Daisy, Cole, Mary Mary, and Humpty keep watch over Ms. Mac's farm while She's away for the day./Daisy and Cole build a new bridge for Jaime.

Daisy and Cole are doing a great job
of trucking the hay around.

There, all ready.

Are you sure it's market day today, Lucy?

Well, yes, of course, I'm sure.

Oh, my flapping feathers!

I forgot my hat.

Wait one minute!

Oh, but, Lucy,
your hat is already on your...

Oh... [tsks] never mind.

[chuckles] She'll figure it out.

Look at me, Farmer Daisy.

I'm bringing in another bale of hay.

Me, too! Look out, Farmer Cole!



Beep, beep, beep!

Fastest farmer first!

Yeah. Thanks, Ms Mac.

We're farmers today, like you.

Do you like our tractors?

Oh, my flapping feathers!

Who's going to look after the farm animals
while we're selling cheese at the market?

[gasps] Oh.

-[Daisy and Cole] Please, please!

It's okay, Lucy.

We've got a couple
of great farmers right here.

They can help out.

Oh, my bonny beak! Will you?

Sure, we will!
What do you need us to do?

Uh, dig up all the fields?

Give the sheep haircuts?

[gasps]

Just think of all the balls of wool.

[chuckles] No, no. Mm-mm.

All you need to do is this.

Close the gate so the animals
can't run off,

then let them out of the barn.

[Lucy] And once they're out of the barn,
you feed them.

That's right.

Then bring them back inside
at the end of the day. Got that?

Got it. Farm animals out.

Feed them, bring them back inside.

Easy-peasy.

Oh, d-don't let them all out at once!

Oh, and be sure not to startle them!

Hello. We came to play.

Or not. Whatever.

We're real farmers today.

We're going to take of the animals
all day long.

I've always wanted to drive a tractor.

Great! We're all ready.

Our first job is...

[tsks] Uh...

Oh, yeah, get the animals
out of the barn.

Uh, I guess we forgot to shut the gate.

-[hinges creak]
-[Daisy] Uh-oh!

Are you sure this is market day?

Yes, I'm sure, I'm sure.

-[cow bell clanging]
-This gives us plenty of time to set up.

[clanging continues]

-Did you hear that?
-Hear what?

I could have sworn I heard a bell.

Never mind.

[snoring]

-[bell clanging]
-[clucks]

[clucking]

[all clucking]

Oh, dear!

[chickens clucking]

Before we start our picnic,
let's make sure everyone's here.

Libby, Louis, Lizzie, Leah, Lily,

-sheep, Leo, Lester...
-[sheep giggles]

Uh, wait a minute!

[sheep bleating]

We've got to get the animals back.

We promised to look after them.

It's okay. We just have
to think it through.

What can we use
to lead the animals back here?

All I can see is lots of animal feed.

That's it!

We'll use the feed to get
the farm animals to come home.

I love that idea, Farmer Cole.

We'll put down lines
of yummy corn and hay,

and the animals will follow them
all the way back here.

The animals will definitely

-[animals calling]
-[kids gasp]

[Daisy and Cole] Yes!

-The chickens are back!
-[quacking, chirping]

Those are ducks, not chickens.

They live on the pond, not in the barn.

Hello, five little ducks.

Great to see you, but, uh,
can you please stop eating the corn?

It's for the chickens.

[quacking]

Don't worry. There's still the hay.

[crows cawing]

Oh.

[crow caws]

Okay, so we need another idea.

Let's think this through.

What would Ms Mac do?

I've got it!

I'll round up the cows with this tractor.

Beep, beep!

Tractor Driver Humpty to the rescue!

Yeah, and I'll be a sheepdog
and bring the sheep home.

And I could be a sheep-kitten.

I suppose you want me
to drive the other tractor

and round up the chickens?

-Sure, Mary Mary, that would be a great...
-Whee-hee!

Let's go! Beep, beep!

No farm animals up here.

None behind here either.

-[Humpty] Hello, chickens! Hello, cows!
-[Mary Mary] This is never going to work.

Cole, I've spotted the sheep. Follow me!

[sheep snoring]

[both] Hi there, sheep!
We've come to bring you home!

[sheep bleating, galloping]

Oh, no.

We scared them off.

[all snoring]

Hello, cows.

-[horn honking]
-[cows bellow]

I told you it wouldn't work.

We found the sheep.

But then we scared them away
by mistake.

Same here.

We found the cows,
but then Humpty scared them off.

It wasn't just me.

We saw the chickens
over on Jack and Jill's Hill.

Let's go get them.

Come on, farmers!

[chickens clucking]

-Here, chick-chick chickens!
-[chickens clucking wildly]

Aw, that didn't work either.

Maybe they went back to the barn.
[chuckles]

They probably didn't.

[sighs] Okay, let's go see.

[Ms MacDonald] Hmm.

-Where is everybody?
-[laughs] I know.

It's so quiet.

If I didn't know better,
I'd almost think I got the wrong day.

-[laughs]
-Lucy...

It's the wrong day, isn't it?

[chuckles] Never mind.

Let's pack up.

Told you they didn't
come back to the farm.

This is a farmy disaster.

Ms MacDonald has a farm,
and on that farm there's nothing!

Huh!

Look! They're way over there.

But how do we get them back to the barn?

Ms Mac and Lucy Goosey will be home soon.

Hey, I know!

We're farmers, right?

Yes. So?

So maybe they'll come back
if we sing like farmers.

looking after them on the farm,

are best for building.

[chuckles] No problem. Let's start again.

My tower will be the best,
because blocks are best for building.

Nuh-uh. My sticks are way better.

Busy with construction work, are you?

[chuckles] Me, too.

Hi, Itsy Bitsy Spider.

You're a builder,
so you can settle this.

What's the best thing for building,
sticks or blocks?

You know, they're both
great building materials.

It depends on what you're building

and finding the right material for it.

Speaking of building,
I've got my hands full today,

all eight of them.

We couldn't find Itsy Bitsy,

but Hickory will ask her to come help us
as soon as he sees her.

Those bricks look pretty heavy.

[grunting]

How long does it take to build a bridge?

I don't know,
but we're about to find out.

Huh, looks like sticks aren't so great
for building bridges with after all.

Still best for chewing, though.

Why don't we try something blocky
and really big?

a bunch of big blocky things?

Hay bales are big and blocky.

I saw some before.

[Cole] You're right!

And there are lots more on the farm.

[birds chirping]

-[gasps]

Itsy Bitsy, over here!

Hey, Hickory, how's it going?

I'm crazy busy today.

Daisy and Cole were looking for you.

Jaime's Bridge has fallen down.

So, it looks to me

like some construction work's
been going on here.

-[Daisy] Uh-huh.
-Talk me through what you've tried so far.

First we tried building
a big stick bridge.

But it didn't work.

And then we tried hay bale blocks.

Didn't work either.

This is a real building challenge.

You said before
that building is all about

finding the right materials
for the job.

But we haven't tried
all of those things together.

Huh? How does that work?

We could use Itsy's cobwebs
to hold Daisy's sticks together

on top of my hay bale blocks.

Would that work?

I think so.
