that position?

- (Lana)
- Maybe, like, once in two hours.

- (RuPaul)
- Oh, my goodness.

Now, Cheryl Ann,

you guys just battled it out.

How are you feeling right now

- about helping
- your former opponent?

You know, after the battle,

I thought to myself, wow,

if Lana and I ever get

the chance to paint together,

watch out, world.

So more like watch out,

Aryn and Avi,

'cause we're gonna be

the winning team, definitely.

(Aryn) My concept is to do

something of a metamorphosis,

and I wanted to go

kind of atypical

- and do
- not hyperrealism with my piece

- but do something
- that's, like,

half kind of graphic-y

and half realism.

So is it gonna be 360?

Because you've got paint

on the back also of the models.

- That's kind of a surprise.
- All right.

- Hmm, mysterious.
- Surprise?

- Yeah.

And, King Fernello,

are these ticking time bombs

getting on your nerves yet?

- Pressure's on her,
- I understand,

- so I'm letting her
- do her thing.

- You know,

I'm feeling pretty solid

about this concept.

My game plan is to use

Fernello and Rachel's skills

to my advantage,

- so I'm definitely letting them
- do the things

that they feel pretty strong at.

I just need to make sure

that I keep them focused.

All right, hold it for me.

- Okay, you guys can go out of it.
- It's cool.

- Yeah, thank you.
- We got it.

- All right,
- let's work on the entrance,

so it's gonna make sense.

Each person gonna go,

and then the second one gonna

come and stand as an animal.

When I looked around and I saw

Avi's creative element,

when you create

an additional element,

you're losing time

to create a main picture.

- I think, really,
- in order of the animal,

it doesn't really matter.

- It does to us 'cause we need
- to know when you want us to go.

- Yes, I think I--
- Yeah.

- (Kyle) Okay, this is the time
- we have to move.

Need to figure out poses first.

Our biggest issue right now is,

time is slipping

out of our hands.

We need to focus more

on the chameleon.

- Look, all he has to do

Avi did bite off more

than he could chew, you know,

but my role right now

is just to do whatever he says.

We only have 15 minutes left,

and we just got

to make it happen.

You know, I'm happy with colors,

creativity, and technique.

For crab,

I used 50/50 airbrush and brush.

I was adding moss

as a more creative element

and also to look

more organically.

(RuPaul)

Oh, my God, look at those eyes.

I was really, like,

proud of what we did.

I did my best.

I put all my skills

collected in this.

So my five models coming in,

and they're starting to perform

like different animals.

My goal is to create something

that the judges

never saw before.

It's not just

one multi-body painting.

I did five people

look like animals,

- and to bring everything together
- to look like one animal,

it's not easy.

I totally think the piece

on the stage worth $100,000.

All the creativity

and the detail,

I'm proud of myself right now.

Yes!

[laughs]

- (Aryn)
- Throughout the competition,

I have definitely come

into my own,

so the caterpillar

is essentially symbolic

of my beginning.

- Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle.
- Wiggle bug.

And then this caterpillar

transforms into the butterfly,

which is me as a strong,

powerful, confident painter.

- Oh, crap.
- I like it.

- Yes!

- That is epic.

- (Aryn) I really like the idea
- of the transformation

and kind of a bright

versus dark color palette.

And then I also

put those creepy elements

- that are kind of my signature
- to be in there,

like the skulls in my butterfly

just to make it fun

and more Aryn-y.

- [laughs]
- All right.

- Whoo!

Wow, painters, you have

really outdone yourselves.

And now the judges

want to talk to you

about your final work.

Lana.

(RuPaul) Minds have been blown,

absolutely.

You know, I love the shininess

on some of the legs

and the gradation and the color,

how vibrant it is.

Crab-solutely fabulous.

(Robin) I mean, I just want

to snap off one of those legs

and bite into it.

Lana, we gave you a challenge,

and you met it.

Now, I am completely baffled

about the pearl.

Because the claw isn't closed,

that pearl is just,

like, impaled

on one of the little pinchers.

I feel like your model

on the left side of the photo

has got their head

right in the crook of the elbow,

so you get that feeling

- that that's the thicker side
- of the pincher,

- where on the right side,
- you know,

your model didn't quite have it

touching the crook,

- so there's
- that little gap there.

What would winning

$100,000 mean to you?

I'm planning to open

body painting studio

in San Diego

to have my own schedule

- and spend more time
- with my daughter.

- tell us about your final piece.

(Aryn) I wanted to kind of

illustrate my journey here.

- So it starts out
- with the caterpillar,

and then when it transitions

to the butterfly at the end,

it's essentially my art

and, like, blossoming

throughout the competition.

- (Robin)
- I've seen a lot of butterflies,

you know, as I'm sure you know,

but you completely blew me away

because you just took it

to this completely new level

that I have never seen.

Aryn, I would've

brought the center

in a little tighter

just to accentuate the wings.

- Yeah, mm-hmm.

- Increasing the hourglass.

- (Craig)
- But what hit me was the power,

the design, the color,

all just being outstanding.

(RuPaul) This image reminds me

of some of the disco albums

that I love so much

where this strong woman

is saying, "Here I am.

I am not afraid of my freedom."

And it just really speaks to me.

All right, Avi,

tell us about your final piece.

(Avi)

So I choose to do the chameleon,

and I decided what gonna be,

like, amazing

if I can create each person

to be individual animal,

- but then
- when they coming together,

they're creating

a totally different animal.

- (Craig)
- I'm in love with this piece.

The color is so dynamic,

but that's not

what does it for me.

It's all of the creative

elements that you've added to it

to make a mouth to then have

an arm come out as a tongue.

(Robin) I was having a little

trouble with the center.

I wanted to see it so badly,

and yet the midsection

is a little bit confusing

and unclear.

But you provided us a spectacle

when those people came onstage

and how beautifully rendered all

of the flipside animals were.

What would the $100,000 mean

to you?

My mom got married

for the second time,

and I wasn't there,

and then my stepdad passed away

last year,

and I wasn't there.

And all the--what my mom

went through was so hard for me

to live so far away

and not support my mom.

And this would mean a lot

to win this $100,000.

28 years old and that much

burden, that's a lot.

- (Rebecca)
- Thank you, Avi.

I can't even explain

how bad I want it.

- Okay, judges,
- what you think?

This is the hardest thing

that we've ever had to judge.

We really wanted the eye

to be tricked,

- and we wanted
- to be blown away.

Lana blew me away because I knew

immediately it was a crab.

- And then I started
- seeing the bodies,

like, oh, my goodness,

that's a body right there.

- (Craig)
- I think that Lana focused

like a laser on her piece,

and she put everything

into that finished image.

My one issue that I had

with Lana's piece--those claws?

- It was just like the claws...
- Oh, I see.

- (Craig) Came straight up
- out of the body of the crab.

It just was

a little technical issue.

- (RuPaul)
- Right, right.

(Craig) Aryn's piece, if you

showed it to me right away,

- I wouldn't know
- it was a butterfly.

(Robin) I wasn't looking

for a natural butterfly

because it sort of

became symbolic for me.

It spoke so much to

Aryn's transformative evolution.

- (Craig)
- I love what it represented,

and I love the style

and technique

that it was painted in,

but it's a multi-body

illusion challenge,

and I'm looking

for five bodies

to blow my mind by creating

a transformative painting.

As far as overall creativity,

Avi's presentation

and the quality of the animals

painted on the flipside

of his models,

he basically did

two challenges in one,

but I think he could've

had a little bit more highlights

on that back torso section.

(Craig)

I love that tongue, that mouth,

that eye, and those actual

functional legs.

- I love the head,
- and I love the tail.

The middle for me was just

a bit unclear,

and that final pose

affected my feeling

about the overall piece.

The back had, you know,

a little gap in it,

- so it kind of broke
- the illusion there for me.

The front leg

was too far back.

And the eye, for me, could've

definitely had more shadows

and highlights on it,

which is a super smart thing

putting it on the hand,

but it should've popped more.

Okay, judges,

there's $100,000 on the line.

What's it gonna be,

- the chameleon, the butterfly,
- or the crab?

I mean, it's kind of hard

to compete with Avi

when it comes to creativity

- during
- this particular challenge...

Absolutely.

Because he was just--

overwhelmed us

with his creativity.

But technically,

my favorite was the crab.

(Craig) I also love

that Lana's creativity

showed up in her pose options.

- Right.
- You know?

- That model
- coming over the top...

Yeah.

To create those antennae,

that's kind of genius.

That's kind of genius.

The crab and the butterfly

are kind of neck and neck

as far as powerful final images.

We're getting to see

Aryn's greatness

right here on this stage.

You know, overall,

the three paintings

were so beautiful

and had so much character

and heart,

it's almost impossible

to decide.

Creatively we have a victor,

and technically

we have a victor.

It's gonna be

that final image,

I think,

that makes all the difference.
