[various characters] This is not
RuPaul's Best Friend Race!

-I feel very attacked!
-You're perfect, you're beautiful.

I do not wanna go home.

You just want someone to fight with!

I've had it, officially!

[RuPaul] This is Untucked.

Backstage of the competition to become
America's next drag superstar.

Girl, if you're not watching Untucked,
you're only getting half the story.

[man] Break on the main stage.
Back in ten.

All cameras, re-fo.

[RuPaul] The winning team is
from Tuckpantistan, Team A'Keria.

Team A'Keria, you're all safe.
You may leave the stage.

[Yvie] My body is not ever happy that
I'm in heels as much as I am,

but instead of letting my ankle
hold me back,

I'm using it to progress me forward,
hobble by hobble.

[A'Keria] I had to actually lead myself,
and four other people, to a victory

of actually winning a dancing challenge.

All right, Miss A'Keria, keep it goin'.

-[man 1] You good?
-[man 2] Set.

-[man 1] All right, Untucked is ready.
-[man 2] Sending, sending.

[cheering]

[Yvie] Yes, ma'am,
go get your victory drink!

-Yes!
-Team celebration!

-I got you, bitch.
-[screams]

-OK, do it for me, sister.
-Hey!

-Yes!
-Whoo!

[A'Keria]
Do you need to prop your foot up?

I can prop my foot up across myself,
I'll be fine.

[Shuga] Oh, Yvie.

-Oh, already? OK.
-Yay!

[Shuga]
Nicholas, you're the best.

-Thanks, Nicholas.
-[Yvie] Oh, it sucks!

Well, fuck, ladies.

Yes, bitches, we won!
Congratulations, Miss A'Keria.

-[contestant 1] Yes!
-[contestant 2] Yeah, girl!

Congratulations to all of us,

because we all worked
to make this victory happen.

Amen.

-Even you, with the limp leg.
-[laughs]

[Yvie] But, the thing is,
I felt shitty because, like...

I skipped out on so many moves,

and it hurts to, like,
think that I just, like, threw away a lot.

Even though I know that my body
has its capabilities,

and when my ankle went out it was, like,
"Oh, no, girl, that's actually it."

I'm sad that my body failed out on me

because I don't want people
to think of me

as that whiny bitch
who's making excuses.

I just don't wanna be defined
by my weaknesses.

I wanna be defined by my strengths.

But you can't control, you know,
what takes place.

That was beyond your control.

-Yeah.
-[Yvie] Yeah.

You executed everything you were
supposed to do with,

you know, your crippled bow.

[laughs]

-[screams]
-[Yvie] OK?

I'm gonna say this,

Yvie, all of us want to embrace you,

but at times it just seems like
you lash out at people.

And I do wanna get to know you more
because during this challenge...

show us a different side of you

that I don't think any of us
saw this entire competition.

Like, you were actually vulnerable,

and you let your guards down
about a lot of things.

And that started when you was like,
"I'm 80 percent."

And you was upset with yourself.

You know, like, you ain't got to go
through this by yourself.

The real tee is that this is the first
time where I was like,

"Oh, my God. Like, what the fuck can I do?
What am I going to do?"

So, I'm glad that, like,
I got to show that side to you guys.

I promise, I'm not, like,
some hard-ass human being all the time.

It's just, I was always raised
with these really stern parents,

who told you if they didn't like
what you were doing.

And that's just how I handle things.

And that's what I'm trying to work on,
is, like, maybe my delivery

of, like, just being honest with people.

I personally love your delivery of things

because you are so blunt and honest,
you just say it.

And it's so refreshing
because, like, nobody does that.

And yet, true enough,
you do need that tough love sometimes.

But sometimes, you know,

everybody don't take stuff,
criticism the same way.

So, sometimes you might just have to be
that girl to say, "OK, Brooke."

You know, pull her to the side,
or when we in the work room.

It'll probably be received differently

because it's just me and you talking
versus, like, "I'm already pissed off."

And then you call it out
in front of everybody else.

It's like, "Girl, now I feel attacked."

OK, I realize that I just, like,
blurt out my fucking opinions

like, whatever they are,
whenever they are,

but have I not, like, given you all
my own little opinions in one-on-ones?

Have I not, like, been that bitch
to help somebody out?

-[Shuga] Absolutely.
-Yes, but I think the difference is,

and this is a perfect example.

For me, specifically, last week,
I was in the bottom.

And, like, at that time,
I didn't need anyone coming for me.

Yeah.

I understand that, like,
it comes off really fucking abrasive,

and that it feels like
I'm attacking people.

You know, at the same time,
sometimes a bitch need to be read.

[laughs]

But, this is something
that I have learned in the past.

It's something I continue
to learn every day...

critiques, comments, criticisms,
anything of that nature, are gifts.

Do people deserve your gifts?

[Yvie] Well, I'm starting to learn

when I can and can't give gifts,
apparently, 'cause...

[laughs]

Some people are just really bad
at taking criticism.

Mm-hmm.

And I wanna just brush it on,
'cause I will try and work on it.

I'm not, like, just this mean,
evil girl who's out to get everyone.

Yes, my words sometimes hurt,

but it's never because
I'm trying to cut somebody.

I hope they know, going forward,
that nothing is done in ill will.

[Brook Lynn] So, I know there was
some drama, it seemed,

between you and Plastique
over Ariel's wigs?

The drama hasn't really happened.

I just heard that there was
some things said behind my back.

-Oh.
-That came back to me.

So, pretty much, what took place
was when Mercedes was eliminated,

Ariel decided to take
some of her wigs over there

because she didn't have
enough room in her space.

And my suitcases are
in their station, too.

When Ariel was eliminated,
we came back in,

the station was still full of wigs,
and she was already gone.

So, a lot... a couple of the girls,
including myself, grabbed a wig or two.

Mm-hmm.

So, it came back that Plastique had
said, "Well, girl, those are my wigs.

Those are my wigs that Ariel left for me
because they were in my area..."

-[contestant] Oh...
-"But it's OK,

because those girls need it."

[Silky]
That's the problem I have with that.

Clearly, you can look at my station
and tell I don't need any hair.

This is my issue with it,
how in the hell you gonna say

those other girls need it,
when your whole wardrobe was rented?

[all laughing]

[Shuga]
That's a real tee, bitch!

These hoes always comin' for me,
and that pisses me off.

Why do you constantly
have to knock me down?

Focus on yourself.

Are you gonna talk to her?

I am because I was
actually offended about it.

Don't make me feel some type of way

because you felt some type of way,
and you never came to me.

My personal issue is, it came up
from a couple of different people.

Why didn't you just come to me?

Like, we've seen each other.
Why haven't you said anything to me?

My issue with the whole situation is,

don't try to make it seem
as if someone else is needy

because you didn't speak up
on something that you wanted.

That's just like if I discredited
one of y'all on a win.

Like, even tonight, "Oh, girl,
A'Keria won $2,500 worth of jewelry."

"Oh, girl, it's OK.
She needed some jewelry."

Honestly, though, bitch,
I just want you to know, like, deep down,

feel free to donate
any of that jewelry to me.

-[all laughing]
-[Shuga] Hallelujah.

[RuPaul] I think we've heard enough.

While you untuck backstage,
the judges and I will deliberate.

-Hi!
-Hi, Ladies!

-Howdy, y'all.
-[Shuga] Welcome back.

Some people... Some people look sad.

-What's the tee, girl?
-It's not my week.

Let's go ahead and untuck this.

[Silky]
Oh, Miss Ra'Jah got something to say.

[Shuga]
All right, Miss Ra'Jah.

[Yvie] Yeah, girls, what's the tee?

I got mixed reviews. I don't really know,
you know, how to take it.

I know that I'm probably
lip syncing against Scarlet,

um, of course,
since we were all in the bottom.

Mother asked us the question,
"Who should be in the bottom,

or who should go home?"

Everybody said Scarlet,
except for Scarlet.

She said she didn't wanna say herself,
so she said me.

But I personally see, well, Scarlet was,
like, all over the fucking place.

Scarlet is here,
but she's supposed to be here.

And I'm supposed to be here,
but she's here.

And it was, like, she was in my way,

so I'm trying to, like, compensate,
so, I'm like...

So, it's kinda, like,
"No, bitch, you are the bottom."

You should've said you.

[Yvie]
Scarlet, what were your critiques?

Well, they don't like my look, um, they...

They loved her performance
because she was the most improved,

and she was the worst of our group,

and she had the most challenging...
Oh, I'm sorry.

[Vanjie] This bitch, Ra'Jah!

I think Ra'Jah's taking it personally

that I said that, like,
we all had to name someone.

I said Ra'Jah because they said that
she's a performer that didn't stand out.

Bitch, you was on the same
bottom with me, that first go-round.

-Yeah, well, I'm sorry--
-First time.

-Well, I just--
-Uh-uh.

No, because I am taking it personally,

-because you threw me under the bus.
-OK. Well, I'm sorry.

Well, they asked me a question.

-It's not throwing people under the bus.
-No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.

You're just taking it really personally.

When I say this, I'm speaking this way,
but it's not like I'm mad at you.

-That's just how I talk.
-I think you're very mad at me.

I mean, you had to say a name.
What made you say Ra'Jah's name?

I think she was the other one
that got the harshest critique.

Honestly, knowing how you
have struggled in rehearsals,

you did do way better than you've done,

but your look tonight isn't, like,
as unique as, like, other people's.

-That was a beautiful way to say that.
-Hey, girl.

By the way, we had a talk with her about
her delivery over her critiques.

You're doing so much better.

It's not gonna be
this nice in the future, y'all.

I know, but I'm just giving you credit
where credit's due,

-right here and now, girl.
-[laughs]

-[Silky] I got somethin' to say.
-What, bitch?

What they say now?

So, there was
a few people tell me things

that was said by Plastique
about Ariel's wigs.

Could you clarify that for me?

I mean, me and her
were very close together. You know?

So, but at the end of the day,

girl, I have a lot of hair,
so, it's no tee.

But you said that we
needed the hair, right?

I did not say you needed the hair.

I personally did not--

Well, three people said that,
so I would say.

I did not say
you needed the hair, mm-mm.

-'Cause you never said anything to me.
-Cyst.

Like, what's the tee?

I did not take it in offense
that you took the hair,

or you took the hair,
or anybody took the hair,

but it was left near my station,
you know.

So, it would be like, "Oh, oh, Plastique,

like, would you be cool if I, like,
take this?"

I would be like, "Yeah, sure, girl!
Go for it, 'cause I don't need it!"

So, you felt like you had ownership of it,
'cause that's what it sounds like to me.

Like, you felt someone shoulda
asked you first for it.

Because the hair that was left
at your station was meant for you.

OK.

And she put all that hair at my station
for another reason.

So, you had hair on your station,
meaning, not Mercedes' area?

-That area is, like...
-But my bags are there!

I come in that area and get stuff
out my bags all the time.

Cyst...
My station is right there, cyst.

But my station is literally,
jointly connected right here to it!

Honestly, if you felt, like,
it was your hair,

irregardless of how you felt about it,
like, be just like,

"Hey, girl, this actually, I think,
was left for me."

-But your reaction seems like...
-[Shuga] "This is mine," right?

-...you feel like it was yours.
-What?

Girl, you all clutching
your pearls, and "No!" And... [exclaims]

-No, no, no, no.
-But you never came and talked to me.

You never came and talked to A'Keria.

Had you and Ariel
had the conversation about

her leaving you hair,
or anything like that?

-Mm-mm.
-[Silky] Did she write you a note?

No. But we were best friends.

You changed your story up so many times.

You said you didn't care about it.

Now all of a sudden,
you said it was your section

because your clothes was there.

Then you said Ariel
left all that hair for you,

and you felt like it was for you

because she was your best friend
in this competition.

"Oh, but I don't care
'cause they needed it anyway."

Like, her stories don't add up.

So, girl... What's the tee, Christine?

I'm a get down deeper into this thing.

[Plastique] I just said to one person,
and it escalated.

I didn't even know
that y'all had this issue.

I didn't even know
no one heard about this comment.

Oh, somebody must heard about it.

Burn the wigs!

-[all laughing]
-[contestant] Bitch.

-Burn the fuckin' wigs!
-[laughs]

[Adam] Hi, ladies.

-[cheering]
-Hey, how are you guys?

Oh, my God.
I am very excited to meet Mirai.

She's so inspirational.

I need to see this ass in person.

[laughs]

[Nina] Of course,
I'm so excited to see Adam Rippon.

He is an American figure-skater,
and Olympic medalist.

He does not disappoint.
He is so adorable.

[Mirai] I have a question.

-[Brook Lynn] OK, what?
-What's your best make-up tip?

Blend, honey. Blend, blend, blend!

-Be your color!
-[laughs]

What type of advice
could you give about competition

and, you know, trying not to let other
things get in the way of your success?

Because I feel like that is
what kinda held me back this week.

You always have to remember
that the judges and the people,

they're not really
out to hurt you, personally.

They're just trying to improve you,
and help you better yourself.

-Right.
-I think at the end of the day.

[all screaming]

-[A'Keria] Perfect.
-[Mirai] Shot down.

[Adam] Untucked After Dark!

[Nina] I just want you to know,
all I've ever wanted

is to be in a dark room with Adam.

[all laughing]

You know, you guys,
we're from a judged sport, too.

And nobody's saying anything
to, like, hurt your feelings.

They're just trying to help you.

So, just literally, like,
when you're getting your feelings hurt,

take yourself out of your body,
and just kind of think of it,

and be like, "OK, like, as a robot,
This is how I'm gonna do this."

And just do it, and go for it.

How do you push through the energy
when there's nothing left?

You have to remember, always,
you're here to compete.

So, whatever you do,
know that you're gonna fucking nail it,

and do a 150 fuckin' percent.

You fuckin' rocked it, you nailed it.

It's the personality,
it's the performance.

Yeah, you made me laugh so much?

-[Silky] When?
-[both] The whole time!

-Oh, that wasn't intentional.
-[Mirai] The whole time.

[all laughing]

Ladies, we've had some issues
with the lights, obviously.

We're working it out.

We'll fix 'em, but unfortunately,
at this moment,

I gotta take these two back to the runway.

-[all groaning]
-How sad.

[Plastique] Bye!

You're gorgeous!

-I love you!
-I love you so much, thank you.

This is also your five-minute warning.

-So, let's get ready, OK?
-[contestant] All right.

-[Scarlet] Would you mind zipping me up?
-Bye, guys!

-Good luck.
-Bye!

[contestant] Thank you.

[Ra'Jah] Here we go, again.

I've already been in the bottom twice,

so I'm feeling, like,
"Bitch, this really is my last chance."

[Scarlet] I think about everything
I've done to get here,

and it's just all gone so fast.

I can't let myself think about that.
I have to give everything I possibly can.

Let's head over, OK?

We're walking, we're walking,
let's go, let's go!

[RuPaul] Welcome back, ladies.

Ra'Jah O'Hara...

Scarlet Envy.

The time has come for you
to lip sync for your life!

Ra'Jah O'Hara. Shantay you stay.

Scarlet Envy, this ain't
your last dance, sashay away.

[Scarlet] I'm sad, but I feel so blessed
to have made it this far.

Anything worth doing
is going to be so difficult,

and this competition is proof of that.

[sighs]

It's so quiet in here
without all of the personalities,

which is kind of sad.

Speaking of personalities...
all of these notes!

A'Keria. "Mirror, mirror on the wall,
you were the true fighter of us all."

That means so much to me.

I was really hoping to not coast here.

And, like the validation
that my sisters see

that there's a fight in me
and a desire to do better.

"Be unique and individual."

Oh, and they all left their phone numbers,

which means they really
do wanna know me.

[laughs]

You know, the judges said to me,
"Think grander. Think bigger."

In a lot of ways, I am still just,
like, you know,

Kentucky-bred.

I guess I... I have work to do.
You know?

I have work to do on me.

I thought, like,
maybe coming here that I was, like

some kind of a finished product.

This experience has taught me that, like,
that will never really be the case.

Never to be forgotten.

I'm so proud of myself.

I'm absolutely disappointed,
and I'm absolutely proud.

It's a weird combination of things to be.

Life is gonna throw some crazy things.

You take everything as it comes, you know?

See ya out there, world.
