There's a building in this area.

Apparently, there was
a recent break-in,

and they found evidence

of some people
doing some ceremonial stuff,

some dark rituals
in the building,

and we're actually being called,
literally,

to help out some people
that occupy the building.

Before we head
into the building,

I get a text from vincent lords,

who tipped us off
to this location.

He tells us it's critical

that this is demonic in nature?

This building,
which toils in the shadows

of salt lake city's
industrial district,

has housed many businesses

during its 120 years
of existence,

but it's the periods
in between when it sat vacant

and was overrun by the lost
souls of the physical world

that leads us to believe
this industrial building

is now host
to a long-gestating darkness,

which recently
has been resurrected

and is affecting those
whose livelihood depends on it.

where the remnants of this
mysterious ritual was discovered

and where others believe
the old-hag entity resides.

So I came down, and right here,
there was a pentagram

made out of stick

with some flowers
and things in it,

like, dried flowers,
and I don't know.

I just got a really bad vibe
about it,

and I just went,

Part of winter-solstice
tradition

is bringing nature inside.

It's the darkest day

Part of the sticks was a ritual
and also an offering

to try to summon whatever it is
that they're trying to summon.

It could be something nonhuman.

And the dark energy

unleashed from this
recent ritual

seems to have agitated a spirit

that's known to leave its mark

and this was in the morning.

This wasn't even at night.

I was standing here,
and right behind me,

but it was a woman's voice,

and it was out loud, audible.

I got a very clear image
in my head.

She sort of had longish hair
that was sort of,

wild and crazy.

Some believe the term old hag
refers to the spirit

of an evil witch

that is at unrest
and turns demonic,

then attacks the living
and feeds off their life force.

Two or three days later,
I was at my house,

and I'm by myself at my house.

And then all of a sudden,

I heard it again,
the voice, going

I'm pretty sure what happened
is it attached to me

and followed me home.

Is it possible
that when hraefn touched

and removed the ritual remnants,

that disturbance unleashed
this old hag upon him?

of evidence

With this frightening omen now
hanging over our investigation,

misty, a psychic medium,
shows aaron and billy a mirror,

which she claims the old hag
uses to cross

in between dimensions.

The mirrors in this room
are very intense given the hag.

There's a picture of her
that lives in this mirror.

That's where she lives.

Like, that's where
she comes out of.

She's terrifying. - Okay.

If she's not in here,
she's downstairs.

Misty now takes the guys
back down to the basement,

where she tells them the old hag
appears in more mirrors.

they have mirrors dangling
all over the ceiling,

and I saw her every time
that they would twist, her face,

and that freaked me out.

of her little vortex here.

I meet with
misty's friend maxine outside

because of how affected
she was from this experience.

that was called here.

a voice come through

which is impossible.

and it was separated.

spirits communicating.

They're speaking three
different times

So that's how you can tell
that this is a spirit.

The spirit voice

What's happening is, is that
this is sweeping so fast

that even if there was
any radio interference

coming through,

you wouldn't be able to hear it.

We're just using those
radio waves as a foundation

to tap into the voice
of the spirits,

and that is evidence.

What we have to
understand here is,

is that the history tells us

that this building
was documented to be abandoned

in a rough part of town
for many, many years.

During that time, they did
have a lot of problems

with the vagrants living here.

but above and beyond that,

the introduction
of the ritual downstairs

changes the whole dynamics
of this whole investigation.

I see this place as a box

that if you were to open the lid

and listen,
you'd hear a lot of screams.

You'd hear a lot of pain.

This is evidence
that there is spirits here.

The biggest question is,
are these spirits

that we just captured
going to help us,

or are they gonna go against us

during the investigation?

This is a dangerous building.

Multiple people have told us
about violent attachments

that are messing
with them psychologically,

and they are all describing
this old-hag entity,

But we also know that there are
multiple human spirits

in this building as well,

and because of the nature
of this building,

the hauntings, we are going
to have jay join us,

so we don't know
what's gonna happen

when we open ourselves up
to what's inside this building.

As we make our way
into this sinister building,

billy sets up an experiment
around a particular mirror

that was told to him is an
active portal for the old hag.

There's a picture of her
that was in this mirror.

So misty told us
that this mirror...

She's seen the old hag
in this mirror

and that it is a portal,
so I got thinking,

we have this meter here
that tests resistance,

continuity of electricity,
so what I want to do

is I put this metal screen
over the entire mirror

that's said to be a portal with
these little alligator clips

with these wires that are going
to connect to this device,

which I have right here
that's a continuity tester.

This device is so fine-tuned
for continuity,

we have to actually
zero this in.

Right now, it's perfectly...
It's right in the center,

so what this screen is gonna do

is if there's
any type of disturbance

in the electromagnetic field
of the surface of this mirror,

that needle is gonna move.

It's not affected by cellphones.

by electricity.

the continuity

I decide to have all of us

which is the exact location
where the pentagram

was discovered and disturbed.

this ritual illegally broke
into the building,

making us believe their
intentions for the conjuring

were more than likely negative.

This thing, it's famous.

It was invented by nikola tesla
back in 1891.

Basically, what it does, it's
a radio-frequency oscillator

that drives a resonant
transformer that actually

creates really high voltage
at a low current.

Basically, it makes
wireless electricity,

so it puts electricity
in the air, charges the air,

so the idea is that we're in
where the portal was opened up.

We're hoping, in a sense,
that this can charge

this whole area around
and reopen the portal

or whatever was here,

very close attention

to what happens here,

a second figure hovers
back over to the mirror,

and as it appears to pass
through it, the e-meter,

which is measuring
the electrical continuity

flowing through the metal mesh

stretched across the surface
of the mirror,

picks up a disturbance
at the same exact moment

this figure floats into it.

This is concrete,
scientific evidence

that the sls camera detected
a spirit passing through it.
