Las Vegas (2003–2008): Season 2, Episode 24 - Centennial - full transcript

Board key member Casey Manning offers manager Ed Deline a seat on the board of the Montecito after the take-over if he wins the buy-out from three competitors, to take part in a general make-over in light of the progressing Las Vegas competition, but warns his ex Sam that she'll have to become better to remain the 'new' Montecito's host; by his reputation most staff and even the building may be done away with; she offers him anything if he blows the deal off... Ed is told by an inept police detective that Nessa Holt's disappeared father Jackson sired a second daughter, Adanna from another family, who is in a London hospital, and insists to accompany her, but assures her dad must be dead, yet Ed knows there is more... Danny and Mike investigate a conspicuously behaving couple consisting of fake identity Mark George and Susan Welch, who was reported died in a car accident 16 months ago; they refuse a free luxury suite upgrade, carry a stolen gun but have a surprising explanation. Danny gets terrible news..

We were really nothing more
than a watering hole...

on the way to Los Angeles.

But on May 15, 1905...

a land auction established
Las Vegas as a city.

Then Bugsy Siegel
had a vision.

Cost Bugsy his life,
but what a vision.

By the time
Frank and Dean arrived...

Vegas was world famous.

I've seen a lot of changes
since Las Vegas became a city.

Yes, I was 10 years old when
Las Vegas became a city...

and I've seen it all.

At least I thought I had.

If anybody deserves a key to
the city, it's you, my friend.

I'll second that.

I never helped
give away cars before.

All you have to do is help
Mayor Goodman draw numbers.

We'll take care
of everything else.

Mayor Goodman...

now, I can tell you
some stories about him.

One time, he...

Hello?

He's good.

He's taking a nap?
He's exhausted.

So, Mary, tonight's the night?

Where's Jake taking you?
Hawaii.

For how long?
Two weeks.

And where are you staying?

His family has a little
place on the beach.

A little place on the beach? It's
a compound on a beach they own.

And correct me if I'm wrong, aren't
you traveling via private jet?

Yeah.

You're going to marry him.

Oh, sorry.
No. Have fun.

I will.

So, I hear that you and Bon
Jovi are real practical jokers.

You can't believe
everything you hear.

No, that's true. Listen, if
there's anything you need...

say, maybe a line of credit,
please don't hesitate to ask.

Thank you. We're here on
business. Owners meetings.

So, has anybody heard anything new
about the sale of the Montecito?

Only that it's supposed
to happen by midnight tonight.

She reminds me
of my late third wife.

Oh, that's John Elway.

I'm going to get
an autograph.

I've been a fan since
I was a kid. Excuse me.

Damn, I forgot to
bring my football. Damn.

Boys will be boys.

Mr. Elway, I was wondering if maybe
you could sign my football for me?

Sure.
Danny, could you not...

You just go ahead and
make it out to Danny McCoy.

Put "Michael"
on there, too.

Very funny, pork chop.

Did you see that? The man's
still got a cannon for an arm.

That was my football.

Did you see that?

Hey, way to go, man.

Hi, Jon.

Hi, Delinda.

So, how's the
Arena Baseball thingy going?

It's football. Arena Football.

I'm not really
into sports anyway.

You told me
you were a cheerleader.

No, Jon, I said
I could be a cheerleader...

if you know what I mean.

There you are!

Hey, Auntie Gladys.

How's my Mikey?
I am good.

How are you?
I'm doing great.

Good. Danny,
this is my Auntie Gladys.

Pleased to meet you,
Auntie Gladys.

It's my pleasure
to meet you.

My father is a huge fan. I
mean, not that I'm not. I am.

It's just that my mom and dad danced to
one of your songs at their wedding, so...

Let me guess, "You're The Best
Thing That Ever Happened To Me"?

That was kind of their song. Yeah. Yeah.

Make sure you bring your folks
tonight, and I'll sing it for them.

It's just my dad now,
but he'll be there.

Oh, I'm sorry.
No, it's...

Bring him back stage
and introduce him, okay?

I will. Thank you.
All right.

Now, Mikey.
Yes, ma'am.

I need for you
to back me up tonight.

I won't take no
for an answer.

Now, Auntie...
Don't talk to me.

'Cause I...
Don't talk to me.

How could you not tell me that
your aunt was Gladys Knight?

You never asked.

If my bid for the Montecito
is successful,

which we're gonna know
by midnight...

I'd like you to stay on, Ed,
but in a different capacity.

What do you mean,
in a different capacity?

Well, I'd like to give you a
little added responsibility...

a seat on the board of
directors, if you don't mind.

I think I can handle that. I
don't think I'll mind, Casey.

I was thinking about making
a few changes in the casino.

Really? What kind of changes?

A complete face-lift.

Danny McCoy. Dad. Hey, we
were just talking about you.

Yeah, I'm sorry about
last week. I got hung up.

Yeah.

I know. It's been more
than a few weeks.

But we'll catch up
tonight, okay?

Hey, Dad, I got to run.
I'll see you tonight.

And there's somebody
that I want you to meet.

Yes, it's a woman.
All right, I'll see you later.

We gotta keep up with the
other casinos in town, Ed.

Green Valley Ranch just opened
a whole new wing, VIP pool, spa.

Caesar's has a new tower.

The Palms is building a new tower
with a Playboy mansion up on top.

Now, my plans are for
a head-to-toe refurbishment...

and then a grand re-opening
of the all-new Montecito.

I'm sorry, Casey. Excuse
me for a second? Yeah, sure.

Hey. We need to talk.
Yeah, we do.

Even though you're
still my wife, Sam...

if you plan on staying with the
Montecito after I buy the place...

you'll have to step it
up a notch. Excuse me?

There are other casino hosts in town
who bring in a lot bigger clients...

who gamble a lot more money, and
I need the best, and only the best.

Yeah, I am the best.
Actually, you're not.

What the hell
are you doing here?

Does the Agency got another
murder case they can't quite solve?

It's about your daughter, Ed.

Jackson Holt
had another child, a daughter.

That's impossible. I mean,
Nessa was his only kid.

Well, apparently not. There was
some kind of accident in London.

The facts are still sketchy...

but Nessa's sister was rushed
to the hospital.

She was unconscious.

The other person at the scene,
a male, was dead.

Police had no idea who either of them
were. They ran DNA checks on both.

They got one hit, Adanna Holt,
Jackson's daughter.

Nessa's younger sister.

When Adanna woke up,
she asked for Nessa.

As you can imagine, it set off red flags
all throughout the intelligence community.

I worked with Jack
for over 10 years.

I would have known
if he had another daughter.

Ed, he didn't just have
another daughter.

He had a whole other family.
Two completely different lives.

How does that happen without
any of us knowing about it?

Never trust a con man.
And Jackson Holt was the best.

Yeah.

And, why did you come to me
with this information?

Let's just call it
a courtesy call.

We figured you should know, considering
you raised Jackson's other daughter.

Right. All right.

Of course, what you decide
to do with the information...

is your business.

Hey, Jerry, it's Deline.
Listen, do me a favor.

Get a hold of some
of the boys in London...

run down all you can
on a "Adanna Holt. "

She's in a hospital.
And get right back to me.

Excuse me.

No cell phones or video
equipment allowed at the tables.

Sorry.

I thought this was a
non-smoking table. It is.

It sure smells
like something's burning.

Are you all right?

What?

So you're cool with Mary
going to Hawaii with Jake?

Yeah, why not? Family
compound on the beach.

Private jet. $350 million.

You got a point?
Not really.

I didn't think so. Just
gauging your truthfulness.

Mary and I are friends, Mike, just
like we've always been, that's all.

Well, the man's good looking,
worth $350 million.

You are really hung up on
this $350 million, aren't you?

Maybe you should date him.

All I'm saying is that you never
know if the ladies want you for you...

or because of your money.

That's something you're never
gonna have to worry about...

because you don't have
$350 million.

That's a good point.

Check this guy out.

What about him?

Well, he's watching this woman
he's with like a hawk.

So?

So, he never lets her
out of his sight.

Not even to go
to the bathroom.

Maybe that's how
they get their freak on.

It's almost like this guy
knows he's being watched.

He keeps glancing up at the camera,
and never steps into a blind spot.

You think they're
a diversion for something?

Maybe.

They guests?
Yeah...

but they checked in without
luggage and no reservation.

They're probably just
stepping out on their spouses.

I thought about that,
but if they were,

wouldn't they try
to avoid the cameras...

not stand
directly beneath them?

Not if they need an alibi
for something else.

You can't be
a suspect elsewhere

if you're on tape
at the Montecito.

It's a perfect alibi.

Run a complete check
on both of them.

Hey, you wanted
to see me?

Yeah, I did, honey.

Wait, come on.
Let's sit over here.

If this is about the buyout, my
people are starting to get nervous.

Everyone's wondering if they're
still going to have a job.

Right.

What's going on?

What's going on is that
I just got some information.

It seems that
you have a sister.

What?
Yeah. Her name is Adanna.

She's in London,
in a hospital. She's okay...

and she was asking for you.

No. I think I'd know
if I had a sister.

Well, they took some DNA, and
it matched up with your dad's.

Why are they matching DNA with my
father if he's supposed to be dead?

His DNA is in
a central computer file...

with all the rest of the guys
in the Company.

Well, I want to see her,
my sister.

Well, I figured you might...

but then there's something
else I have to tell you as well.

What?

Apparently, your dad
had two separate families...

two completely
different lives.

I can understand not telling
me when my mother was alive...

but after she died?

Why didn't he tell me
that I had other family?

Look, I'm very sure...

that your father
had good reasons.

Well, what were they?

Hey, John. Hi.
Hey.

Here's the Nasty Hot that
you asked for. Thank you.

Have you seen
my little buddy?

Bon Jovi.
That's him.

Photo shoot.

Jon, this way.

Here. This way.

Give me a hot foot,
I'll give you a hot...

Hi.

Howard Hughes:
Now that man had a vision.

You know, they tried to kick him out
of the penthouse at the Desert Inn...

because he wasn't gambling...

so he bought the place.

Mary.

Oh, Casey. Hey, come here.

Casey, this is Smitty. He's
Las Vegas' oldest living native.

Mayor Goodman's giving him
the keys to the city.

How you doing there,
Smitty?

I'm a 110 years old, how the
hell do you think I'm doing?

Good point. Mary, can I
speak to you for a second?

Yeah, of course.

I wanted to let you know that I'm
having a meeting of all key personnel...

to discuss their jobs
and their performances.

Oh, yeah?
Any thoughts on my job yet?

Actually, I don't think
your job's necessary.

I got nothing
on either of them.

They couldn't have checked in
without a credit card.

The credit card belongs to a Mark
George. He's from New York City.

So run a check on him.

I did.
There is no Mark George.

Then turn it over to Metro. It's
obviously a fake credit card.

It's not fake.
Stolen?

Active and paid in full,
on time, every month.

If there's no Mark George,
who's paying the bill?

You know what?
Call the credit department.

Have them run a complete
credit check on Mark George.

See if we can find out
who pays the bill.

What exactly do you do here?

I delegate. And run the girl
through Missing Persons.

See if we can get
a hit on her.

Nessa just missed a dealer
change and a new deck shuffle.

You better call Ed.

Come on, Nessa,
take a break.

Ed, I'm going to London
to see my sister,

and find out about
the rest of my family.

If you could just
wait a little while.

They might have information about
my father. Maybe they've seen him.

Maybe they know why or how
he disappeared.

Stop, Nessa.

What's the deal
with the buyout?

In a minute, Mary.

Because Casey told me
that my job is unnecessary.

What aren't you telling
me, Ed? Nothing, honey.

I'm telling you everything
that I know.

Ed, am I losing my job?

You knew about my sister and the
other family all along, didn't you?

No, I did not.
Absolutely not.

We'll talk later.

Why did you even take me in,
in the first place?

We loved you.
No. It was guilt, wasn't it?

No.

Yeah?

Ed, you better
get up here, now!

Because you felt guilty about
my father's disappearance.

You were responsible for what
happened to him, weren't you?

Her name's Susan Welch.

She was killed in a traffic
accident 16 months ago.

I'd say she looks pretty good
for a corpse.

How do you
know that's her?

According to police reports, newspaper
clippings, death certificate, it's her.

Where'd you get this footage?
It was posted on the Internet.

Yeah, but like
a film festival?

There's all kinds of graphic
sites on the Internet.

Man.

You said you'd be back in
a minute! Honey, I'm sorry.

What aren't you telling me about
my sister? Could you answer me?

Yes, I will. Come on.

Nessa has a sister?

Gladys Knight is your auntie?
What else don't I know?

I didn't know
she had a sister.

Find out what you can
about Susan Welch.

Where she lived. Who she
worked for. Family members.

Where are you going?

Down, to upgrade
the lucky couple to a suite.

Maybe I can get
something out of them.

Sam. Hey, excuse me.

Casey just told me that
after he buys the Montecito...

I won't have a job. Yeah,
I doubt any of us will.

Are you serious?
When Casey buys something...

he takes it apart
piece by piece,

then puts it
back together again...

but never
with the same pieces.

Hello!

Hi, I'm Danny McCoy,
with the Montecito.

And you are?
I'm Mark George.

In honor of our
centennial celebration,

the Montecito randomly
picks out guests...

to be upgraded
to one of our suites...

and congratulations, you
two are today's lucky couple.

So, if you'll just follow me
over to the VIP check-in...

Thanks, but we're fine
where we are.

Aren't we, honey?
Absolutely.

There's no charge to you. It's on
the Montecito. Cost you nothing.

Thanks, but no thanks.
Let's go.

Hey.

What do you know
about the Montecito buyout?

There are four possible
buyers: Casey Manning...

Fred Puterbaugh with the
Maloofs, and Donald Trump...

who wants to fire everyone.
Yeah. Apparently so does Casey.

Yeah. I'll take care of Casey.
Who's the fourth?

A mystery man who thinks
he's Howard Hughes.

Sealed bids are due
by midnight tonight.

Did you know that Gladys
Knight is Mike's auntie,

and Nessa's
got a sister?

I got to go.

Nessa has a sister?
Yeah.

Listen, whoever
buys this place,

they can't run it
without Ed, right?

Right.

And Ed needs us, right?
Right.

So our jobs are safe, right?

No, I'm leaving.
Listen, Nessa.

I don't think you want me to make
a scene in the middle of the casino.

Let's just go somewhere
where we can talk.

You call it talk, I call
it avoiding my questions.

I need to talk to you about
Casey and the buyout. Sorry.

I'm in the middle
of something.

You don't know him the way I
do. He'll get rid of everyone.

Not now, Sam.

Sorry.

Just let me get through
this buyout.

Midnight tonight.
Latest, tomorrow morning.

And then you and I
will go to London.

I don't need you to come
with me. I know you don't...

but I really want
to go with you, okay?

Okay.
Okay.

You know,
I'm just not feeling this

whole Arena Bowl
Weekend thing, Johnny.

There's gonna be
an awards ceremony.

Yeah, not working for me.

Arena Battle?

An Arena Bash Concert?

Will you be playing?
No.

Hey, is it getting
a little hot in here?

Maybe it's just me.

I don't think so.

Elway didn't happen to be hanging
around during my photo session, was he?

Yeah, he was asking me
which dressing room was yours.

Said something about...
nasty hot pants.

"Nasty Hot"?
Well, yeah.

I thought it was some kind of
new football uniform. Johnny!

That little...

So you've had your fun. I think
it's time for you to leave.

Actually, Sam, I've just
begun to have my fun.

Really?
What are you gonna do...

blow up the Montecito
just to spite me?

Las Vegas is the only city in the
world that reinvents itself every day.

Oh, my God.

You're going to blow
this place up, aren't you?

Only part of it.

Det. Jenny Cho
just phoned for you.

She told me to tell you she
has to work late tonight...

but wondered if maybe you'd
like to stop by her place...

for a little
midnight booty call.

She said that? No, I'm just
reading between the lines.

Danny, talk to me. Has she
used her handcuffs on you?

Actually, this girl...

The other night,
I'm at her house...

and I take her handcuffs
and I...

So what did you get
on Susan Welch? What?

It ain't fair to leave
a man hanging like that,

so I'm just gonna
use my imagination.

Oh, yeah.

Detective. Oh, ah.

Are you done? Almost.
Wow. Ouch. What did you...

What did you get on
Susan Welch? Nothing.

The woman lived a boring life.

I guess she was just probably
bored and decided to disappear.

That's quite an elaborate plan
to fight boredom, Mikey.

Or maybe it's some kind
of life insurance scam.

She didn't have life
insurance. I already checked.

You did some work.

Hey, you think this buyout
thing is gonna go through?

With four possible buyers
and a midnight deadline...

I'd say there's
a pretty good chance.

You worried?
About a job? No.

No. I guess I always figured
my dad would die happy...

if I went back to work
at McCoy Construction, so...

I wasn't thinking so much
about you, as me.

No, of course not. You were always
better at parking cars anyway.

I think I'm pretty great at this
surveillance and security stuff.

I think I've got a better
knack for it than you.

Can't go back to being a
valet, not exciting enough.

Whoa, freeze.

Go back two seconds.

What is that flash?

Could be a light wand.
Push in.

What is that?

Overhead lights
are reflecting off something.

Watch this.

I tone down the flash, outline
the object, go to thermal.

He's got a gun.

This is not good.

What did your contacts
in London say?

You sure?

All right, thanks, man.
I owe you, okay? Thanks.

It's Deline. Listen,
I got some information.

Oh, you do, too.
Wait, not on the phone, okay?

Come to my office.
It's secure. Right?

So, you gave up
on Bon Jovi, huh?

He's more interested
in John Elway.

You do realize he's a
happily married man? I know.

I was just hoping
he'd write a song about me.

You know, like Layla and Angie
and Michelle.

"Delinda. "

Do you really
have a genius IQ?

It is truly frightening.

Well, it's not like I work with
nuclear weapons or anything.

Although I do
like to blow things up.

Ladies and gentlemen, we're just
moments away from the first car giveaway:

A brand-new Toyota Avalon!

He started it.
He started it.

Yeah, well, I can't believe how
childish the two of you are acting.

Oh, really?

I'm sorry! What is it with grown
men behaving like little kids?

Speaking of which...

That's a nice look, Sam.
Casey, please don't do this.

Business is business, Sam. And
you of all people should know that.

And the winning number for
the first Toyota Avalon is...

No more bets, please.

The second car will be
given away very soon.

My good friend, Gladys Knight, will
be taking the stage at any moment.

I know that you're all very nervous
about this impending buyout...

and that there are tons
of rumors flying around.

Is it true that they're going
to implode the Montecito?

Implode the Montecito?
That's what I heard.

Yeah, me, too. Right, Sam?
Is that true, Sam?

Did you talk to Casey?

Listen, whoever
buys the Montecito...

has the right to do with it
as they choose.

If that's still the name. I
heard they want to change it.

Ed, should we be
looking for new jobs?

The minute I hear anything, I'll
inform every one of you. Okay?

But right now we have guests
that need attending to...

and we have a party that
needs your attention. Okay?

Ed, I've got Mark George and Susan
Welch in Holding Rooms 1 and 2.

Sweat them for a little while.
See what you can get out of them.

I was with your father
the night that he disappeared.

There was this exchange...

of intelligence material.

It was all a big con...

'cause what I was giving them
had much less value...

than what I was getting
in return.

I don't understand.

Well, Jack,
he was the go-between.

He just made
a real horrible mistake...

getting in the car
for the exchange that night.

That was the last anyone
ever saw of him.

Why do think he's dead if he was
alive the last time you saw him?

There is no way on earth that
those people in that car...

would let him live
knowing what he was doing...

and what he had done.

Well.

You've lied to me
about my father before.

How do I know
you're not lying now?

Honey, I was just trying
to protect you.

Protect me from what?

The truth.
Which is?

Which is...

that your father worked
for whoever paid him.

What are you saying?

He sold out a lot of agents.

And he was personally
responsible for their deaths.

Many of theirs. Many of ours.

I'm sorry.

I'm asking you not to do this
to the Montecito.

These people are my friends.

Okay, you win.

I'll do anything
if you call off the buyout.

Anything?
Anything.

Hello, Mrs. Casey Manning.

Damn, I'm late.

Mitch, let Danny know
the weapon was stolen.

And tell him
that Metro called.

They need to speak
to him ASAP.

Said it was personal.

Mark George doesn't exist...

so why don't you tell me
who you really are?

Why would you fake
your own death, Susan?

Who are you running from?

I want to talk to Jim.

She rolled over on you, Jim.

Tell me who you really are.

I'm a U.S. Marshal
assigned to protect her.

Susan is a federal witness.
Her cover was blown.

So, you guys are on the run?
Yeah.

With all your surveillance,
I knew we'd be safe here.

No one would try anything
with all these cameras.

The guy's name is Jim Mack. He
claims to be a U.S. Marshal...

and the woman
is a federal witness.

You want me to go after her?

No. She'll calm down.
She always does.

Ladies and gentlemen,

the Montecito Resort
and Casino...

is proud to present for the Las
Vegas Centennial Celebration...

Miss Gladys Knight!

Thank you! Hello, and welcome!

Hello, and welcome!

We came to celebrate tonight,
three "L's":

Life, love, and Las Vegas.

Happy birthday, Las Vegas.

Thanks so much.

All right.

Elway!

Why are you so nervous?

I haven't really been out
of Vegas much, you know?

Been to L.A. A few times,
but two weeks in Hawaii?

I'm just a little...

Please don't tell me the only guy
you've ever been with is Danny.

Yeah.

Sort of. Almost.
Hey, Ness.

Was she crying?
It looked like it.

Wonder if it was
about her sister?

Her sister? What sister?

Ed...

Oh, yeah.

You got one breath.
Start using it.

Nessa's sister was set up
to flush out Jackson Holt.

Jack's alive?
Ed, I just found out.

They were trying
to kidnap Adanna.

You knew he was alive
all this time, didn't you?

Ed, I'm just the messenger.

Fifteen years.
My family's in jeopardy...

I never knew!
... for 15 years!

I swear on my kids
I'm gonna kill you right now.

No!

What, you think of all
the people in the world...

Ed, I'd come here
and lie to you?

Who's behind it? Them or us?
I don't know. I swear!

All I know
is that Nessa's in danger...

and they're coming after her.

Of life's ups and downs

But fate's been kind

That it's all
because of you

If anyone

should ever write

Ms. Connell, Jake got hung up.
He'll meet you at the plane.

Okay.
Whenever you're ready.

Thank you.

Hey, Greg, have you seen
Danny? Not for a while.

Thanks.

Ooh, you'll be there

between each line
of pain and glory

I'm ready.

You're the best thing
that ever happened to me

You're the best thing

Hey, Danny. I have Det.
Jenny Cho on the line.

She says it's important.

Tell her I'll call her back.
Hey, Danny.

Video IQ Nessa for me,
will you? What's going on?

Just put it in my office.
Roger that.

Hey, it's Deline.

Hey, listen, I got
a couple claiming to be...

a federal witness
and a U.S. Marshal.

Jim Mack, Susan Welch.

I wanna know who the hell
they are, and I wanna know now.

Yes, I will hang on.
Ed.

I'm on the phone, honey. I can't
be here if Casey owns the Montecito.

Just one... No, I need
to tell you right now...

that I can't be here
if Casey owns the Montecito.

I tried to make a deal
but I couldn't...

so I'm gonna have to quit.

What?

I quit.
Why?

Because you're the closest thing
to a father I've ever had...

and Montecito is the closest
thing to a family I've ever had.

And I love you.

And I love everybody here.

And, apparently, I'm not
very good at goodbyes...

so will you tell everyone
I said goodbye?

Sam, honey...

Sam.
Ed.

I can't find Nessa
anywhere on the property.

Just...

Just call her on her cell,
will you?

Yeah. I just heard a bid was
accepted. The Montecito's been sold.

But there's no word
on who bought it.

Just please call her
on her cell.

Yeah, hey, thanks.

Their stories check out okay?
They're safe.

Listen, just send a couple of guys down
and ask for Danny McCoy, will you? Thanks.

Hey, Nessa, it's Danny.
Hold for Ed.

Hey, sweetie, where are you?

I'll be back in a minute.
I'm just getting some air.

Okay.

Check every flight to London.
Find out which one she's on.

And then, when you get it,
just call me right away, okay?

What about the Marshall
and witness?

There's a couple guys
coming down.

I told them to ask for you.

I love these guys.

Especially this one
right here.

This one has a very special
place in my heart, see...

because he is my nephew...

and also, Montecito's own.
Mike Cannon, right here.

Yeah, see, I've been trying to get him
to go out on the road with me, you know?

Maybe with a little encouragement from
you he may think about it. You know?

Mikey!

Well.

It'll be my pleasure.

Come on. Do it, guys.

Now, this is a song
I wanna do for you.

I have loved doing this song
with these guys since 1973.

Work it, guys.

L.A.

Proved too much
for the man

Too much for the man

he couldn't make it

So he's leavin' the life

he's come to know

Ed, Nessa's on flight 318.

And Delinda's
on the plane with her.

I can't wait to go to
King's Road. Me, too.

On that midnight train
to Georgia

Leaving on
that midnight train

Wow! You ready?

Yeah.

'Cause you look a little
nervous. That's because I am.

You'll love it.

In fact, you're never going
to want to come back.

Promise?
Yeah. I promise.

So he pawned all his hopes

Ooh, ooh, ooh

And he even sold
his old car

Ooh, ooh, ooh

Bought
a one-way ticket back

Than live
without him in mine

World

Hey, Greg,
have you seen my dad anywhere?

No, but I'll tell him you're
looking for him if I do.

Okay, thanks.
Mary's looking for you.

Thank you.

Superstar, but he
didn't get far

Whoa.

What are you doing? What's
it look like I'm doing?

I'm stuck to the machine.

I did not steal those towels.

I have no idea how that
Montecito property got in my car.

Bon Jovi!

The second
winning number is...

Danny!

Hey! I thought that
you had to work late.

You didn't answer my calls. We've
been trying to get a hold of you.

I know. I'm sorry.
I've just been so busy here.

But I'm glad you're here.
I want you to meet my dad.

I know he's
around here somewhere. What?

Your father
was in an accident.

What?

How is he?
Which hospital is he in?

He's dead, Danny.
I'm so sorry.

Leaving on that
midnight train to Georgia

I'd rather live
in his world

Than live
without him in mine
