RuPaul's Drag Race: Untucked! (2010–…): Season 15, Episode 4 - Supersized Snatch Game - full transcript

The queens reflect on their Snatch Game performances; Amandla Stenberg stops by and counsels the queens on character acting.

- I love every last one of you,

no matter how much
I hate all of y'all.

- If you don't
have star quality...

- Baby.
- Get the out of here.

- This is your moment!
Have it!

- This is "Untucked,"

backstage of the competition

to become America's
next drag superstar.

Girl, if you're not
watching "Untucked,"

you're only getting
half the story.

- Prep "Untucked" cameras
on the main stage.

- Copy.

- Rolling, rolling.

- Luxx Noir London,

Malaysia Babydoll Foxx,

Anetra,

Robin Fierce,

Salina Es Titties,

Sasha Coby,

Jax, Amethyst...

You are all safe.

You may leave the stage.

- Whoo!

- We made it through
Snatch Game, bitch.

- Honestly,
if you are complaining

about being safe in
a Snatch Game challenge,

bitch, go home right now,

because many a many
a many of girls

have failed completely
at Snatch Game.

So... safe.
That's a win for me.

Oh my God.

- I have this concept
that whenever I'm safe,

I am not, like, bottom safe.

And that's a new
category that I'm making.

You can be high safe,
or you can be low safe.

I was high safe.

- Rebo "Untucked" cameras
to the Werk Room.

- Send the queens in 3, 2, 1.

Ah.

- We made it
through Snatch Game!

- Yes!

- This Snatch Game definitely
showed the real Amethyst.

And I'm safe.

- Watch out for the bat.

The big-ass titties, bitch.

- Girl, Snatch Game
is the ultimate, like,

fear of my life.

You know what I mean?
Like, and we survived, bitches!

Next week better be
a dance challenge.

- Yeah.

- And I'll be right back
up there in the top,

walking that duck with Anetra.

- All right,
I can't wait anymore.

I'm sorry.
- What?

- Is tonight the Sugar
and Spice lip sync?

- Oh.
- How did they do?

- They committed to their
characters very well.

- Mm-hmm.

- Maybe a little overly.
- Yeah, 'cause...

- Who said white girls
can't twerk?

- Why is the white girl
twerking?

They say I'm problematic?
She's problematic.

Someone cancel her.
- You know what?

You can shut it, Jesus Jugs.

- Bottle blonde.

- Brow zipper.
- Lip syncer.

- Well, Miley, Miley...
- Has-been.

- Never-was.
- Sweetie, you have

something on your face.
- Don't touch me.

- Sugar was sucking the air
out of the entire room.

We couldn't get words in.

- There's a finesse
about Snatch Game

where you take your spot,
you go and make your shot,

but then allow it to be a dance
that you're playing with.

- That's the fun of it.

- I think the pressure
of the Snatch Game is

if Ru is not, like,
giving you what you need,

then it's like, it don't count.

- And for that reason,
like, the back and forth

that wasn't happening
between you and Ru, Malaysia.

- Yeah.
- I honestly thought you were

going to be in the bottom.
- Yeah, right.

- Coming into this
competition, it like...

I feel like I'm back at
square one all over again,

like trying to prove myself.

And it's so hard.

I just don't...

- I get it, babe.

- If you are, like, safe,
that's not them saying

that you didn't do a good job.
- Right.

- So I wouldn't
take it as you having

to start from square one.
- Yeah.

- I'm happy
I'm not in the bottom,

but I really have
to step my game up.

I've been safe for three weeks.

It's easy to get in your head.

I'm hoping that I
don't get in my head

throughout this competition.

But yeah, it's definitely
easier said than done.

- Let's talk about the runway.

Like, I love everybody
interpretation...

- Yes!
- Of beautiful nightmare.

- I'm just a zombie,
and these are actually

my baby daddies that I killed.
It's their foreskin.

I made a...

- So your biggest
fear is circumcision?

Don't say it!

Isn't that how Jesus died?

- I ain't laughing
at no Jesus jokes.

God already done
spared you, and you

still playing with him?

- It was one of my
jokes I keep saying.

- You did not have enough.

- I heard something
about lights flickering.

What happened?
- Yes! I was in my confessional

and I was talking
about the Virgin Mary,

and the electrical
lights went out.

My take on the Virgin Mary
is a horny virgin.

I don't know.
I'm nervous.

Who knows
what's going to happen?

Ooh, you see?
God is... God is punishing me.

Ah!

- This is some
Passion of the Christ tea.

- I heard that people died on
set or something like that.

- What? Where?
- Yeah "The Passion of Christ."

- Bitch.

- Oh.
- Oh, hello.

- And they're back.

- Girl!
- Hi.

- I see smiles.
I see frowns.

- What is the tea?

- Ladies, how we doing?

- Hi, baby.
- How are we doing?

- How comfortable are
you guys on this couch?

- I mean, we're safe.

- I will give
the realistic breakdown.

- Okay.
- Okay, so first and foremost,

at the top, of course, myself,
Marcia, and Loosey.

- Loosey.
- I knew I did really well,

'cause I've done Joan
for a long time.

But Ru said we knew her,

and she would have loved this.

- Yeah.
- That's amazing.

- Round of applause for Loosey.

- Cheers to you, girl.
- You oughta be proud.

- It was amazing.
- I mean, I personally think

I was behind you in the ranking

because they got my Snatch Game.

They liked it a lot.

RuPaul was like, you just need
to, like, drag things up more.

Like, this should have
had shoulder pads.

- Marsha, being realistic,

I don't
think you'll be behind her,

because your look
is kind of cheap,

and I don't
think during Snatch Game

that you were that funny.
- Whoa.

- Not to be a bitch, but,
like, I'm just being serious.

Like, look, I'm not saying
it's ugly or busted.

It's just kind of, like,
on the cheaper side.

- No one said "cheap."

- That's my verbiage.

That's what I took from it.

If they were giving
you critique,

I don't think that you're
taking it for what it's worth.

Just like you were like, oh,
I'm working on my makeup.

You covered your brow to put
it right back where it was.

- Her brow was ten times
higher than it was before.

- I understand
what Mistress is saying.

Like, it's not as amped up
as everybody else,

but, honestly, you look amazing.

You wanted to show
the world who you are,

and this is what your drag is.

- I just think that as sisters

and that now
we're getting closer,

we're starting to understand
people's drag,

and it's getting...
- Sure, but it could have

been said in a nicer way.
- Okay, but also...

Okay, I really apologize
if you took offense to that,

because I'm not saying
you look cheap all the time.

- Only most of the time.

- I just think that you saying
that you would be second,

I don't think that is correct.

- This is what the winners
are talking about.

I can't wait to hear
about the bottom three.

- Are you just gonna forfeit
the girl

that's left here
to give a chance?

- If they say one of us,
we're both out.

- We're either both in
or both out.

- Girl!

- Girl!

- Rolling on,
"Untucked" in the Werk Room.

Let's get all cameras up.

- After Snatch Game,
obviously, I was down.

I don't do improv, you guys.

And I know that some of you
guys also don't do improv,

and you guys did amazing.

I can't pull things out
of my ass just like that.

I'm not that quick.
I'm not witty.

I know you guys tell me
I'm pretty a lot,

and thank you so much for that.

- You're so pretty.

- I know I could
have done better.

But if I do have to
lip sync tonight,

I'm going to kill it.

- Well, what did they say?

- They had seen enough.
It's over, girls.

- I don't think they said
"We've seen enough."

- No, I understood
the critique completely.

But you know what?
We have, like, all of these

characters we want to do.

Like, Sugar and Spice,
we have alter egos ourselves.

Like, we have Salt and Pepper.

- We have "The bigger, the
better with Salt and Pepper."

- You have your
canned bits, but they

want you to leave that.

- Every time you
step on that stage,

you show them a
different side of you.

That's what they want
to see, you know?

And worse comes to worse,
there's maybe just

one of you left here.

So that means that
you still have to...

- Oh, we're going
to leave together.

- Apply it.
- If they save one of us,

we're both out.

- We're either both in
or both out.

- I'm now questioning
your seriousness

in this competition.

- Yeah, are you just going
to forfeit the girl

that's left here
to give a chance?

- Don't you worry, girls.
We will give a show.

And it's either going
to be a double shantay,

or we're both out,
I'm telling you.

- This is honestly a nightmare.

The only time I want to
be lip syncing against her

was at the end when we would
be getting a double crowning

or something.

She's my everything.

She's the person that makes me
feel, like,

loved and special.

And like, I don't want
to leave without her.

This experience
has only brought us

so much closer,
which I'd never thought

would be possible, and...

She's just, like, such a light.

- If one of y'all
do have to leave,

do you not think
it would be good to still

stick it out and show
that you can still do it

and do it for the other
sibling that is not with you?

- I think my heart
would break too much.

But you know what?
It's a bummer

because they haven't got
a chance to know the real us.

- Yeah.
- We have such a story to tell.

Like, we haven't
even got into...

- Yeah.
- Anything.

No one even knows what
we have been through

in that house, in that suburbs,
being drag queens.

We haven't told a damn soul,
because it is so...

pffff... it's whatever.

We have been misunderstood
by our family, especially,

and everyone around us
our whole lives.

We were bonded so close
together because this one

made me feel like I belonged.

We felt different
from the world,

so we bonded together
even more close.

- You guys are like
young little queer babies,

you know what I mean,
who haven't, like,

fully realized
your inner selves yet.

There's obviously a lot of
trauma with your family.

- Yeah.
- Like, I tried to ask you guys

about your parents,
and you guys blew me off.

So there's obviously
something there

that you guys haven't touched.

And I feel like
when you touch that,

and when you open up
and get to find

your authentic selves with that,

you guys will flourish.

And that's okay.

- Maybe I may just not be ready
to express what has happened,

because it is just so fresh.

- Yeah.

- When we have been
our true selves,

it was never celebrated.

- I'm so like...

that's why it's very easy for me

to be crazy and, like,
"embarrass" myself

because my whole life,
I'm made to feel, like,

embarrassed
for the things that I like.

- It is a safe space here.

- We have Yvie.
- Love it.

- Bob.
- Work.

- Uh, we have Simone,

and then Raja.

- Can my face go on
the back of it?

- Girl!

- Girl!

- We have been shamed
by our entire family.

And it's so interesting.

I was like, oh, you have
all these followers,

all this fame, like...

we couldn't even
look at our parents.

Like, they would come up,
and we would have to literally

hide in our closet.

Like, we couldn't even say
Sugar and Spice in our house,

'cause they were so embarrassed,

especially when we started drag.

Our mom...

I-I overheard her say
to our dad,

"This is hideous.
Why are they doing this?"

They don't even know we're here.

- Oh.
- Like...

- The amazing part about this
whole thing is that

although
you have the outside family

that don't really accept you
and embrace you,

just getting to know y'all
over these past few weeks,

like, I've really
grown to love y'all.

So I want y'all to know, like,
forget y'all real family.

Y'all really have a
family, like, with us.

- Coming into this, like,
we have just been craving,

like, to relate to other people.

- Yeah.
- And the thing is right now,

like, I mean,

I have never related
to you more, you know?

- Mm-hmm.
- Like, a lot of us

have felt the shame
of being ourselves.

- I finally see the facade
coming off of Sugar,

and I know that facade
is built on hurt.

It's such a hard thing
when you're a child,

and you... you get love
from your parents,

but that love is just
wrapped in so much shame.

The way that
they've set themselves up

to be looked at as
something perfect,

and, like, something so
beautiful and so strong,

it's such a common queer
experience,

especially with drag queens.

You put on this artifice
that we all put on,

just to cope, just to get by.

- I really appreciate
you because...

- I swear to goodness,

like, you two are like
my younger self.

- I just want to say that,
like you were saying,

if, like, one goes, you both go.

I personally wouldn't
want to see that.

- There are a million different
little Sugars out there

and a million
different Spices out there

that feel that
they're not accepted

and feel exactly how you feel.

- Maybe we could do it for
the other one, I guess.

- If one of you was
still here, you didn't...

like, you didn't
lose your sister.

We're still here
for you, you know?

- Sorry for getting
up there before,

but, like, it just like...
it brings up a lot of emotions.

- Yeah.
- Yeah.

- Say she goes home.

You need to stay here
and fight for her.

Don't you think that would help?

- It's a big decision.

- I think it is a
proven fact that with twins,

there's normally a
more dominant twin

and then a less dominant twin.

And growing up, I was definitely

the less dominant twin.

Like, I was in her shadow,
in a way.

I really would believe in her

more than I would
believe in myself.

I'm fearful of being alone
because my whole life,

I had that bond, that
person, my rock, you know?

- Spice!
- Yeah?

- Spice, come over here.

- I'm back.
I'm sorry, y'all.

I had to have a moment.
- Yeah.

- Spice, they were saying
if one of us does stay...

my heart would break, like,
if one of us was out of it.

But they're our sisters,

and, like,
we could do it for each other.

It'll be okay.
Like, we have y'all.

- Exactly.
- Yes!

- Is a therapist
included with this?

Where's the queen care?

- I love you.
- Love you.

- I love you.
You're everything.

- Now we gotta go
listen to this lip sync.

- Yeah.
- No more tears, bitch.

We're turning the out.

- Hello?

- Hi!
- Hi!

Hey!

- What's up, y'all?
- Yes!

- Okay.
- Give me this look, girl.

- How y'all doing?
- Good.

- Good.

- Okay, I was so nervous
about coming on here,

and I didn't know what
I was going to wear.

But then I was like, okay, you
know what I'm going to do

is I'm going to make
a Gaultier-inspired shirt

that has queens on it.

- Simone!
I see it.

- We have Yvie...

- Love it.
- Bob.

- Work.

- We have Simone and then Raja.

- Yes, girl.

- Can my face go
on the back of it?

- Well, let's see.
If you win.

- Get the printing press
ready, sweetheart,

because we are taking the crown.

- Oh my God, you're
all so mega-talented.

To even be here,
you have to be so brave

and such an incredible artist.

And I'm just so amazed
by all of you.

So thank you for having me.
- Thank you.

- Thank you!
- And all I can say is

don't be afraid to be you.

The harder
you lean into yourself,

the better you'll do.
- Amen.

- That's all I can say.

- Thank you.
- All right.

- Bye, baby.

- Bye.

- I love you.
- Bye.

- She was really sweet.
- Yeah, she was.

- I liked her a lot.
- She's so cute.

- After hearing her words,
I really would

love for both of us to stay,

to show to the judges
what y'all see.

- Yes.
- You know what I mean?

- If... if... if

one of you goes home,

it's the other's responsibility.

- It's the other's
responsibility

to take it for that girl.

You hear me?

And I won't accept
anything less.

- You have a bunch
of sisters here.

And you have a mother from
this point forward, you know?

- Queens, five minutes.

- Pinky swear that if
worse comes to worse...

- So do your thing.
Listen to your music.

Love each other right now.

- Let's do this.
- Right?

- Okay. I love you so much.
- All right.

- I'm trying to
hold it together.

I'm trying to be Strong Spice,
but there's 10,000 emotions.

I don't know whether to cry,
scream, yell.

- My head is spinning.

My heart is racing
a mile a minute.

Me and Spice
could be lip syncing

against each other tonight.

And if that happens, I'm just
praying for a double shantay.

Like, please keep us both.

I have so much more to prove.

- All right, queens.

Time to head back
to the main stage.

- We're both staying.
- We're both staying.

- We're not going.
- We're both staying.

- We're both staying.
Let's show them.

Let's do it.
- We are going all the way.

- Okay, let's 10-10-10.
- Yeah.

- Girl!

- Girl!

Ladies, I've made
some decisions.

Sugar, Spice, the time has come

for you to lip sync

for... your... life.

Ladies, I've made my decision.

Spice, shantay, you stay.

Sugar, sashay away.

- This is surreal.

What person
leaves the competition

and still has such a
huge piece of them there?

This is my best friend.

It has always been us
against the world,

but I honestly just feel
blessed and grateful

that Spice is going to be
able to shine on her own.

And of course, I wanted
to be there to the end.

I wanted to do it all.

But I can only just move forward

with my head held high,

'cause what benefit
is it going to be

for me to leave
with my head down?

Well...

Oh.

This is not how I expected
everything to go down.

But... I don't know.

There's, like,
a silver lining here.

I'm learning that there's no
need to be afraid anymore.

I think I rely on Sugar
as a crutch to be, like,

this crazy, like, personality.

But it really is just, I guess,
like, a defense mechanism.

Up until today,
I haven't heard that...

People like me for me.

And of course,
I wish I would have been

able to continue with Spice.

But we're going to be able to
really be our own people now,

and I am grateful.

I feel free.

There's power in,
like, standing alone.

We have letters,
ah, from Mistress.

What does she have to say?

"It was so amazing getting to
have this experience with you.

"This is just the beginning.

"You did what you set out to do,

"and you gagged the girls.

"This chapter of your
journey is over,

"but, baby, after this,
the real games begin.

I love you, daughter.
Mistress."

I have a drag mom now.

I came into this
with a drag twin.

Now, I have a drag mom.

I'm so happy to have connected
with all these queens.

That's all I've ever wanted.

I'm really happy to have
all these amazing people

in my life.

So I'm excited.

You know, my journey here may
have been short and sweet,

but my name is Sugar,
so it works.

Well, Werk Room, I'm going to
go home and eat

'cause you know, the only thing
better than getting out of drag

is being able to be ugly after.

And I'm not talking,
like, actually being ugly,

like spiritually being ugly.

So I'm going to be ugly for a
while, and then I'll reemerge.

I need to shut up.
Bye.

I'm excited to just be me,
you know,

Sugar without the Spice.

And this is a
breakthrough for her, too.

A car for me.

Wow.

I think she's going to discover

that she's
way more powerful by herself

than she
ever thought she would be.

And when we come back together,

it's only going to make us
stronger

'cause we're
going to know ourselves.

Oh.

"Drag Race" season 15, you had
twins for the first time.

Just don't forget about me.

I know you won't.

Bye.

All right.
