People have a very hard time

wrapping their heads
around the unknown.

We're taught from the time
we're very little

that this stuff doesn't exist.

But there are places
all over the world

that have a phenomena
that science tells us

shouldn't happen.

And when you're one
of those people

who has these experiences,
you are changed forever.

So, Jack and I are on our way

to Strawberry River
Bed and Breakfast right now.

So, Strawberry River Inn
is in the Uinta Basin,



and the property
adjacent to the inn,

which is Skinwalker Ranch.

Yeah.

And skinwalker is infamous
for paranormal activity.

It's like the melting pot
for all things paranormal.

So, we're here because

your friend asked us

Recently, he has been having
some unique activity

at his bed-and-breakfast

...from ghosts and
poltergeist activity

to possession.

And that's what I find
so interesting.

Ranch is what made this area,

for paranormal activity...

...so, kind of makes sense
that Ryan's bed-and-breakfast

is having activity as well.

It wouldn't just be confined
to one property

if it's the whole area.

to see cryptids.

People claim to see
aliens and...

UFOs, cryptos,

ghosts, demonic activity --

people have experienced here.

And when we start going back
through accounts of people

having this type of experiences,

it's the whole county.
It is.

And it's been that way
for a very, very long time.

I mean, there is petroglyphs
from Native Americans

on big rock cliffs around here,

and they've got
weird **** drawn.

Historically speaking,

the Ute Indians and the Navajos

had years of warring factions.

So, the legend goes that
this land was cursed,

and they began to allegedly
torment each other

by sending skinwalkers.

They were like
evil medicine men.

harass the tribes,

and they would
make people get sick,

and they would do
all sorts of stuff,

I mean, take on the form
of any animal.

Like a malevolent,
nonhuman shapeshifter.

He ended up buying

the Strawberry River
Bed and Breakfast

to be close to the ranch,
and as things have progressed,

his place has become, like,
a hotbed of activity itself.

So, Ryan, what's been going on?

As soon as I decided
to renovate the place,

almost immediately,
it seems like activity

just started spiking.

Like what kind of stuff?

My mom showed up with a friend,

and they saw a full-body dark,

kind of shadow-ish man
walk around the corner

around here, and -- Here?

Just out in the outside.

Oh. And they were
like, "What the heck?"

And they popped right in
and saw that I was here.

And they were wondering
how I got here so quickly

and why I was dressed
differently, and I was like,

"I haven't gone out today,
you know.

I haven't gone outside."
So, I don't know what it was.

Have you always had activity
inside the inn

or is that a recent development?

All the activity's
always been on the outside,

and I guess that's
kind of my issue,

is it's come inside now.

And do you think that's
from the renovations?

I do.

We got a family coming that's
been working on the house.

They could probably

And honestly, now that
the activity's on the inside

and I've spent all this money

getting it renovated,
I'm like...

I just really need to get it

because, you know, it's a B&B.

This is my mom and my stepdad
and my grandma.

And so, when did that
all change for you then?

When we started
remodeling in here.

What happened?

I come with my daughter-in-law
to fix the water,

and I came around
that side of the house,

and I felt like something
was looking at me,

and I just turned
around and looked,

and right here on the other side
on there was...

I would think it was an alien.

It was kind of white, grayish,

big, sunken eyes
that were black.

And I just stood there.

I kind of froze.

I didn't dare look at it

because I was frozen with fear.

My knees felt like
they were gonna buckle.

Something just said to me,
"Just get out of here."

So, I started actually
walking before Bonnie did.

And then I hurried and went,
got in the car.

So, are you okay?

It's scary.
Yeah.

You know,
because I don't know...

You know, I just feel funny.

Bonnie very much believes
that she saw

basically what we would consider
a "Gray,"

which are the gray aliens.

And she believes
that she saw this,

and she was so scared by it that
she had to leave the property.

Strawberry River Inn

Where's Skinwalker Ranch

in relation to where we're at?

So, basically, we've got
Skinwalker Ranch

here to the east,
over these ridge lines.

All these structures
here are mine.

Let's talk about some
of the things

that you have experienced
outside of your house.

In this field here,
I've seen shadow figures,

towards the back
of the house here

where motion sensors
have gone off,

and I've looked back and just
kind of seen a shadow go by.

Up on the ridge here,
I saw what for all intents

and purposes looked like
a guy in a fur coat.

You saw, like, a hairy man?

Something hairy, yeah.

Upright on two legs?

Upright on two legs.

It had almost like
a reddish color

because it was so sunny.

It was a lot taller
than the average person.

How tall?

NBA range -- 7 foot.

Whether you want to call
that a Sasquatch,

others would call it
a skinwalker,

some people call it a Dogman.

I was just on my horse

and tried to catch up
and couldn't keep up.

That's slightly disturbing.

Wow, okay.

T.J. and his family,

they've had so many
different experiences here,

and it seems like
the genesis of things

happening within the house
really started

with the renovating.

I heard some banging down there
in the garage,

so I walked down to the garage,

there was nothing there.

So, I turned, I was getting
nervous, come back up,

walked out that door
right there.

As I was walking out,
something told me,

"Get out" and slammed that door.

Aaaaaaah!

That door right there,
as I was walking out,

something told me, "Get out"

and slammed that door.

And you were here
all by yourself?

By myself.

What did the voice
sound like to you?

It was like a deep, angry voice.

Like an old lady.

Oh, like a female, though? Yeah.

Telling me, "Get out."

What did you think about that?

Scared the crap out of me.

I mean, I don't know
how to explain that.

I haven't been back here
since other than this day.

So, I was just down the street,
pretty close.

We got here,
and he was terrified.

What are these
paranormal experiences?

Is it a ghost, is it an alien,
is it this, is it that?

At the end of the day,
it doesn't matter

because these experiences
are still happening.

All of this back here,

this is all
Native American land --

the Ute tribe.

Do you believe in the curse

between the Navajo
and the Ute Indians?

I absolutely do.

Are you scared,
are you freaked out

by the stuff
that goes on around here?

It's a little bit of a tap
on the shoulder, too,

like realize that there's more

to our reality
than you'd realize.

But people have literally died.

And there's no explanation
for them dying,

so it's absolutely dangerous.

There's more questions
than answers for sure.

We're trying to figure out

what's going on here
at Ryan's house,

but this place is haunted
by aliens and cryptids

and Native American spirits
and ghosts.

It's just, like, too much stuff.

a paranormal investigator.

I mean, he himself has had

his own unique experiences
at this property.

I was here with my family,

and I had run
a wireless camera --

thermal camera -- outside.

So, it was beaming the image
back to me, okay?

All of a sudden, a point
of light came up over the ridge,

and this object started
cruising over the mountain.

And so, I run outside,
but I can't see it,

and yet they're watching it
there on the thermal camera.

And this is what you see here.

Now, here's this object,
and as it gets closer,

you can see that there
are three points of light.

And to me, it looks
triangular shaped.

- Yeah.
- Huh.

It was completely silent.

And it only showed up

the heat signature in thermal.

- Mm.
- Mm.

And then a couple hours later,

I came in from the outside,

and my friend literally
sat up in the bed --

he'd been asleep
for like 45 minutes --

looked me in the eyes,
and he growled at me.

"Get out.
What are you doing?"

I mean, I jumped back

and almost fell backwards

because, you know,
I wasn't expecting this.

Yeah.

And to this day, he doesn't
remember this happening.

He's saying that
he was possessed?

Yeah. I mean, I don't know
what else to say.

It wasn't...
It wasn't him.

All these people keep hearing
this phrase "get out."

You know, there's a pattern
of this happening,

and it's been happening
within the last couple years.

So, why are they hearing that?

Is there something specific
about those people?

Do they have Native American
ties within their family

and does it go back
to the curse?

Because we're here,
if you go up this ridge,

everything from here back

is just all
Native American land.

There's nothing out there.

Which also seems to fit
the profile

that a lot of these things
coincide, right,

with the reservations
nearby.Yeah.

Yeah, it's weird
because the places

that have this
type of activity --

UFO ties, you know,
poltergeists --

it's always Native American ties

and anybody that might have
that blood within them.

My guess is whatever it is
wants to be known.

It wants you to know, like,

"I'm here,
and I don't want you here."

They're used in hunting or,
you know,

just tracking wildlife.

And they're motion-activated,
and when something triggers it,

it'll take three shots
every second.

So, we're using these instead
of the normal cameras

because the battery life
is way longer.

the little IR light

is kind of on there.

So, this gives us three extra
fields of view,

where if something triggers it,
we're gonna be able to see it.

So, we have a lot of ground
to cover

with the investigation tonight.

Katrina's gonna focus
on the inside

and really kind of tap in

to the poltergeist/haunting
stuff that's been going on.

And Ben and I are gonna be
focusing more on the exterior.

that have experiences

related to this chief

who was in this area.

is that he's her great,

great, great, great grandfather.

But why now?

Because I think they came back.

It's her direct descendent.

of Native American blood,

but it's not Ute or Shoshone
or anything, so...

Yeah. You got to think, they
were fighting over this land

for so long.

You know, any other tribe
would have been a threat.

So, if we're looking at it
through those lenses, to me,

that makes complete sense.

You're somebody that threatens
their whole way of life.

I mean, it's definitely

in and around the house.

3 is the kitchen

the main living room

and the belief is that spirits
can manipulate this

the voices that Mindy and T.J.
and Mike and Bonnie

have heard telling them

It's basically trained
to map things

that have mass
in the shape of a human body.

is a pattern,

for in the paranormal.

People that experience things
within this house

have Native American blood.

was bringing in Mindy.

What's interesting is,
for the most part,

it was pretty quiet
until we had Mindy come in.

And when she came in here,
we started hearing her name.

Did it say my name?

So it seemed to have this level
of protection for her,

and we obviously know,
going through

the history of her family,

that there is a connection
here for her, for you.

You have Native American blood
in you.

Ben has Native
American blood in him.

You guys are all hearing
the same message,

experiencing the same
kind of paranormal activity.

That kind of makes sense
with the theory

that we're running with.

I feel like it is something
that, you know --

that wants to make peace,

but in the long run,

maybe they just want to be here
and just left alone.
