we grew up in the middle of nowhere
with nothing but our imaginations,

we put on little plays in my bedroom
and record radio shows
in middle school...

- And in high school, we performed plays
for our friends in garages,
in the graveyards,
in the forests after dark, and...
Then, when we went to community college,
we started working at the TV station,
and we were the only ones
with enough spare time
to, uh, learn the new equipment,
and there was so much
dead air after midnight
that they eventually offered us
what they referred to as...

And that's really when Robert and I
truly became each other's everything.
I mean, we cracked each other up,
we terrified each other,
we put on little comedy skits
about horror movies and vice versa.
They blended together perfectly.
Horror, monsters, demon jokes,
terror, slapstick, all of it.
By the time school ended,
we'd kind of gotten
a bit of a following,
so we were still hanging
around the TV station,
and the late night crew
we had was hilarious.
And so we dreamt up our own night shift
and started showing movies
with our own short films after midnight.
It was... it was... that was our dream,
and we just... it just, uh...

Why did it stop?

we were kids, and...
