Manifest (2018–…): Season 4, Episode 2 - Episode #4.2 - full transcript

I'm Aaron Glover. I'm a journalist.
My podcast is 828-Gate.

I don't know what holy grail

but I will not let my family be
collateral damage in her quest.

How about we stay up here

But I'm assuming you have
something to get back to?

I'm not exactly sure.

I had a Calling.
You're not safe with me. You need to run.

I am sending an angel

I figured I'd let you know.

[Zeke] I'm coming with you.

Just remember you were never here.

I know the drill.

Same thing as when I didn't install
that seismology equipment for you.

Here, look at this.

- That's something, right?
- [Cooper] It's definitely something.

Those tremors appear every time
I play the cockpit voice recorder.

But it's odd.

They played it a zillion times at Eureka
and nothing.

Well, the recording's changed.

The black box recording? Changed?

That's not possible.

And yet...

[static hums]

[Daly] Help me!

Fascinating.

- So the reading spikes every 6.2 seconds.
- 6.2 seconds.

So, what? Every time I play the recording,
I'm triggering a 6.2-second earthquake?

You're not triggering any earthquake.

If you were, all these other machines
would be registering it.

But this one's spiking.

That's because this machine
doesn't detect actual tremors

but emissions called
ultra low frequency. ULF.

Frequency as in sound waves?

Uh, sort of.

Um, electromagnetic waves
that can't be heard by the human ear.

The reason that it's relevant to me,
and therefore you,

is that ULF is emitted by earthquakes.

But earthquakes aren't causing
the frequency spike. So, what is?

[Cooper sighs]

- I wish I could go in with you, but...
- You can't.

It was my Calling anyway, which sucks
'cause I have no idea what I'm doing.

Yes, you do. You got this, okay?

When you get past that front desk...

Right, left, second door on the right.

- On the left.
- Yeah.

Henry will be inside.

Once you are in there,
you have two minutes tops.

- So find out what he knows and get out.
- Okay.

They won't know who you are
unless you leave a fingerprint.

They took them when we got off the plane
in 2018. Remember?

Yeah, so don't touch anything.

God, I feel like
I'm walking into the Death Star.

That's kinda 'cause you are.

It's gonna... it's gonna work. Trust me.

[suspenseful music playing]

[Zeke] This is the address he gave me.

[groans]

That explains why
no one answered the phone.

- We'll come back.
- I can't let this lead get cold.

If Angelina and Eden passed...

passed by here...

I was just here.

It's Anna's house.

I'm pretty sure she has a security camera.
Come on.

[Ben] Thanks, Anna.

It's about my daughter.

Someone at the laundromat
down the block thought they saw Angelina.

Oh my God. Someone saw her?

She was walking
with a little girl Eden's age.

Oh. Wow!

And I remembered your security cameras.

Can we take a look?
They might have walked by.

Oh, well, the camera's not real.

I just put it up to stop the vandalism.

I'm sorry. I... I wish I could help.

You're lying.

Anna, what's going on?

Why are you so nervous?

You're covering, but inside,
you're afraid you're gonna get caught.

No.

I was helping you.

We saved someone.

She feels regret.

I'm sorry.

- I don't wanna get in trouble.
- What did you do?

I'm so sorry. I couldn't sleep last night.
I was tossing and turning.

I was wondering whether I should call you.

I was manipulated by her. I swear it.

Angelina?
