16 strangers from all walks of life
are living in this iconic
London tower.
Some seized power
and are the Rulers at the top.
The rest were sent to the basement.
Lift falling.
Living a life of hard
labour as Grafters.
SHE SCREAMS, ELECTRICITY CRACKLES
And they're all battling to win
up to £100,000.
Previously, two tribes went to war.
I'm going to vote for James today.
James will go and Connor
will be next.
He's going to try and run the roost.
He'd happily chuck anyone
under the bus to save himself.
Moses and Rossi must now decide
who will be eliminated.
He's not the person
I thought he was,
so I stick with my decision
with Jeff.
And I also stick with my decision,
that's James going.
James and Jeff
have been eliminated.
And there was a stand-off
in the Red Room.
I'm going with Syd. I have to go
for Sophie. Sydney. Sophie.
The prize fund will drop by £1,000
for every minute without
a majority decision.
What the fuck? I'm not going to
change my mind. When I make
a decision, I stand by it.
For every further minute, £5,000.
I'll run it into the ground, bruv.
What?!
Tonight... Come on, come on, faster,
guys, move your fucking arms.
..Rulers on the ropes.
As a result of the Rulers'
indecision,
the prize fund has been frozen.
This is a bad thing.
It's a kick in the nuts.
That's what you get
for being indecisive.
And the Grafters seize power.
Vote for the Ruler you
would like to see eliminated.
THEY SHOUT
How great is that?
All votes are locked.
The gap between the top and bottom
has never been closer.
This is Rise And Fall.
In the penthouse,
the Rulers are in total deadlock.
They can't agree which Grafter
to crown a Ruler,
Sydney or Sophie,
and their indecision has already
cost the prize fund £9,000.
Fuck's sake. Oh, my God, I'm gonna
be sick. I'm gonna be sick.
Prize fund deduction...
We've lost £14,000.
We have £35,000 now.
Let's just give Sydney a chance,
see how she gets on.
If it doesn't work, they go.
I'm going with Sophie.
Come on, before it goes,
let's give Sydney a chance.
Let's give Sophie a chance.
I, actually, genuinely, could cry
right now.
There's no reason as to why Sydney
can't come up here another day.
She's been up twice, she knows
she ain't gonna get up again.
I think we've worked so hard
to get the money up. We have.
And through...
This is the stupidest thing ever.
I'll sit here until it goes down
to zero, 100%. What?!
Fuck! Money doesn't matter?!
Get a fucking grip!
A leader makes a decision
and stands by it.
People do make wrong decisions.
I'm starting to feel sick.
I was kind of hoping that people
would see sense.
Do you know what, don't worry cos
it's clearly obvious anyways.
I vote Sydney.
I can't be fucking bothered.
Screw this.
I'm out.
The whole thing's fucked, man.
That's madness,
what just happened there.
Why fucking stay there, yeah,
and waste other people's money?
He said from the get, he was weak.
You've said it, Mo, I've said it.
What's annoyed me the most is that
he's let the prize fund sink
to 35 grand and then decided
to leave.
If you was going to change your
mind, you should have done it
at the beginning.
I feel like he's been very selfish
and it's all been about him.
Sophie, are you all right, babe?
Babe, come here.
I wanted you to stay. I'm just
pissed we lost all that money,
when I wanted you to stay.
You're telling me I ate dog food,
laid in an ice bath,
for them to do that?
And none of them cared.
He was just doing it
because he's spiteful.
He just fucking killed us,
that's what he's just done,
he's just killed us.
The blame is going on Connor
but Ross and Jack,
they were part of it.
They could have changed their mind.
They've all got to take
responsibility.
It's not just Connor.
Fucking hell.
I think all the Rulers are to blame.
If it wasn't for Connor,
the prize fund would have went
to zero, so I highly respect him
for that.
He took one for the team,
that's what a true leader does.
It was a, "Who's got the biggest
fucking dick?" None of them.
It's absolutely gutting.
The selfishness involved in this
for own personal gain.
I've never seen something
quite like that before.
Rulers, please confirm the name of
the Grafter you would like
to see rise.
Sydney. Sydney. Sydney.
No choice.
She's going to feel awful,
she's just cost...
She's not at fault, though. I know
she's not but she'll feel that.
Obviously,
I am happy to be in the penthouse
but it's just cost us 14 grand
to get me here.
Personal relationships
got in the way,
so, yeah, I just know
the Grafters aren't happy.
It's fucking embarrassing.
All of that hard work for nothing.
This is exactly why I did not vote
for Sydney to go up,
because I knew that the relationship
between her and Jack
would come in between, you know,
making good, sound decisions -
and that's exactly
what we've seen tonight.
They're fucking idiots,
aren't they?
Attention, please.
Shall I carry on grafting?
Sophie, please enter the lift
and return to the basement.
I love you Sophie, just...
I love you. See you later.
See you later. babe.
Bye, Sydney. Bye, babe.
I'm proud of you.
That was the worst way,
I think, to go.
I was so close to being chosen
and I've come back
and have to tell everyone we've lost
14 grand in the process.
Attention, please.
Guys, lift!
Right, guys, you need to sit down.
We know, we've seen in.
We just saw it.
I was literally just sat on
the floor with my head in my hands
as the numbers went down.
I just wish they'd have fucking said
a name.
I don't care if I've ended up
back here. Why did Connor want you?
Yeah. There is a huge alliance
between Jack and Rossi
and Moses and Connor are in
an alliance to get Jack out
but Connor's gone.
They should be reprimanded for this.
They should be but can we not fall
out about this decision-making here
because, when we're down here,
we've got to be a team.
People have lost the reason
why they're in the penthouse
and that is to be a trustee
of the prize.
GREG: You can't be a trustee
without trust
and there's not a lot of that
between the Rulers right now
and they're on their way back
to the penthouse for a debrief.
This should be fun!
We've got to talk to you, mate,
cos Connor's a fucking waste, man.
Well, no, we watched it. You watched
it all? We watched the full thing.
The basement people watched it as
well? I don't know but I'm assuming.
Here you are, listen, you need this.
This is your Ruler badge.
The geezer's a fucking idiot, mate.
And he left, he's done all that
and then left.
All the work we've done is just
wasted cos of what...
Cos of him, bruv. Silliest 14 grand
we've ever lost in our lives,
but if Connor didn't leave,
it would have gone to zero
and that would have been the end of
the game. That would have been
ridiculous.
He's a prick. I was with him all day
and he was talk...
He was t... Oh, man! Calm down.
It's not fair.
We can't do nothing about it.
It's just really disappointing.
There's no point getting ourselves
worked up. We can't just do nothing
about it. It's done.
Imagine they watched the whole
thing, yeah? I know. They've watched
me and you stand by our guns,
you stand by your gun, that is what
they wanted. They wanted someone to
make a decision and stand by it.
In fact, he's not fucking stood by
his guns there, he's weak,
so we have done nothing wrong
collectively
and when people watch it back
they'll see that.
Listen, we've got a work shift
tomorrow.
I know they're going to be thinking,
"What the fuck's the point?" 100%.
But it is what it is.
If that was me and I was a Grafter
and I found out that
the Rulers has lost £14,000
because they couldn't decide
who to become a Ruler...
..I wouldn't want to work.
The reasons they wanted to keep me
in the penthouse were
because of my ruling skills. The
reason they wanted to keep Sydney
in the penthouse is because of
her relationship.
I don't think I've ever lost
so much respect for people
in the way I did today.
I think this was
the biggest mistake from Jack.
He crossed his hands and said,
"Let the prize fund go to zero."
Clearly he doesn't care about
the money. He forgot why he's here.
Just enjoy the fucking ride, mate,
cos you're in the penthouse.
I know, but I just look like
a fucking dickhead.
Anyway, fuck that, did you miss me?
Yeah, I actually have.
Did you miss me? Yeah, loads.
Really? Loads, mate.
I didn't come here to find someone,
that was never on the agenda,
whatsoever.
You spend a lot of time
with someone in here
and two days feels like two years,
so it's a genuine connection.
Tomorrow's a new day.
Losing Connor, for me,
was...the biggest loss.
I mean, I don't think I'm safe
any more in this game.
This game's about doing
whatever you need to do,
to stay and to be relevant
and to still have a chance to win.
Goodnight, Moses. Goodnight, Ross.
Goodnight, everyone.
Goodnight, guys. Goodnight guys.
# Every minute
it's running through my head
# Hundred million thoughts
that I could have said... #
It's morning in London
and we're just six days away
from crowning our winner
but first, Jack and Sydney are
enjoying the kind of special moment
money can't buy. No, actually, yes,
it can. It just cost £14,000.
All right, mate? Yeah.
It's good to have Sydney back.
We had a nice cuddle.
Nice to see her wake up as well
this morning.
Good morning.
Good morning. Morning. That
shouldn't have happened last night.
What the fuck, mate?
I just cannot believe that happened.
Listen, at the end of the day, us
three last night would have
sat there until that went
to zero, right?
The prize fund would have gone down
but, at the same time,
you would have stuck by what
you said.
I feel like every single one of us
will be hated in that basement.
It's shit. Yeah, it's terrible.
We are awful. ..at our job.
We're shit at our jobs!
Don't worry, a good night's sleep
and I'm sure they'll have
forgotten about the whole thing.
ALARM WAILS
Morning, everyone. Morning.
Attention, please.
Prize fund currently stands
at £35,000.
Tonight, one Ruler will be
eliminated from the game.
The whole point of, like, Rulers,
was to manage the prize fund
but I don't think they was doing
an effective job, clearly. Yeah.
Cos it almost went to zero, so.
We need to get him out.
Jack needs to go.
None of them are effective Rulers
at this point.
Yeah. It was in their power
just to stop it straight away.
And they chose not to. Yeah.
I'm ashamed at the
Rulers' performance.
I'm a bit pissed off
at the Grafters as well,
for voting Sydney,
you know, come on.
She got, what, four votes?
So four people in there
are quite naive and a bit stupid.
Attention please, lift falling.
Lift opened.
What's uuuuuup?!
I'm back, back, back again!
Back to my roots, baby!
With the Fall Vote incoming, today
one Ruler will be eliminated.
And talking of people leaving,
he stormed out during
tense negotiations and now,
like a true Westminster Ruler,
Connor has waltzed back in
like nothing's happened.
Except he's now in the basement.
I knew that would happen.
Oh, my Gooood!
I'm back. Oh, my God.
If anyone wants to go up there,
be prepared, the dynamics, it's fake
as fuck up there. Is it? Really?
That's why I just thought,
do you know what,
I'm not being eliminated
on my own terms,
so I threw my pin down
and walked out.
I've come back to the basement
because I was part of the reason
why that money decreased
and I think,
you know, I need to go back
to grafting.
I need to get that prize fund
back up.
The problem is,
it's now up there and I...
Moses don't like the way of
the alliances
but it is alliance heavy up there.
Yeah. Sydney come up, you know,
we all know Sydney's connection
with Jack, we know that.
With her coming up, she's never
going to vote, and Rossi said,
"No matter what Jack does,
I won't ever vote for him."
Jack turned round to me and said...
That's a dangerous place to be.
And Jack said the same about Rossi.
No-one realises that me and Moses
were in a secret alliance,
sabotaging, having to do
what we had to do.
I think the thing is, though, you
know, you didn't let the prize fund
go to zero. I'm telling you what,
if I had not walked then... It would
have went down. ..that would have
gone to zero down, they didn't
give a shit. Yeah. I'm the only one
that actually put my whole chance
on the line, you know,
I just wanted to make money.
Clearly, they've got other ways
of making money.
Let's see how they can do it today.
I think what we all
need to do as Grafters
is be quite strategic about who we
send up. See, there...
There's no way they're ever
letting you back up there.
Yeah, I felt like that. I will be
completely honest with you,
they've offed it, straight away.
Eddy they want in the final,
Sydney they want in the final.
Jack, Rossi and it was James
and I don't know who the sixth...
I mean, they're thinking that six
people are going to be in the final.
that's not going to be possible
because you've got to eliminate
each other, at the end of the day.
They're living in fantasy land
if they think that you will be able
to design the final. Yeah, agreed.
Yeah.
It feels surreal
being back down here.
I didn't think I would ever
want to be back down here,
but grafting was where I started.
Being up there,
I was losing myself day by day.
Well, get ready to lose
a few menu options, too, Connor,
because it's soup, soup, soup
all the way down there.
In the penthouse,
Sydney is reflecting. Literally.
Bruv! Connor's down there.
He's in the basement.
Are you insane?
Man's in the basement.
Ooh!
Woke up this morning
and he's in the basement.
We're all fucked up here.
I know for a fact that Connor
is going to go down there
and relay everything we've said
up here and just slag us off,
so we are Britain's most wanted
up the top here at the minute.
What do you reckon he's saying
down there?
He'll be gunning for me.
He'll say,
"They all planned to vote me off,"
but they all...
They all wanted him out,
so what are they going to say,
what's he going to say, like?
All of us up here...
JACK AND MOSES: Are fucked.
I wonder how he's
going to get on down there.
There's only one reason he's going
to the basement, yeah, and that's
to mug all of us lot off.
Yeah, of course. Yeah. 100%. Or else
he would have just gone home.
The best thing today, right, is if
we can claw back that 14 grand.
Yeah. I'll feel like my
conscience...
No, I don't give a fuck about that,
I don't care. You do give a fuck.
I don't care.
I don't care about anyone
down there.
I'm only being true to myself
and I always will be.
Well, Sydney, enjoy brekkie.
It's your first one up here.
Enjoy it while it lasts, mate.
We've got targets
on all of our heads.
Connor really messed me up
by leaving.
Now I'm stuck here with Jack,
Rossi and Sydney,
the same trio I was avoiding,
all the time.
With them three being up here,
it's really, really dangerous
and catastrophic
for anybody that comes their way.
We've done what we needed to do.
To loyal friends, to loyal friends.
To Connor, arsehole.
That's a strange surname.
What's the breakfast like?
There's, like, cheese and...
I don't want cheese for breakfast.
We had bagels the other day.
Did you? I like a bagel.
But not toasted. Oh!
Attention, please.
All Grafters
report to the work space.
Today, you will be working
as baggage handlers.
Oh, fuck me.
Oh, that is a lot, that's physical.
I'm really excited
about today's work shift.
I want to release some of
the frustrations that I have
after watching those idiots
in the Red Room.
Let's go. More dollar.
So, where do you feel more content,
like, down here or up there?
Down here, I'm just, I think
I want to go up there again,
just to sort the shit out.
Come on, then.
There's massive pressure
to get the prize fund up.
If we carry on going at this rate,
the winner's going to walk out
with a meal deal.
I don't mind a grab bag,
to be honest.
Anyway, I'm on my way
to that Red Room right now
to hear exactly what those Rulers
have got to say for themselves.
And I am cross.
Hi, Rulers. Hello, Greg. Hey. Greg.
Lots to talk about.
First of all, how are you feeling,
Sydney? Obviously,
it's bitter-sweet that it cost
14,000
but I think if I was here last
night, that wouldn't have happened.
Today, we've got to take
big risks for big money
and get the prize fund back up.
We can't let them down again.
The prize fund currently stands
at £35,000.
Your job as Rulers, as we know,
is to manage and increase
that prize fund.
The way we do that
is through work shifts.
Shall we find out what
the Grafters will be doing today?
Yeah. Yes, please. OK.
Oh. Oh, OK. OK.
Conveyor belt.
Today, the Grafters must work as
baggage handlers in a busy airport.
That's all right. Baggage handler,
OK, not bad, not bad,
good start, good start.
They must split themselves
into three key roles.
Baggage Inspection -
where they'll remove any contraband.
Baggage Dispatch - labelling bags
to the right continents.
And Baggage Delivery -
running along the conveyor belt
and placing or throwing bags
into the right chutes.
In each round, Grafters must ensure
the baggage is labelled correctly
and delivered to the correct
continents within a set time.
With four rounds on offer,
the Grafters could potentially earn
up to £25,000.
However, if the Grafters fail
to process all the bags
within the time limit,
they will fail the work shift
and all money will be lost.
Rulers, your decision today is,
how many bag drops you want to make
the Grafters process.
I was cabin crew for seven years.
I've seen how baggage handlers work.
They all know how much money
was lost last night through...
Your mistakes.
Our mistakes. Obviously,
which is going to make them angry,
and hopefully that gives them
the drive to try and smash this.
£25,000 is the prize.
That's good.
So we can claw back that 14 grand.
Yeah. And then make some and, yes,
it can be a shitshow up there
but we've got to keep it solid
down here. Grafters,
stand by for a message
from your Rulers.
Hey, Grafters. I know, obviously,
with the decision last night,
yous will be very angry
and disappointed
but I know all of yous can do this,
I know it's everything
yous all want,
is to push the money up
and today you'll do it.
You've got this.
Hey, Grafters, erm, first of all,
I'm going to apologise
for last night's events.
Hopefully, that won't happen again.
You can all smash this.
Hopefully,
we can claw back that 14K.
Grafters, please keep your head up.
Last night was a minor setback
for a major comeback.
Good luck, guys,
I wish you all the best.
Grafters, if I could be down there
with you doing it all, I would,
you know I would, but keep your
heads up and you'll smash this one,
no problem. All the best.
They are so full of shit,
these guys,
you know, like,
you can't really trust them.
Rossi was actually
the only one there
to hold his hand up and go...
And apologise. .."I apologise."
Exactly. Nobody else up there
actually apologised for what
happened.
There's some very guilty faces
up there.
If they can process four bags
correctly in three minutes,
you'll earn £2,000
for the prize fund.
So, if you're happy
for the Grafters to battle
the baggage today,
please press your buttons.
Come on, team. Attention, please.
Bag drop incoming.
Come on, team. Come on, guys. Work
shift begins in three, two, one.
Just grab... Lean in, lean in.
Open up, open up.
Me, Rachel and Connor
was Inspection,
ripping everything out of the bags,
finding things.
I've got cheese, I've got cheese.
Oh, zip it up,
put it through the security check.
First one is Vienna,
Vienna, Europe. That's in Europe.
I had to read on the label, a city.
We had to identify which continent
was the city in?
Go, go! Europe, go on,
leg it, leg it, leg it.
I'm getting handed the bags with
the location that I need to throw
the bag and I jump on the treadmill
and it's a lot harder than it looks
and the first run,
I go flat on my face.
Oh, fuck.
HE LAUGHS
Wow! It's a lot more painful
than I first imagined.
Right, next one is Dallas.
Oh, that's in North America.
North America!
North America! Next, go.
North America. That is
a lot quicker than you think.
Yes. Next one is Tokyo...
Japan, Asia, Asia! Asia.
We're over halfway done.
It's went red. It's gone red.
So that one's not quite right.
What's happening?
Why's that come back?
Take the clothes out and drop it.
Oh, fish, oh!
Mumbai, Mumbai. India, Asia, Asia!
Asia, Asia, Asia. Asia?
Is this is the last bag?
Get it through.
Oh. Take your time.
Careful, careful!
CHEERING AND APPLAUSE
Bags successfully processed.
Yes, well done.
Well done, well done, team,
well done. Well done, Rulers.
£2,000 earned for the prize fund.
First work shift completed.
Shall we find out what work shift
two is going to be?
Let's go for it. Let's go.
If you add another bag drop,
the Grafters will need to process
seven bags within five minutes.
Yeah. Yeah, we'll go for that, yeah.
Also... Oh.
..the destinations will get
trickier. OK. If you complete it,
you'll earn £5,000
for the prize fund.
If they fail, all the money earned
so far will be lost.
I think they're looking good.
Attention, please.
Bag drop incoming.
INDISTINCT POSITIVE CHATTER
They're all going, "Yes!"
They know they can do it.
Go, go, go, go, go, go.
Unzip one.
There's definitely food in there
cos I can smell it.
A vibrator, really?
Isaak, catch.
Yeah! Keep going.
Prague, Europe. Europe! Europe!
EUROPE!
There we go. Careful.
One bag through.
Wuhan. Asia, Asia, Asia! Oh!
Whoa, shit!
Oh! Oh. I think She's hit her face.
She'll be all right, come on,
come on, come on. Take your time,
take your time.
Ah! Oh, shit.
Could I chuck this bag? Go, go, go!
You got it, you got it.
CHEERING
Love it. Yes! Come on!
Tel Aviv, Israel, Europe.
Israel, Europe!
One more bag needed.
Yeah, easy, easy.
I knew Tel Aviv was in Israel
but I thought Israel was in Europe
because of Eurovision.
CHEERING
And I made a complete
and utter balls up.
They've sent one of the bags
to the wrong destination.
They have to do it again.
Tel Aviv. Tel Aviv!
Asia, Asia, Asia!
Asia! Israel is in Asia.
Asia? Yeah. Yeah.
Whoo! Well done, guys.
Bags successfully processed.
That was quite tight.
Stressful, but customs
is always stressful.
Another £5,000 earned
for the prize fund.
That takes today's earnings
up to £7,000.
Nice. Really good. Halfway through
the stuff you lost last night.
Yeah.
If the Grafters complete
the next bag drop,
they will add £8,000
to the prize fund.
To do that, they must
successfully process 13 bags
in eight minutes.
I think they can do it.
I think they can do it.
Moses has pressed.
8 minutes to process 13 bags.
Here we go.
Attention, please.
Bag drop incoming.
Well done.
Work shift begins in three, two...
We've got this, guys. ..one.
Just pass it over to me, yeah?
Let's do this!
Use your senses.
Good start.
They're very fast with the bags.
Winnipeg. That's in Canada.
North America, North America!
North America!
I need to do really well
at this work shift.
This is an opportunity
to put myself out there
for tomorrow's vote
to go to the penthouse.
Come on, guys. Come on, come on,
faster, guys,
move your fucking arms,
let's go, let's go, let's go.
Oh, God. If you're tired,
I can do it. I'm a bit tired.
Right, give 'em here.
Asia!
Yes. Come on, guys.
How do we keep missing
the fucking fish?
Fucking hell.
North America or South?
South America!
Shit. Another one coming.
Yes!
YES!
One more bag.
CHEERING
They've got it. Yes!
They've got it. Yes.
Jesus... Fucking good effort, guys.
Well done.
They've got to let us go again.
Yeah. They've got to let us go.
That is £15,000
earned for the prize fund.
Three drops in the bag
but there's one final bag drop
on offer and it's a biggy.
If the Grafters can process
20 bags in 10 minutes,
they will add £10,000
to the prize fund,
banking you the full amount of
£25,000 for the entire work shift.
If the baggage
gets the better of them,
then you will lose all the money
that they've earned so far today.
I don't think it's possible.
Yeah, I think that's far too tight.
It's too risky.
The 15 is better than having none.
Don't...
I know you're thinking about it.
Jack, are you wavering over there?
He's thinking about it.
Oh.
I am very tempted to press the
button, just to see what happens.
It's a big risk.
A massive risk but it's a massive
pay out. It's an extra ten grand.
Attention, please.
Work shift ended.
I told you. I told you, they're
going safe cos they feel guilty
for losing the money.
Total money banked - £15,000.
Ah, piss off!
I feel really demoralised because
we absolutely smashed that task.
Oh, for God's sake.
What a shitshow.
Congratulations, Rulers,
you managed to add £15,000
to the prize fund today
but I have some news
about tonight's elimination
and you're not going to like it.
Last night you lost £14,000
because you could not reach
a collective decision.
The decision about who falls
is being taken from you.
Your fate is now in the hands
of the Grafters.
The Grafters will vote
in a secret ballot.
The Ruler with the most votes
will leave tonight.
The Rulers are headed back
to the penthouse
and with a Grafter-led elimination
vote hanging over them,
it's not exactly
a carnival atmosphere.
Oh, welcome home.
Home sweet home.
I want a fucking cup of tea.
Obviously, Sydney is immune,
so it's between me,
Jack and Moses. I'm not surprised
because what happened last night,
erm, shouldn't have happened.
I think the best approach
will be saying,
"Listen, this is what I've done
as a Grafter,
"this is what I've done as a Ruler."
This is probably
a life-saving event for me.
Jack, Sydney and Ross
are the bestest of friends.
I had the feeling, if we had gone
into the Red Room today and voted,
I would have been picked to go.
This is my way of proving
to the Grafters to pick me
over any of them.
Ah, it's between me and...
Between me and Jack.
You ain't going nowhere near it.
Like, there's just no point
in fucking saying it's between...
It's me, we all know it's going to
be. You never know, you never know.
Cos I'm not going to go in and beg.
Yeah, but if Connor's liking...
You know, I don't even think the
whole begging thing or even
explaining...
Well, I'm not going to go, then.
I don't have to fucking explain
myself to no fucking...
A lot of them don't know you, bro.
Don't care, fuck 'em.
I'm not going to beg. I'm not
going to walk in there and say,
"Please pick me, I want to be
here because of this reason."
That's never going to happen.
I wouldn't do it on the outside.
I'm not going to do it here.
Downstairs
and guess how Eddy's celebrating
that successful work shift.
Right, get the bread on.
Of course! "Get on the bread, lads."
Shower...
INDISTINCT CHATTER
I think I'm going to
wash my body quickly. Yeah.
Two-second job.
We did an amazing job.
We lost £14,000 yesterday.
We, the Grafters, made £15,000.
I hope they understand their job
is not to decrease the prize fund,
it's to increase the prize fund.
The Fall Vote is nearly upon us
and the Grafters are still unaware
that they're about
to be given the power
to remove a Ruler.
What do you think is
happening tonight?
One person is definitely
going tonight.
I'm intrigued. This is probably
the most exciting one we've had.
No-one knows what is going to
happen.
But, yeah, my money's on Moses.
Not because he's a weak Ruler.
Just because of the dynamics?
Yeah, the dynamics
and he's outnumbered up there.
Moses is strategic and clever
but it's crap that Sydney's up there
because I think Moses has probably
made himself a bit of a target.
Upstairs, Ruler Jack continues
to break all the rules.
No shoes on the bed!
How are you feeling? Yeah, sound.
I just feel that you put this
guard up all the time.
Well, I'm sound. Why?
I don't know.
I just feel this is what you do.
What do you mean, like, what?
You put this front on and then...
Obviously, I don't really want to go
cos I'll miss the people and that
but it's...
That's just the way it is, the way
the cookie crumbles... No, it's not,
you see, this is what I mean,
you put this front on and it just,
I don't know, I want us in the final
and I just feel like...
That ain't going to happen, mate.
When I was down there, everyone kept
telling me, like, to stop giving up
and I feel like, I've got up here
and now you're doing it.
I ain't given up. It just makes me
coming up pointless. It does.
Obviously, the worst outcome for me
is jack gets voted out.
Everyone loves Jack, everyone knows
he deserves to be up there,
so it's annoying if, obviously,
he gets eliminated because of me and
him although I think that will be
the only reason why people
are voting for him.
The Rulers' lives are in
the Grafters' hands,
as well as some things
slightly more unsanitary.
Nice!
Don't throw food, guys,
listen, it's bad luck.
It's a sock.
I'm right here and I can see.
You can't see because of the light.
I promise, I promise why...
I promise. These are my old socks
and I swear to God...
They're not, they're mine. Oh! Fuck!
Not the cheeriest of thoughts
but the mood is sombre
all over because,
despite this lovely looking spread,
for one of the Rulers,
this will be their final
penthouse picnic.
Enjoy, guys, enjoy. The last supper,
it could be our last supper.
Yeah, I know.
This is going to be...
This is going to be shit.
..one of the hardest eliminations...
..knowing that one of us
is actually going.
No-one deserves to go
at this table now. No, they don't.
Today's a very,
very important day for me.
It's looking like
a battle of masculinity,
to be honest, but I just got to make
sure I don't get voted out today.
Attention, please.
Oh, here we go.
As a result of the Rulers'
indecision last night,
the prize fund has been frozen.
Frozen?
Rulers do not have the ability
to spend money on any rewards today.
Shit! The Rulers
don't have that power.
I feel gutted for the Grafters that
they didn't get their rewards
and the prize fund was frozen
because I feel partly responsible
for the reason that happened and
I feel like it wasn't fair.
This is a bad thing.
Yeah, they've targeted us again.
Because the reward is what they
really, really need right now.
Obviously,
it's a kick in the nuts, really.
You always want to reward them
but that's what you get
for being indecisive.
We've now lost them money and now
we're going to punish them further
for not being able
to give them rewards.
We've already been punished enough
for their indecision
and now we've got another night
of bread roll and soup
because they couldn't say
a fucking name.
It just fuelled our anger
towards the Rulers even further.
Our last meal together.
Yeah. Nice chicken.
The potatoes are nice. Yeah.
Attention, please. All Rulers
report to the Red Room immediately.
You all right?
# And way down we go... #
We're about to enter
a Red Room like no other.
This is it, ain't it?
It is a lottery,
it's literally a curveball,
anything can happen.
I just don't know how tonight's
going to go.
It's a hard one to call.
I'm going to go in there and I'm
going to fight with all of my heart.
This is my only chance
to solidify my stay in this game.
The one thing that I'm just gutted
is the private toilet.
The only thing I'm like, uh!
TV!
ALL SHOUT
Fucking hell!
SHRIEKING AND EXCITED CHATTER
Oh, it's so good to be this end.
Oh, here we go.
I'm glad I'm not a part of that.
Attention, please. Last night,
as a result of indecision,
the Rulers lost £14,000
from the prize fund.
Tonight, the power shifts.
One Ruler will be eliminated.
The Grafters will decide who.
Oh, my God!
The fates of the Rulers
will be decided by the Grafters.
Each Ruler will be granted
one final address to plead
for their precious penthouse
survival.
One of them is about to fall.
Grafters, voting will take place
in a secret ballot.
The new Ruler is immune.
The Ruler with the most votes
will be eliminated from the game
and must leave
the building immediately.
I'm so happy there is a way for us
to get rid of one of the Rulers.
How great is that?
Who does not belong here any more?
SHRIEKING
Oh, my gosh. My heart.
Rulers, please state
why you should stay. Moses.
Hello, guys. Erm,
as you can probably tell,
I'm fighting a very tough battle
right now.
I fought for Sophie last night
because I believed that she had
the qualities that we needed,
she's outspoken, she's strong
and she's a great decision maker
so I believed
that she deserved to be here
and the results of that caused us
a loss of £14,000.
However, guys,
in today's work shift,
I pulled myself together.
I pushed the button
and I pushed you guys to the third
round, which made us £15,000 today.
So he pushed us.
So, that was my way of apologising
and essentially just making back
the money that we lost.
I'm very, very equal,
I'm very, very fair.
I have no alliances and I want
every single person up here
to absolutely get a fair chance.
Thank you.
You know, he said, like,
"I'm fighting a tough battle,"
and you can see that.
I know, I know what he's getting...
Well, we know what he's alluding to.
Rossi.
Hi, guys. Firstly, congratulations
on today's work shift,
you all absolutely smashed it.
Everyone gave their all.
I really do apologise
for last night.
It was an awful thing that happened.
We couldn't come to a decision.
It was 50/50.
We got 15 grand back today.
I know it's not a lot
but we clawed that money back.
We just need to build that prize
fund so whoever's going to win it
can take it home and be proud of
their selves. Erm, anyway, guys,
that's me over and out, erm...
Erm...lots of love, take care.
He's a nice person.
I think having a good heart,
it's, you know, very well
but it's not going to increase
that prize fund.
I'm going to tell you, I hate two
words - compassion and empathy.
People keep throwing these
words around.
They don't even know the fucking
definition of these words.
Jack.
Grafters, how are we all?
Apologise.
Erm, basically, when I first
come into this whole experience,
the chemistry I had with everyone
in there was electric, I've never...
I've never felt a bond like it
and you grow over the weeks
to be so close to each other,
you literally turn into a family.
I feel like when you look back
on your time in the basement
with me as a Grafter
you'll see it and you'll think,
"Do you know what, he was
such a big, big part of that,
"his energy got me through
tough times,"
erm, you might not think
I was leading down there,
but when you do look back at it
and you think, do you know what,
I naturally led people to be happier
to have the morale
and to keep up hopes in camp.
Whatever happened last night,
happened last night,
it wasn't the way it meant to go but
I know how hard it was
for everyone in the situation.
You've got to make your decision.
You've been amazing.
I've had such a good time
and hopefully it can continue.
Didn't... Didn't say sorry.
He didn't apologise.
Voting will begin shortly.
The Grafters are wasting no time
in getting down to business.
So, we've discussed loads, I think,
on why they shouldn't be here,
but the reality is, we need to know
why they should be.
What they did was terrible
and I want to get payback.
Jack. What does he actually bring?
He is straight to the point.
He said, "I will let it run down to
zero, I don't give a fuck." Yeah.
For that... I don't...
He can't be a Ruler.
And why should Rossi be here?
He's got a good heart, I believe.
Just a good heart.
How confident is he to be able
to stand up and challenge people?
Yeah. And why do we think
Moses should be here?
Everything he's said,
he's stuck to his guns.
He hasn't followed the crowd up
there and I think as a leader,
if you want to be a leader,
you lead, you don't follow.
Moses and Jack have got
that strong thing
and if they clash like they did
again yesterday
and then we lose more prize money,
that's... That's risky.
All of them had so much potential
going up there.
Get me up there! I'm fucking turning
into a skeleton down here.
Attention, please.
Here we go, guys.
Grafters,
you must vote for the Ruler
you would like to see
lose their power.
I'm in a real pickle at the moment
on who to vote for.
They've all got their qualities
but they've also got massive,
massive flaws.
This is the first time
where I've felt
I'm in the grey area between
the friendship side of things
and also the reality
that we're actually in a game.
The penthouse can change
the best of us.
Power can corrupt people.
Power can corrupt
your character,
your morals and your values.
Rossi, for me, he's got a big heart
but that's his only pro.
Someone like that can't be
in the game.
It feels good to have power.
This is the first time I've had it
since I've been here
and I knew straight away
who I wanted out.
I'm not voting against people
who are strong
and know what they're doing,
I'm voting for the individual
who's the weakest leader.
All votes are locked.
Guys, come on!
The Grafters have voted.
Each Ruler received
at least one vote.
The Ruler who received
the most votes is...
I just hope and I pray
that it keeps me in the game.
I would love to stay.
I've still got a lot to give.
Very, very tense
atmosphere. Obviously,
we're only in there for one reason.
Someone's got to go home.

This programme

16 strangers from all walks of life
are living in this iconic
London tower.
Some seized power
and are the Rulers at the top.
The rest were sent to the basement.
Lift falling.
Living a life of hard
labour as Grafters.
SHE SCREAMS, ELECTRICITY CRACKLES
And they're all battling to win
up to £100,000.
Previously, two tribes went to war.
I'm going to vote for James today.
James will go and Connor
will be next.
He's going to try and run the roost.
He'd happily chuck anyone
under the bus to save himself.
Moses and Rossi must now decide
who will be eliminated.
He's not the person
I thought he was,
so I stick with my decision
with Jeff.
And I also stick with my decision,
that's James going.
James and Jeff
have been eliminated.
And there was a stand-off
in the Red Room.
I'm going with Syd. I have to go
for Sophie. Sydney. Sophie.
The prize fund will drop by £1,000
for every minute without
a majority decision.
What the fuck? I'm not going to
change my mind. When I make
a decision, I stand by it.
For every further minute, £5,000.
I'll run it into the ground, bruv.
What?!
Tonight... Come on, come on, faster,
guys, move your fucking arms.
..Rulers on the ropes.
As a result of the Rulers'
indecision,
the prize fund has been frozen.
This is a bad thing.
It's a kick in the nuts.
That's what you get
for being indecisive.
And the Grafters seize power.
Vote for the Ruler you
would like to see eliminated.
THEY SHOUT
How great is that?
All votes are locked.
The gap between the top and bottom
has never been closer.
This is Rise And Fall.
In the penthouse,
the Rulers are in total deadlock.
They can't agree which Grafter
to crown a Ruler,
Sydney or Sophie,
and their indecision has already
cost the prize fund £9,000.
Fuck's sake. Oh, my God, I'm gonna
be sick. I'm gonna be sick.
Prize fund deduction...
We've lost £14,000.
We have £35,000 now.
Let's just give Sydney a chance,
see how she gets on.
If it doesn't work, they go.
I'm going with Sophie.
Come on, before it goes,
let's give Sydney a chance.
Let's give Sophie a chance.
I, actually, genuinely, could cry
right now.
There's no reason as to why Sydney
can't come up here another day.
She's been up twice, she knows
she ain't gonna get up again.
I think we've worked so hard
to get the money up. We have.
And through...
This is the stupidest thing ever.
I'll sit here until it goes down
to zero, 100%. What?!
Fuck! Money doesn't matter?!
Get a fucking grip!
A leader makes a decision
and stands by it.
People do make wrong decisions.
I'm starting to feel sick.
I was kind of hoping that people
would see sense.
Do you know what, don't worry cos
it's clearly obvious anyways.
I vote Sydney.
I can't be fucking bothered.
Screw this.
I'm out.
The whole thing's fucked, man.
That's madness,
what just happened there.
Why fucking stay there, yeah,
and waste other people's money?
He said from the get, he was weak.
You've said it, Mo, I've said it.
What's annoyed me the most is that
he's let the prize fund sink
to 35 grand and then decided
to leave.
If you was going to change your
mind, you should have done it
at the beginning.
I feel like he's been very selfish
and it's all been about him.
Sophie, are you all right, babe?
Babe, come here.
I wanted you to stay. I'm just
pissed we lost all that money,
when I wanted you to stay.
You're telling me I ate dog food,
laid in an ice bath,
for them to do that?
And none of them cared.
He was just doing it
because he's spiteful.
He just fucking killed us,
that's what he's just done,
he's just killed us.
The blame is going on Connor
but Ross and Jack,
they were part of it.
They could have changed their mind.
They've all got to take
responsibility.
It's not just Connor.
Fucking hell.
I think all the Rulers are to blame.
If it wasn't for Connor,
the prize fund would have went
to zero, so I highly respect him
for that.
He took one for the team,
that's what a true leader does.
It was a, "Who's got the biggest
fucking dick?" None of them.
It's absolutely gutting.
The selfishness involved in this
for own personal gain.
I've never seen something
quite like that before.
Rulers, please confirm the name of
the Grafter you would like
to see rise.
Sydney. Sydney. Sydney.
No choice.
She's going to feel awful,
she's just cost...
She's not at fault, though. I know
she's not but she'll feel that.
Obviously,
I am happy to be in the penthouse
but it's just cost us 14 grand
to get me here.
Personal relationships
got in the way,
so, yeah, I just know
the Grafters aren't happy.
It's fucking embarrassing.
All of that hard work for nothing.
This is exactly why I did not vote
for Sydney to go up,
because I knew that the relationship
between her and Jack
would come in between, you know,
making good, sound decisions -
and that's exactly
what we've seen tonight.
They're fucking idiots,
aren't they?
Attention, please.
Shall I carry on grafting?
Sophie, please enter the lift
and return to the basement.
I love you Sophie, just...
I love you. See you later.
See you later. babe.
Bye, Sydney. Bye, babe.
I'm proud of you.
That was the worst way,
I think, to go.
I was so close to being chosen
and I've come back
and have to tell everyone we've lost
14 grand in the process.
Attention, please.
Guys, lift!
Right, guys, you need to sit down.
We know, we've seen in.
We just saw it.
I was literally just sat on
the floor with my head in my hands
as the numbers went down.
I just wish they'd have fucking said
a name.
I don't care if I've ended up
back here. Why did Connor want you?
Yeah. There is a huge alliance
between Jack and Rossi
and Moses and Connor are in
an alliance to get Jack out
but Connor's gone.
They should be reprimanded for this.
They should be but can we not fall
out about this decision-making here
because, when we're down here,
we've got to be a team.
People have lost the reason
why they're in the penthouse
and that is to be a trustee
of the prize.
GREG: You can't be a trustee
without trust
and there's not a lot of that
between the Rulers right now
and they're on their way back
to the penthouse for a debrief.
This should be fun!
We've got to talk to you, mate,
cos Connor's a fucking waste, man.
Well, no, we watched it. You watched
it all? We watched the full thing.
The basement people watched it as
well? I don't know but I'm assuming.
Here you are, listen, you need this.
This is your Ruler badge.
The geezer's a fucking idiot, mate.
And he left, he's done all that
and then left.
All the work we've done is just
wasted cos of what...
Cos of him, bruv. Silliest 14 grand
we've ever lost in our lives,
but if Connor didn't leave,
it would have gone to zero
and that would have been the end of
the game. That would have been
ridiculous.
He's a prick. I was with him all day
and he was talk...
He was t... Oh, man! Calm down.
It's not fair.
We can't do nothing about it.
It's just really disappointing.
There's no point getting ourselves
worked up. We can't just do nothing
about it. It's done.
Imagine they watched the whole
thing, yeah? I know. They've watched
me and you stand by our guns,
you stand by your gun, that is what
they wanted. They wanted someone to
make a decision and stand by it.
In fact, he's not fucking stood by
his guns there, he's weak,
so we have done nothing wrong
collectively
and when people watch it back
they'll see that.
Listen, we've got a work shift
tomorrow.
I know they're going to be thinking,
"What the fuck's the point?" 100%.
But it is what it is.
If that was me and I was a Grafter
and I found out that
the Rulers has lost £14,000
because they couldn't decide
who to become a Ruler...
..I wouldn't want to work.
The reasons they wanted to keep me
in the penthouse were
because of my ruling skills. The
reason they wanted to keep Sydney
in the penthouse is because of
her relationship.
I don't think I've ever lost
so much respect for people
in the way I did today.
I think this was
the biggest mistake from Jack.
He crossed his hands and said,
"Let the prize fund go to zero."
Clearly he doesn't care about
the money. He forgot why he's here.
Just enjoy the fucking ride, mate,
cos you're in the penthouse.
I know, but I just look like
a fucking dickhead.
Anyway, fuck that, did you miss me?
Yeah, I actually have.
Did you miss me? Yeah, loads.
Really? Loads, mate.
I didn't come here to find someone,
that was never on the agenda,
whatsoever.
You spend a lot of time
with someone in here
and two days feels like two years,
so it's a genuine connection.
Tomorrow's a new day.
Losing Connor, for me,
was...the biggest loss.
I mean, I don't think I'm safe
any more in this game.
This game's about doing
whatever you need to do,
to stay and to be relevant
and to still have a chance to win.
Goodnight, Moses. Goodnight, Ross.
Goodnight, everyone.
Goodnight, guys. Goodnight guys.
# Every minute
it's running through my head
# Hundred million thoughts
that I could have said... #
It's morning in London
and we're just six days away
from crowning our winner
but first, Jack and Sydney are
enjoying the kind of special moment
money can't buy. No, actually, yes,
it can. It just cost £14,000.
All right, mate? Yeah.
It's good to have Sydney back.
We had a nice cuddle.
Nice to see her wake up as well
this morning.
Good morning.
Good morning. Morning. That
shouldn't have happened last night.
What the fuck, mate?
I just cannot believe that happened.
Listen, at the end of the day, us
three last night would have
sat there until that went
to zero, right?
The prize fund would have gone down
but, at the same time,
you would have stuck by what
you said.
I feel like every single one of us
will be hated in that basement.
It's shit. Yeah, it's terrible.
We are awful. ..at our job.
We're shit at our jobs!
Don't worry, a good night's sleep
and I'm sure they'll have
forgotten about the whole thing.
ALARM WAILS
Morning, everyone. Morning.
Attention, please.
Prize fund currently stands
at £35,000.
Tonight, one Ruler will be
eliminated from the game.
The whole point of, like, Rulers,
was to manage the prize fund
but I don't think they was doing
an effective job, clearly. Yeah.
Cos it almost went to zero, so.
We need to get him out.
Jack needs to go.
None of them are effective Rulers
at this point.
Yeah. It was in their power
just to stop it straight away.
And they chose not to. Yeah.
I'm ashamed at the
Rulers' performance.
I'm a bit pissed off
at the Grafters as well,
for voting Sydney,
you know, come on.
She got, what, four votes?
So four people in there
are quite naive and a bit stupid.
Attention please, lift falling.
Lift opened.
What's uuuuuup?!
I'm back, back, back again!
Back to my roots, baby!
With the Fall Vote incoming, today
one Ruler will be eliminated.
And talking of people leaving,
he stormed out during
tense negotiations and now,
like a true Westminster Ruler,
Connor has waltzed back in
like nothing's happened.
Except he's now in the basement.
I knew that would happen.
Oh, my Gooood!
I'm back. Oh, my God.
If anyone wants to go up there,
be prepared, the dynamics, it's fake
as fuck up there. Is it? Really?
That's why I just thought,
do you know what,
I'm not being eliminated
on my own terms,
so I threw my pin down
and walked out.
I've come back to the basement
because I was part of the reason
why that money decreased
and I think,
you know, I need to go back
to grafting.
I need to get that prize fund
back up.
The problem is,
it's now up there and I...
Moses don't like the way of
the alliances
but it is alliance heavy up there.
Yeah. Sydney come up, you know,
we all know Sydney's connection
with Jack, we know that.
With her coming up, she's never
going to vote, and Rossi said,
"No matter what Jack does,
I won't ever vote for him."
Jack turned round to me and said...
That's a dangerous place to be.
And Jack said the same about Rossi.
No-one realises that me and Moses
were in a secret alliance,
sabotaging, having to do
what we had to do.
I think the thing is, though, you
know, you didn't let the prize fund
go to zero. I'm telling you what,
if I had not walked then... It would
have went down. ..that would have
gone to zero down, they didn't
give a shit. Yeah. I'm the only one
that actually put my whole chance
on the line, you know,
I just wanted to make money.
Clearly, they've got other ways
of making money.
Let's see how they can do it today.
I think what we all
need to do as Grafters
is be quite strategic about who we
send up. See, there...
There's no way they're ever
letting you back up there.
Yeah, I felt like that. I will be
completely honest with you,
they've offed it, straight away.
Eddy they want in the final,
Sydney they want in the final.
Jack, Rossi and it was James
and I don't know who the sixth...
I mean, they're thinking that six
people are going to be in the final.
that's not going to be possible
because you've got to eliminate
each other, at the end of the day.
They're living in fantasy land
if they think that you will be able
to design the final. Yeah, agreed.
Yeah.
It feels surreal
being back down here.
I didn't think I would ever
want to be back down here,
but grafting was where I started.
Being up there,
I was losing myself day by day.
Well, get ready to lose
a few menu options, too, Connor,
because it's soup, soup, soup
all the way down there.
In the penthouse,
Sydney is reflecting. Literally.
Bruv! Connor's down there.
He's in the basement.
Are you insane?
Man's in the basement.
Ooh!
Woke up this morning
and he's in the basement.
We're all fucked up here.
I know for a fact that Connor
is going to go down there
and relay everything we've said
up here and just slag us off,
so we are Britain's most wanted
up the top here at the minute.
What do you reckon he's saying
down there?
He'll be gunning for me.
He'll say,
"They all planned to vote me off,"
but they all...
They all wanted him out,
so what are they going to say,
what's he going to say, like?
All of us up here...
JACK AND MOSES: Are fucked.
I wonder how he's
going to get on down there.
There's only one reason he's going
to the basement, yeah, and that's
to mug all of us lot off.
Yeah, of course. Yeah. 100%. Or else
he would have just gone home.
The best thing today, right, is if
we can claw back that 14 grand.
Yeah. I'll feel like my
conscience...
No, I don't give a fuck about that,
I don't care. You do give a fuck.
I don't care.
I don't care about anyone
down there.
I'm only being true to myself
and I always will be.
Well, Sydney, enjoy brekkie.
It's your first one up here.
Enjoy it while it lasts, mate.
We've got targets
on all of our heads.
Connor really messed me up
by leaving.
Now I'm stuck here with Jack,
Rossi and Sydney,
the same trio I was avoiding,
all the time.
With them three being up here,
it's really, really dangerous
and catastrophic
for anybody that comes their way.
We've done what we needed to do.
To loyal friends, to loyal friends.
To Connor, arsehole.
That's a strange surname.
What's the breakfast like?
There's, like, cheese and...
I don't want cheese for breakfast.
We had bagels the other day.
Did you? I like a bagel.
But not toasted. Oh!
Attention, please.
All Grafters
report to the work space.
Today, you will be working
as baggage handlers.
Oh, fuck me.
Oh, that is a lot, that's physical.
I'm really excited
about today's work shift.
I want to release some of
the frustrations that I have
after watching those idiots
in the Red Room.
Let's go. More dollar.
So, where do you feel more content,
like, down here or up there?
Down here, I'm just, I think
I want to go up there again,
just to sort the shit out.
Come on, then.
There's massive pressure
to get the prize fund up.
If we carry on going at this rate,
the winner's going to walk out
with a meal deal.
I don't mind a grab bag,
to be honest.
Anyway, I'm on my way
to that Red Room right now
to hear exactly what those Rulers
have got to say for themselves.
And I am cross.
Hi, Rulers. Hello, Greg. Hey. Greg.
Lots to talk about.
First of all, how are you feeling,
Sydney? Obviously,
it's bitter-sweet that it cost
14,000
but I think if I was here last
night, that wouldn't have happened.
Today, we've got to take
big risks for big money
and get the prize fund back up.
We can't let them down again.
The prize fund currently stands
at £35,000.
Your job as Rulers, as we know,
is to manage and increase
that prize fund.
The way we do that
is through work shifts.
Shall we find out what
the Grafters will be doing today?
Yeah. Yes, please. OK.
Oh. Oh, OK. OK.
Conveyor belt.
Today, the Grafters must work as
baggage handlers in a busy airport.
That's all right. Baggage handler,
OK, not bad, not bad,
good start, good start.
They must split themselves
into three key roles.
Baggage Inspection -
where they'll remove any contraband.
Baggage Dispatch - labelling bags
to the right continents.
And Baggage Delivery -
running along the conveyor belt
and placing or throwing bags
into the right chutes.
In each round, Grafters must ensure
the baggage is labelled correctly
and delivered to the correct
continents within a set time.
With four rounds on offer,
the Grafters could potentially earn
up to £25,000.
However, if the Grafters fail
to process all the bags
within the time limit,
they will fail the work shift
and all money will be lost.
Rulers, your decision today is,
how many bag drops you want to make
the Grafters process.
I was cabin crew for seven years.
I've seen how baggage handlers work.
They all know how much money
was lost last night through...
Your mistakes.
Our mistakes. Obviously,
which is going to make them angry,
and hopefully that gives them
the drive to try and smash this.
£25,000 is the prize.
That's good.
So we can claw back that 14 grand.
Yeah. And then make some and, yes,
it can be a shitshow up there
but we've got to keep it solid
down here. Grafters,
stand by for a message
from your Rulers.
Hey, Grafters. I know, obviously,
with the decision last night,
yous will be very angry
and disappointed
but I know all of yous can do this,
I know it's everything
yous all want,
is to push the money up
and today you'll do it.
You've got this.
Hey, Grafters, erm, first of all,
I'm going to apologise
for last night's events.
Hopefully, that won't happen again.
You can all smash this.
Hopefully,
we can claw back that 14K.
Grafters, please keep your head up.
Last night was a minor setback
for a major comeback.
Good luck, guys,
I wish you all the best.
Grafters, if I could be down there
with you doing it all, I would,
you know I would, but keep your
heads up and you'll smash this one,
no problem. All the best.
They are so full of shit,
these guys,
you know, like,
you can't really trust them.
Rossi was actually
the only one there
to hold his hand up and go...
And apologise. .."I apologise."
Exactly. Nobody else up there
actually apologised for what
happened.
There's some very guilty faces
up there.
If they can process four bags
correctly in three minutes,
you'll earn £2,000
for the prize fund.
So, if you're happy
for the Grafters to battle
the baggage today,
please press your buttons.
Come on, team. Attention, please.
Bag drop incoming.
Come on, team. Come on, guys. Work
shift begins in three, two, one.
Just grab... Lean in, lean in.
Open up, open up.
Me, Rachel and Connor
was Inspection,
ripping everything out of the bags,
finding things.
I've got cheese, I've got cheese.
Oh, zip it up,
put it through the security check.
First one is Vienna,
Vienna, Europe. That's in Europe.
I had to read on the label, a city.
We had to identify which continent
was the city in?
Go, go! Europe, go on,
leg it, leg it, leg it.
I'm getting handed the bags with
the location that I need to throw
the bag and I jump on the treadmill
and it's a lot harder than it looks
and the first run,
I go flat on my face.
Oh, fuck.
HE LAUGHS
Wow! It's a lot more painful
than I first imagined.
Right, next one is Dallas.
Oh, that's in North America.
North America!
North America! Next, go.
North America. That is
a lot quicker than you think.
Yes. Next one is Tokyo...
Japan, Asia, Asia! Asia.
We're over halfway done.
It's went red. It's gone red.
So that one's not quite right.
What's happening?
Why's that come back?
Take the clothes out and drop it.
Oh, fish, oh!
Mumbai, Mumbai. India, Asia, Asia!
Asia, Asia, Asia. Asia?
Is this is the last bag?
Get it through.
Oh. Take your time.
Careful, careful!
CHEERING AND APPLAUSE
Bags successfully processed.
Yes, well done.
Well done, well done, team,
well done. Well done, Rulers.
£2,000 earned for the prize fund.
First work shift completed.
Shall we find out what work shift
two is going to be?
Let's go for it. Let's go.
If you add another bag drop,
the Grafters will need to process
seven bags within five minutes.
Yeah. Yeah, we'll go for that, yeah.
Also... Oh.
..the destinations will get
trickier. OK. If you complete it,
you'll earn £5,000
for the prize fund.
If they fail, all the money earned
so far will be lost.
I think they're looking good.
Attention, please.
Bag drop incoming.
INDISTINCT POSITIVE CHATTER
They're all going, "Yes!"
They know they can do it.
Go, go, go, go, go, go.
Unzip one.
There's definitely food in there
cos I can smell it.
A vibrator, really?
Isaak, catch.
Yeah! Keep going.
Prague, Europe. Europe! Europe!
EUROPE!
There we go. Careful.
One bag through.
Wuhan. Asia, Asia, Asia! Oh!
Whoa, shit!
Oh! Oh. I think She's hit her face.
She'll be all right, come on,
come on, come on. Take your time,
take your time.
Ah! Oh, shit.
Could I chuck this bag? Go, go, go!
You got it, you got it.
CHEERING
Love it. Yes! Come on!
Tel Aviv, Israel, Europe.
Israel, Europe!
One more bag needed.
Yeah, easy, easy.
I knew Tel Aviv was in Israel
but I thought Israel was in Europe
because of Eurovision.
CHEERING
And I made a complete
and utter balls up.
They've sent one of the bags
to the wrong destination.
They have to do it again.
Tel Aviv. Tel Aviv!
Asia, Asia, Asia!
Asia! Israel is in Asia.
Asia? Yeah. Yeah.
Whoo! Well done, guys.
Bags successfully processed.
That was quite tight.
Stressful, but customs
is always stressful.
Another £5,000 earned
for the prize fund.
That takes today's earnings
up to £7,000.
Nice. Really good. Halfway through
the stuff you lost last night.
Yeah.
If the Grafters complete
the next bag drop,
they will add £8,000
to the prize fund.
To do that, they must
successfully process 13 bags
in eight minutes.
I think they can do it.
I think they can do it.
Moses has pressed.
8 minutes to process 13 bags.
Here we go.
Attention, please.
Bag drop incoming.
Well done.
Work shift begins in three, two...
We've got this, guys. ..one.
Just pass it over to me, yeah?
Let's do this!
Use your senses.
Good start.
They're very fast with the bags.
Winnipeg. That's in Canada.
North America, North America!
North America!
I need to do really well
at this work shift.
This is an opportunity
to put myself out there
for tomorrow's vote
to go to the penthouse.
Come on, guys. Come on, come on,
faster, guys,
move your fucking arms,
let's go, let's go, let's go.
Oh, God. If you're tired,
I can do it. I'm a bit tired.
Right, give 'em here.
Asia!
Yes. Come on, guys.
How do we keep missing
the fucking fish?
Fucking hell.
North America or South?
South America!
Shit. Another one coming.
Yes!
YES!
One more bag.
CHEERING
They've got it. Yes!
They've got it. Yes.
Jesus... Fucking good effort, guys.
Well done.
They've got to let us go again.
Yeah. They've got to let us go.
That is £15,000
earned for the prize fund.
Three drops in the bag
but there's one final bag drop
on offer and it's a biggy.
If the Grafters can process
20 bags in 10 minutes,
they will add £10,000
to the prize fund,
banking you the full amount of
£25,000 for the entire work shift.
If the baggage
gets the better of them,
then you will lose all the money
that they've earned so far today.
I don't think it's possible.
Yeah, I think that's far too tight.
It's too risky.
The 15 is better than having none.
Don't...
I know you're thinking about it.
Jack, are you wavering over there?
He's thinking about it.
Oh.
I am very tempted to press the
button, just to see what happens.
It's a big risk.
A massive risk but it's a massive
pay out. It's an extra ten grand.
Attention, please.
Work shift ended.
I told you. I told you, they're
going safe cos they feel guilty
for losing the money.
Total money banked - £15,000.
Ah, piss off!
I feel really demoralised because
we absolutely smashed that task.
Oh, for God's sake.
What a shitshow.
Congratulations, Rulers,
you managed to add £15,000
to the prize fund today
but I have some news
about tonight's elimination
and you're not going to like it.
Last night you lost £14,000
because you could not reach
a collective decision.
The decision about who falls
is being taken from you.
Your fate is now in the hands
of the Grafters.
The Grafters will vote
in a secret ballot.
The Ruler with the most votes
will leave tonight.
The Rulers are headed back
to the penthouse
and with a Grafter-led elimination
vote hanging over them,
it's not exactly
a carnival atmosphere.
Oh, welcome home.
Home sweet home.
I want a fucking cup of tea.
Obviously, Sydney is immune,
so it's between me,
Jack and Moses. I'm not surprised
because what happened last night,
erm, shouldn't have happened.
I think the best approach
will be saying,
"Listen, this is what I've done
as a Grafter,
"this is what I've done as a Ruler."
This is probably
a life-saving event for me.
Jack, Sydney and Ross
are the bestest of friends.
I had the feeling, if we had gone
into the Red Room today and voted,
I would have been picked to go.
This is my way of proving
to the Grafters to pick me
over any of them.
Ah, it's between me and...
Between me and Jack.
You ain't going nowhere near it.
Like, there's just no point
in fucking saying it's between...
It's me, we all know it's going to
be. You never know, you never know.
Cos I'm not going to go in and beg.
Yeah, but if Connor's liking...
You know, I don't even think the
whole begging thing or even
explaining...
Well, I'm not going to go, then.
I don't have to fucking explain
myself to no fucking...
A lot of them don't know you, bro.
Don't care, fuck 'em.
I'm not going to beg. I'm not
going to walk in there and say,
"Please pick me, I want to be
here because of this reason."
That's never going to happen.
I wouldn't do it on the outside.
I'm not going to do it here.
Downstairs
and guess how Eddy's celebrating
that successful work shift.
Right, get the bread on.
Of course! "Get on the bread, lads."
Shower...
INDISTINCT CHATTER
I think I'm going to
wash my body quickly. Yeah.
Two-second job.
We did an amazing job.
We lost £14,000 yesterday.
We, the Grafters, made £15,000.
I hope they understand their job
is not to decrease the prize fund,
it's to increase the prize fund.
The Fall Vote is nearly upon us
and the Grafters are still unaware
that they're about
to be given the power
to remove a Ruler.
What do you think is
happening tonight?
One person is definitely
going tonight.
I'm intrigued. This is probably
the most exciting one we've had.
No-one knows what is going to
happen.
But, yeah, my money's on Moses.
Not because he's a weak Ruler.
Just because of the dynamics?
Yeah, the dynamics
and he's outnumbered up there.
Moses is strategic and clever
but it's crap that Sydney's up there
because I think Moses has probably
made himself a bit of a target.
Upstairs, Ruler Jack continues
to break all the rules.
No shoes on the bed!
How are you feeling? Yeah, sound.
I just feel that you put this
guard up all the time.
Well, I'm sound. Why?
I don't know.
I just feel this is what you do.
What do you mean, like, what?
You put this front on and then...
Obviously, I don't really want to go
cos I'll miss the people and that
but it's...
That's just the way it is, the way
the cookie crumbles... No, it's not,
you see, this is what I mean,
you put this front on and it just,
I don't know, I want us in the final
and I just feel like...
That ain't going to happen, mate.
When I was down there, everyone kept
telling me, like, to stop giving up
and I feel like, I've got up here
and now you're doing it.
I ain't given up. It just makes me
coming up pointless. It does.
Obviously, the worst outcome for me
is jack gets voted out.
Everyone loves Jack, everyone knows
he deserves to be up there,
so it's annoying if, obviously,
he gets eliminated because of me and
him although I think that will be
the only reason why people
are voting for him.
The Rulers' lives are in
the Grafters' hands,
as well as some things
slightly more unsanitary.
Nice!
Don't throw food, guys,
listen, it's bad luck.
It's a sock.
I'm right here and I can see.
You can't see because of the light.
I promise, I promise why...
I promise. These are my old socks
and I swear to God...
They're not, they're mine. Oh! Fuck!
Not the cheeriest of thoughts
but the mood is sombre
all over because,
despite this lovely looking spread,
for one of the Rulers,
this will be their final
penthouse picnic.
Enjoy, guys, enjoy. The last supper,
it could be our last supper.
Yeah, I know.
This is going to be...
This is going to be shit.
..one of the hardest eliminations...
..knowing that one of us
is actually going.
No-one deserves to go
at this table now. No, they don't.
Today's a very,
very important day for me.
It's looking like
a battle of masculinity,
to be honest, but I just got to make
sure I don't get voted out today.
Attention, please.
Oh, here we go.
As a result of the Rulers'
indecision last night,
the prize fund has been frozen.
Frozen?
Rulers do not have the ability
to spend money on any rewards today.
Shit! The Rulers
don't have that power.
I feel gutted for the Grafters that
they didn't get their rewards
and the prize fund was frozen
because I feel partly responsible
for the reason that happened and
I feel like it wasn't fair.
This is a bad thing.
Yeah, they've targeted us again.
Because the reward is what they
really, really need right now.
Obviously,
it's a kick in the nuts, really.
You always want to reward them
but that's what you get
for being indecisive.
We've now lost them money and now
we're going to punish them further
for not being able
to give them rewards.
We've already been punished enough
for their indecision
and now we've got another night
of bread roll and soup
because they couldn't say
a fucking name.
It just fuelled our anger
towards the Rulers even further.
Our last meal together.
Yeah. Nice chicken.
The potatoes are nice. Yeah.
Attention, please. All Rulers
report to the Red Room immediately.
You all right?
# And way down we go... #
We're about to enter
a Red Room like no other.
This is it, ain't it?
It is a lottery,
it's literally a curveball,
anything can happen.
I just don't know how tonight's
going to go.
It's a hard one to call.
I'm going to go in there and I'm
going to fight with all of my heart.
This is my only chance
to solidify my stay in this game.
The one thing that I'm just gutted
is the private toilet.
The only thing I'm like, uh!
TV!
ALL SHOUT
Fucking hell!
SHRIEKING AND EXCITED CHATTER
Oh, it's so good to be this end.
Oh, here we go.
I'm glad I'm not a part of that.
Attention, please. Last night,
as a result of indecision,
the Rulers lost £14,000
from the prize fund.
Tonight, the power shifts.
One Ruler will be eliminated.
The Grafters will decide who.
Oh, my God!
The fates of the Rulers
will be decided by the Grafters.
Each Ruler will be granted
one final address to plead
for their precious penthouse
survival.
One of them is about to fall.
Grafters, voting will take place
in a secret ballot.
The new Ruler is immune.
The Ruler with the most votes
will be eliminated from the game
and must leave
the building immediately.
I'm so happy there is a way for us
to get rid of one of the Rulers.
How great is that?
Who does not belong here any more?
SHRIEKING
Oh, my gosh. My heart.
Rulers, please state
why you should stay. Moses.
Hello, guys. Erm,
as you can probably tell,
I'm fighting a very tough battle
right now.
I fought for Sophie last night
because I believed that she had
the qualities that we needed,
she's outspoken, she's strong
and she's a great decision maker
so I believed
that she deserved to be here
and the results of that caused us
a loss of £14,000.
However, guys,
in today's work shift,
I pulled myself together.
I pushed the button
and I pushed you guys to the third
round, which made us £15,000 today.
So he pushed us.
So, that was my way of apologising
and essentially just making back
the money that we lost.
I'm very, very equal,
I'm very, very fair.
I have no alliances and I want
every single person up here
to absolutely get a fair chance.
Thank you.
You know, he said, like,
"I'm fighting a tough battle,"
and you can see that.
I know, I know what he's getting...
Well, we know what he's alluding to.
Rossi.
Hi, guys. Firstly, congratulations
on today's work shift,
you all absolutely smashed it.
Everyone gave their all.
I really do apologise
for last night.
It was an awful thing that happened.
We couldn't come to a decision.
It was 50/50.
We got 15 grand back today.
I know it's not a lot
but we clawed that money back.
We just need to build that prize
fund so whoever's going to win it
can take it home and be proud of
their selves. Erm, anyway, guys,
that's me over and out, erm...
Erm...lots of love, take care.
He's a nice person.
I think having a good heart,
it's, you know, very well
but it's not going to increase
that prize fund.
I'm going to tell you, I hate two
words - compassion and empathy.
People keep throwing these
words around.
They don't even know the fucking
definition of these words.
Jack.
Grafters, how are we all?
Apologise.
Erm, basically, when I first
come into this whole experience,
the chemistry I had with everyone
in there was electric, I've never...
I've never felt a bond like it
and you grow over the weeks
to be so close to each other,
you literally turn into a family.
I feel like when you look back
on your time in the basement
with me as a Grafter
you'll see it and you'll think,
"Do you know what, he was
such a big, big part of that,
"his energy got me through
tough times,"
erm, you might not think
I was leading down there,
but when you do look back at it
and you think, do you know what,
I naturally led people to be happier
to have the morale
and to keep up hopes in camp.
Whatever happened last night,
happened last night,
it wasn't the way it meant to go but
I know how hard it was
for everyone in the situation.
You've got to make your decision.
You've been amazing.
I've had such a good time
and hopefully it can continue.
Didn't... Didn't say sorry.
He didn't apologise.
Voting will begin shortly.
The Grafters are wasting no time
in getting down to business.
So, we've discussed loads, I think,
on why they shouldn't be here,
but the reality is, we need to know
why they should be.
What they did was terrible
and I want to get payback.
Jack. What does he actually bring?
He is straight to the point.
He said, "I will let it run down to
zero, I don't give a fuck." Yeah.
For that... I don't...
He can't be a Ruler.
And why should Rossi be here?
He's got a good heart, I believe.
Just a good heart.
How confident is he to be able
to stand up and challenge people?
Yeah. And why do we think
Moses should be here?
Everything he's said,
he's stuck to his guns.
He hasn't followed the crowd up
there and I think as a leader,
if you want to be a leader,
you lead, you don't follow.
Moses and Jack have got
that strong thing
and if they clash like they did
again yesterday
and then we lose more prize money,
that's... That's risky.
All of them had so much potential
going up there.
Get me up there! I'm fucking turning
into a skeleton down here.
Attention, please.
Here we go, guys.
Grafters,
you must vote for the Ruler
you would like to see
lose their power.
I'm in a real pickle at the moment
on who to vote for.
They've all got their qualities
but they've also got massive,
massive flaws.
This is the first time
where I've felt
I'm in the grey area between
the friendship side of things
and also the reality
that we're actually in a game.
The penthouse can change
the best of us.
Power can corrupt people.
Power can corrupt
your character,
your morals and your values.
Rossi, for me, he's got a big heart
but that's his only pro.
Someone like that can't be
in the game.
It feels good to have power.
This is the first time I've had it
since I've been here
and I knew straight away
who I wanted out.
I'm not voting against people
who are strong
and know what they're doing,
I'm voting for the individual
who's the weakest leader.
All votes are locked.
Guys, come on!
The Grafters have voted.
Each Ruler received
at least one vote.
The Ruler who received
the most votes is...
I just hope and I pray
that it keeps me in the game.
I would love to stay.
I've still got a lot to give.
Very, very tense
atmosphere. Obviously,
we're only in there for one reason.
Someone's got to go home.
