Juhi comes home after getting message from Neil's phone but doesn't find him anywhere; only the phone at the door. Shortly after, Neil arrives looking almost as baffled as Juhi. Neil shows her the picture he found in his pocket along with some juhi flower petals and coaxes her to go back to the party while goes back into the house looking for Rhea. At Juhi-Neil's house- Rhea divulges the details of her life and past to Neil. However, things escalate between Rhea and Neil after she instigates him to a point where he attacks her. - He was not worthy of you.
- And who are you to decide that?

Just because you slept with him,

it does not give you a right
to judge my marriage.

I know the truth about my marriage.

I'm sorry for what happened.

Especially for
what happened with you.

UNTRUTH

F**k! F**k!

Rhea?

Rhea?

Rhea, where are you?

Keys?

Where's my phone?

Rhea?

Neil?

Neil?

Neil, this is childish.

I'M RIGHT HERE, VERY CLOSE

Neil?

Neil?

Neil?

Juhi? What are you doing here?
Why aren't you at the party?

You messaged me to come here...

- And your phone was fallen here...
- What?

You didn't call me here?

Rhea.

Juhi, listen to me. Listen.

After you got upset
and left from college today.

I went to the bar. I was there
when all of a sudden...

I got a message from Rhea.

She wanted me to come
to her hostel.

- Why?
- How do I know?

I didn't reply, and then she called.

She started making up stories.

She said...

"I'm going to tell Juhi ma'am
that you had sex with me."

No, Juhi, wait. Juhi, I know.
Listen to me.

I'm sorry about that, but...
You know this is bulls**t, right?

Can you imagine? No.

I yelled at her and hung up
and went to the washroom.

When I came back,
my phone was missing.

And how do you know she was
the one who stole your phone?

Wait.

I found this in my jacket.
Look at this.

This? This photo...

Papa told me, he had sent
it for framing.

- How did Rhea get it, then?
- Why did Papa lie?

This girl is up to something.

You know what I think?
You should go back to the party.

- I'll stay here.
- No, I'll...

No, listen to me.

She could land up at the party.

And she might want
to create a scene there.

You should go there now.
Go, Juhi. Go.

Uh. Before you leave...

Take care, please.

I love you so much.
Please don't leave me, come what may.

I love you very much, babe,
I really do.

Neil, you really f****d up.

And... I-I have to go.

Forty something years ago,
I went into the college library

looking for a book and...

found instead the rest of
the roadmap of my life.

Rhea. Rhea, I know you're here.

Come on, let's have this out.

'There, sitting at a table
in the literature section was...'

...the most beautiful woman
I have seen, ever.

Yes, she was sitting
right next to me.

' I didn't find the book
in the library that day.'

'But I found the missing piece
from the puzzle of my life.'

During weddings,
the priests often say...

Husband and wife
are like the wheels of a car.

And who knows that better than
us mountain-dwellers?

'It is tough to drive
on hilly roads.'

'There are a lot of twists and turns,
some known, some unknown.'

'Some, highly dangerous.'

But we ensure that one foot is
always constantly on the brakes.

We've faced many
such turns too.

- 'I must say, we've managed to...'
- Rhea.

- '...roll along...'
- Where are you?

'...rather smoothly.'

But it's been an incredible journey,
let me say.

And we've still managed to keep
our shock absorbers working.

Driving along. Or, should I say,
Driving the car of life.

We did lose our way sometimes.

But somehow, passing
through those mountains...

Despite all the bumps and the effort...

Despite the hurdles,
we always managed to find our way home.

And that, my dear friends,
is thanks to my navigator.

My partner in crime.

- My everything, Sudha.
- Cheers!

- Cheers.
- Cheers, my love.

I'm glad you're having a drink.

Cheers.

- Shonu hasn't joined us? Cheers.
- It's so nice to see you.

Hello.

- You must...
- I need to talk to you.

- My daughter, Juhi.
- Hello. Hi.

- Bipasha, you remember?
- Yes, but we have to talk. Sorry.

- It's okay.
- Excuse me a moment.

'Your glass is empty.
Please, fill it up. Please.'

You know how children are, no?

Always the spoilsports, right?

Malt?

Give my keys back.

And what the hell do you want?

What is this?

Didn't you send this photo
for framing, Papa?

How did Rhea get it? Papa?

I don't know. I don't remember.

- Papa?
- 'Juhi?'

Nandu, what's the matter?

- Only papa can tell.
- But what happened?

Only papa can tell us
how Rhea got this photo.

- We can talk about this tomorrow.
- Really?

Do you know Rhea?

Maybe she was my student
for a few terms.

So you do know her.

After 35 years of marriage...

you don't think I know
when you're lying to me, Anand?

Look, I don't know how this girl
got hold of this photograph.

Can we just let this be for now, please?
There are guests outside.

- No!
- What?

- Say it.
- What?

What? You can't even look me
in the eye, can you?

Manjiri.
Do you remember Manjiri?

- I knew it.
- Who is Manjiri?

She was a student of his.

But obviously, she was more than
a student to you.

So you did have an affair
with her, after all?

- Papa? Affair?
- It was nothing.

- Two or three times we just...
- Two or three, Anand?

Okay, three. How does all this
matter now, Sudha?

Are you having an affair
with Rhea too?

No, I'm not having an affair
with this girl.

- Then what is it?
- She's your sister!

That's all I wanted him
to tell Juhi.

But what I wanted,
was never important.

And why would it be?

He had Juhi.

A perfect daughter.

If only, my maa had told me
that I wasn't Rajguru's daughter.

I would have handled it better.

Imagine having two dads,
and yet feeling like an orphan.

'To my real father, I was
nothing but an illegitimate child.'

And to my foster father,
nothing but a burden.

And there was Rhea Rajguru.
Nee, Tyagi.

'Tough to spit
out, tough to swallow.'

Always stuck like a bone
in the throat.

One day, Rajguru came
looking for me.

He came to talk to you
about Rhea?

- He wanted you to bring her up?
- He didn't say as much.

Just beat me up,
like a goon.

So how did Rhea find out
she was your daughter?

A year and a half ago,
Rajguru and I got into a huge fight.

About his relationship with my aunt.

He always resented me
and I blamed my aunt for it.

That's when he threw it at my face
that he's not my father.

And he also told me who really was.

And then, I started looking for Dr. Anand.
My real father.

I applied for his special classes.

At first, I thought that she's just
another over-enthusiastic student.

And then, one day she told me.

That she's Manjiri's daughter.

And that she's my daughter.

I was terrified of losing you.

Losing you both.

'I couldn't...'

I just walked away.

She began stalking me,
threatening me.

And then, one day she just
landed up at home.

'Went totally out of control.'

I threatened to call the police.

So she, kind of, quietened down.

'She disappeared after that.'

And you couldn't handle
dad's rejection.

So you came back to seek revenge
through Juhi?

I came back to meet my sister!

I had suddenly realised that I have
a sister, a dad...

I belonged somewhere.

I wasn't alone, after all.

Next I heard of her when
you mentioned her the other day.

'That evening,
in the garden?'

I had never thought she would
come after us this doggedly.

Come after us?

Papa, she's your daughter.
She tried to meet you. Twice.

- And both the times, you...
- Don't be so... I can explain.

Like you explained to a room full
of people out there, Anand?

'Journeys are difficult,
Full of twists and turns.'

You have to constantly put
your foot on the brakes.

Well, where were your brakes, Anand?

I'm so sick and tired of your lies,
but you know what's really funny?

That you lie so beautifully...

...that one almost wants
to believe you.

You can never explain this.

You know, right now I'm wondering
whether you upset me, or disgust me.

How can you be so stone-hearted?

So untruthful. So deceptive?

- Don't say that, dear.
- Don't call me 'dear'.

I'm ashamed. I'm ashamed of you.

I can't believe I was born
to a man like you.

So, what do you want to do now?

Just because you didn't get
a family...

...you want to ruin
Juhi's family life too?

Am I really the one
destroying her family?

Did I ask you, or Anand, to cheat?

Look, Rhea...

What happened with you
was awful, and I know that.

But you can't set things right
by wronging Juhi.

Wow. So this is how it is,
when everybody loves you.

No one wants you to get hurt.

Juhi is so lucky.

I won't tell her about us.

But if she asks directly...

I won't lie either.

Rhea, please try to understand.

Juhi is pregnant.

You're amazing, man.

Rhea, please.
Try and understand.

You, more than anyone else
in the world, should know, right?

You know how important it is
for a child to grow up with both parents.

Like I said, until she asks...

...I won't tell.

But if she asks...

But she won't ask, will she?
She trusts you, after all.

There's me. The one who wants
to tell her the truth.

I'm an enemy. And you, who...

All you want, is to destroy her.

You're not trying to reach out, Rhea.

'You're only trying to get even,
face the fact.'

You simply can't bear the fact
that her life is so perfect.

And that yours is so f****d up.

- That's why you trapped me.
- I trapped you?

You sick bloody cheat.

You know what? Go. Go right now
and tell whoever you want.

Go. Tell Juhi. Go.

You're right, she trusts me.
You can do nothing, Rhea.

Because you're this one pathetic
piece of s**t that no one wants.

And what does that make you?

You were in bed with this piece
of s**t not too long ago.

Shut up! Just shut up!

I should have let you jump.
I don't know why I stopped you.

- Because you're a pervert. Why else?
- Stop this nonsense.

Just get the f**k out of here.

If you ever dare come
after Juhi and me...

I'm going to f*****g
destroy you.

Mr. 'Don't-Mess-With-Me',
time for a reality check.

What do you think will happen...

...if I tell Juhi
about that birthmark of yours?

The one I shouldn't know about
at all?

Or the fact that it takes you
a whole 30 minutes to get it up?

What do you think she'll say
if I tell her...

...that I had to do all the work?

Coz you're a lazy f**k?

Maybe then finally,
Juhi and I can bond over you.

All cry and no wool.

Get out. You're f*****g evil.

And you, are so easy.

Do you know how easy
it was to fool you?

A little flattery and
you're floored!

Tired of living in the
shadow of a more talented wife?

Has it given you an
inferiority complex?

Or have you finally understood
that she's bored of you?

- Rhea! Leave. Or...
- Or what, Neil?

You can't harm me.

Why don't you pour me
another glass to keep me happy?

Because if I tell Juhi the truth...

Do you think
she'll have your child?

If it were me,
I would have aborted.

You evil b***h!

Juhi ji.

You told us about your
suspicions on Rhea.

But you didn't tell us about her
love affair with your husband?

A few flirtatious messages,
can hardly be called an affair.

Your husband and Rhea
had sexual relations.

They were sleeping with each other
for several months.

Did Rhea tell you that?
She's lying.

- She wrote you a letter as well.
- What letter?

That girl has been lying all along.
And you choose to believe her?

Look, Rhea met my husband
only recently. At my house.

Juhi ji, let us decide what is true
and what is not.

Your husband and Rhea,
were having an affair.

'The forensic report
will prove that.'

We've sent the bed sheets from Rhea's
dorm room for testing.

In that case, until you get the proof...

Keep your rubbish theories to yourself.

Sunanda, show her the proof.

Let's see who is speaking rubbish.

Juhi ji, I suggest you hire a lawyer.

You'll need one.

My child!

Why is he here?

- I'll wait in the car.
- No.

- He is your father.
- His actions are hardly fatherly.

Look where have you landed us.
And Neil?

I should tell the police.

It wasn't Rhea but you who killed Neil.

- Juhi.
- 'You're responsible.'

'You're responsible
for all of this, and for that...'

'...I'll never forgive you.'

Tony, here. Come here.
Come here.

So, what brings you here?

I need some money.

- But I need it.
- No. I send you enough money.

- But...
- Learn to live within your means, Rhea.

Anyway, I heard
Professor Neil Adhikari was killed.

And he was related to the Tyagis.

Are you sure
you have nothing to do with that?

Why are you always
so concerned about me?

No, I'm not. It's just that
I see through you, Rhea.

You're just like your mother.
Bad news.

You know your mother jumped off
a cliff, don't you?

What are you waiting for?

Come. Come, baby.

- Here. Welcome.
- Thank you.

Shall we?

Come.

What happens next?

We need to send them a notice,
see what follows.

So, you are friends with Juhi.

We're colleagues, yes.

Any changes in her behaviour
in the last few days?

She was under a lot of pressure.

Did she ever discuss Neil
or her marriage with you?

Juhi has never been
much of a talker.

Still, did she say anything...

...to suggest that there were
problems between them?

No relationship is perfect.
Mine isn't.

I'm guessing yours isn't either.

You had this coming, brother in law.

- Vikas, please.
- Seriously, didi.

I don't know what else to say.

This is about Manjiri, isn't it?

Disgusting.

Come.

'Gloves.'

Come, ma'am.

You may leave.

- Ma'am, I will have to lock the office.
- We will let you know, when needed.

Okay.

Yes, I will.

I'll mail you those papers. Yes.

'Don't worry,
we'll figure it out.'

Hello, Juhi?

Juhi, the police are searching
your office.

What? Searching my office?

I don't know, but they've been
inside for a while now.

And they have a proper
search warrant also.

- Are they crazy? Search warrant?
- Yes. Listen...

You know that I love you,
and I really care for you, right?

'You know that, right?'

So, if there's anything
that you want to share...

Please tell me.

'I want you to be
able to deal with this better.'

'Don't battle this alone, please.'

' We will handle this, together.'

'Juhi, it's not like
I'm suspecting you. Not at all.'

'Dear Juhi ma'am,
I'm scared to write this letter to you.'

'But I do know it's important
to write it.'

'Neil sir and I. We had a brief affair.'

'I'm sorry, ma'am.
I got carried away.'

'But now I want to
end this relationship.'

'But despite my refusal,
Neil sir isn't agreeing.'

'And he wants to continue
with our affair.'

'That's why
I'm writing this letter to you.'

'Please talk to him.
Please ask him to stop.'

'I'm sorry, Ma'am.
I'm really very sorry.'

We have the forensic report.

The murder weapon has two sets
of fingerprints.

Neil's and Juhi's.

'Did you find anything
in the search?'

Sir, I've found the letter
that Rhea wrote to Juhi.

It is dated three months ago, sir.

Good.

Rhea.

Rhea, we need to talk.

I don't think so.
The investigation is ongoing.

Rhea!

Rhea, drop the act.
The truth can't stay hidden.

I'm sorry about Neil.
But what do you want me to say?

Truth. You are the only one
who knows what happened that night.

- You think I killed Neil?
- Who else could it be?

It could be you.

Enough. Out with the truth.

Truth? You want to know the truth?

I'm your sister. And I love you.

- That is my only truth.
- Love?

Do you even know what love is?
My life is ruined.

And Neil is dead.

There's still time.
Surrender to the police.

You might get a reduced sentence.

I wish I could get us both
out of this mess.

Had everyone accepted the truth in time,
there would have been no mess.

I never wanted to hurt you.

But what's done is done.

I'm sure they have evidence
against you. Just surrender.

Inspector, arrest this piece of s**t.

You are under arrest,
on suspicion of murdering Neil Adhikari.

Juhi Adhikari ji,
please come with us.
