[Izzy] Come on, Pumpkin!
Why don't you go over to your leaf?
There you go.
I think they're very happy eating.
Chompy, excuse me!
Come join the rest of the group!
Teddy, where are you gonna go now, though?
[chuckles]
[Ali] When they first come in,
it does take them a little while
to get used to being in care with us.
[Izzy] You've got a little koala, Teddy,
you can cuddle onto.
Whee!
Can you sit next to me?
Having Izzy there,
I think it helps with the loneliness
when they've lost their mums.
[Izzy] I know! Come on!
[Ali] There's somebody nice and warm
to cuddle up to.
So, the fact that these babies have
all had Super Izzy Koala Whisperer
to calm them makes life a lot easier.
[Izzy] Chompy, leaf!
[Izzy laughs]
Guess what time it is?
[Ali] I think it's time to put them back
to bed 'cause I've got to go to work.
[Izzy] Have a good day at work.
[birds chirping]
[dog barks]
-[Izzy] Loki!
-[Tim] Loki!
[Izzy] Come here!
Oh!
-[Tim chuckles]
-He's swallowing my face.
-[Tim] Good boy!
-[car horn honks]
Someone's here, Iz.
Hello!
-You got a koala for us?
-[woman] I do.
[Izzy] Oh no!
So, what happened?
He was found to be quite low in a tree.
Um... He doesn't look like
what they thought he should look.
They felt that he was a little smaller,
but he's got this blue mark on his bum.
That's the animal dye that we use.
It's Henry!
That's definitely Henry.
[Tim] Henry, you're back again.
[Izzy] When Henry came in,
he was just an orphan
found without his mum.
Henry was tiny
and all sweet, but cheeky.
He was here for about a year or so.
And then, when he was big enough,
we released him.
[Tim] How about
we get him in where it's cool?
[Izzy] All right.
[Tim grunting] Come on, you poor thing.
[Izzy] Hey, Henry.
It's Izzy.
He looks a bit skinny.
[Tim] Yeah, he does, doesn't he?
[Izzy] It's not really good
that he came back,
but it's good to see him again.
You remember me?
I guess not. That's quite weird.
He looks normal,
but underneath all that fluffy fur,
I can really feel his bones sticking out,
which means he's way too skinny right now.
You can tell in his face too.
Look, see his face?
[Izzy] Mm.
[Tim] Well, here we go. Look at this.
[Izzy] Henry, look at that!
It's a nice, juicy leaf for you!
Why do you think
he isn't eating leaf?
[Tim] I don't know.
[Izzy] It's not like you,
not eating leaf, Henry.
-[Tim] Do you want to see if he's thirsty?
-[Izzy] Mm-hmm.
[Tim] Let's see if he'll take some water.
Henry!
This is crazy.
-He's super thirsty.
-[Tim] Yeah.
I've never seen
a koala drink like this before.
It means that he hasn't had enough water.
In the wild, koalas like Henry get most
of their water from the leaves they eat.
But because it's been
so hot and dry here,
the leaves have less water in them.
And that's bad for wild koalas like Henry.
I'm worried about him.
I really hope Mum gets home soon
so she can check on him.
[Ali] How is Henry?
[Izzy] He's still not eating leaf,
and he doesn't recognize me.
Hey, Henry!
Oh, baby!
Aw, you don't look very bright, do you?
[Izzy] Have we ever had a koala
come back into care?
[Ali] No, we haven't.
Henry's the first one.
-You can feel his skeleton.
-[Izzy] Mmm.
[Ali] I'm very worried about him, yeah.
Just the fact that he's come back
into care looking like this.
Has he shown any interest in leaf at all?
[Tim] No.
[Izzy] Mum, should we try
and give Henry some milk?
[Ali] I think we should.
If I can get him to take milk,
that'll put some more weight back on him.
If he will take it,
it's only going to help build him up.
Now, don't be too disappointed
if he won't take it straight away.
[Izzy] I'm about to give you
ome milk, Henry,
just like when you were a baby.
You remember me?
You were here last year.
Are you coming down?
Hi, Henry!
Hi!
-[Tim] He recognizes you, Iz.
-[Izzy] Yeah.
Here...
Hey.
Come on.
It's really good for you.
[Ali] Oh, Henry.
-Good boy, Henry.
-[Ali] Oh, so good.
Oh, baby.
[Izzy] He is one hungry koala.
[whispers] You're covered in milk!
Are you wiping your mouth?
Yeah, because you're such a messy eater.
We'll practice
table manners tomorrow. [laughs]
It's coming to ya.
I'm very relieved to see
that he's taking the milk,
but he's still not eating leaf.
And that's telling me that there could be
something else very serious
going on with Henry.
So, we need to take
a little blood sample.
Keep feeding him. Okay?
Oh, Henry.
Such a model patient, lovely.
[Izzy chuckles] He doesn't notice one bit.
Beautiful. Thank you.
Good boy, Henry.
I'm just going to send
these bloods off to the lab
to try and make sure
nothing's going wrong on the inside,
and if there is, then it will guide us
on how to treat him.
Henry really, really needs to eat leaf.
If he doesn't eat the leaf,
then we've got really big problems.
I think we should leave him
to rest the night.
[Tim] That's a good idea.

[Ali] Hey, Iz. How's he doing?
[Izzy] He still isn't eating his leaf,
and I can tell he's stressed
because it's hard for him to settle down.
Poor little man...
So, the blood tests that we took from him
have all come back clear.
[Izzy] That's really good!
But he's still pretty skinny.
Yeah, he should be eating leaf.
Yeah, stress for wildlife
can be really, really dangerous.
Stress could be the cause
of him not wanting to eat leaf.
Mm-hmm.
So, what do you think we could do,
