Rookie Blue (2010–2015): Season 4, Episode 2 - Homecoming - full transcript

Andi and Pete go back to work. Andi is not happy to see Sam with someone else. She goes out with Shaw and she sees a bank being robbed. She goes in to confront the robber but he has baby. She lets him go but before leaving the robber shoots the manager. They learn that the manager placed a dye pack in the money the robber took. They think that it went off and they can find him. They find a man covered with ink. They learn the man is an ex-con. He doesn't say anything. They think they found the robber but Andi hearing him speak while being interrogated doesn't think he's the robber. So she and Shaw go back to the where they found the man and she finds something that tells them that he wasn't the robber. But the guy still doesn't talk. They think the robber was deliberately trying to kill the manager and used the robbery as a cover.

What?

Looks like McRae was at the bank after all.

Okay. So then why is
Shaffer taking the blame?

At this point, Shaffer's
a lot more afraid of McRae

than he is of going back to prison.

What are we looking
for? Friends? Associates?

Anything that might give us
an idea where the hell he is.

- (Rustles papers) Sam.
- Yeah?

Darren Kudlow... you know,
the bank manager that got shot?

- Yeah.
- (Rustles papers)

- I think McRae knew exactly who he was.
- So?

Well, he had the money. He
didn't have to shoot him.

So? Maybe it wasn't just a robbery.

Interesting plan.

Get some cash. Manager happens
to get shot in the process.

We're off investigating a bank job

instead of someone who's
got a beef against Kudlow.

All right, so what's the connection?

Witness? Or maybe, you know,

someone who tried to put him away?

McRae's not gonna be the
first ex-con to hold a grudge.

Nash, get E.T.F. over to Memorial.

Looks like the bank manager
could have been targeted.

Yeah, I think I might know why.

Just going over McRae's
file. Before he went in,

he lived with a Cynthia Thorpe,

and Cynthia Thorpe is now Cynthia Kudlow.

Bank manager's wife is McRae's ex.

Do we know what this guy drives?

- I'll get the tags, get a B.O.L.O. out.
- Great. Do it.

(Coins clatter, cell phone rings)
