- The tables were turned
when the singles
were finally given the power
to choose dates with the exes.
Let's get started
with choosing dates then.
- I'd like to take Nicole
out on a date tonight.
- Matt is so sexy.
I just want to eat him up.
- Nicole got her chance
with Matt,
but ended up heartbroken...
- Bro, she is crazy
as [bleep].
Let's keep it at that.
- When she found out
he played her.
- Actually try to let somebody
[bleep] in,
and you gonna [bleep] play me?
- Roxy picked Lucas, and they
took things to the next level.
- Go in there
and work your magic.
Lucas is a mother[bleep] MVP.
- Oh, well.
- You were just in there
with your boxers on
and Ashley was naked.
- I got a towel, and
I left the bathroom.
- Antonio suspected John
showered with his ex, Ashley,
overwhelming him with jealousy.
- I'm trying to understand
where you feel slighted at.
- Get the [bleep] out
my face, yo.
- He keeps looking stupid
'cause he keep doing things
that show,
"I'm not over Ashley."
- Despite having hooked up
with Roxy,
Lucas makes a move
on his ex, Brittney.
- Ay-yi-yi-yi-yi!
- 21 days,
one ultimate decision.
Can these exes break free
before they break down?
This is "Ex Isle."
- I hooked up with Lucas
last night.
It's just awkward.
I feel very awkward.
- Uncomfortable.
We defaulted back
to what we knew.
- Sounds good.
- It feels weird to do this now
when we already
went through, like,
all this therapy
and all these emotions.
I hooked up with Lucas
because I was vulnerable.
I'm not really sure
how I felt about Blake.
Comfort is really
what it comes down to.
I think we should not
say anything to anyone.
- Yeah, I agree.
- It's not...it's not
a big deal, so it's...
- Yeah, no, I agree with that.
- And it's not something
that happens, and I just
think that you already
have laid the foundation
for certain things,
and I am just, you know,
being weird with a lot
of people, and I...
- Yeah, no, I think it
was out of character.
- It was.
- I think there's been
kind of a confused
understanding
of where we're at.
There's definitely feelings
there, like, that we have,
but at the same time, you know,
I've been talking to Roxy.
- It was a one-off,
random snuggle.
- That's...that's that.
- That's that.
- Yeah.
- I don't think
it's a big deal at all.
- Yeah.
[both chuckle]
- Okay, and break.
- And break.
- No more snuggling.
- Morning, Nicole.
- Morning.
- How you doing?
- I'm good.
How are you?
- How'd you sleep?
- So, so.
- "Sexiled?"
- I really wanted
to go to sleep,
and they were, like,
making out on the bed
and all the lights
were off.
I was like,
"This is awkward."
I was just like,
"Uh, sorry, guys,
"I'm just here
to get my blanket.
I don't want to
see anything."
- Yeah.
- It's hard when your ex is
in the bed right there.
Even if it's for
a minute, you know?
I'm like, I don't have
a problem with it at all.
I just, I'm, like...
- You don't want to be there.
- I don't want to hear it.
- Don't want it in your face.
- Yeah.
- Yeah.
- I understand.
- Completely agree.
- I have to tell you
something.
- Mm-hmm?
- And it's awkward
and I'm mortified,
and I wouldn't
even tell anyone,
but you're my best friend
and I want you to know.
So, like, seriously,
like, not a word.
- Okay.
- Yeah, and I don't know why.
For no reason whatsoever at all.
You know me.
I've talked to you.
There was no need for it.
- I am completely
taken aback by that.
Brittney and Blake
are a great match.
- I wasn't expecting to have
so much fun with you.
- They just clicked.
They were both awkward together.
- I was, like, not ready
to make out with Blake.
I just wasn't.
[Blake groaning]
I mean, I know it's
just hanging out.
It's whatever, but I
just wasn't ready.
Like, now I'm ready
to kill myself.
[lively music]
- I think we're all having a big
therapy session today,
by the way.
- You think that's
what that is?
- Are you worried, Drea?
- No, I'm good.
- Oh, don't want to get
to the real stuff.
- Hey, everyone.
Come on and join me
over here.
Come on, guys!
Head on over.
- We're chilling out but
then here comes Captain Carmen
and Dr. Ish, and apparently
we are going to have a session
including the singles
with Dr. Ish.
We need to throw
some of the singles
to the Ish monster ASAP.
- It's good to see you
this morning.
all:
Hey!
- Did you have fun at the club?
- Yes, yes!
- Yeah.
- Whoo!
- It was great.
- You guys are a lot
to keep up with.
- You're all playing the field,
and that's good.
The goal is to get
to know the singles.
But at some point,
they actually need to know
whether you're
available or not.
This exercise
is called,
Over It, Not Over It,
and it's designed
to help everybody here
get on the same page.
- I have paddles for each
and every one of you.
One side says "Over It"
and the other side
says "Not Over It."
Each ex is gonna stand up here
and tell us if they're
over their ex or not.
Then all of you are gonna
hold up your paddles
and say what you think.
Are they really
over it or not?
- It's important
that the exes
and the singles
hear this in a group.
Carmen, I'm gonna
leave this up to you.
- Okay.
- Just remember
one thing, guys.
Be honest.
- Hmm.
- See y'all later.
- Bye.
- Carmen, good luck.
- Thank you.
Many of the exes have been
lying to themselves
about where they stand
in their relationships.
- [sighs]
- What they don't know
is that we've brought in
body language expert,
Dr. Lillian Glass,
to reveal the truth.
- Hi!
Oh, interesting observations.
- What do you see, Dr. Glass?
- Well, first of all,
I see a lot.
Look at how vulnerable
Brittney is.
Her hands are on her knees.
She's got her legs together.
We really see
how they're even
just interacting
by themselves.
- Mm-hmm.
This is gonna be fun.
- All right, guys,
let's start off
with an easy one.
Samantha.
Come on up.
Okay, Samantha, are you over
your ex, Sean, or not?
- I am not.
- Let's ask the group.
Do you think
Samantha's over it
or not over it?
Whoa.
- Sean and Samantha,
do they really have to get up?
They could just stay
in their seat.
Carmen could've pointed at them.
They could've held up
their sign at the same time,
"Not Over It,"
all right, next up.
- Okay, Sean.
Go ahead and have a seat.
- Thanks.
- Can we speed this along?
Can we hurry up, please?
- Antonio.
- [sighs]
- Come on, babe, don't worry.
Everyone just has opinions.
- Antonio doesn't
want to do this.
- Are you over your ex or not?
- Take your time.
Be honest with yourself.
- Take a minute.
- Um, I don't believe
Antonio's over Ashley.
Like the whole towel situation
with me, John, and Antonio.
- Ashley's taking a shower.
Ashley naked.
John goes in the room
with his boxers.
- But he literally went in there
for two seconds,
grabbed a towel, and came out.
There was a little jealousy
going on,
and that definitely
shows me that
Antonio's not over Ashley.
- Um, well, I have came
to a place in my heart,
you know, that yes,
I am over it.
- He can say all day
that he's over it,
but we can all see
that he's not over it.
- Why do you think
you're over your ex?
- Uh, well,
I deserve better.
Um, you know, I know
what my daughter deserve.
My ex is not that person
and the reason I get
so emotional sometime
because I don't
just look for me.
I look for her.
I want the best for my daughter.
- There's some ambivalence
'cause he's looking away,
puts his hands in his pocket.
If he was really over it...
- Uh-huh?
- He wouldn't be smiling.
- What do you guys all think?
Are you buying it?
A lot of Not Over Its.
Ashley,
you don't believe
he's over it.
- He knows the real me,
and I would be a good fit
for his daughter.
I think he just needs to
work on some things.
- We broke up probably what,
ten times in two years?
What happens to me,
you know, I know
it's gonna affect
my daughter,
and I don't want her
to be affected by that,
and that's where I'm at.
- I feel like Antonio's actions
doesn't say that he's over it.
He has ego issues, and he has
a problem of being honest.
- Ashley, it's your turn.
- Yay.
- There we go.
- Now look at how relaxed
her face is.
- Oh, Ashley, uh-huh.
- Ooh, she's gonna let it out.
- I think I'm definitely
100% confident
with this answer right here.
I just want a man.
A real man.
- Ooh.
- I just want somebody
who's honest
and can admit their mistakes,
and not blame hurt
on one particular person.
- Okay, let's see what
the group thinks.
- Whoa.
- Antonio!
- Antonio, let it go.
- Please.
- I feel that Ashley's
trying to convince people
that she's over it, but her
whole attitude right now
shows that she has feelings
still for me.
- So, John,
you came here with...
- Jaymie.
- What is he telling you,
Dr. Glass?
- He's holding on to himself.
He's trying to contain himself.
- Uh-huh.
- He's got a lot of anger,
but he's self-soothing.
- Are you over it
or not over it?
- I'm over it.
- So what do you guys think?
Is John over it
or not over it?
You're over it.
All right, great job.
Go have a seat.
- Thank you.
- Yes.
All right, Jaymie,
are you over it
or not over it?
- I am over it.
- Over it, baby.
- Uh-huh.
- She's straight.
She's confident looking.
- Mm-hmm.
- Smiling.
- He messed up pretty bad
with me.
He really tries to
be a better man now.
- Everyone here is saying
that you are over it.
John, do you agree?
- I do, and I support her
in every decision
that she makes now.
- All right, great.
Lucas, it is your turn
to tell us how you feel.
- You got it, Carmen.
Anything for you,
my sweet muffin cake.
[Carmen chuckles]
- I'm the only person
who knows about
Lucas hooking up with Brittney
last night.
So I don't know if they're
really over each other.
Nobody really knows the truth.
- I would have to say that
I am definitely over it.
- Why do you think
you're over it?
- We just didn't have
that kind of love,
deep-rooted connection.
- She is devastated.
That smile is not genuine.
It's the most sad smile.
- Interesting pick.
- Since you've been here,
you've made some connections.
Has that reinforced
your decision?
- Yeah, and I think
Brittney and I are
just good friends,
you know?
- I think Lucas is over it,
'cause when we're alone
and we're looking into
each other's eyes,
there's a really deep spark.
- So what do you guys think?
Is Lucas over it
or not over it?
- [hums doom melody]
- We've got one
not over it.
- Bring it on, Antonio.
- Lucas got mad
about Brittney's decision
to want to talk to Blake.
- Oh, wow.
- Sorry, what?
- Am I not being honest?
- Hold on, hold on, hold on.
- When everybody out dating.
- Antonio, Antonio,
are you nuts?
- Coming up, on "Ex Isle"...
Is there someone you're
gravitating toward?
- I guess Lucas.
- Uh-oh.
- Uh, what?
- You can't totally let go.
It's not normal.
- Is everyone taking
crazy pills here?
- You've been an absolute
[bleep].
- You know what,
I'm over this,
and I don't want to talk
to you ever again.
- Are you just
making stuff up right now?
[laughter]
- Am I not being honest?
- No, I'm just...
I'm trying to support
her decision and her growth.
- Antonio throws his sign up
saying Lucas
is not over Brittney.
[bleep] about to get crazy!
- Do I feel that some
guys that she chooses
and who she's with
aren't the best guys?
Yeah, 'cause we're friends,
and we support
each other's opinion.
- She's all over the place
emotionally.
You could tell by her facial expressions.
- Yep. Mm-hmm.
- That's not a decision
you're supporting
if you're mad about it, though.
- Sorry, what?
- Y'all laughing
about it, but hey...
- Can you...listen, listen...
- We laughing at Lucas.
- Yeah, because he trying
to make y'all laugh
to throw y'all off
the subject at hand.
- I'm not trying
to make you laugh.
I'm trying to be
honest with you.
This is me being serious.
- Oh, okay.
- I think he's stirring
the pot right now.
Are we gonna,
like, go back
and fall in love and say,
"Hey, let's do this thing."
That's what this sign means.
[laughter]
- You know, Lucas already
hooked up with two chicks.
I'm hoping he's over it
because,
you know, I definitely have
my eyes on Brittney.
She's definitely someone
I'm still looking to
learn more about.
- Well, thank you for sharing,
and head back to your seat.
He always wants a hug.
Come here, okay.
- Yeah.
- Oh, oh, baby, oh.
- Let go.
- Okay, stop touching me
and go sit down.
- What kind of an insensitive
guy is that?
- Wow, well, that's his pattern.
He's hooked up with
two different girls...
- Oh ...
- And he's been flirting
with Carmen since the day
she showed up.
- You know, that's
toxic behavior.
- That is, that is.
- That's a toxic behavior.
- Brittney, are you over it
or not over it?
- You know, I found out about
Lucas hooking up with Brittney
last night, but I'm not
going to say anything
because Brittney's my girl,
and I got her back.
- I came to this island
knowing I felt
comfortable enough
in our situation,
and I would be okay
with seeing him
with other people,
and I have seen him
move on a couple times.
Um, so yeah, I feel
we just have formed
a friendship.
- Dr. Glass, does she look like a woman
who's over it?
- Oh, no.
- Oh, no.
She's just mirroring
what he said,
She's just mirroring
what he said,
but, you know,
the putting the sign
back and forth,
touching her.
She's fidgeting.
She can't stop moving.
- I've really been able
to focus on myself.
Understanding some of the things
I do wrong in relationships.
Maybe I'm choosing people that
are emotionally unavailable.
- Sounds like you're
learning a lot.
- I am.
- She's showing so many
signals of deception.
- Okay, okay.
- The hair, the hand movement.
She's totally lying up there.
- Uh-huh.
- Is Brittney over it
or not over it?
- Aww, all that pink.
[Brittney squeals]
- Wait a minute, wait.
Is that...
- Whoa, he knows
she's not over it.
- I feel like it's kind of
on the fence,
and you might
still have a few,
I guess, feelings for Lucas.
I feel this way
because every time
Lucas was hooking up
with somebody,
Brittney got kind of jealous.
- Oh, [bleep].
There go round two.
[Brittney groaning]
- I want him to move on.
I want him to be happy
and I want to be happy,
and I know
that I cannot be happy
with Lucas, period.
- I didn't really feel like
talking about it in the group
and going there,
so I was like, you know,
just to save myself any
headache and heartache,
we'll just put "over it,"
but I don't think
she's fully over it,
neither her or Lucas.
- Next up, the one
and only Freddie.
Come on up and step
to your spot.
- Oh, dear.
- Okay, Freddie,
you came here with...
- The wonderful yet feisty
Nicole.
- He's kind of
very sure of himself.
When a man or a woman puts
their hands in back of them,
that means they're open.
They're ready to let it out.
- Are you over it
or not over it?
- After thinking I came to the
conclusion that I am over it.
- Was that a hard decision
for you, Freddie?
- I knew this a couple days ago.
- But you didn't know it
when you first got here.
What has really made you
feel like you're over it?
Is there someone you're
gravitating toward
that's been helping
you move on?
- The person I've been
gravitating towards,
I guess, would be Lucas.
[laughter]
- What?
Hu...what?
- Oh, no.
What's going on here?
- Yeah, Freddie and Lucas
have become fast pals.
- Oh, okay.
- Mm-hmm.
- They're not lovers
or anything?
- We don't think
that's going on.
- Okay.
- Mm-hmm.
- And what do you all think?
Is Freddie over it
or not over it?
- Uh, she's panicking.
- And look at that grin
on Lucas' face, uh-huh.
- That's called panicking.
She saw all the people
that were "not over it."
- Uh-huh.
- Uh-oh.
- From our understanding,
you guys were intimate
two weeks prior to coming here.
[laughter]
- Okay, that's interesting.
Maybe he's not over Nicole,
but I don't know.
- Who hasn't slept
with their ex?
- There's a difference.
A very distinct difference
between having sex
and making love.
- Yes.
- Okay.
Now she feels better.
- Uh-huh.
- See, she's touching
her heart.
Now he's happy.
- He's happy now.
- He's happy.
He goes, "Yeah, see,
I explained it."
Nicole, her shoulders are back.
- Okay.
- She's nodding.
She's got genuine facial ex...
She knows it's the
right decision.
She's ready to move on.
- Nicole, over it
or not over it?
All right, what
do you all think?
Hmm.
Freddie, you're Nicole's ex.
Do you think she's
not over you?
- No.
- No.
- If I really cared
for you like you think,
it would've killed me dead
to see you
giving your attention
and affection
to someone that's not me.
Everybody is open
to their opinion,
but I know me and my feelings.
- She will say what she wants,
but I know she probably still
feels some type of way about me,
'cause it's, like,
just a never-ending cycle.
- I feel like there
might be, like,
feelings there,
but she knows she
deserves better,
and I don't think she'll
ever go back to him.
- Dr. Glass, they are
going to flip out
when they see you walk
through that door tomorrow.
- Okay, I love it.
- Oh, yeah.
- All right, Nicole, well, you
can go on and have a seat.
- Thank you.
This exercise
was really helpful.
It really shines light on
who's being honest
and who's being fake.
Like, really seeing people
up there and, you know,
showing emotion and not just
joking around.
It's really good.
- How was that for you?
- Good.
- Great.
- You guys think it helped?
- Yes.
- Were you guys honest?
Since you were all so honest,
it's time for a little
confession of my own.
I've been watching with a
really good friend of mine,
Dr. Lillian Glass.
Dr. Glass is
a body language expert
to see just how honest
you really been being.
- Mm.
- That was good.
- And exes, meet me
tomorrow in my lounge...
And Dr. Glass will be
there to join us too.
We're gonna go over with you
some of the observations
she and I both made
during the exercise.
- Ugh.
- Oh, hell, no!
- Coming up, on "Ex Isle"...
- You were going through
every facial expression.
That's weird.
- I'm just waiting
for Dr. Glass to be like,
"What happened last night
when you were snuggling in bed?"
- Do you have any regrets
about anything you've done?
[Brittney groaning]
- How'd you feel about today?
- About the therapy session?
- Yeah, it wasn't so hard.
- All the other
therapy sessions
probably helped y'all
prepare for this
'cause that could've got
a lot more explosive.
- Margaritawille...ville.
- [chuckles] You okay?
Do you need to stop drinking?
- And you're already like...
- How are you?
- Good, how are you?
- Good.
- Yeah?
- Mm-hmm.
I've gotten to know a few girls
on the island,
and I think Margot's cute,
and I think she's a cool girl,
and she seems, like,
very nice and fun.
You know what,
I like you.
- Mm-hmm.
- I think you're good looking.
I think you're hot.
- Yeah.
- I'd like to get to know more.
You know what I mean, like...
- Yeah.
[Margot giggling]
- Hold on, let's...
let's walk over here.
- Okay.
- Are you okay?
Do you need to do
your tongue twisters?
- That...
- Do you need to roll your
tongue around your mouth?
- Yeah, you're
making me nervous.
- Lucas is one of the
naivest white boys I know.
He's been dating Roxy, but
now he is flirting with Margot.
It's a recipe for disaster.
[hums doom melody]
- Yeah, you're
making me nervous.
Now I'm starting to blush.
[Margot laughing]
- Oh, my God.
Really?
- It's huge.
Don't lie.
So I don't know what to do
in that situation.
- No, I get it.
- I have always been
interested in Lucas,
but obviously he has
a connection with Roxy,
so I can only drop my seeds
to let him know
that I'm interested,
but it's up to him to kind of
water the plant
and make that flourish.
You do you.
- Do you think
having a conversation
with Roxy is a smart idea?
- If you want to go talk
to her, of course.
Go ahead.
- After kind of this, like,
speed dating mentality,
I think I should tell Roxy
that this is what
I'm gonna do, you know?
I'm gonna have fun
and enjoy myself.
- Sure.
- In the back of my head,
I'm a little worried
that she's jealous.
I just wanted to be
honest with you.
- Yeah, be honest.
- Like, obviously, like, you aren't dumb.
I obviously kind of, like,
backed off a little bit.
You know, like, I feel like...
- Well, I did too.
I feel like you are here
for the same reason as me,
but we might be on
two different speeds.
Do things swim around in my head
when I'm not with him, sure.
'Cause I see him talking to
other girls and it's, like,
"What is his game?
What is he doing?"
But at the same time,
I don't own him.
I think we should just
roll with it, and don't...
- Well, that's what
I was saying.
- Are you saying you
just want to be friends?
- I'm saying taking it
step-by-step.
I guess that I don't
want to lead you on,
and I feel like that's why
I'm having this conversation.
- I do feel like Lucas
has the spark that I'm feeling,
but I'm at that stage in my life
where I don't want to
[bleep] around.
You need your freedom, right?
If you want to take Margot
on a date, do that.
- And that's what you think?
- Well, whatever you want.
- She's a nice girl.
- But you're only gonna
figure out this if you...
- Explore other options?
- Turn over those stones,
and I'm saying do it.
I'm trying to just
see it for what it is
and he's telling me,
"Let's take a step back,"
and what can I do?
If our connection's strong
enough, then he'll come back.
[reggae music]
- [snoring]
- Body language,
body language, body language.
- Are you ready for the,
um, therapy session today?
- No.
- [chuckles]
With the body language
expert?
- No.
- [laughing]
I'm ready for Dr. Glass
to speak.
I appreciate the truth.
A lot of people don't
appreciate the truth.
The truth is hard,
and it's ugly,
and it's terrible,
but it will make you free.
So today, I think this is
gonna be freaking hilarious
with the body language expert.
- Oh, yeah.
- She's gonna be going over...
and it's gonna...
- Lucas and I have been
sitting like this
on the couch for a while.
- I think it's gonna be
freaking hilarious.
Like, you could sit
with your arms crossed
but it's also
how you're doing it

like, not a word.
- Okay.
- Yeah, and I don't know why.
For no reason whatsoever at all.
You know me.
I've talked to you.
There was no need for it.
- I am completely
taken aback by that.
Brittney and Blake
are a great match.
- I wasn't expecting to have
so much fun with you.
- They just clicked.
They were both awkward together.
- I was, like, not ready
to make out with Blake.
I just wasn't.
[Blake groaning]
I mean, I know it's
just hanging out.
It's whatever, but I
just wasn't ready.
Like, now I'm ready
to kill myself.
[lively music]
- I think we're all having a big
therapy session today,
by the way.
- You think that's
what that is?
- Are you worried, Drea?
- No, I'm good.
- Oh, don't want to get
to the real stuff.
- Hey, everyone.
Come on and join me
over here.
Come on, guys!
Head on over.
- We're chilling out but
then here comes Captain Carmen
and Dr. Ish, and apparently
we are going to have a session
including the singles
with Dr. Ish.
We need to throw
some of the singles
to the Ish monster ASAP.
- It's good to see you
this morning.
all:
Hey!
- Did you have fun at the club?
- Yes, yes!
- Yeah.
- Whoo!
- It was great.
- You guys are a lot
to keep up with.
- You're all playing the field,
and that's good.
The goal is to get
to know the singles.
But at some point,
they actually need to know
whether you're
available or not.
This exercise
is called,
Over It, Not Over It,
and it's designed
to help everybody here
get on the same page.
- I have paddles for each
and every one of you.
One side says "Over It"
and the other side
says "Not Over It."
Each ex is gonna stand up here
and tell us if they're
over their ex or not.
Then all of you are gonna
hold up your paddles
and say what you think.
Are they really
over it or not?
- It's important
that the exes
and the singles
hear this in a group.
Carmen, I'm gonna
leave this up to you.
- Okay.
- Just remember
one thing, guys.
Be honest.
- Hmm.
- See y'all later.
- Bye.
- Carmen, good luck.
- Thank you.
Many of the exes have been
lying to themselves
about where they stand
in their relationships.
- [sighs]
- What they don't know
is that we've brought in
body language expert,
Dr. Lillian Glass,
to reveal the truth.
- Hi!
Oh, interesting observations.
- What do you see, Dr. Glass?
- Well, first of all,
I see a lot.
Look at how vulnerable
Brittney is.
Her hands are on her knees.
She's got her legs together.
We really see
how they're even
just interacting
by themselves.
- Mm-hmm.
This is gonna be fun.
- All right, guys,
let's start off
with an easy one.
Samantha.
Come on up.
Okay, Samantha, are you over
your ex, Sean, or not?
- I am not.
- Let's ask the group.
Do you think
Samantha's over it
or not over it?
Whoa.
- Sean and Samantha,
do they really have to get up?
They could just stay
in their seat.
Carmen could've pointed at them.
They could've held up
their sign at the same time,
"Not Over It,"
all right, next up.
- Okay, Sean.
Go ahead and have a seat.
- Thanks.
- Can we speed this along?
Can we hurry up, please?
- Antonio.
- [sighs]
- Come on, babe, don't worry.
Everyone just has opinions.
- Antonio doesn't
want to do this.
- Are you over your ex or not?
- Take your time.
Be honest with yourself.
- Take a minute.
- Um, I don't believe
Antonio's over Ashley.
Like the whole towel situation
with me, John, and Antonio.
- Ashley's taking a shower.
Ashley naked.
John goes in the room
with his boxers.
- But he literally went in there
for two seconds,
grabbed a towel, and came out.
There was a little jealousy
going on,
and that definitely
shows me that
Antonio's not over Ashley.
- Um, well, I have came
to a place in my heart,
you know, that yes,
I am over it.
- He can say all day
that he's over it,
but we can all see
that he's not over it.
- Why do you think
you're over your ex?
- Uh, well,
I deserve better.
Um, you know, I know
what my daughter deserve.
My ex is not that person
and the reason I get
so emotional sometime
because I don't
just look for me.
I look for her.
I want the best for my daughter.
- There's some ambivalence
'cause he's looking away,
puts his hands in his pocket.
If he was really over it...
- Uh-huh?
- He wouldn't be smiling.
- What do you guys all think?
Are you buying it?
A lot of Not Over Its.
Ashley,
you don't believe
he's over it.
- He knows the real me,
and I would be a good fit
for his daughter.
I think he just needs to
work on some things.
- We broke up probably what,
ten times in two years?
What happens to me,
you know, I know
it's gonna affect
my daughter,
and I don't want her
to be affected by that,
and that's where I'm at.
- I feel like Antonio's actions
doesn't say that he's over it.
He has ego issues, and he has
a problem of being honest.
- Ashley, it's your turn.
- Yay.
- There we go.
- Now look at how relaxed
her face is.
- Oh, Ashley, uh-huh.
- Ooh, she's gonna let it out.
- I think I'm definitely
100% confident
with this answer right here.
I just want a man.
A real man.
- Ooh.
- I just want somebody
who's honest
and can admit their mistakes,
and not blame hurt
on one particular person.
- Okay, let's see what
the group thinks.
- Whoa.
- Antonio!
- Antonio, let it go.
- Please.
- I feel that Ashley's
trying to convince people
that she's over it, but her
whole attitude right now
shows that she has feelings
still for me.
- So, John,
you came here with...
- Jaymie.
- What is he telling you,
Dr. Glass?
- He's holding on to himself.
He's trying to contain himself.
- Uh-huh.
- He's got a lot of anger,
but he's self-soothing.
- Are you over it
or not over it?
- I'm over it.
- So what do you guys think?
Is John over it
or not over it?
You're over it.
All right, great job.
Go have a seat.
- Thank you.
- Yes.
All right, Jaymie,
are you over it
or not over it?
- I am over it.
- Over it, baby.
- Uh-huh.
- She's straight.
She's confident looking.
- Mm-hmm.
- Smiling.
- He messed up pretty bad
with me.
He really tries to
be a better man now.
- Everyone here is saying
that you are over it.
John, do you agree?
- I do, and I support her
in every decision
that she makes now.
- All right, great.
Lucas, it is your turn
to tell us how you feel.
- You got it, Carmen.
Anything for you,
my sweet muffin cake.
[Carmen chuckles]
- I'm the only person
who knows about
Lucas hooking up with Brittney
last night.
So I don't know if they're
really over each other.
Nobody really knows the truth.
- I would have to say that
I am definitely over it.
- Why do you think
you're over it?
- We just didn't have
that kind of love,
deep-rooted connection.
- She is devastated.
That smile is not genuine.
It's the most sad smile.
- Interesting pick.
- Since you've been here,
you've made some connections.
Has that reinforced
your decision?
- Yeah, and I think
Brittney and I are
just good friends,
you know?
- I think Lucas is over it,
'cause when we're alone
and we're looking into
each other's eyes,
there's a really deep spark.
- So what do you guys think?
Is Lucas over it
or not over it?
- [hums doom melody]
- We've got one
not over it.
- Bring it on, Antonio.
- Lucas got mad
about Brittney's decision
to want to talk to Blake.
- Oh, wow.
- Sorry, what?
- Am I not being honest?
- Hold on, hold on, hold on.
- When everybody out dating.
- Antonio, Antonio,
are you nuts?
- Coming up, on "Ex Isle"...
Is there someone you're
gravitating toward?
- I guess Lucas.
- Uh-oh.
- Uh, what?
- You can't totally let go.
It's not normal.
- Is everyone taking
crazy pills here?
- You've been an absolute
[bleep].
- You know what,
I'm over this,
and I don't want to talk
to you ever again.
- Are you just
making stuff up right now?
[laughter]
- Am I not being honest?
- No, I'm just...
I'm trying to support
her decision and her growth.
- Antonio throws his sign up
saying Lucas
is not over Brittney.
[bleep] about to get crazy!
- Do I feel that some
guys that she chooses
and who she's with
aren't the best guys?
Yeah, 'cause we're friends,
and we support
each other's opinion.
- She's all over the place
emotionally.
You could tell by her facial expressions.
- Yep. Mm-hmm.
- That's not a decision
you're supporting
if you're mad about it, though.
- Sorry, what?
- Y'all laughing
about it, but hey...
- Can you...listen, listen...
- We laughing at Lucas.
- Yeah, because he trying
to make y'all laugh
to throw y'all off
the subject at hand.
- I'm not trying
to make you laugh.
I'm trying to be
honest with you.
This is me being serious.
- Oh, okay.
- I think he's stirring
the pot right now.
Are we gonna,
like, go back
and fall in love and say,
"Hey, let's do this thing."
That's what this sign means.
[laughter]
- You know, Lucas already
hooked up with two chicks.
I'm hoping he's over it
because,
you know, I definitely have
my eyes on Brittney.
She's definitely someone
I'm still looking to
learn more about.
- Well, thank you for sharing,
and head back to your seat.
He always wants a hug.
Come here, okay.
- Yeah.
- Oh, oh, baby, oh.
- Let go.
- Okay, stop touching me
and go sit down.
- What kind of an insensitive
guy is that?
- Wow, well, that's his pattern.
He's hooked up with
two different girls...
- Oh ...
- And he's been flirting
with Carmen since the day
she showed up.
- You know, that's
toxic behavior.
- That is, that is.
- That's a toxic behavior.
- Brittney, are you over it
or not over it?
- You know, I found out about
Lucas hooking up with Brittney
last night, but I'm not
going to say anything
because Brittney's my girl,
and I got her back.
- I came to this island
knowing I felt
comfortable enough
in our situation,
and I would be okay
with seeing him
with other people,
and I have seen him
move on a couple times.
Um, so yeah, I feel
we just have formed
a friendship.
- Dr. Glass, does she look like a woman
who's over it?
- Oh, no.
- Oh, no.
She's just mirroring
what he said,
She's just mirroring
what he said,
but, you know,
the putting the sign
back and forth,
touching her.
She's fidgeting.
She can't stop moving.
- I've really been able
to focus on myself.
Understanding some of the things
I do wrong in relationships.
Maybe I'm choosing people that
are emotionally unavailable.
- Sounds like you're
learning a lot.
- I am.
- She's showing so many
signals of deception.
- Okay, okay.
- The hair, the hand movement.
She's totally lying up there.
- Uh-huh.
- Is Brittney over it
or not over it?
- Aww, all that pink.
[Brittney squeals]
- Wait a minute, wait.
Is that...
- Whoa, he knows
she's not over it.
- I feel like it's kind of
on the fence,
and you might
still have a few,
I guess, feelings for Lucas.
I feel this way
because every time
Lucas was hooking up
with somebody,
Brittney got kind of jealous.
- Oh, [bleep].
There go round two.
[Brittney groaning]
- I want him to move on.
I want him to be happy
and I want to be happy,
and I know
that I cannot be happy
with Lucas, period.
- I didn't really feel like
talking about it in the group
and going there,
so I was like, you know,
just to save myself any
headache and heartache,
we'll just put "over it,"
but I don't think
she's fully over it,
neither her or Lucas.
- Next up, the one
and only Freddie.
Come on up and step
to your spot.
- Oh, dear.
- Okay, Freddie,
you came here with...
- The wonderful yet feisty
Nicole.
- He's kind of
very sure of himself.
When a man or a woman puts
their hands in back of them,
that means they're open.
They're ready to let it out.
- Are you over it
or not over it?
- After thinking I came to the
conclusion that I am over it.
- Was that a hard decision
for you, Freddie?
- I knew this a couple days ago.
- But you didn't know it
when you first got here.
What has really made you
feel like you're over it?
Is there someone you're
gravitating toward
that's been helping
you move on?
- The person I've been
gravitating towards,
I guess, would be Lucas.
[laughter]
- What?
Hu...what?
- Oh, no.
What's going on here?
- Yeah, Freddie and Lucas
have become fast pals.
- Oh, okay.
- Mm-hmm.
- They're not lovers
or anything?
- We don't think
that's going on.
- Okay.
- Mm-hmm.
- And what do you all think?
Is Freddie over it
or not over it?
- Uh, she's panicking.
- And look at that grin
on Lucas' face, uh-huh.
- That's called panicking.
She saw all the people
that were "not over it."
- Uh-huh.
- Uh-oh.
- From our understanding,
you guys were intimate
two weeks prior to coming here.
[laughter]
- Okay, that's interesting.
Maybe he's not over Nicole,
but I don't know.
- Who hasn't slept
with their ex?
- There's a difference.
A very distinct difference
between having sex
and making love.

She's got genuine facial ex...
She knows it's the
right decision.
She's ready to move on.
- Nicole, over it
or not over it?
All right, what
do you all think?
Hmm.
Freddie, you're Nicole's ex.
Do you think she's
not over you?

- If I really cared
for you like you think,
it would've killed me dead

- All right, Nicole, well, you
can go on and have a seat.

This exercise
was really helpful.
It really shines light on
who's being honest
and who's being fake.
Like, really seeing people
up there and, you know,
showing emotion and not just
joking around.
It's really good.
- How was that for you?
- Good.
- Great.
- You guys think it helped?
- Yes.
- Were you guys honest?
Since you were all so honest,
it's time for a little
confession of my own.
I've been watching with a
really good friend of mine,
Dr. Lillian Glass.
Dr. Glass is
a body language expert

you're saying it's over,
you're still holding on
to something
because you do have feelings
that are angry, and so
you can't totally let go.
- I have to,
I guess, convince myself that
I don't want to be
with her, but I do.
I have to accept that.
- It's okay.
- There's still
a connection there,
and Ashley doesn't want
that connection.
Is that right, Ashley?
- Yeah.
- And Ashley,
I was really impressed.
The way you stood up
body language-wise.
You spoke out.
You were genuine.
You were real.
- Big difference.
Everybody in the room
can see that difference.
- I'm so enraged with Antonio.
I can't give him
any more negative energy.
Like, I just wish
he'll just go away.
- Jaymie and John.
- Hey.
- Hello, hello, hello.
- One of the things
I noticed, John,
since you have a lot of
energy in you, and yet,
you took your hand and you
put it over your wrist.
You contained yourself...
- Mm-hmm.
- And I was impressed.
- Thank you.
- Jaymie, when you spoke,
you had a lot of confidence,
and that's what
I want to see you
come into your own more.
You need to have those
shoulders back.
Head up.
That is the Jaymie
that we need to see.
- Now Freddie.
- You are a star.
You were so real,
and so genuine,
and you talked about
your feelings
and everyone fell
in love with you.
From a body language
point of view,
stay the way you are.
Don't change.
- Mm-hmm.
- Now, Dr. Glass, if you'd
been here a few weeks ago,
there would've been a lot
to see from Nicole.
She's moving forward, but we
still got some work to do.
What have you seen
from her so far?
- There's some anger there.
When I heard you speaking
that you were over it,
there's a defensiveness
about you
that you've got to lose.
You don't need to have
that big personality.
Tone it down a little bit.
That loudness
turns people off.
- Yeah.
- Let me tell you why.
If I say... [shouting]
Hey, Nicole, how you doing?
Are you happy today?
Whoa...
Back off.
But if I say, "Hey,
how are you doing?"
You've got to modulate
your tone.
- I understand what...
Oh, I'm talking
loud again, right?
- You know what, your
voice is very hoarse.
- Nicole's raspy voice
sounds like Yoda.
[uttering gibberish]
- Let's take a breath
in through your mouth
and go, "Ha."
- Ha.
- Now, "Hello, how are you?"
- Hello, how are you?
- That's much better.
- So this is me
trying to talk normal,
and, um, I sound like
"1-800-Call-Nicole if you
really want to get down."
- You've got to modulate
your tone,
and the more real you get,
the more the world
opens up to you.
- After listening to her,
I was like,
"Okay, maybe I can tone it down
and soften it a little more.
Sound more girlie."
- A lot of you may not
have actually realized
how dishonest and "dis-genuine"
you were being
even with yourselves.
Good work today, guys.
Dr. Glass, thank you so much
for coming to help us out.
See you guys later.
- Dr. Glass is the best
in her field,
so what she says has merit.
I think Lucas is coming off
cocky and obnoxious.
I am perhaps coming off
crazy and "weird."
So that in itself
was, like, helpful.
Even though it's hard
and annoying to hear.
- Free at last!
God Almighty,
I'm free at last!
- So nice in here right now.
- Yeah, I love it.
- Jump in.
- Jump it.
- So what are you thinking?
- Me?
- Yeah.
- Ooh.
- After I told Lucas
I was upset,
after he apologized,
all of a sudden he goes
back to him and Margot.
It's in my face.
They're flirting,
and they're really close.
No girl wants to see this.
- I did give him
the green light last night,
which I thought
I would be totally fine with,
but then they put it in my face
and it was just like
they didn't give a [bleep].
- What's your favorite thing
to do?
- Oh, my God.
When I try and connect
with Lucas,
if me and him are by ourselves,
we can connect
but as soon as Roxy
comes in it's like,
"I need to move!"
Like, and then I'm like,
"Well, okay."
- Today I witnessed
the lack of respect
towards me,
who you say you like.
Being all over Margot
in the pool.
I just felt like
out of respect
you probably should've
saved the flirting
and spending time with her
for a private date.
- I'm just trying to, like,
talk to Margot a little bit.
Like, I'm not, like,
doing anything with her.
I barely even touched her.
- I just felt it was
a lack of respect.
You guys spent a lot of time
in the pool together.
I wouldn't do that
to somebody I liked,
and I'm trying to give you
your space,
but I'm just a little hurt
and I guess you can
kind of go there with her
full-time now, 'cause I think
I've made my mind up.
I don't want
to continue this.
It's just dumb.
- Nah, I mean, if that's how
you feel, then that's fine.
- It is.
- But I didn't think
I was doing anything
that was, like, that intense.
I was just trying to talk to
her and get to know her.
She says one thing
and means another.
What happened
to our conversation
that we had last night?
- You need your
freedom, right?
I you want to take Margot
on a date, do that.
You know what?
This is too intense
and I'm just...
I just want to focus on
friendships here now, and...
- Fine, that's
what I'm doing.
- Great, cool.
- I think they're breaking up.
- He needs to [bleep]
figure his [bleep] out.
He's driving me nuts.
- I thought he wanted to go
on a date with
somebody else?
- Margot, which I
originally said
for him to do, and I'm excited
that he's exploring,
but I feel for Roxy now.
- Honestly, I just don't know.
I'm more confused now than
I've ever been in my life.
- Peace out.
It's...I just don't feel it.
It's done.
- Roxy is a good, like, Roxy...
- She's a good girl.
- We were talking last night
and she...
- She's smart.
- And I'm just like...
- Are you practicing your
voice changing tones?
- I don't know.
- You sound less raspy.
- Do I?
- I like your rasp.
- All right, I'm glad
we had this talk.
Unfortunately, it's just
the way it's gone, so...
- I mean, all right.
- Dude, there's no way in hell
you're gonna treat me like this.
That's it.
I can't do it anymore.
It's just too much.
Have a good week.
- I will have the best
week ever, I'm sure.
- Coming up, on "Ex Isle"...
- She doesn't mean
what she says half the time!
- God, Almighty.
- I already knew you were
in Nicole's room.
- What the [bleep]
are you jealous of?
- I didn't do anything.
I didn't walk away.
I didn't come out of
someone's room yelling at you.
- I don't give a [bleep].
- See how I can be.
- Yeah, you're a [bleep]
dirtbag, bro.
- Keep calling me names.
- Kill yourself.
- [whistles]
- What just happened?
- Can I have some more?
[gasps]
- Why are you so solo now,
because Lucas was a [bleep]?
- You see how he is?
- Yeah, I do.
- Trust me, I get it.
- You don't like it?
- No.
- I feel bad for Roxy.
I think Lucas has always been
pretty noncommittal,
but it's just a mess.
It's weird, you know?
- I'm solo now.
- Just a little uneasy.
- Yeah, I'd just
leave that alone.
[John grunting]
- Got to tame him a little bit.
- We could do push-ups.
- You don't want
to do push-ups
with me right now.
I might push you
into [bleep] outer space
like you on the episode
of the "The Jetsons."
- What?
- Wait, hold on.
- That sound a little
violent, John.
- It's just, uh, we're
on different speeds,
different lanes.
I'm in a Ferrari
and she in one of them
slow-ass-moving vehicles.
You know what I'm saying?
[Jaymie laughing]
- "I'm a Ferrari."
- "She's something slow."
- I just did 100 push-ups
and she couldn't keep up
with that, so, you know.
[both laughing]
- I am so glad John is not
my problem right now,
and James is hilarious.
- "I'm gonna take you
into the kitchen
where we have mad protein."
[both laughing]
- Stop it.
- Let me tell you
what we discussed.
She's like, "Look, Lucas,
"you're free to do
whatever you want to do
while we're on this island."
She was completely understanding
and cool about it.
- Lucas, what did I tell you?
- Come on, Lucas.
- She said she's okay,
but what'd I tell you
in the kitchen?
- What did I tell you
over there?
- What am I telling you
right now?
- She doesn't mean
what she says half the time!
So why don't we just
vote her into presidency?
- Are you [bleep] nuts?
Are you crazy?
Is everyone taking
crazy pills here?
- Boy, Lucas, Lucas, Lucas!
Shut up!
- That is the deal.
You are nuts!
- God, Almighty.
- As long as you're straightforward
with your feelings
and who you are
and what you feel,
what you think.
I'm straightforward.
I'm straight shooting,
and that's what I believe in.
And if someone isn't like that,
then I'm sorry.
- Lucas, can we end
this conversation?
'Cause it's really
[bleep] embarrassing.
What I've heard is really,
really below the belt.
- Lucas, he's looking like
an [bleep] right now.
- You've been an absolute
[bleep].
You've had your
20 minutes of fame.
The Lucas Show,
but that was uncalled for.
For me to...you see me
sitting over there.
That's like being
in high school.
And that's not cool.
- No, you know what's being
high school is
you being immature
about the situation
that happened today
and you being the girl
that's completely
throwing me under the bus.
Congratulations.
You won.
- How did I win?
- And you made me
feel like [bleep].
- Dude, like, you
hooked up with her
and now you're, like,
talking smack about her.
I feel like Lucas
is digging his own grave.
- I felt like [bleep]
all day and night
because you sat beside
Margot in front of me
even though I told you
I was upset.
Unfortunately, I have
feelings for this idiot.
When he's drunk he becomes
a different person.
You couldn't just wait?
You couldn't just say...
You could've just...
- What?
The waiting process
was supposed to be like
you do your thing,
I do my thing,
and let's see what happens.
- Need to go to bed.
I'ma walk you out.
- You're putting me to bed?
- Me and Jaymie
definitely have fun.
Me and her just have,
like, a good connection.
I just like her personality.
It seems like she's just
genuinely a good person.
Ugh, I want to hang out.
- Oh, no.
Uh-oh.
- It's just a respect thing.
You couldn't have just sat over
the other side of the couch?
But you had to rub it
in my face even more.
Do you get that?
- You completely dishonored
what we discussed about
and what you actually believed
and what you actually thought.
You completely went
against that.
She wants something,
and then all of a sudden,
like, she wants something else.
It's driving me insane.
I'm a free man,
as you said before,
and you said,
"Hey, go talk to other people.
Go do your thing,"
and I was doing my own thing.
- Getting alone time
with James is great.
It feels amazing with him.
It feels amazing
to finally be able to
let somebody in again.
I can't remember the last time
I have felt like this.
- Obviously, whatever we had
here on the island,
isn't working.
- Congratulations
on your success.
Making me look like
a huge piece of [bleep].
- I don't even know
how to handle this.
It's emotional.
It's testing me.
It's challenging me.
I just can't deal with it
anymore.
It's, like, I'm just...I'm done.
- You're upset about...
- Can you just calm down, and...
- I'm not calming down.
- Can we talk tomorrow?
- You know what,
I'm over this.
The door is closed,
and I don't want to talk to you
ever again.
- [yawning]
- Boom.
- Lucas.
- Beer me.
Getting my day started.
Wake up this morning
feeling good.
You know, I feel like
Samantha and I
have been making huge progress.
Hey, it's booze time.
Let's get drunk at 9:00 a.m.
- Chug it.
Chug, chug, chug, chug, chug.
- When I see Sean start having
a beer at breakfast,
at 9:00 in the morning,
that makes me worried.
I feel like Sean and I
are doing a lot better,
but alcohol's always been
the huge problem
in our relationship.
- Remember, Sean, any time
you grab a drink,
always grab me one too.
[laughter]
- That's usually when things get
really explosive
and out of control.
It's making me on edge.
[Samantha scoffs]
- What's up, bro?
- Nicole, I'm glad
you're in here.
Dr. Ish has been saying that
I need to be more social,
and talk to other people here
so I'm gonna drop in on
and, you know,
say, "Hi, what's up?" to Nicole.
- A beer goes a long way.
- Well, here's the thing.
I got your back.
Who do you think would be
best for you?
- I still want to
get to know Josh.
- I feel like that's
gonna work for you.
Nicole's made such progress.
I just want to see her
have that confidence
to go get what she wants.
- You got my back?
- Yeah, I do got you.
- Thank you.
- I do got you.
- I trust you.
Look at that sweet ass!
Tell Sammy she needs
to tap that tonight.
- Sammy, you need to tap
this [bleep] tonight!
Oh, look, she hates me
now, okay.
- I do not.
- I got other [bleep]
going on, buddy.
- Clearly, you do.
- "Clearly, you do"?
Like, what does that mean?
When you said that?
- You said you have other...
you're doing something...
Whatever you said.
- Just let me know,
'cause I got other
[bleep] to do, like...
- Are you guys fighting?
- Let me know what's going on.
- Like what?
What do you have other...
- No, you let me know.
"Clearly, you do," you know?
- Yeah, [bleep] what
did you just said.
"I have other
things to do."
- I feel bad for Samantha,
like, even though
they're maybe one
of the more toxic couples,
and unfortunately,
they're the only ones
trying to, like, work it out.
- All righty, then.
- It's just bad.
- No, what are they?
- Who's talking right now?
Not me.
I walked out of Nicole's room
obviously relaxing.
I'm just making a joke
to Samantha,
but she gets jealous.
- Are you okay?
- I'm great.
- I'm gonna go back out front.
The first night,
alcohol was a huge problem.
- You want to watch me
stomp somebody out, bro?
- Fight, fight!
- Say one [bleep] thing,
you [bleep] dirtbag.
- This is exactly
what I was worried about
happening in the morning.
- What's going on?
Tell me everything.
- I sometimes feel like
he'll say things
to make me feel insecure.
- Hi, gals.
- How are you?
- I got to confess my love
to the lady that I do love.
I feel like she's feeling
a little insecure,
but I'm here
to let her know
that I only have eyes for you,
and I love you very much.
- Okay, and I love
you very much.
Honestly, I already knew
you were in Nicole's room.
- What? What the [bleep]
are you jealous of?
- I'm not worried
about Nicole.
- You can't buy that
[bleep], bro.
- I didn't do anything.
I didn't walk away.
I didn't come out of someone's
room yelling at you.
- I don't give a [bleep].
Watch my ass when I walk away.
- Ugh.
- Ugh.
I don't give a [bleep].
- Thank you for coming
and putting on a scene.
- Yep, I came over here
and [bleep] try to
bring it to you,
and all you're doing
is deflecting.
- I...how am I deflecting?
- Get the [bleep]
out of my face.
- For you to walk away and
say go see how I can be.
- Yeah, you're a
[bleep] dirtbag, bro.
- Keep calling me names.
- All right, kill yourself.
- See?
- What just happened?
- And "go kill yourself"?
Is that what he just said?
- Next time, on "Ex Isle"...
- Today's gonna be a little bit
like summer school.
This actually may be
the hardest yet.
You are not allowed to speak.
- Look, I'm [bleep]
shaking right now.
I'm thinking my ex-wife's
in the building.
I'm freaking out.
[yelling]
- Everything you've said
so far has been a lie.
- Do you want to talk
to me or not?
- Obviously.
- Yes or no, bro?
- It doesn't matter now.
- I just can't deal with it
anymore.
I have to take control
of my own life.
I don't want to be here.
