Hello! Where are you lot off to?

We’re spending the day with Grandad!

He’s giving us a magical
Christmassy Christmas!

Actually, Mrs. Chen and I are
doing something

Christmassy today too.

We’re collecting the
Pontypandy Christmas Tree!

The great big Christmas tree Dilys ordered

hasn’t turned up!

Or maybe we’re not...

ALL: Nooooooo!

I love the Pontypandy Christmas tree!

It’s always SOOO big!

What are we going to do?

Don’t worry, Mrs. Chen.

Sam’ll find a Christmas tree!

And it will be the THE
BIGGEST Christmas tree

Pontypandy has ever seen!

(GULP) Thank you for that, Elvis.

You’re welcome!

Ey up! There’s Trevor! Come on everybody!

Hurry up for your Christmas surprise!

And I’d better hurry up and find

’The biggest Christmas tree
Pontypandy has ever seen’.

We interrupt this broadcast to give you

an emergency weather warning.

Hey guys! Listen to this.

A severe snow storm is
heading towards Pontypandy

and the surrounding areas.

That doesn’t sound good.

I’ll call the weather station!

And I’ll call Sam.

I’ve called everywhere.

No one’s got any big Christmas trees left!

But the whole town is
depending on us, Sam!

What are we going to do?

Er... um...

(SAM’S PHONE RINGS)

Yes, Penny?

Sam! We’ve got a severe snow
storm heading our way.

Okay, call Moose and get him to check that

no one’s on the mountains.

I’m on my way back!

But, Sam, what about the tree?

We need to forget about the
tree for the moment, Mrs. Chen!

There’s a snow storm on the way.

I’d head home if I were you!

Okay dokey, Penny,

I’ll get my gear and get up there eh...

(DOG BARKS EXCITEDLY)

It’s very snowy...

Yayy! Really Christmassy!

So...

where’s our magical
Christmassy Christmas surprise?

Up there. Because today we are going on...

A magical sleigh ride!

ALL: Yeeeeaaaah!

(DOG BARKS)

Any luck so far, Moose?

Nothing so far, Penny...

But I’m gonna keep checking.

(OUT OF BREATH) Are.
We. Nearly. There. Yet?

The sleigh is just up on the next peak.

And it’s going to be magical
and Christmassy, Grandad?

Oh yes. You’re going to love it.

It’s the most marvelously
magnificent sleigh

that you will EVER, EVER see!

I wouldn’t exactly call that
"marvelously magnificent."

I would call it totally terrible.

Oh...

But I bet it goes fast. Right, Grandad?

It does!

You’ll soon be going so fast
you’ll feel like you’re flying!

So come on, jump in!

This doesn’t feel very Christmassy.

I’ve got a splinter in my bottom.

Hold tight everyone, here we go...

(WIND HOWLS)

Ooo that’s a strong wind.

I don’t like wind...

It looks like a snow storm’s coming.

Right, everyone out.

(WIND HOWLS)

Nipper! Come back!

We need to get back down the mountain...

But we can’t even see where we’re going!

(SHIVERS) And it’s getting really cold.

This is the worst
Christmassy Christmas Surprise

EVEEEEEER!

(DOG BARKS)

What the grizzlies?

Nipper!

When did that get here?

And where’s Gareth?

Come on, Nipper, we’d better
call Fireman Sam!

(ALARM BEEPS)

Gareth is missing on the
mountains, in the storm.

(ALARM BELL RINGS)

Gareth is missing on the mountains.

In the storm!

Gareth was with the children.

They must be up there too!

(ALARM SOUNDS)

We’d better take Saturn!

(SIREN BLARING)

The storm’s getting worse!

(TREE CRACKING)

Sam! Watch out!

How are we going to get to
the mountains now?

It’s too stormy for Tom’s helicopter.

I’m calling the station.

There’s only one thing strong
enough to move this tree...

(SIREN WAILS)

Will anyone find us, Grandad?

Don’t worry, James... I’m sure
we’ll be rescued soon...

(SIREN WAILS)

OK, Phoenix. You can do this...

(ENGINE REVS)

(BRIDGE CRACKLING)

Easy does it...

Rrrr!

(TIRES SCREECHING)

Come on, Phoenix. Let’s get out of here!

Stand by, everyone!

Hold it there, Penny.

Saturn’s ready to launch, Sam.

And I’m ready head into the mountains.

ELVIS: Come in, Sam.

Saturn has detected body heat
just ahead of you. Over.

Copy that, Elvis.

It’s Uncle Sam!

Come in, Elvis!

I found them. And I’m bringing them down.

Roger that, Sam! I’ll bring Saturn back!

I’m sorry, Sam.

I should have checked the
weather before heading off.

Yes, Gareth, you should.

Winter weather can be very dangerous -

especially in the mountains!

Well you can be sure I won’t do it again!

Going up into the mountains
was very brave, Sam.

You think that was brave, Elvis,

I still have to tell Mrs. Chen
we don’t have

a great big Christmas tree...
or maybe we do...

That really is the biggest Christmas Tree

Pontypandy has ever seen...

Well we can thank Penny for that.

She brought the fallen tree
down from the mountains...

She saved the day in more ways than one!

It’s a pity Grandad never got to give us

a magical Christmassy Christmas.

Ho! Ho! Ho! Merry Christmas everybody!

Oooo. Look! Santa sent a sleigh.
