- The Planet Eater -

[beeping]

We're getting a reading
on an unidentified object

dead ahead.

Look, those lights. They're
heading straight for us.

Space freighter calling
unidentified object.

You are on a collision
course. Fear off. Fear off.

It's still coming on.
We're going to collide.

Silverhawks, alert and scramble.

Quicksilver on deck.
- Right-O' good, buddy.

Alert and ready. Double that.

[Copper-Kid] Let's go!

Mayday, mayday. Abandon ship.

Great galactic ghosts.
Silverhawks, launch.

Sling-shooting now, commander.

Hardware to
Brimstar. Do you copy?

Mon*Star here.

Coming home, boss.

We just ate another
space freighter.

What's your mouth like?
I will be addressed as

Mon*Star Planet Master.
- Sorry.

And if you two dummies
look over your shoulder,

you'll see the Silverhawks.

Uhm, what?!

Blue-grass to Hawk-Haven.

Mirage closing on
unidentified object, commander.

Shall we make contact?

No. Follow it. I want
to see where it's going.

Will do.

All right, Buzz-saw.

We leave those metal
chomps light-years behind us.

Hang on, Hawks. I'm
turning up the wick.

The Mirage must not
catch the Sky-chomper.

Wind-hammer!

Yes, Planet Master.

Whip up something
to stop the Silverhawks.

How about a galactic whirlwind

that'll rip their wings off?

What in blue thunder is that?

[screaming]

Blue-grass, give us a report.

I'm losing her. All
directions are negative.

What do you advise, Steel-heart?

Cut in the afterburners
and go to emergency boost.

She means it's time
for strategic withdrawal.

What you Steel-head wonders
really mean is get the heck out of here.

Mirage to Hawk-Haven. Pulling out.

Shall we regroup
and try it again?

No. We can't risk the Mirage.

Break off and head for home.

Permission to send Tally-hawk
on photo surveillance, commander.

Do it, lieutenant.

[Screaming]

Go, Tally-hawk. Cameras on.

[laughing]

We blew them away, Mon*Star.

Now, land the
Sky-chomper, Wind-hammer.

That's the tenth ship the
Sky-chomper has eaten this month.

At this rate, there won't be any
space vehicles left in our galaxy.

The question is, why?

What is Mon*Star up to?

Well, can't we find out
more from Tally-hawk?

Not even Tally-hawk
can see through that junk.

That interference is part
of Mon*Star's defense shield.

Yes. Now, can you devise
a way to break through?

I'll work on it with Will
and the kid, commander.

Where is the kid?

In the machine shop, sir. He...

What? Everyone is to
be in a Mirage debriefing.

Those are the rules.

If that kid isn't here in ten
seconds, he goes on report.

I'm going to count down.

Ten, nine, eight,

seven, six, five,

four, three, two,

one, zero.

Oh Oh!

Mister, you're grounded.

Oh oh...

Let's go.

What in blazes is that?

That blasted kid.
I grounded him.

Doesn't he do
anything I tell him?

He's unpredictable, commander.

It's one of the things that
makes him so valuable.

[groans]

What's that?

Someone's trying to get under
our defense shield at terrific speed.

Hit them with the whirlwind.

Whirlwind activated.

Oh oh!

[laughs] We've got him, Mon*Star.

Buzz-saw, a Silver-hawk
is coming down.

Cut him up as soon as
he touches the ground.

Sure thing, boss.

Eh, Mon*Star.

[laughs]

Tally-hawk.

The kid.

He must think that if he finds
out what Mon*Star is up to,

he can straighten
things out with you.

We've got to get
him out of there fast.

Don't just tell me about it. Do it.

[laughs]

Stand by to chop one
silver-hawk down to size.

Hey, mate.

What happened?

He's broken into
Buzz-saw’s robot code, sir.

That copper kid is
controlling Buzz-saw.

This is Mon*Star.
Destroy that silver-hawk.

I'm on it, boss.

Hold it right there, silver-hawk.

That little bag of spare
parts is getting out of range.

He's getting away.

I'll activate a snag missile, sir.

Hey, silver-hawk.

Come out, come
out, wherever you are.

Fire snag missile.

Got him.

Snag in return pattern.

Now overhead.

So glad you dropped in.

You want to see, why we send
the Sky-chomper to eat rockets?

Take a look.

You see, under the pile of
dead rockets is a living force.

Hey, Skipper. We're getting
an image from Brimstar.

That means the kid is sending
back pictures through Tally-Hawk.

Sky-chomper fuels a gigantic
force hidden under that rocket pile.

This breeder reactor
has one purpose.

Watch.

We call it the Planet Eater.

[Laughs]

Do you realize what this means?

Mon*Star has the power
to literally eat us alive.

Recommended course
of action, Quicksilver?

No choice. We're going in. Now.

The silver-hawks are
entering our airspace again.

Stand by for full defense.

Look. Mon*Star's fortress is
down there. Prepare to launch.

Go, go, go.

Release.

Dive.

I'm getting a triple image.

The silver hawks have jumped.

Those bird brains, give
me a whirlwind force ten.

Laying on whirlwind.

Whirlwind approaching.

Wing it.

Cluster.

Activate nozzles.

It's a little longer.
Hang on, silver-hawks.

We did it.

They have corrected.
They are still diving.

Shall I launch the snag?

Yes. Launch. Launch.

Snag missile.

Talons out.

They beat the snag. The
silver-hawks are through our defense.

Enough of your failure,
you miserable Billy goat.

I will settle this
myself. Yes-man?

Yes, Mon*Star. Yes. Yes.

Ready the
transformation chamber.

Yes, Mon*Star, Yes. Yes. Yes.

I'll get right on it.

Do it now!

Yes. Yes. Certainly.

Planet master. Sir. Yes.

Yes.

Moon*Star of limbo.

Give me the might,

the muscle,

the menace of Moon*Star.

Know what to do, Steel-heart?

I didn't take basic
training for nothing.

Once we set these explosive
charges, we'll only have

three minutes to rescue
the kid and get out of here.

Look.

Mon*Star and sky-runner.

We can't leave you
to face them alone.

The important thing is
to get the kid out of here

and blow up the planet eater.

I'll handle Mon*Star.

He's right, Will. Let's go.

You'll never win a laser
duel against me, silver-hawk.

Dog-gone, that's
some fight I'm missing.

I'm not waiting any longer.

Let's ride, old faithful.

Come on, old saw. Let's
give Mon*Star a helping blade.

Well, looks like Mon*Star's
hired help is pitching in.

But first things first.

That old boy needs
some music to charge to.

You got the kid?
- No.

But the charges are set. This place
is going to explode in 45 seconds.

All aboard. Non-stop
to Hawk-Haven.

No. We have to get the kid.

Yes. Yes.

At least I'll fix it so they
can't rescue you Kid,

And you won't like
it in deep space.

There he is. Let's get airborne,
Hawks. We've got to catch him.

We're not finished yet, Yes-man.

at least we've got that
wretched copper kid.

Yes... No, we haven't, boss.

What?!

I deep spaced him.

Ah! You fool.

No, boss. Not the light star.

He was all we had and
you deep spaced him?

But boss, he'll never survive.

I've got a visual
on him, Blue-grass.

Steer 32 degrees.
Elevation 47.07.

Check.

Easy does it.

Hooray.
- Hooray.

Great flying, cowboy.

Very precise.

Creditable.

Hey, kid. Are you okay?

Sorry about that.

You're just going to have to see

where you've been and
not where you're going.

And in about one second, you're
going to have the best view of all of us.

Howdy, kid. You ready
to score some points?

Ready, Blue-grass.

All right,then. Blast off.

Today, kid, we're leaving Earth
and traveling in the opposite

direction from the sun, toward the
outer planets of our solar system.

Hey, we're coming
up on the next planet,

the fourth one from
the sun. You see it?

Venus.

What's the name of this red planet
that's a next door neighbor of Earth?

The right answer
is worth three points.

Mars.

At-ta boy. Mars. That's
right. Three points.

Okay, the next planet after
Mars is coming into view now.

You can't miss it. It's
the biggest planet of all.

For three more points,
kid, tell me its name.

Jupiter.

Bingo. Right again, kid. It's
Jupiter. Three more points.

Well, you're six for
six today, kid. Not bad.

Hope you do that well tomorrow.

Thank you.

[End Theme Song Playing].
