The writing thing was kind of an accident.

When I was little, my mama taught me that

song lyrics were just poems put to music.

And she used to get the little cd jackets

so I'd know what I was singing along to.

And soon as I could write,

I started trying to write
my own poems and stories.

And you love it?

It's just always amazed me,

when you're trying to create an image,

the difference that a word makes.

you get with that image,
