Darling the donkey gets locked inside the barn with the dragon babies and needs to keep them happy until Jill can get them out.

Let's go down the open road
Here we go

Hanging with all the friends
That I know

On and on and on and on we go
Party down like animals

You got the love, you don't let it go

On and on until we lose control
Party down like animals

Oh, oh, animals

Today's the day, Darling.

Are you sure about this?

You do want to move out of this shed
and live in the noisy barn

with all my other animals?

I sure do, Farmer Jill.

Then let me lead the way to your cozy,
new farm bedroom.

Hey, they're coming.

Let's go say hello.

Gently now.

Welcome to your new barn home, Darling.

I brushed my tail
to give you a wavy welcome.

And I brushed my teeth
to give you a shiny hello smile.

-Ready?
-Ready.

Hello, Pickle and Al.

-Hey, Darling Donkey.
-Hi, welcome.

Hi, all you animal friends.

I'm happy to be here.

Those sweet babies.

Your new room's right next door, Darling.

So… do you like it?

I like it.

Outside for a grassy graze together,
new donkey bud?

Yes, come and join us
for a snack and chat, bud.

No. Thank you, bud.

I'd like to stay here for a nap right now.

Of course, my Darling donkey.
You need to get some quiet rest.

Look.

Aw.
It's Puffity and Huffity's nap time too.

Sweet dreams, babies!

Our babies nap for ages, Darling.
They won't wake you.

And you won't wake them,
not even with your loudest donkey snore.

Hee-haw!

See?

Ring your bell if you need me, Darling.

I'll leave the barn door open like this so
if the baby dragons call for you,

or Darling calls for me,
then we'll hear them and come back.

Sleep well, baby dragons.

Sleep peacefully, Darling.

How about I pick vegetable snacks for you,
Pickle and Al?

-I love snacks!
-Yes, Jill!

It's a windy day for picking.

Oh, dear.

Good.

You babies really do sleep
through any noise.

Now I need to close the barn door

and shut out the wind
so I can snooze in peace.

Right.

Are you ready?

Fetch it!

Well done, Tucker.

Ready, steady, fetch it!

Quackety?

My turn, Jacky.

And fetch it!

Woof, woof, woof!

Wow, Quackety.
You're more puppy than ducky.

Woof, woof, woof!

Oh, Quackety.

My tummy says good graze.

Grazing and vegetables are the best!

Back inside to our babies now.

Out of this wind!

Farmer Jill,
I thought you left that door open.

I did. Someone must have closed it.
And now I can't open it.

It's stuck.

It never gets stuck.

You're right, Al. It's not stuck.
The latch is on.

We're locked out,
so your babies are locked in.

But what if our dragon babies need us,
Jill?

Yeah, the dragons will wake up
from their nap soon,

and cry and want feeding.

Don't worry, you two. We can go
through the stable door. Come on.

Oh, yeah! Our stable door will be open.

Oh, no.

The stable door's shut too.

But it's okay.
We can knock and wake up Darling.

Yeah, he'll open it up for us!

Yeah!

Darling, are you awake?

Darling, if you can hear me,

can you come and open the door, please?

I'm coming.

He's coming. Our hero.

I can hear Darling's plod plod.

Darling, you there?

Hello? Hello?

I think Darling went
to the big barn doors.

Darling, we're at the stable door.

-Stable door!
-Come on.

Stable door.
Must be the other one.

-Darling, we're here!
-Hello!

-Hi, Darling!
-And now I'm here.

I think Darling went
to the stable door again.

-Back!
-Wait, muddy buds.

Let's stay and shout Darling's name
as loud as we can,

and then he knows where we are.

Darling!

There's no need to shout. I'm right here.

Darling, are you okay?

-Why did you lock our barn door?
-I didn't lock it.

I closed it to keep the wind out.

-But you put the latch down.
-Uh-uh, not me.

The wind rattling the door
must have dropped the latch.

Could you lift the latch now,
please, kind donkey,

to unlock the door
so we can all come back inside?

Okay.

-Jill.
-Yes?

The latch is stuck.
I can't open the door.

That old latch can be stiff.
You have to wiggle it to lift it.

And then we can open the door.

Wiggling.

Latch still won't move.

Don't worry, you two.

Could you try opening Al
and Pickle's stable door instead?

-Yeah!
-Okay.

But then I would like to go back to sleep.

Come on, you two.

Coming, babies. Before you wake up!

Now you two sleepy babies are waking up.

Already.

Al, Pickle, your dragons are awake.

Is that my Huffity and Puffity?

Papa's here, babies.

-Coming inside now, little ones!
-Oh, no.

-I can't open this door either.
-What?

My nose won't work this latch.
It's locked.

-Locked?
-Pickle, we're locked out here.

We must get inside to our babies, Jill!

It's okay, you caring parents.
We'll find a way in somehow. Promise.

We'll be inside soon, babies!

-Take care of them, Darling.
-I will.

That's a loud noise.
I can make a loud noise too.

Hee-haw!

You like that?

Hee-haw!

Hee-haw!

Hee-haw!

W-what's going on?

Watch my ears now, sweet babies.

Left ear.

And now, the right ear.

He's playing a game with them.

Our dragons like your game, Darling.

Hee-haw!

Hee-haw!

Yep, they're a playful pair.

Just one question.
How long will the babies play?

Sometimes not long.

But other times, well, ages.

What?

They just keep playing and playing
and playing and playing and playing.

Hurry up and get inside, please.

We'll find a way in, Darling.

Poor Darling can't keep going
on much longer. We have to get inside.

We don't want your babies
to start crying again.

Let's all think.

Hatch, we're trying to think.

And you are no help,
being so high up there.

I've got it. I'll be right back!

Oh, my.

Sorry, no more, sweeties.

I'm too tired to hee-haw anymore.

No, no, no, no, no.

There, there.

There, there.

The dragons are crying again, Jill.

I see your problem, Farmer Jill.
Okay, what's your plan?

If someone can reach that hatch
and fit through,

they could unlock the door
from the inside for us.

You mean someone who used
to live in the barn

and knows all the hatches and latches.

-Who?
-Who knows that?

Pup-duck preparing for takeoff.

When I lived in this barn,
I lifted that old latch a hundred times.

The trick is to waggle it side to side.

Thanks, Quackety.

Don't worry, Darling.
A rescue duck will be with you in a quack.

Tell the duck to please hurry, Jill.

Engaging wing thrust.

You can do it.

Power up.

Whew! Crash-landing.

Can't you fly, Quackety?

Of course she can. She's a duck.
All ducks can fly.

I'm a pup-duck.
And-- Jacky's right.

I can't fly anymore.

My wings have forgotten
how to flap properly.

I'm s-sorry,
Farmer Jill.

It's okay, Quackety. Thanks for trying.

It's okay, babies.

I think our babies are going
to do their loudest cry very soon.

That's it.

There has to be another way in.

There is a way. But you and the rest
of your barn buddies won't like it.

Mum, you can't break down the door!

Our lovely little barn's been part
of our Lovely Little Farm

from the very start.

I'm sorry.

If Quackety can't fly in, making a hole
in the door is the only way I know

to get to those crying dragons.

Stop!

I have a new idea.

Well, Tucker does.

Look.

We can't fly up to the hatch,

but maybe we can dig down
and go under into our barn.

Yep,
my Tucker's the best at doggy digging.

Everyone, let's help.

Okay.

We're getting deeper.

We need a hole that reaches
right under our barn wall.

I think I can squeeze through that hole.

Be careful, Jill. Don't get stuck.

I won't.

Be careful.

Go nice and slowly.

I am.

Jill, are you inside yet?

Yep.
I'm a bit dirty, but I'm inside.

Jill, can you lift the latch?

I'll try.

Try and waggle it from side to side, Jill,
just like Quackety Duck Duck said.

Okay.

Yes!

Hey.

Puffity, Huffity.

Huffity! P-Puffity! Huffity, Puffity.

Puffity.

-Huffity.
-Hi.

Thanks for helping, Darling,
with the dragons.

You've been a really good
barn buddy to them.

Next time there's a windy day,
we'll have to remember,

the barn's got a silly latch
that can jiggle down and lock us out.

-Fixing the silly latch now.
-Yeah.

-You won't be locked out again.
-Thanks, Mum.

Sounds like you've had a busy, noisy,

stuck-indoorsy moving-in day, Darling, eh?

I hope you still want to live in here,
sweet donkey.

The dragons have made me very tired.

And also very happy.

I think I'm gonna like living here
with all my muddy buds, Farmer Jill,

very much.

Darling.

Mummy, Jill, I think Tucker's hurt.

What is it, Tucker? Show us.

I see the problem.

Poor Tucker has a stone stuck in his foot.

He must have got it
when he did all that digging.

-Is he going to be okay, Mum?
-He'll be fine once the stone's removed.

But we should get the vet to do it,
just to be sure.

Tucker.

We're gonna make sure you're nice
and better soon.

Poor Tucker.

I'm sure he'll be fine.

Thanks for making me feel so welcome,
buds.

But, I need a little bit
of rest right now, please.
