Muffin! Cinderella!

Hi, Cinderella. Hi, Muffin.
I hope you slept well.

StormBoy!

StormBoy, what are you doing?

Princess Leia.

Hi, Leia!

Hello.

-[pop]
-Oh!

Guess what, Princess Leia?
Juliet's getting released.

"Release" means put back into the wild

to their old home where they can see
all their friends and family.

[pop]

And as soon as you've gained
a few pounds, that'll be you.

That's where you'll be one day, Leia.

Out in the wild.

Aww!

It'll be hard for me, too.

Good morning, Juliet.

Hey, Juliet. Hey.

[sniffing]

Juliet's saying hi to me at the moment.

[chuckles] I think she loves my hair.

The second day that she came in,
she just started eating my hair.

Maybe she feels safe with me.

Your eyes are looking much better, Juliet.

Juliet came in about a month ago.

She ran into some green ants,

and they really hurt her eyes.

She got some really bad scratches on them,

and we had to give her some treatment
for her eyes.

Now that her eye's better,

it means that she's ready to be released
back into the wild.

I know it's scary
finally leaving the koala hospital,

but you don't have to be scared, Juliet.

There's a lot of leaf and lots of trees.

You're going back to your real home
out in the wild.

[door opens]

Good morning, little girl.

That eye looks so good now.

We only treat them
for as long as we need to,

so as soon as we can get them back
home to their friends and family,

then, we will do that.

We can't just keep her
in the koala hospital forever.

Can't you get up the tree?

You need help getting up there?

Aren't your claws sharp enough?

Juliet's a bit different,
because those claws...

they're just really blunt and short.

If you look at Princess Leia's claws,

her claws are actually really long
and sharp.

But if you look at Juliet's claws,

they're not long and sharp,

and that makes it a little harder
for her to climb.

I don't know whether she was
just made that way

or whether she's ever
sort of damaged them.

[Izzy] In the wild,
koalas can't live on the ground.

They need to be up high
in the trees so they feel safe

and so that they can get to food.

I'm gonna go scout out some trees
with my dad.

It's really important that we find
the right tree to release you in.

Dad and I get up
to a lot of mischief together.

[laughs] He's a great partner in crime.

[Dad] All right, Izzy Wiz. Let's go
and find a place to release Juliet.

[Izzy] Yeah.
This is where Juliet was found.

This is a really good place
for wild koalas.

Oh, look, there's a koala!

That's a really good sign.

-[Dad] Which way?
-[Izzy] This way.

[Dad} This way?

-I see a really good tree. Follow me.
-Yeah?

[Dad] All right, let's go.

[Izzy laughing]

-Raar!
-[yelps]

[Izzy laughs]

[both laughing]

[Dad grunts]

So, what sort of tree
are we looking for, Iz?

One with heaps of bark on it.

Something that's grippy.

Juliet doesn't have the sharpest of claws.

-Whoa.
-[Dad] Is that a good tree?

Nah, too many spiderwebs in that tree.
Never mind.

What is that?

Caterpillar.
We'll leave this tree to you, caterpillar.

I have no claws at all, so...

[grunting]

Izzy? I don't think you're a koala.

-Awww.
-[chuckles]

Look, that one, Dad.

Oh, yeah. I like that tree.

It's perfect.

[Dad] Is it nice and grippy?

[Izzy] It is.

Ooh! I got some bark, so I can take back
and show it to Juliet.

-Got it.
-[shutter whirrs]

-[Izzy] I hope Juliet likes this tree.
-I think she will.

-You picked well.
-Okay.

-[Izzy] Juliet!
-[grumbles]

I'm back, Juliet.

-Hello.
-[sniffs]

We found you the perfect tree.

It's close to where we first found you.

I actually climbed the tree
to see if you could climb it,

'cause I don't have
the sharpest of claws, just like you.

I got you some bark so you can test
if it'll be grippy enough.

There you go.

That's what your new tree feels like.

She's holding onto it! She likes the bark.

You have one more night
in the hospital, Juliet,

and then you're free.

[Ali] Izzy Bee.

[Izzy] Yeah?

-So, are you ready for Juliet's big day?
-Yeah.

[Izzy] Juliet needs a checkup
before she's ready to be released.

Juliet, we need to check three things
before you can be released.

First, that your breathing is clear.

Then, we need to check
that you're the right weight.

And, most importantly, to check
that your eye has healed.

-Her lungs sound really clear.
-That's brilliant.

And then weighing her.

Oh, she's heavier now.
Around seven pounds.

That's a good weight, Juliet.

[Ali] Next, it's a special little test.

This tells us if there's still
any ongoing problem with her eye.

So just very gently.

Beautiful.
Now, what we don't want to see here...

[Izzy] Is green.

[Ali] Exactly. So, can you see any green?

-So, there's no green.
-No green at all.

That's all healed.
That's absolutely brilliant.

Okay, Dr. Bee.

-Dr. Izzy Bee.
-Dr. Izzy Bee.

What are your findings today?

She's doing really well,

and I think she's ready
to go into the wild.

Yay!

Good job, Juliet.

-[Ali] We gotta let her go.
-[Izzy] Yeah.

All right, time to go paint her bum.

[Izzy] This is non-toxic animal dye,

so that we can see you when you're
high up a tree without disturbing you.

Perfect.

It's okay.

There we go. You're gonna be
the most stylish koala out there,

with your little dots.

Your bottom looks really pretty.

[laughing] That sounds a bit...

[Ali] We'll miss you.

You've had your little stay
in the koala resort,

and now it's time to go home.

-Hi, guys.
-[Izzy] Hi, Dad.

-[Ali] Hey.
-Got a little cage here for you guys.

-[squeaks]
-[Ali] All right.

It's all right.

It's okay, Juliet.

Oh, she just walked in!

[Ali] Very good job.

[Izzy] Here we are, Juliet.
You're back home.

-Juliet.
-How's she doing?

She's a little bit stressed
at the moment.

Juliet, I know you're nervous, but, look.

I got you a little flower.

-There you go.
-[sniffs]

She's smelling the flower.

-Yeah? [chuckles]
-Yeah!

[Dad] All right. Let's go.

[Izzy] This is your new neighborhood,
Juliet.

This is where you're gonna live now.

-[Dad] There's the tree.
-[Izzy] Yay!

As soon as I open the cage,

it's up to you then, Juliet.

You can do anything you want.

Total freedom.

[Dad] You think she's ready to go, Iz?

[knocking sound effect]

She's definitely ready to go, Dad.

[knocking sound effect]

You're free!

Go on. It's okay.

Come on, Juliet.

-[Dad] Put her on the tree.
-[squeaking]

-There we go.
-[squeaks]

[Izzy] The wild might be a little bit
scary at first, but you'll get used to it.

-Can you help her up there?
-Yeah. It's okay. Shh.

Sh, sh, sh, sh. Shh.

It's okay.

It's kind of hard for Juliet
to climb up the tree

because her claws are so short.

Once she makes a branch
she'll be fine, Iz.

Yeah.

It's okay, Juliet.

I'm just gonna watch to make sure
that you make it to the branch, Juliet.

You can do it, Juliet. I believe in you.

Yes, she did it!

Oh, now she's going up. Look at that.

-[Izzy] Now you've got the idea!
-[Dad laughs] She's making it.

Yeah. She's climbing
higher and higher up the tree now.

-Hey, Izzy?
-Yeah?

-You happy?
-I'm gonna miss Juliet.

I'll miss you, Juliet.

But I feel happy for her,

now I know she's safe
and she's where she's supposed to be.

I think Juliet's gonna be
with all her friends

and she's gonna live happily in a tree.

-And...
-[Dad] Mission accomplished?

-Let's go.
-Yes.

-Bye, Juliet.
-Bye, Juliet. See ya!

[Izzy] Bye!
