Gold Rush: Alaska (2010–…): Season 6, Episode 16 - Golden Bombshell - full transcript

Parker takes a huge risk as he abandons the Boundary Cut for a shot at big gold. Gene pushes the dredge faster than it was ever designed to run and Todd's best clean up of the season is ...

It's time to separate
the boys from the men.

Narrator:
On this "gold rush"...

Schnabel:
We brought you some gold.

Blaschke: Shut it off!

-[bleep]
-watch those water lines!

Blaschke: Whoa.

[bleep]

Can't believe parker
just did that, man.

We're not moving.

[bleep]

Tony is not
gonna like this.

Whoo!

I don't want to get
in [bleep] for this.

Let's rip it up.

Tony found a nugget.

Right now, we need
some more ground opened up.

Turin: Now that's a pan
right there, boys.

Spinks: It's just
a black, muddy mess.

I need some help.

Sterling!

Todd:
We're pretty much screwed.

So I'm feeling pretty good
about our season goal.

You know, I really think
that 3,000 ounces

Is well within reach.

I mean, I guess the boundary cut
has been paying out sweet.

And goldzilla is definitely
plowing through the dirt.

But 3,000 that's --
that's a big number.

We've never thrown a goal out
that we didn't surpass.

And I'm not about
to start now.

Narrator: With just five weeks
left in the season,

Parker schnabel
has 1,800 ounces of gold,

Over half of his 3,000 ounce,
$3.3 million goal.

It's time to pay the royalties

He owes to his landlord,
tony beets.

Hi.

Things are going good.
Beets: Yep.

We've got that other plant.

And things are going well.
Good, good, good.

We've done a couple cleanups
out of it.

And it's been --
it's been really good.

We brought you some gold.

Yeah.

You want to weigh
this stuff up?

Narrator: Parker owes tony
285 ounces of gold.

200...

...300...

...400...

500.

It's just over
500 ounces.

525 or so.

Man:
That's a lot of money.

That's the royalty on our goal,
which is 3,000.

Narrator:
Parker has surprised tony with
over half a million dollars,

Twice what he owes.

He's paid every cent
he'll owe his landlord

If he hits his ambitious
3,000-ounce season goal.

I just need these guys
to stay around.

You're sticking around,
right?

3,000 ounces,
I mean, uh...

We're nowhere
near that right now.

It's time to separate
the boys from the men.

Parker...

Narrator:
By paying an extra $264,000
in gold upfront...

See you around.
...Parker has put himself

And his crew
under even more pressure

To hit their goal
for the season.

I can't believe
parker just did that, man.

Yeah, the boundary cut
is going good.

But what if something happens?

We're going to be here
until [bleep] christmas now,

Trying to pay it off,
you know?

Schnabel:
Onwards and upwards.

Todd:
We've got a lot of our money,

A lot of our blood,
sweat, and tears

Is right here in this supercut.

Narrator: The hoffman crew
has spent all season

Mining their biggest cut ever --
the supercut.

Hiatt:
The pay dirt is coming.

The guys are dumping it
off the back here.

And as long
as they can keep sending it,

We'll keep running it, I think.

Narrator: Todd's crew has built
what they've dubbed

The "million dollar pay pot."

But their last
two weekly cleanups

Have been well short
of the 200 ounces they need

To hit their 2,700 ounce,
$3 million season goal.

Turin: This ground isn't paying
like it should.

I just don't know
if we're gonna get 2,700 ounces

Out of the supercut.

We need something good
right now.

Narrator: The crew has to find
a hot spot of concentrated gold

To get back on track.

Right now we need
some more ground opened up.

Hauled this cut last year,
the haul road cut.

It's got some of the best gold

That we've ever seen
on this claim.

So hopefully, I can go ahead
and try to open it up.

Narrator:
They no longer need the d11,
their biggest dozer,

To strip overburden
in the supercut.

Andy spinks takes it
a quarter of a mile east

Next to the best cut
of last season,

The haul road cut,

Hoping to find a hot spot.

Spinks: Got a d11,
got the equipment to do it.

We got the time to do it.
So we're gonna go after it.

We pretty much know
that the ground's good.

But it's the elements
that we have to deal with

At this time of the year

That, you know, can cause
some really big problems.

What the [bleep]

It's just
a black, muddy mess.

Narrator: Andy's new cut
is full of ground water.

Spinks: What the [bleep]

It's a great way
to get a dozer stuck.

It could become
a permanent fixture.

Narrator: If andy gets their
105-ton dozer stuck in the mud,

They don't have
any heavy equipment

Big enough to pull it out.

Todd: How we doing?

Todd, it is a wet,
stinking mess up here.

There is water coming
in every direction.

I need some help.

I need an excavator,
a guided excavator.

Todd: Everybody's busy.

I could probably --
I mean, all I got is sterling.

At this point, I'll take whoever
and whatever I can get.

Narrator: Todd's nephew,
sterling anderson

Has been driving rock trucks
for three seasons.

This is his first time
operating an excavator.

I'm pretty stoked
to be out here with andy

Because it means I'm not
driving the rock truck.

And I've driven
a lot of rock truck

In the last few years.

So it's good to graduate.

Hi, andy, I'm here.

All right, sterling,
just get over here.

As you can see
this stuff's melting fast.

I want you to cut
all this water

And cut it
in these ditches.

You got it?

Yeah,
I think I can do it, andy.

All right.
Go slow.

Take your time.

We don't want to have
these machines stuck out here.

10-4.

We got a bunch
of water right here.

So we've got to get it cut out,

So it doesn't flow into our cut
and create a big mess.

I know andy said take it slow.

But right now, if I go slow,

It's gonna "f" things up.

Narrator:
To drain the groundwater
to a nearby pond,

Sterling has to dig
a 400-foot ditch.

Sterling: Whoa.

That is nice.

Just do
a little bit at a time.

Don't get in
over your head.

These guys like to scare you
with the excavators,

Talk down to me,
just 'cause I don't
have that many hours.

But it's really not
very hard.

[bleep]

Man, you see this water?

Aah. No.

[bleep]

Whoa, whoa, shoot.

It's gonna drill
right into my stupid hole.

Narrator: Sterling has driven
the 48-ton excavator

Into his own ditch.

Back up.

Let's go!

Come on you [bleep]

Go!

Oh, don't get stuck.

Sterling, stop,
stop, stop, stop.

Sterling!

[ engine whirring ]

Sterling: I could be stuck.

Narrator:
Opening up a new muddy cut
with andy spinks,

21-year-old sterling anderson

Has got his 48-ton excavator

Stuck in his own
drainage ditch.

Remember what I said?

Don't panic, just relax.

You're going
to get yourself in worse,

Just hold on.

Dang it.

Ugh [bleep]

You drove
right in the hole.

I slid.

Let's see
if I can get this out.

Narrator:
Andy jumps in the excavator

And swings the arm around

To push the machine
out of the ditch.

But the 460 is ready
to flip over.

Spinks:
This could get ugly.

Sterling: Up, up,

[bleep] me.

Sterling:
Whoa, whoa, whoa.

Watch it. Watch out.

Crap.

Come on.

Yeah! Andy!

Nailed it.

Narrator:
With over 20 years experience
operating excavators,

Andy saves the day.

Get on it.

Sterling:
I'm glad andy was there
to pull me out of that,

'cause I sure as hell
wasn't going to be able to.

I was a little cocky earlier.

I just got straightened out.

I got humbled by the yukon.

Narrator:
In just an hour...

Sterling:
That's a lot of water.

Narrator:
...Sterling drains the water
out of their new cut.

Sterling: You're done.

Spinks:
Nice job. Good deal.

We can get that cut
down now.

Narrator: Andy can now
continue to strip the cut

That just might get
the hoffman crew back on track.

Spinks:
We want to get this stripped
before it gets too late.

Let's go for it.

Hey, kevin?

What?
Tony's coming.

Narrator: Tony beets has spent
over a million dollars

Resurrecting
gold mining history.

But so far,

His 75-year-old dredge

Has had one problem
after another.

With just five weeks
of the season left,

It's produced less than
half a million dollars in gold.

With tony's kids
kevin and monica at the helm,

The dredge is shut down
once again.

Now that that bit
of excitement's over,

We might as well start up.

Kevin:
Let's rip this [bleep] up.

[ engine whirs ]

Narrator: The dredge
is back up and running.

Tony heads back
to paradise hill...

Kevin:
We're just gonna take a sweep.

...Leaving 27-year-old kevin
in charge.

Kevin:
I'm going back to uni soon.

Hopefully another nice,
long boring day at the dredge --

Nothing exciting happens today.

[bleep]

Monica:
What's that, kevin?

It's not moving.

[bleep]

We're very much stuck.

Narrator:
The dredge won't move.

Kevin:
I'm taking some measurements.
I'm seeing how low --

Where ground is beneath us.

It's about 6 feet.

That's where
the corner of our drag

Is pushing the tailings.

Narrator:
The 350-ton gold mining machine

Is beached on
its own fine tailings.

Tony is not
gonna like this.

This is just one more thing
we need to fix.

Narrator: Kevin has to somehow
free the dredge

Before his dad comes back.

Talk to me, kevin.
[bleep]

Locked the hook down
through some tailings.

Yep.
Come forward like 5 feet,

Right up to the dredge

And clear everything
we can reach.

Let's do this.

Whoo!

Dredge is getting
caught up on something,

Assuming the fine tailings.

So we're just getting rid of it.

Narrator:
Worthless fine tailings

That pour out
of the rear sluices

Have built up
and grounded the dredge.

Monica begins excavating
around the back of the dredge

So that it can
float freely again.

When we are down,
that's [bleep] lost money.

I did it.

Hopefully we cleared enough
to try and move.

We shall see.

[ creaking, clanging ]

Not at [bleep] all.

Let me have a quick look.

Narrator: The 350-ton dredge
isn't going anywhere.

Oh, we're proper [bleep]

Blaschke:
We've got to step it up
even faster.

We got a lot of dirt
left to run.

Move as much as we can.

We're running out of time.

Narrator: Parker's crew
is in an all-out scramble

To hit their 3,000-ounce goal.

And parker just upped the ante

By paying royalties on gold
he hasn't yet mined.

Blaschke: I don't think parker's
gonna be real happy

Going home paying on royalties
for gold that he hasn't got.

So we're just trying
to play catch up here.

-Rick?
-Yeah.

The sluice
isn't swinging properly.

Ness: Holy [bleep]

It's like it's out of balance
or something.

It's hammering.

Just see how
it's pounding?

Yeah, that's weird.

Sluice box isn't oscillating.
It's just banging around.

This is not good.

I'm gonna go get mitch

And see if we can't get
this thing running.

Narrator: Every minute
the plant is shut down,

They lose gold.

Let's try to figure
out why this thing
is banging around.

Doumitt:
I hope he says something like
there's too much gold in it.

Ness: Yeah.

Like, we're...

Yeah, that shouldn't
be that close.

We're way to tight.

Oh, something's
out of place here.

We've got hardly any clearance
between the sluice run

And this
diverter plate here.

So something's
moved around here.

Just got to figure out
what.

Narrator: Goldzilla has a set
of four oscillating sluices.

A weighted arm rotates,

Vibrating the sluices

To make gold settle
into the mats.

One of the sluice runs is
banging into the diverter plate

That supplies
gold-rich material.

Well, you can see
all of the water

Is coming out of the left side
of each run.

So it's leaning this way.

I think with all this
water and everything
that's backwashed,

I think
it's been real gradual.

But I think it's weighing
down on the side.

Narrator:
Over the last three weeks,

A water leak has gradually

Washed away the ground
under goldzilla,

Leaning the sluices uneven.

How do we pick this side up
and keep it up?

Blaschke: I mean, we've got
all this sand here now.

I think maybe just pick it up
and see if it moves that away?

Try and chisel some dirt
underneath it.

Narrator:
To lift the wash plant
so they can level it,

Rick has to maneuver
the excavator

Dangerously close
to their water supply.

Blaschke: The biggest thing
you got to worry about

Is sliding forward.

If rick ruptures
their 10-inch water pipes,

They'll be shut down
for twice as long.

Should I try lifting it?
Go ahead.

I'll see what it does here.

Is it doing anything?

Try and work it a little bit
more with the bucket.

Try lifting it again?
Yeah.

Watch those water lines.

Just leave a little pressure
on it there.

Whoa.

Blaschke:
Watch those water lines.

Narrator:
To level out their sluice runs,

Rick ness is attempting
to lift goldzilla,

Parker's 25-ton wash plant.

Whoa.

Rick's tracks slip.

And he almost takes out
the bypass pipe.

I think we got
really lucky there.

Go a little bit more
would be nice.

Ness:
Come on, baby, come on.

You got a half inch.

Come on, come on.

Keep going.

Almost there.

There you go.

Narrator:
Mitch shovels fine tailings
under the plant.

It's time to find out
if the sluices are fixed.

Let me turn it on
really quick.

And we'll see
what it does.

Run that sucker.

It's a little tight.
She's close.

But it's...
But it's not hitting.

Oh, that ain't bad
at all.

We're good to go.

Narrator:
Goldzilla is running pay.

The crew
can get back to mining.

Blaschke:
That was a pretty close call.

The oscillator deck's
a real important part

For us to catch
every little bit of gold.

You know,
with parker paying up front,

We've got to have
this plant running

Every minute, every second.

Otherwise, there's no way
we are going to hit that target.

Kevin:
I don't like being shut down.

I don't like when [bleep]
doesn't work like it should.

Shouldn't be this [bleep]
difficult.

Narrator: Left in charge
with his sister monica,

Kevin beets has run
their 350-ton dredge aground.

After failing
to dig the dredge out,

They left it high and dry
overnight.

I'm sure kevin had hoped
for his last few days

That it'd be smooth sailing.

But I mean,
both today and yesterday

Has been nothing
but a [bleep]

Kevin: The bad part
about being tony's kid,

I think, we got given
a lot more responsibility.

So when [bleep] does happen
to [bleep] up,

We're generally the ones
in the middle of it, fixing it.

I don't want to get in
[bleep] for this.

I ain't taking the blame.
That was his fault.

Narrator:
Monica and kevin have to get
the dredge running

Before tony shows up
to check on progress.

Kevin: Problem is
we're sitting to low.

So clearly, the answer is to get
more water in the cut.

Water leaves here
in about 10 minutes,

It's not going
to be leaving there.

Narrator:
At one end of the dredge pond,

Water flows in
and then out the other,

Via a drainage ditch.

Kevin's new plan,
block the drainage ditch,

Raise the water level
in the pond

And refloat the dredge.

I'm gonna go raise
the water level a bit.

Okay.
Doze the drains closed.

Then we can just
float over that hump.

Yeah.
Yeah. Okay.

Our water level is too low.
So I got to raise it up.

Only way to do that is
to close off the drain.

If no water can get
out of the cut

And we have water
coming into the cut,

The water level is gonna go up,

Pretty simple physics.

Success. Done.

Narrator:
After just three hours,

The water level
has risen six inches,

Enough to see if kevin's
simple fix has worked.

Kevin: Moment of truth.

Yay!

We are moving.

Narrator:
Before tony could find out

That his dredge
had been beached,

Kevin has it back up
and running.

Kevin: We are swinging.

It's been a [bleep] day.

Nothing I tried to do
has [bleep] worked.

And it's just one [bleep]
after another.

But we are back to dredging.

Narrator: Monica and kevin
run klondike pay dirt

For another eight hours

Before tony shows up
for an inspection.

Monica: Hi, daddy.

Monica: Yeah.

Holy crap.
That's quite a bit, eh?

[bleep]

Tony found a nugget.

Narrator: Despite the down time,
the dredge is catching gold.

All right. It's good.

Kevin is heading back
to college.

And now, he can leave
with his reputation intact.

I'm just so sad
you're leaving.

Spinks: It's been a fight to get
this cut opened up.

We've got her.

Narrator:
Andy spinks is on a solo mission

To open up a new cut
at mckinnon creek.

He's determined to find
a new source of gold

To get the crew back on track.

Hey, todd, dave,
I'm down to gravels in this cut.

I hit some red rock.

You might
want to bring a pan,

Come down
and take a look at this.

Todd: 10-4.

Turin: Pick a spot, andy.
What do you think?

Just go right
in that stuff there, huh?

Okay.

Does red rock
mean it's good gold?

Why don't you put it
through the pan and we'll see?

If it's not good,

It's going to be
touch and go,

'cause we need this.

We need this cut
right here.

It'd sure be nice
to hit it, man.

Holy crap.

I'm seeing gold already.

[ laughs ]

Now that's a pan
right there, boys.

Holy frick.

There's probably
50 colors in there.

Where'd you find
this red rock, andy?

This is like playing
roulette right here,

Because we put it
all on a color,

And it's all right here.

I'll tell you what,
let's call this
the roulette cut.

It's obviously
got gold in it.

I don't know how far
the gold will go.

No body knows until we get it
through the plant.

Let's go.

All right.
It's first load of dirt

Out of the roulette cut.

Pierce: Right now
it's down to the wire.

We're just really hoping --

Really, really hoping
that this roulette cut's

Gonna pay well enough
to get us over the goal.

This side is the supercut.

This side is the roulette cut.

And that way
I want the cuts stacked.

I want to make sure
that we keep it separate.

Pierce: Roger that.

Narrator:
The hoffman crew has to run
the roulette cut pay

For the rest of the week

To find out if it'll pay out

As well as
their test pan suggests.

Hiatt: So right now
I'm running the first pay

From our roulette cut.

It is a gamble,
hence it is the roulette cut.

Schnabel:
We're under a lot of pressure.

We've got a lot of work to do
and not too much time to do it.

Narrator: Parker schnabel
loads jagged bedrock

Into his wash plant, goldzilla.

Doumitt: Everybody's getting
an opportunity

To have the wonderful experience
of running bedrock.

I hear a lot of whining
and moaning going on.

Narrator:
He's ordered his crew

To dig twice as deep
into the cut.

We're taking up to
six or eight feet of bedrock.

That's quite a bit deeper
than we've gone before.

Yeah, I mean,
no matter how nasty it is,

We'll keep running it.

And we'll deal with the pain.

Narrator: Parker has decided

That the only way he'll hit
his $3.3 million season goal

Is to take more bedrock.

But running bedrock is risky.

Ness:
This is [bleep] frustrating.

It's tougher to dig.

It's hard on the machines,
and it's hard on the wash plant.

So, you know,
it means more problems,

More problems for everything.

I'm [bleep] annoyed.

What the [bleep]

Come on.

Narrator: On the far side
of the boundary cut...

Ness: [bleep]

Narrator:
...Bedrock has already
become a headache

For foreman rick ness.

Narrator: Tough bedrock
that I'm trying to dig in.

And it just shattered
a brand-new tooth.

[bleep] pin
doesn't want to come out.

[ scoffs ]
this is [bleep] stupid.

Damn it.

I know I've had enough
when something that small

Has me this pissed off.

[bleep]

I've got to put
some dirt in here.

Narrator:
Meanwhile, mitch takes over
feeding the wash plant.

Blaschke: Every time we get
into this big bedrock,

It normally has good gold.

But it comes at a price.

We're hoping
it's going to pay off for us.

But the biggest problem is

Tearing up the plant
and tearing up machines.

Balion: We've got a rock jam
in the hopper.

Blaschke: [bleep] stop.

Narrator:
A big chunk of bedrock

Has made it through
the grizzly bars.

Shut it off!

Mitch immediately
shuts down goldzilla.

Blaschke: See all this material
that's built up?

It's not letting
the grizzlies come down.

And you get something
caught in here like that,

The belt keeps rotating.
It can cut it right in half.

So we're gonna break this out.

We'll spin the belt,
make sure everything's good.

Parker keeps adding
the pressure here,

Trying to get 3,000 ounces.

And we can't afford
any problems like this.

Narrator:
To clear the conveyor,

They need to break up
the boulder.

Blaschke:
Hopefully we spotted it in time.

And it didn't rip
the belt in half.

We'll find out here shortly.
Yeah.

Ness: Nailed it.

Narrator: Rick has managed
to remove the broken tooth

On his excavator.

Ness: We got it.

Well,
digging out more bedrock,

It, you know,
it means more problems.

The fact that
I got that pissed off

Over something so stupid
like a broken tooth

Is a telltale sign
that I'm getting pretty tired.

Narrator: At the hopper feeder,
mitch and tyson

Are still clearing the rock.

Balion:
Big old chunk of bedrock.

Some of this bedrock,
it's really skinny.

But you know,
they're 2-feet long.

So they're just sliding
right through,

Getting wedged up
on the bottom of the feeder

And not coming out
the other end.

So hopefully,
we caught it in time.

We're gonna find out here.

Let's go ahead.

We'll take a good look
at the belt.

Let's cross our fingers
and hope it doesn't
got a big gash in it.

Narrator:
If the belt is torn,

It will take at least
half a day to replace,

And cost the crew
over $20,000 in lost gold.

Blaschke: Wait, wait.

Stop.

If that's all
it did to the belt,

We got really lucky.

We're ready
to fire the plant back up.

You know, this time of year,

Just a smallest little detail

Can shut
this whole operation down.

Something as simple as a rock
jammed up shuts us down.

That was a really close call.
I'm glad we caught it.

We just don't have any time
for repairs like that right now.

We need to keep
this plant running.

Narrator: After a long summer
working on the dredge,

The beets family gathers
for dinner

Before kevin
goes back to college.

1:30.

Monica: So you're working
the morning, right?

[ laughs ] you're funny.
[ chuckles ]

Yep. I'm not worried.

That's it.

End of the season.

Spinks: Okay, guys,
flash to load the dirt

Out of the roulette cut.

Hopefully it goes good.

Narrator: Andy spinks
has gone out on a limb

To mine the roulette cut.

He's banking on his new cut

Making up for the shortfall

The hoffman crew's
had the last two weeks

In the supercut.

Hiatt: Did you kill it?

Todd:
You can shut down right now.

We just ran the roulette cut.

And we're we're gonna
take a look at it.

If we don't have
gold in this cut,

We're pretty much screwed.

We got to hit this gold, man.

Narrator:
For this critical cleanup,

The entire hoffman crew
checks the mats.

Todd: I want some gold.

Pierce: Holy [bleep]

Hiatt:
Look down there.

I've never seen it look
so good in the middle.

Todd: Holy frick.

Look how deep that is.

Turin: Holy smokes.

Thurber:
Go through that gold room,

Put it on the table,
dry it, weigh it,

That's the truth.

-Here he comes.
-That looks like a load.

Narrator:
The hoffman's have to get
at least 200 ounces a week

To reach their
$3 million season goal.

Jack: Well, I did,
basically, two cleanups.

I did the supercut.
-Yeah?

That's 62.

-Oh, that's terrible.
-That's horrible.

Jack: But roulette cut...

172.

Todd:
What's the verdict?

234.

-Nice.
-All right.

-That's our goal.
-Hey, good job!

Awesome. It paid off.
[ laughing ] nice, buddy.

[ laughs ]
you made that call.

Wow.

Narrator:
The hoffman's two cleanups

Have produced
a total of 234 ounces,

Worth almost $260,000.

-That puts us over 2,000.
-Yeah.

-What is it?
-About 2,096.

-Yes!
-Yeah!

-Nice!
-Oh, wow.

Jack:
Okay, everybody, listen up.

This is the gold room.

We've got 2,096.

We broke 2,000.

Whoo!

That's a crazy amount
of gold.

Narrator: Andy's roulette cut
saved the day,

Bringing in an extra
172 ounces of gold.

For the first time
in three weeks,

The hoffmans not only met,
but beat their weekly goal.

It was a risk going down
to the roulette cut.

But you know what?
It panned out.

You know, when you're the boss
of an operation like this,

Your job is to limit the amount
of variables there are.

That plant and the ground
and everything --

Just so many variables.

And...[chuckles]

...There has been a lot of risk
in this last few months

So...[ sighs ]

...Hopefully it pays off.

Narrator:
Parker made the bold decision

To pre-pay royalties
on a 3,000-ounce season.

To help get the 1,200 ounces
he still needs,

He's pushed his crew
to mine deeper into bedrock

Than ever before.

Schnabel: All right.
Well, let's weigh it up.

Ness:
Moment of truth.

Narrator: Parker has to get
at least 240 ounces of gold

Every week.

That's our first hundred
there.

That's 230.

That's 302.685.
Nice.

Good job, guys.
Over 300.

Dude, holy [bleep].
Amazing.

[ laughs ]

Wow. 300.

Narrator: 302 ounces
is worth over $330,000.

Wait,
we add that to our total...

We just broke 2,100.
Oh.

2,103.
That's damn good.

Narrator: This week's cleanup

Takes parker's total
to over $2.3 million.

For the first time
this season,

Parker has overtaken
todd hoffman

In the race to become
the next king of the klondike.

If that's todd hoffman's
helicopter right now,

He'll probably be able
to see that gold from there.

Ness:
Should we hold it up?

[ laughs ]
thanks, guys.

Yep.
Yeah.

Schnabel:
Guys may not be to happy

That I paid tony the royalty
up to 3,000 ounces,

And it does up the pressure,

But I know the gold's
in the ground.

And with cleanups like this...

...What is there to worry about?

Narrator:
On the next "gold rush"...

Blaschke: Holy [bleep]

I've never seen
one this destroyed.

I don't give a [bleep]

As far as I'm concerned
you'll both go home.

Turn the [bleep] things up.

This old machine wasn't designed
to run that fast.

[bleep] it's busted.

She's cracked in there
all the way through.

Jack:
The biggest cleanup ever.

[ cheers and applause ]

We're looking
at selling this property,

Conceivably,
your mine boss next year

Would be parker.
