A barn fire took place near Hudson,
Alberta last night.

Early reports
suggest there could've been

up to 25 horses in the
facility at the time.

Firefighters arrived on the scene

just after midnight to find
the barn engulfed in flames.

- What's going on?
- We don't know yet,

I couldn't get the
volume up fast enough.

Hopefully they say it again.

They were able to contain the fire,

and save other structures
on the property,

but were not able to
salvage the barn itself.

It's yet to be confirmed
how many horses made it out.

that Caldwell stables
is not the facility

where out of town competitors

have boarded their horses in the past.

The decision to change venues
was made just last week,

by a local rodeo legend
named Tim Fleming.

Some are suggesting his
attempt to cut costs...
