RuPaul's Drag Race: Untucked! (2010–…): Season 10, Episode 9 - L.A.D.P.! - full transcript
[various characters] This is not
RuPaul's Best Friend Race.
-I feel very attacked!
-You're perfect, you're beautiful.
I do not wanna go home.
You just want someone to fight with.
I've had it officially!
[RuPaul] This is Untucked,
backstage of the competition to become
America's next drag superstar.
Girl, if you're not watching Untucked,
you're only getting half the story.
[man] Break on the main stage.
All cameras, re-fo.
[RuPaul] Yvie Oddly...
Nina West...
you are safe.
You may leave the stage.
[Nina]
I'm a little disappointed, honestly.
But it means I get to kill
the competition another day.
I think the kids say slay,
so, I'mma slay all day.
[Yvie] One part of me is,
like, overjoyed to be safe,
but the other part of me
knows that this late in the competition,
I have to make sure I'm doing everything
and that there are no regrets.
So it's, like, bittersweet being safe.
Oh, my God, well?
We're safe. [laughs]
I think that's a good--good start.
[laughs]
This one looks pretty diluted.
I think I'll take that one.
This is well deserved.
I think so. I called us being safe.
Did you really? Yes, queen!
I mean, I really am not happy
about mediocrity
and being, like, middle of the line.
But after Snatch Game, it's nice to know
that I stepped my pussy up
from being the worst to being, like, OK.
It's just, I need to step it up mas.
I'm, like, I'm in this flux, right?
Where it's, like, really good week,
middle of the road week, really bad week.
I think the top is definitely gonna be
Brooke Lynn, Silky, and A'Keria,
and I think A'Keria
is gonna win this week.
No tee, you look just like Asia's
fish face from last season.
[Yvie] I look like how she should have
done the fish face.
[laughing]
-I mean...
-So, who do we think is in the bottom?
I think the bottom's gonna be
Shuga, Vanjie and Plastique.
-Plastique didn't have a face-kini on.
-Yeah, she barely had a face-kini.
So, she barely hit the challenge.
Her whole outfit, it just looked like
a sloppy version of what she usually does.
Oh, you just pulled off
your beautiful lash.
Bitch.
I painted a whole face,
thinkin' I was gonna lip sync.
I mean, but the tee is that
you don't, like, necessarily have to
to turn out a good lip sync.
If I were on the runway,
and I didn't have a face
on underneath my face-kini
and I was fearing
that I was in the bottom,
-I'd be a little nervous.
-So, you're saying that I fucked up then?
[shrieking and laughing]
-So, Nina...
-Yeah... What's up, bitch?
What was your first impression of me?
I was like, oh, here is a really oddball,
eccentric comedy queen
who is unpolished.
Ahh! You boiled me down to a T.
I mean, like,
but I also saw the aesthetic.
I was like, I get this.
What felt comfortable to me
in that workroom walk in,
is to really represent
what I think is the most true about me,
which is bad makeup.
[laughing]
But I also don't think that's a bad thing
'cause that leaves you an area for growth,
just like my area for growth
is not being a super massive cunt
all the time I have an opinion.
[laughing]
I don't know if you ever feel this way,
but sometimes I feel like
no one takes me seriously,
and I think that they think I'm sloppy,
and that I'm a dude in a dress,
and I don't have an eye
or a style about me.
I will say though that after specifically
the judges' critiques and stuff,
I'm loving your makeup
like, ten times, ten times more.
Thank you. I just want to say
before people get here,
that I don't also feel that people
have been necessarily fair to you,
and I don't think
you've gotten a fair rap.
And I think you're a fuckin'
brilliant entertainer,
and I'm honored to be
in this competition with you.
[whimpers]
Truthfully, girl, like,
you are so sickening.
And you represent something
that's gonna give somebody out there,
-a lot of people out there--
-Some weirdo. [laughs]
No, but that's what we all are
in so many different ways, right?
Like, I've asked your opinion,
and you've been honest with me.
You've not just hauled off on me
and said, "I think your runway was shit."
You know what I mean,
you've been real real with me
-on a level that I appreciate but--
-Not everybody else does.
Yeah, your approach kinda sucks.
[chuckles]
But you're young, and if your approach
can match your drag,
you're gonna be sickening.
I really do appreciate the fact
that you're, like, here in my corner,
even if you're not, like,
fighting my fight with me.
[laughing]
[RuPaul] Thank you, ladies.
I think we've heard enough.
While you untuck backstage,
the judges and I will deliberate.
-Oh, hello.
-Oh, hello!
Hey, guys!
[Yvie] Let me make some space
on this here couch for y'all.
What's the tee? What's the tee?
So, I'm definitely lip syncing.
-[Yvie] Why?
-[Nina] Yeah, what happened?
Again, they just said
that I looked pretty,
and that... which I don't get
how this is pretty.
But it's also the fact
that she doesn't have on a face-kini.
Yeah, and they said that I tried.
But there was no depth,
and they didn't like the performance.
Basically, like,
it needed to be organized.
I was at a ten the whole time.
The jokes was, like, boom the whole time.
[Plastique]
I'm actually surprisingly calm.
I was just happy that I stepped out of
my comfort zone and did crazy shit.
So, I didn't have any regret
doing the job that I did,
so, I think that's why I'm calm.
-Who else do we feel is in the bottom?
-[Shuga] Me.
What'd they say about you?
They said...
Michelle said that I was very Shuga,
and she would have liked it
if played it a little more demure.
Um, and that I probably should have
amped it up a little bit more.
Which is kind of the same critique
I got last week.
They said that Silky was definitely
the dominate one in the scene
and that I should have
just been more extra.
[A'Keria] So, do you feel like
you're gonna have to lip sync tonight?
-[Shuga] I think so.
-[A'Keria] Why?
[Shuga] Because they gave me
the critique last week.
I honestly think you're safe,
like, they loved your runway.
I don't know.
Silk, why are you being so quiet?
Are you OK?
This mothafucker is restricting my face.
-[laughing]
-Take it off!
I can't stop looking at you
because you're literally just like...
Michelle is gonna read me, bitch.
Do it, do it.
[cheering and laughing]
Now, give me my cocktail.
I'm gonna drink now!
[mumbling indistinct]
-No, my face was so tight.
-That's hilarious.
Girl, you were literally
just like, whoo!
Bitch, Silky took off her mask
and all of a sudden
it was Notorious B.I.G.,
I was like, "What?!"
[laughing]
-I said come on, Big Poppa!
-[laughing]
Nina, where do you feel like
you're at in the competition.
I feel like I'm not raising up
to where I want to be.
But, I mean, there's a little bit
more competition left
so, hopefully, I have that opportunity.
What about you, Silky, where are you at?
You know, my style is my style,
I'm very simple.
But, like, this competition has pushed me
to, you know, actually do looks,
and that got me
just rethinking everything.
Am I putting my best foot forward
in everything that I do,
or am I just playing it safe?
And so that's one thing
that I got to figure out,
-how to push that envelope.
-Yeah.
And, you know, I just wanna say...
don't read me for filth
because you see a five o'clock shadow.
[laughing]
Bitch!
Uh-oh...
-[all cheering]
-Vanjie!
I've loved Natasha
since Slums of Beverly Hills!
I love Natasha Lyonne,
she's just fantastic!
-[all] Hi!
-Hi!
Hello!
Hello! Hello!
-You are everything!
-You are so sickening!
You guys are so amazing!
You were like a cool Avatar.
[laughing]
-Ooh, girl, you look so amazing.
-Thank you, thank you.
Vanjie, what are you doing
way back there?
Mama,
I'm goin' over these lyrics, just in case.
Uh-oh.
'Cause you know there are
three tops and three bottoms.
Oh, my God,
you have to memorize all that?
[Shuga]
Yes, we've been listening to this.
That's very scary.
Do you guys find this to be
very high stakes and nerve racking?
[overlapping chatter]
Your Oma, her hips fell out.
[laughing]
[Brook Lynn]
And the longer you're here,
because, like, when you first
get here there's 15 girls,
and you can kinda pick and be, like,
"OK, well, I'll be fine this week,
she's going home."
But then, like,
now we're down to what, eight girls?
And everyone's so fuckin' fierce
in their own ways.
You're looking around
like one of us has to go,
and who the fuck is it gonna be?
-Well, everybody looks great.
-[Brook Lynn] You look incredible.
-Thank you!
-That runway was unbelievable.
-Thank you.
-Mama Mia, as they say.
I love seeing you guys up there
and seeing your artistry.
I mean, it's really incredible!
It took me ten minutes to recognize you
'cause I've never seen you
with hair and makeup.
I've only ever seen you
on Orange is the New Black.
-[Natasha] Ah, yes.
-And I was just, like,
-"She sounds so familiar."
-I'm Parker Posey, yes.
That's what you said, I was like, "Oh!"
[laughing]
You were talkin' to Vanjie
and I was like, "Oh, my God!"
Yeah, I know, it's the voice,
the voice is it.
A giveaway, like Doris Roberts
more than Parker, but...
[laughing]
Or Harvey Fierstein maybe.
She did her...
She did her last week for Snatch Game.
Oh, really?
[Brook Lynn]
Do her your Harvey Fierstein.
-Oh, please!
-My Harvey?
-Oh, my God, that's good.
-Hello, it's good to see ya, Natasha.
How ya been, darling?
-This is spot on amazing.
-Thanks, mama!
You've had this, like, incredible career.
I mean Orange is the New Black
is so amazing, and I know I'm a huge fan.
What has been, like,
the best part of all of this?
-Well, thanks--
-[Nina] To me, it's tremendous.
I've been around for a long time. I'm 39.
-So, I've been doing this since I was six.
-[Nina] So am I!
-Six years old?
-I have, like,
-a SAG card from, like, 1985.
-Holy shit!
Yeah, and spending
that much time in a business
makes you sort of see less
of just yourself
and more of kind of how
we're all connected in one field really,
like, that we're all kind of
contributing members to the arts together.
Absolutely, yeah.
And that's good,
it gives you a little perspective.
[laughing]
I love, you know, self-obsession
is one of my favorite things, but...
[Yvie] Although, we wouldn't be
drag queens if we didn't have that.
[Natasha] It is a good idea though,
you know, when you let them
see you in your raw state
as we are on Orange,
with the neon lighting
and the low angles and the no makeup.
[laughing]
And then everywhere you go,
people are always amazed
that you look better,
even if you just roll out the door.
You know what I mean?
'Cause the camera sees everything,
you can't hide.
Well, you are doing a wonderful job,
I would say.
I'm just blending in to the background.
I've been trying to get
a face-kini project going.
Oh, really?
Yeah, I keep thinking...
that way nobody has to worry
if you're an aging actress...
if you're just going to become
a face-kini sort of a star,
-you can work forever.
-That's amazing!
[laughing]
[man] They're all ready for you
back on the main stage.
Good luck to you guys,
you're all so amazing,
you all deserve to win.
Thank you so much!
Thank you, I want a hug!
I'm gonna get my fat ass up.
Let's do it.
You were so funny.
Oh, me?
Thank you, I really appreciate that.
-Wonderful meetin' you.
-It's so nice to meet you.
-You as well.
-See you later.
-I wanna hug, too.
-Oh, look. I'm gonna get so many hugs.
Oh, so special!
[Silky] Oh, that's so sweet!
This little one,
real saucy piece of work over here.
Bye, guys, good luck!
-[Nina] Bye, Natasha!
-Bye. Thank you!
[Nina] It's a video!
[Silky] I wanna see my Granny.
I'm glad I got mine out all last week.
-I did my shout.
-Girl, you shouted in your video, too!
Congratulations to my brother,
Silky Nutmeg Ganache.
That's my brother!
I didn't know too much about Silky.
Aww!
I didn't know anything about drag
or anything like that,
but he kidnapped me,
and so instead of sitting in the car,
I decided to go in there
and see what it's all about.
And I saw Silky.
Silky was an entertainer,
was talented, intellectual.
She was full of all the tricks.
-I heard that, bitch.
-Today!
And the splits.
[laughing]
I mean I never seen something
so big do a split.
[laughing]
[Vanjie]
Why your brother just like your wig?
Good luck, Silky,
you bring home that crown.
-Yay!
-I love you, baby.
Oh, that's my mama!
Bring home the crown,
'cause you know I love to wear 'em.
[laughing]
-Congratulations to my grandson, Silky.
-Oh, that's Granny!
I would never thought
you would be where you are today.
My love is for you.
I adore what you've done.
Hurry home because I miss you so much.
I miss your good cookin'.
I told you I could cook!
Work hard, enjoy your life
and hurry home soon.
-Aww, that's really sweet.
-[Vanjie] Silky.
[contestant] Silky...
A'Keria, your grandmama
had got me last week.
I ain't even got no tears this week.
-[laughing]
-[Brook Lynn] I know!
It's so true though!
[A'Keria]
Now I know you can cook, girl.
What time I need to be ready?
Girl, you know soon as I get back home,
I'm goin' straight to Mississippi
for two weeks.
Does all your family, are they, like,
really close together in Mississippi?
Like, are you the only one
who's really far out?
I'm the only one that's far away
that's in Chicago.
But, like, my older brother
and younger brother is at home.
[Yvie] That was so sweet.
You know, my older brother,
him and his wife
-sponsored me for my first pageant.
-[Brooke Lynn] Really?
-[Nina] Are you kidding?
-Hmm-mm.
-Y'all have the same eyes.
-Oh, really? That is so sweet.
[laughing]
Who's cuter?
You know, I ain't got my makeup on today.
-Tell the truth.
-[Yvie] I think your grandma's
-probably the cutest out of all y'all.
-She's literally 80 years old.
[laughing]
This is for you, Silk!
Why does she looks like that!
Miss Silky!
[laughing]
Miss Silky!
-Cyst, I just want to talk to you.
-Yes.
You are such a humble
and such an amazing queen.
Aww, Plastique.
It was... if it's... If we've gotta
lip sync against each other,
just know that I love you so much.
-[Vanjie] You know, I love you and I'm--
-I know.
Hopefully, we don't have to
go against each other.
-You know?
-I know, hopefully we won't, but...
It's only so much we can do
and I'm so proud.
And, like...
I'm happy that you pushed yourself.
-You know I love you, cyst.
-Love you.
We'll always be fam, and, bitch...
-You know?
-Pleasure.
-Yes, of course. Love my cyst.
-Pleasure's all mine.
-[sighs]
-Now, let's listen to this iPod track!
Let's listen to this track! [groans]
Right? Hopefully.
Ladies, this is your five minute warning,
-so, let's get dressed and get goin'.
-[Nina] Thank you.
[Plastique]
I don't want this experience to end,
and I'm going to do
everything in my power to stay.
[Vanjie] I've learned being here
that I am a fighter.
I don't mind showing them
why I deserve to here
and why I'm not gonna give up.
I've got a lot to prove
and I'm gonna make sure I slay.
[man] All right, ladies,
you're ready for walk in.
I can't see shit.
[exhales]
[man] All right, ladies,
we walkin', we walkin'.
Let's go, let's go.
Whoo! Let's do this thang!
[RuPaul] Welcome back, ladies.
I've made some decisions.
Vanessa Vanjie Mateo... Plastique Tiara...
time's come for you to lip sync...
for... your... life.
Vanjie, shantay, you stay.
Plastique Tiara, you, my dear,
are the real thing.
Sashay away.
[Plastique] I feel lost.
You know, like, when you finally find
this group of people
who really accept you for who you are
and who really care about you.
[sniffling]
No one really wants to leave their place
that they grew to love,
and I love every moment
that I've been here.
And I've learned so much.
[sighs]
What're we doing?
[screams]
Stupid whores, they got me notes.
"Plastique, I am so, so glad I met you
and have found a new friend in you.
You are pretty, but more importantly,
you are fabulous.
I love you. Dad, Nina..."
[laughs] She's so crazy!
Dad, she's my dad. She's my white dad.
I haven't had this many friends
that share my same interest.
I've learned that I'm not alone.
That things will get better over time,
and I've learned that there are
people out there who can relate to me.
And people out there
who loves me for me.
And I now have a family
who accepts me for who I am.
Coming in here, I wanted to win the crown
more than anything,
but now it's not about the crown anymore,
it's about this experience.
I don't want it to end.
Bye, workroom!
If one person, one Asian kid out there,
can just watch me cry on TV,
and have RuPaul pat me on the back
while giving me a hug and be, like,
"Oh, maybe there's somebody out there
who can do that for me, too."
That's worth ten crowns.
I love you guys!
Stay true to yourself and love yourself.
Bye!

-No, my face was so tight.
-That's hilarious.
Girl, you were literally
just like, whoo!
Bitch, Silky took off her mask
and all of a sudden
it was Notorious B.I.G.,
I was like, "What?!"
[laughing]
-I said come on, Big Poppa!
-[laughing]
Nina, where do you feel like
you're at in the competition.
I feel like I'm not raising up
to where I want to be.
But, I mean, there's a little bit
more competition left
so, hopefully, I have that opportunity.
What about you, Silky, where are you at?
You know, my style is my style,
I'm very simple.
But, like, this competition has pushed me
to, you know, actually do looks,
and that got me
just rethinking everything.
Am I putting my best foot forward
in everything that I do,
or am I just playing it safe?
And so that's one thing
that I got to figure out,
-how to push that envelope.
-Yeah.
And, you know, I just wanna say...
don't read me for filth
because you see a five o'clock shadow.
[laughing]
Bitch!
Uh-oh...
-[all cheering]
-Vanjie!
I've loved Natasha
since Slums of Beverly Hills!
I love Natasha Lyonne,
she's just fantastic!
-[all] Hi!
-Hi!
Hello!
Hello! Hello!
-You are everything!
-You are so sickening!
You guys are so amazing!
You were like a cool Avatar.
[laughing]
-Ooh, girl, you look so amazing.
-Thank you, thank you.
Vanjie, what are you doing
way back there?
Mama,
I'm goin' over these lyrics, just in case.
Uh-oh.
'Cause you know there are
three tops and three bottoms.
Oh, my God,
you have to memorize all that?
[Shuga]
Yes, we've been listening to this.
That's very scary.
Do you guys find this to be
very high stakes and nerve racking?
[overlapping chatter]
Your Oma, her hips fell out.
[laughing]
[Brook Lynn]
And the longer you're here,
because, like, when you first
get here there's 15 girls,
and you can kinda pick and be, like,
"OK, well, I'll be fine this week,
she's going home."
But then, like,
now we're down to what, eight girls?
And everyone's so fuckin' fierce
in their own ways.
You're looking around
like one of us has to go,
and who the fuck is it gonna be?
-Well, everybody looks great.
-[Brook Lynn] You look incredible.
-Thank you!
-That runway was unbelievable.
-Thank you.
-Mama Mia, as they say.
I love seeing you guys up there
and seeing your artistry.
I mean, it's really incredible!
It took me ten minutes to recognize you
'cause I've never seen you
with hair and makeup.
I've only ever seen you
on Orange is the New Black.
-[Natasha] Ah, yes.
-And I was just, like,
-"She sounds so familiar."
-I'm Parker Posey, yes.
That's what you said, I was like, "Oh!"
[laughing]
You were talkin' to Vanjie
and I was like, "Oh, my God!"
Yeah, I know, it's the voice,
the voice is it.
A giveaway, like Doris Roberts
more than Parker, but...
[laughing]
Or Harvey Fierstein maybe.
She did her...
She did her last week for Snatch Game.
Oh, really?
[Brook Lynn]
Do her your Harvey Fierstein.
-Oh, please!
-My Harvey?
-Oh, my God, that's good.
-Hello, it's good to see ya, Natasha.
How ya been, darling?
-This is spot on amazing.
-Thanks, mama!
You've had this, like, incredible career.
I mean Orange is the New Black
is so amazing, and I know I'm a huge fan.
What has been, like,
the best part of all of this?
-Well, thanks--
-[Nina] To me, it's tremendous.
I've been around for a long time. I'm 39.
-So, I've been doing this since I was six.
-[Nina] So am I!
-Six years old?
-I have, like,
-a SAG card from, like, 1985.
-Holy shit!
Yeah, and spending
that much time in a business
makes you sort of see less
of just yourself
and more of kind of how
we're all connected in one field really,
like, that we're all kind of
contributing members to the arts together.
Absolutely, yeah.
And that's good,
it gives you a little perspective.
[laughing]
I love, you know, self-obsession
is one of my favorite things, but...
[Yvie] Although, we wouldn't be
drag queens if we didn't have that.
[Natasha] It is a good idea though,
you know, when you let them
see you in your raw state
as we are on Orange,
with the neon lighting
and the low angles and the no makeup.
[laughing]
And then everywhere you go,
people are always amazed
that you look better,
even if you just roll out the door.
You know what I mean?
'Cause the camera sees everything,
you can't hide.
Well, you are doing a wonderful job,
I would say.
I'm just blending in to the background.
I've been trying to get
a face-kini project going.
Oh, really?
Yeah, I keep thinking...
that way nobody has to worry
if you're an aging actress...
if you're just going to become
a face-kini sort of a star,
-you can work forever.
-That's amazing!
[laughing]
[man] They're all ready for you
back on the main stage.
Good luck to you guys,
you're all so amazing,
you all deserve to win.
Thank you so much!
Thank you, I want a hug!
I'm gonna get my fat ass up.
Let's do it.
You were so funny.
Oh, me?
Thank you, I really appreciate that.
-Wonderful meetin' you.
-It's so nice to meet you.
-You as well.
-See you later.
-I wanna hug, too.
-Oh, look. I'm gonna get so many hugs.
Oh, so special!
[Silky] Oh, that's so sweet!
This little one,
real saucy piece of work over here.
Bye, guys, good luck!
-[Nina] Bye, Natasha!
-Bye. Thank you!
[Nina] It's a video!
[Silky] I wanna see my Granny.
I'm glad I got mine out all last week.
-I did my shout.
-Girl, you shouted in your video, too!
Congratulations to my brother,
Silky Nutmeg Ganache.
That's my brother!
I didn't know too much about Silky.
Aww!
I didn't know anything about drag
or anything like that,
but he kidnapped me,
and so instead of sitting in the car,
I decided to go in there
and see what it's all about.
And I saw Silky.
Silky was an entertainer,
was talented, intellectual.
She was full of all the tricks.
-I heard that, bitch.
-Today!
And the splits.
[laughing]
I mean I never seen something
so big do a split.
[laughing]
[Vanjie]
Why your brother just like your wig?
Good luck, Silky,
you bring home that crown.
-Yay!
-I love you, baby.
Oh, that's my mama!
Bring home the crown,
'cause you know I love to wear 'em.
[laughing]
-Congratulations to my grandson, Silky.
-Oh, that's Granny!
I would never thought
you would be where you are today.
My love is for you.
I adore what you've done.
Hurry home because I miss you so much.
I miss your good cookin'.
I told you I could cook!
Work hard, enjoy your life
and hurry home soon.
-Aww, that's really sweet.
-[Vanjie] Silky.
[contestant] Silky...
A'Keria, your grandmama
had got me last week.
I ain't even got no tears this week.
-[laughing]
-[Brook Lynn] I know!
It's so true though!
[A'Keria]
Now I know you can cook, girl.
What time I need to be ready?
Girl, you know soon as I get back home,
I'm goin' straight to Mississippi
for two weeks.
Does all your family, are they, like,
really close together in Mississippi?
Like, are you the only one
who's really far out?
I'm the only one that's far away
that's in Chicago.
But, like, my older brother
and younger brother is at home.
[Yvie] That was so sweet.
You know, my older brother,
him and his wife
-sponsored me for my first pageant.
-[Brooke Lynn] Really?
-[Nina] Are you kidding?
-Hmm-mm.
-Y'all have the same eyes.
-Oh, really? That is so sweet.
[laughing]
Who's cuter?
You know, I ain't got my makeup on today.
-Tell the truth.
-[Yvie] I think your grandma's
-probably the cutest out of all y'all.
-She's literally 80 years old.
[laughing]
This is for you, Silk!
Why does she looks like that!
Miss Silky!
[laughing]
Miss Silky!
-Cyst, I just want to talk to you.
-Yes.
You are such a humble
and such an amazing queen.
Aww, Plastique.
It was... if it's... If we've gotta
lip sync against each other,
just know that I love you so much.
-[Vanjie] You know, I love you and I'm--
-I know.
Hopefully, we don't have to
go against each other.
-You know?
-I know, hopefully we won't, but...
It's only so much we can do
and I'm so proud.
And, like...
I'm happy that you pushed yourself.
-You know I love you, cyst.
-Love you.
We'll always be fam, and, bitch...
-You know?
-Pleasure.
-Yes, of course. Love my cyst.
-Pleasure's all mine.
-[sighs]
-Now, let's listen to this iPod track!
Let's listen to this track! [groans]
Right? Hopefully.
Ladies, this is your five minute warning,
-so, let's get dressed and get goin'.
-[Nina] Thank you.
[Plastique]
I don't want this experience to end,
and I'm going to do
everything in my power to stay.
[Vanjie] I've learned being here
that I am a fighter.
I don't mind showing them
why I deserve to here
and why I'm not gonna give up.
I've got a lot to prove
and I'm gonna make sure I slay.
[man] All right, ladies,
you're ready for walk in.
I can't see shit.
[exhales]
[man] All right, ladies,
we walkin', we walkin'.
Let's go, let's go.
Whoo! Let's do this thang!
[RuPaul] Welcome back, ladies.
I've made some decisions.
Vanessa Vanjie Mateo... Plastique Tiara...
time's come for you to lip sync...
for... your... life.
Vanjie, shantay, you stay.
Plastique Tiara, you, my dear,
are the real thing.
Sashay away.
[Plastique] I feel lost.
You know, like, when you finally find
this group of people
who really accept you for who you are
and who really care about you.
[sniffling]
No one really wants to leave their place
that they grew to love,
and I love every moment
that I've been here.
And I've learned so much.
[sighs]
What're we doing?
[screams]
Stupid whores, they got me notes.
"Plastique, I am so, so glad I met you
and have found a new friend in you.
You are pretty, but more importantly,
you are fabulous.
I love you. Dad, Nina..."
[laughs] She's so crazy!
Dad, she's my dad. She's my white dad.
I haven't had this many friends
that share my same interest.
I've learned that I'm not alone.
That things will get better over time,
and I've learned that there are
people out there who can relate to me.
And people out there
who loves me for me.
And I now have a family
who accepts me for who I am.
Coming in here, I wanted to win the crown
more than anything,
but now it's not about the crown anymore,
it's about this experience.
I don't want it to end.
Bye, workroom!
If one person, one Asian kid out there,
can just watch me cry on TV,
and have RuPaul pat me on the back
while giving me a hug and be, like,
"Oh, maybe there's somebody out there
who can do that for me, too."
That's worth ten crowns.
I love you guys!
Stay true to yourself and love yourself.
Bye!
