Hermanos y detectives (2006–…): Season 1, Episode 4 - El extranjero solitario - full transcript

There is a camp for the children of the police, to which Lorenzo comes. A foreigner is mysteriously murdered in the town of Los Pinos. Years later, after the intrigue that Lorenzo received when listening the story, begins to investigate.

Brothers and detectives

Brothers be united.

- What?

- Excuse me, I’m a foreigner

and I'm looking for the way to the lagoon.

- I'll draw you a map.
Difficult road, very difficult.

Here.

- Yes, Serrano here.
Is Marcela coming with breakfast?

Okay. You ordered the toast with
whole wheat bread, didn't you? Okay.

- The other day I got home and asked him
if he likes "la pulga" Messi.

He answers me: I don't know.
What kind of music does he play?

He may be very learned, he may be very smart,

but I don't know if I'm raising him right.
He lacks street.

- Do you think streetwise kids are better?

Take for instance lieutenant Gonzalo's kids.

The opposite of Lorenzo, and they spend
all day looking for porn on the Internet.

- I understand what you say,
but I mean something else.

I'd like him to go out in the street,
to get his knees a bit muddy playing soccer,

in something a little more risky
than reading a book.

- Riskier? Since I met him he faced a killer,

a couple of criminals and two Russian acrobats.

- Yes, what I'm trying to say is that I hope
he won't regret not having had a childhood.

I spent it taking care of my mom.
I know what I'm talking about.

Come on in.

- Excuse me. Good morning, Marcela.

- Good morning, Marcela.
Did you do something to your hair?

- No.
- Because you look prettier.

You were prettier before too.
Well, not better than now.

- Thank you. Send a kiss to your brother.

- If you give it to me, I'll hand it to him.

- Mansilla, instead of playing the smart ass
with the girl, who's working,

why don't you take care
of the Barbosa case file...

that I gave you a week ago?

- Okay.
- "Okay," he says. Come, Marcela.

- This son of a bitch has a radar on me.

Did you see that? How can it be?

- Come on in.
- Excuse me, guys. I'll stick this on and go.

- What's this?

- It's the third time it takes place.
Last year I sent my nephew.

It's not expensive and they can deduct it
from your salary in 12 installments.

Camp for children of policemen

- Centuries ago mankind stopped being nomadic.

I don't understand the point
of going to a camp, Franco.

- For example, to be in contact with nature,

having fun, playing like a kid your age?

- Yes, but weren't we going to work
on the Barbosa case?

- What did we agree on, Lorenzo?

- Well, let's see...
- Well, let's see...

- Tell me item by item.

- Sleeping bag.
- Yes, here.

- Mosquito repellent.
- Here.

- Sol de noche (Camping lamp)?
- Here. -Perfect.

- Flashlight?
- Here.

- Okay. Water bottle?
- Yes.

- Perfect. Vitamin B, C, and D?
- Here it is.

- Life vest?
- Yes, here.

Lorenzo, you'll be on
Los Pinos, not Vietnam.

Come on, go on.

- Hot water bottle for muscle aches?
- Here it is.

- No, Lorenzo. Stop it.

You have to learn a basic rule: less is more.

That's how it is in camps. Understand?

The less you carry the better.
You can't carry just anything.

You have to learn to adapt to situations,
to improvise.

You can't foresee everything.
You get it?

- Yes, that's what Louis XV said,
and then in battle...

- Louis XV my foot.
Not everything is in the books, man.

Do you know where to eat
the best pizza in Buenos Aires?

Do you know how to ask the butcher for meat
and get the best part?

How to make a fire? How to unbutton
a lady's bra with only one hand?

Do you know when you have to pass
and when you have to shoot for goal?

- In the camp do they teach you
how to unbutton a bra with only one hand?

- # We're leaving, we're leaving very happy.

# We'd like to stay but we don't have time. #

- Dad, Dad!

- What is it, Silvio?
- The boy sneaks in.

- Hey, tell the kid to get in line.
My son was first.

- It's unbelievable: like father, like son.

- Montero! What's up?
- How's it going?

- Let me introduce you
my hottie sister, Daniela.

- How are you, Daniela?
Nice to meet you. Lorenzo, Gonzalo.

- How are you doing? -Fine.
- First time?

- No, I already came last year.

- Has he always had this truck?

- They say he bought it with the "change"
from the raid on the hypermarket.

- Agustín, my love, come down,
they're waiting for you.

- No, daddy. I told you I didn't want to go.

- Get off, I said, Agustín.
- I don't want to go, Dad.

Don't you listen to what I tell you?

- Get off or I'll grab you by your butt's skin

and put you on the bus.
Come on, shit. Walk.

- What a beauty, your car!
- How are you doing?

How's it going, guys?

A little joy, man.
You're going on vacation, not to a wake.

- Hello.
- Mr. Deputy Commissioner.

- Say hello to Montero's son.
- He's my brother. My brother.

- Future commissioner?
- No, he doesn't have the brains.

Not because of his head's size...

He's a good kid,
but my wife spoils him too much.

He's getting out of hand.
I can't handle this kid.

- Nice acquisition.
- The truck?

Yeah, my wife won it in a raffle.
It's powerful.

It's a plane.

- What's up, deputy?

- Who's running this? Who's in charge?
- There's two guys in there who look serious.

- All right, let's get organized.
A semicircle around us.

- Let's get some order.

- For those who don't know us,
we're Jorge and Alberto,

and we are in charge
of organizing the routines

we are going to have
during these three days.

- Do you feel like playing? -Yes!
- Do you feel like having fun? -Yes!

- Then go to Temaiken,
because here you come to work.

- Let's move.

- # My daddy is a policeman

# My mommy's a housewife.

# When daddy goes to work

# the painter she...

# Birdie was Uruguayan,

# Argentina was his stock.

# Some say he was gay

# or even a sodomite.

# Going through history... #

- No, no, no. Until you hook the tarp,
the skeleton won't balance.

- Listen to the instructor, guys. Please.

- Over there, you have to hook
the flap with the flap. Otherwise...

- Hurry up. Come on.

Get organized.

- The Dutch, such speed!

It seems you'll sleep lying on the lake.

- You're unrolling it wrong.
It's the other side.

- The other side. There one side, and another.
It's the other way.

- There it is. Now pull and drive the stakes.

- Looks like we've got a camp expert here.

- No, it's my first time. But it's
the only way that a square base,

four posts and 16 stakes
and a club-shaped tarpaulin

operate functionally in the same structure.

- Are you a mathematical physicist?

- Don't you have a shovel? Because we better

dig a gutter around the tent in case it rains.

- Of course, if it rains...

- Would a spoon do? Because shovel...

- They're going to be here for a long time.
- This kid will ruin our camp.

- Yeah, he's a pain in the ass.

- Since they don't want him at home,
they send him to camp.

- # Some morning I'll find you
# in my room #

# and you'll make up the bed for two. #

- Another day we'll sing one from
Rebel Way (soap opera), one that you know.

Tomorrow will be a busy day

so everyone to your tents. Come on.

- That is, as long as you're not bothered
by the spirit of the lonely stranger.

- What are you saying?
Can't you see they're kids?

- What's the spirit of the lonely stranger?
- Nothing. What did I say? Go to the tents.

- No, come on, tell us what it is.

- Nothing, a horror story, a legend.

It's very disturbing. Let's go to sleep,
tomorrow you'll need a lot of energy.

- No, we want to hear the horror story.

- A few years ago,
here in a nearby town, in Los Pinos,

something so scary happened as to get
me scared just for thinking about it.

- It was winter.
An icy wind rushed through the trees

making a ghostly sound.

The lonely foreigner had arrived at the inn.

He had been touring
different provinces and some clue

brought him to Los Pinos.

No one knew what he was looking for.

Some said that he had a hidden map,

perhaps the map of a hidden treasure.

The villagers say

that on that last day, perhaps sensing
that something terrible might happen to him,

the lonely foreigner did not even take a bite.

- He grabbed his tent and a few belongings

and wandered off into the forest
towards the swamp.

No one heard from him again.

The next morning some campers

found his tent by the river

and the fire still crackling

but no trace of the lone stranger,
the map or the treasure.

They searched for days,
months, but with no luck.

- No one claimed him.
No person, no embassy, no country. No one.

Some say he was swallowed by the swamp.

Some say he fell into the river and drowned.

Neither the police nor the press
could ever explain

the mystery of the lonely stranger.

- We don't even know if the story is true.

- Besides we can't lie to the instructors.

- If my dad finds out about this he'll kill me.

- Would you rather stay here and play bag races?

Why don't we wait
for the right moment and run away?

Let's go around town, look for clues,
tie up loose ends, unravel the mystery.

- Gentlemen, today's activity is survival.

In the city we are provided everything,
but here we are alone.

No supermarket, no kiosk,
no McDonald's, no nothing.

- This camp extends north for 10 km.

If you get lost guide yourselves
by the position of the sun

which as you all know rises in the east

and sets in the...
- West.

- All right, let's divide the work.
Those in tents one and two

will look for dry firewood
to light the campfire tonight,

especially dry leaves to light the fire.

Tents 3 and 4 will craft fishing poles,

go to the river and bring back
enough fish for all of us to eat.

- But that's more difficult.

- This river is very generous. I don't think
you'll have any major difficulties.

And those in tents 5 and 6 will look for fruit

so that we have something for dessert.

- You'll feel tired, you'll be hungry, thirsty.

You'll be tempted to go back to camp,

but that's when you have to be strong
for the common good.

- The deadline for return
is seven o'clock in the evening,

the hour when the sun sets.

Whoever returns before that time

automatically disqualifies
his entire team. Okay?

- Yes.

- Let the journey begin, then.
- Let's get going.

- I hope they won't come back
before seven o'clock.

- Impossible, forget it, it rained yesterday.

They won't find dry firewood anywhere.

And this river is shit.

The only thing they can catch here is a toad.

And forget about fruit

because these fields are so poorly tended
that not even Kumquat grow.

Gentlemen, let's play music.

We are as we want to be.

This is perfect.

# She decides when it's daytime.

# She manages the sun.

# She goes around painting the whole house

# with pieces of crayon.

# Red on the walls,
# green on the dark dining room chair,

# and a little bit of light blue...

# here in my heart.

# paint me a tree that won't grow old

# paint in my room

# a green tree with fresh leaves,

# paint it with your crayon. #

- Stop.
- What's the matter?

- I think I got a blister on my big toe.

- But we walked less than five blocks.

- How much farther to town?
Because it hurts.

- Miles to go.

- I think we're making a mistake, guys.

- What mistake?

- I don't want to upset my father
and Agustín's father.

- We already discussed this.
We can't work like this.

Whoever doesn't want to come,
go back to the camp. I'll go on.

And that's why computerized irrigation
was so popular in Europe.

The cost-benefit ratio led almost 70%
of the land owners to implement it.

- I'll tell my dad, it's a fact.
- You won't regret it.

- Thanks for the ride.

- And now where are we going?
- There. The old town newspaper.

- La Voz de Los Pinos, newspaper.

I scared you!

Sorry, my friends.

- Did you work at La Voz de los Pinos?

- No, I currently work! Lately
the flow of activities has slowed down.

They say they're going to close the firm.
I don't know.

What are you guys doing around here?

- We're with the children of policemen camp.

- No, we were looking for information
about the mysterious foreigner.

- "The mysterious foreigner"...

- Don't say where we're coming from because
for now they're all suspects.

This man may be a murderer.

- Max Klein. Max Klein.

Yes, I remember. He
said he was a photographer

going around the
country taking pictures.

But I can assure you:

that man was lying, because
I was born and raised in Los Pinos,

and in this town there's not a fucking place
that deserves to be photographed.

If memory serves me correctly

this was around September 1970...

What are you guys looking for?

- We're doing a school assignment

looking for information about
a photographer who disappeared: Max Klein.

In the year 1970...

- 1975! Max Klein.

Yes. He was staying at
Don Aquilino's boarding house,

God rest his soul.

And then I don't know why
he decided to camp near the swamp.

If my boss authorizes it
I can lend you the material,

but you'll have to sign a memorandum.

- No problem.

- Otherwise my job is in jeopardy.

- I understand you perfectly.

- The city is tough, they say,

but Los Pinos is a jungle.

It's the law of the strongest.

Everyone goes around with the saw, around here.

Here it is.

What are you kids doing around here?

- October 8, 1975.

Mysterious disappearance of a tourist.

There are no traces of violence.
6 km east of town

they find an intact tent
with all his belongings.

Don Aquilino and his wife
are the last to see him.

Give me another edition.

The police still has no trace of the tourist.

The swamp hypothesis is reinforced.

End of the search. More than a month
after Klein's disappearance

the police close the case.

Record rainfall so far in October.

Farmers lament the loss of their crops.

- What's that got to do with it?

- We know that from the camp
he couldn't have gone downstream.

It was the rainy season
and the terrain is concave

so we can assume that area was flooded.

- High 11, low three. New moon.
This could be useful, couldn't it?

- Very much so, but why?
- For October it's too cold.

- Exactly, but Klein didn't seem to care much.

New moon means the moon is not visible.
Zero light.

Who will go out dig up a treasure

in the middle of a forest on a dark night?

- There.
- You're right.

Thirty years ago this pine tree could very well
be the mound you mistake for a bush.

- And there is a bird.
- So?

- Nothing, just saying.
- Okay.

Yes, it's here.

We came from the west, and there's
the town. He didn't go that way.

Just to move forward, let's assume that what
Klein was looking for was in another direction.

- Downstream we already said no
because it was flooded.

- We ruled out north, south and west.

- What's wrong?

- Stand still and don't dare move, please.

Brothers and detectives

- Is there a bee?

- When I count to three run to us.

- What's the matter?
- 1, 2...

- Corman!

- Did you see how big it was?

- It's a rattlesnake. Very poisonous.

Careful, guys.

- Thank you.
- You're welcome.

- Before we go any further, can we stop at
that house and see if we can get a band-aid?

This blister is killing me.

- Is there anyone here?

We were looking for someone
who could lend us a Band-Aid.

My friend blistered his foot.

Thank you very much.

Yeah, he wasn't planning on being away for long.

There must be some clues near here.

- Is this any good?
- Of course. Thank you very much, sir.

- By the way, I wanted to ask you a question.

We're doing a school project

looking for information
about the history of the town.

We were assigned the mysterious
disappearance of a tourist.

More than 30 years ago,
Max Klein or something like that.

By any chance,
weren't you living here at that time?

- I think he was a photographer.

- I wasn't. I came later.

- How much later?
How long have you lived here?

- I'm very busy. Ask somewhere else.

- What can happen? I say: we go in,
look around, 10 minutes max.

This man knows something.
- We don't know that for sure.

- Don't we? He said he arrived after '75
and the construction is earlier.

Didn't you notice the age of the logs,

the color of the thatch, the style of the glass?

- He may have bought it ready-made.

- We came all this way and we're not going in?

We can find what no one has found for years.

- My dad treats me badly, anyway.
Let's go in for all I care.

- This is crazy. We're already late.

The instructors
must be looking for us everywhere.

- Did you ever think

that inside your head there are
autonomous intelligent beings,

entire civilizations?

Not aliens, micro-terrestrials.

Civilizations that manage you.

- Yes.

And they don't notice us
because to them we're so enormous

that they mistake us for the universe.

- You go fishing in this sewer, instead!

We found 10 Kumquat, and nothing else!

- Is it seven o'clock already?

- Party pooper!

- Slowly.

Silvio, you keep watch here.

Agustín, check the doors downstairs.

Gonzalo, come with me upstairs.

You check there.

- It's locked.

- In the room there's a bunch of keys.

- Careful.

- Let's go, please.

- You stay here. I'm going upstairs
with Gonzalo to get the keys.

Bring the keys. Hurry up.

- He's on his way here.

- Hurry up.
- Just a second.

- The old man is coming into the house.

- Put the keys back where they were.

- Are you okay?

- Look, some pins.

- There's a curtain here. Shall I open it?

- Yes.

- Is that the Newell's Old Boys flag?
(local football team)

- 13, 14, 15, 16, 17...

18, 19, 21, 22,...

1, 2, 3, 4, 5,...

- 6 million Jews exterminated.
250,000 Gypsies.

Hitler, Eichmann, Mengele, doesn't ring a bell?

- You mean that the old may be a Nazi?

- What could he be?
Don't you see everything he has hung?

I can't believe you don't know anything.
Where did you attend school?

We have to notify the local police.

All that's left is for them
to find Klein's body.

- The old man killed him?

- Klein was a spy.
That's why no one claimed him.

He was probably working on a secret mission

looking for Nazis who took refuge in Argentina.

A lot of them came in during Perón's time,

as soon as World War II ended.

Of course, Klein was Jewish, and perhaps
he was working with Simon Wiesenthal,

a concentration camp survivor who later
devoted himself to hunting Nazis.

- How do you know Klein was Jewish?

- From what the instructors said:

he did not eat anything
the day before his disappearance.

According to the newspaper it was October 6,

and Jews follow the lunar calendar.

According to my calculations,
taking into account the 29 days

of the leap month that
are added every seven years

the date should match

the day of forgiveness.

Of course, for them
it's a day for absolute fasting.

- They don't eat anything for a whole day?

- We have to get out of here now.

Slowly.

Stop.

- There's someone here.

- There's no one, but let's go slowly.

- I told you to ask somewhere else.

Brothers and detectives

- It was a completely normal activity:
go fishing in the river,

fetching fruit...

- Go get fruit, go fishing in the river....

- Going to look for the logs...
We didn't do anything out of the ordinary.

- It's not our fault.

- Hello. Who's in charge of the search?

- Omar, did you bring the yerba mate?

- Fuentes, these men are looking for you.

- We're the parents of the kids who got lost.

We're all policemen from the capital.

We want to know how
you're organizing the search.

- Two officers went to
Don Baer's and Don Sergio's.

And now... Vieites!

Why don't you organize
a search on Vergara's field?

- Camacho is already on it, sir.

That's it, that's it.

- Do you know where they went and why?

- The time of return was
seven o'clock in the evening,

the time the sun goes down,
which for us is a completely normal time.

- They had to gather logs, fruits...

- Deputy Commissioner,
shall we join the operation?

- I'm trying to get Fresco and Batata
to tell me something coherent.

- Hello? Yes, Raquel, tell me.

We don't know anything yet.
We're working on it.

I'll let you know if there's anything.
I'll call you.

- Fuentes, here's Don Delford.
He seems to know something.

- Bring him.

- I heard on the radio that some little boys
were lost. I saw them.

- When, Don Delford? When did you see them?

- When what?
- When did you see the boys, Don Delford?

- Oh, the boys, yes.
They were working on an investigation.

They'd been to the newspaper...

- No, Don Delford, you're confusing us.

These boys were on a camping trip.

- The newspaper went out of business
30 years ago. The thing is, Mr. Delford

has memory problems and gets things
mixed up. Don't you, Mr. Delford?

- Excuse me, Mr. Delford.
What were the boys investigating?

- What were they investigating?
- Who?

- The boys, what were they investigating?

- They were investigating the
disappearance of... Oh! What was it? Klein.

- The lonely stranger.

- Who was the lonely stranger?

- It was winter and an icy wind
was rushing through the trees.

- Can somebody tell me
what are they talking about?

- Famous unsolved case, sir.

I remember it well because my uncle
was the sheriff back then.

Don Fermín, may he rest in peace.

- Ah, yes, the one with the glasses,
that was the leader.

Yes, he was leading the investigation.

- Is that your brother, Montero?
- Yes, sir.

- If your brother dragged my son
into this little adventure

you're fired. And you too, Mansilla.

- Why me, sir?
- Because I hate you.

And pray that nothing happens to my son.

Come on, Bianchini.

- Stop it.

- Lorenzo!
- Gonzalo!

- Silvio!
- Agustín!

- I found tangerine peels here, Fuentes.

- Then we're doing well, Omar.

- Fuentes, there's a fruit crate.

- It must be theirs.

- It has to be theirs.
I sent them to get fruit.

- Our responsibility

ends where the responsibility of others begins.

- Lorenzo!
- Gonzalo!

- Silvio!

- This is where they found the tourist's tent.

I remember it perfectly.

That day I came with my uncle,
who at that time was a commissioner.

- You already said it, Fuentes.

- I already said it... Omar!

What do you think, Omar?
From here, where could they have gone?

- Fuentes, I don't want to be a bad omen but...

- What's the matter?

- It happens to be near the swamp.

And it's treacherous.

- Hello, Raquel.
- Can I eat this?

- Just eat it.

- We're close, Raquel. I'm working.
I don't have any news yet.

I'll call you if I have any news.

I told you I'll call you, Raquel!

People, let's go to the swamp.

- Deputy, what are you going to the swamp for?

- Isn't that where that asshole got lost?

- But they had the newspapers of the time.

They knew the hypothesis
that the tourist fell into the swamp.

That's what everybody thought at the time.

- What are you talking about, Montero?

- I know my brother very well.

Surely he assumed that the swamp
had already been searched at the time.

He would rule it out immediately.
I think he was following another lead.

- But these are 11-year-old boys, Montero.
What hypothesis are you talking about?

- Let's relax, deputy commissioner.
We're all very upset...

- Yes, you make me more and more upset.
Do as I say. Let's go to the swamp.

- I do as I please.

Besides, I'm off duty and it's provincial time.

And don't forget that I have a lost nephew too.

- You can't compare
a nephew to a son, Mansilla, please!

- Why not?

- Because if a nephew dies,
the only problem you'll face

is to put up with your sister
at family gatherings.

But if a son dies, you'll have to put up
with your wife busting your balls

for the rest of your life.
Let's go to the swamp.

- There's another thing, sir.
- What is it, now?

- They're coming with the rope and the winches,

but to get to the swamp
you need a couple of mules...

or a 4×4.

I can get the mules, but of course,
we all won't fit in.

- Anyone else to bring?
- I don't think so.

- Which way is it?
- Follow me, Don Serrano.

- What "Don Serrano", you bitch?

- Careful, it's slippery. Go, go.

- What a shitty place, this!
- Yes, it's very clayey here.

- Bianchini, are you here?
- Yes, yes.

- This way, Serrano.
- Look at this shit, please!

- Nothing?

- Lorenzo!
- Gonzalo!

- Silvio!
- Agustín!

- Did you see that, Omar? The light bugs.

- Boss, can there be waterproof suits for us?

- Of course! Camacho, bring two suits
for Don Serrano and his people.

- It's a fact that Lorenzo
wouldn't come here naturally.

It's also a fact that if they hadn't had
some kind of accident

they would have already returned or called.

- How disgusting!
- It's just mud, Don Serrano.

- Bend my boot down there.
- Hold it there.

- Toe. Push the heel.

- I'll fix it here, boss.

- Slowly, Bianchini!
Fuck your sister!

- Is this deep?
- Not much. You still must use a rope.

- How do you do this? Slowly.

Fucking hell, shitty place!
Are you going to stand there and watch?

- We're thinking, sir.

- What happened now?
- The generator ran out of fuel.

- Omar, did you bring fuel?

- Wasn't Vieites going to bring it?

- Vieites, did you bring more fuel?

- Wasn't Omar bringing it?

- Montero, take the key of the truck
that's in my pants

and go get diesel oil.

Be careful, it's brand new.
I don't want even a scratch.

- Don't worry, sir.
I'm his co-pilot. Nothing will happen.

- Agustín!

- What the fuck could be...?

Brothers and detectives

- Sir, excuse the hour.

Excuse us, please.
We're police officers from the capital.

We're looking for a person in the swamp.

We ran out of diesel for the generator.

We were on our way to town. We saw the house.

We want to know if you can sell us a canister.

- I don't have... I don't have.

- But the house runs on a generator!

- What?

- There's no electricity here.

It has to have fuel.

- We are very upset.
A group of kids just got lost.

We're afraid they may
have fallen into the swamp.

If you can help us, we'd appreciate it.

- Hold on a second.

- Thank you, sir.

- Here you go.
- How much do we owe you?

- No, nothing.

- Thank you, sir. That's very kind of you.

Country people, good people.

What are we doing?

Like two idiots, doing everything Serrano says.

What are we looking for in the swamp?

- Stop it!

- If anything happens to Lorenzo,
I'll kill myself. He's all I got.

- Take it easy, man. It's gonna be all right.

- What would Lorenzo do?

What's this?
- I don't know.

- Didn't you hear what happened?

- What happened?

- The can of diesel you gave us exploded.

It was an accident.

- Are you all right?
- Yeah, yeah, I think so.

- I wouldn't try if I were you, sir.

Drop the gun.

Lorenzo, are you all right?

- Yes.

- I thought it was all a lie, a legend, a story,

but it seemed more fun than picking fruit.

- But when we talked
with the old man from the newspaper

we realized that everything
the instructors told us was true.

- Be careful with that one, he's really
dangerous. Don't let him out of your sight.

- I thought this stuff was boring

but Lorenzo taught us
how to apply the deductive method

and we started to connect the dots.
When we realized that...

- Come on, Camperito. Move.

Don't be stubborn. Come on. Move.

- Dad!
- There they are.

- Agustín!

Who the fuck do you think you are
to do what you've done?

You fucking brat!

If you don't want me to fill your ass
with sores, get in the truck right now.

- Mr. Deputy Commissioner, your son is a hero.

Together with his friends, they solved a case
that will have worldwide transcendence.

That man inside the patrol car
is a Nazi criminal.

He has an international arrest warrant.

He was a member of the SS.

He committed war crimes
that would make your blood run cold.

The United Nations is aware of the situation.

Tomorrow morning a retinue will arrive
to take him to Europe for trial.

So if it weren't for the courage of these boys

and the explosion of your truck, we would be
facing a terribly complicated situation.

- Extinguish the trail of fire, Omar.
- What with?

- Give him some water.
- Turn on the faucet.

- It's a good thing we weren't inside,
because now we wouldn't be telling the story.

- Why don't you turn the wheel, Omar?

Omar, stop drinking and turn the wheel,
it's advancing.

- Bianchini, see if you
can get me a Lexotan in town.

Go and look for a taxi,
I'd like to be on my way back now.

- Well, guys, the road is bad for the night.

So I suggest that you spend
the night at the campsite

and let's finish this party in peace.

- Shall I find a vehicle to go back
or do you prefer the mules?

- It blowed up to hell!

- A tereré, mate?

- Guys, let's celebrate the fact
that we are all together,

that the fugitives have returned,

and that a case of international importance
has been solved.

Of great importance.

The most important case
that has been solved here in Los Pinos.

- Exactly, and it has been solved by you boys,

thanks to the activities that we,
the instructors, gave you.

- And one of those activities is singing.

So how about singing together
one that we all know?

- # My boss's car got a flat tire.

# What'll we patch it with?
# With some bubble gum. #

- Don't you know another one?

- # It's all over at last. Nothing can escape.

# Everything has an end. Everything ends.

# I must understand that life is not eternal.

# Crying and laughter, that's how they end. #

- # I thought that love was immeasurable.

# Or you stop loving, maybe another woman,

# who'll forget what she once thought:

# that it would never end, it would never end,

# but nevertheless it ended.

# Everything proves to me
# that at the end of the day

# I end each day, I begin each day,

# I sense tomorrow, I fail today.

# How much truth!

# There is in living

# only

# the moment in which you are:

# yes, the present!

# The present and nothing else! #
