- Previously on "Ex Isle"...
with sexy new singles,
the island heated up.
- I am so happy,
'cause it's new faces,
and I have a new attitude
on moving forward.
- Lucas made the first
island hookup,
leaving Brittney
feeling burned.
- Like, am I crazy
for being pissed?
- I mean, I personally think
she's jealous,
but at this point,
I could care less.
- Hey, everybody.
Dr. Ish pushed the exes
to break their old ties.
- Each of you
are gonna have a chance
to go on dates with one of
the new roommates.
- Hey, I like dates.
- All right.
- Connections were made.
- Look at that.
Now, that's for you.
- I feel like we're gonna get
closer and closer.
- Freddie, focus.
- But Sean was still stuck
on Samantha and lashed out.
- Sean, do not walk away.
- Why am I here?
- How could you not get that?
- I'm not over Samantha,
so now why would I go on a date?
I can't talk about it.
I can't talk about it.
- 21 days,
1 ultimate decision.
Can these exes break free
before they break down?
This is "Ex Isle."
- So this is really
[bleep] intense for me, okay?
And I just don't see how this
is working out for me.
Earlier, Samantha and I went on
the date with the singles.
I mean, like, I was open,
but once I got to the date,
it was a little different,
and I learned, like,
I'm not over Samantha.
- Listen to me.
I have no doubt
that you love this woman.
- Yeah.
- And, Samantha, I have no doubt
that you adore Sean.
When you look at him,
that is all I see in your eyes,
is adoration.
But I wish that you both
could be whole first,
so you could give each other
the love you deserve,
and you're just not there.
And we can get you there,
but you've got to walk this line
with us.
So what if we map out a plan
for the two of you?
- I would appreciate it.
- Part of this plan
is interacting
with other people,
okay?
- All right.
- You understand?
- Yeah.
- This is uncomfortable for you,
because you're growing now.
But if you stop now,
you're gonna go right back
to square one.
Fight through it,
you know?
- [sighs]
[upbeat acoustic guitar music]
- I want to mingle and talk.
I just want to do the exercises
with you, because...
- No, yeah, yeah.
- You know,
that's the only difference.
I was really upset last night,
but I'm trying to be open-minded
about everything,
so I'm interested to see
what Dr. Ish is gonna cook up
for us today.
- How was your date?
- It was fine.
- Besides hurting a man's ego,
yeah, it was good.
- I wasn't being mean.
I was being honest.
- I don't know.
I thought he was cute.
- Wait,
who had no steady income?
- Matt.
- That mother[bleep] homeless.
[laughter]
- You had a good date?
- My date was really good.
- You were with Josh,
right?
- He is so smart.
- Smarter than Lucas?
- Instigating.
- Don't ask Brittney
that question.
She's obviously
just gonna be like,
"Yeah, of course he's smarter,
better-looking..."
"Taller, more attractive,
doesn't argue as much,
loves to get nagged."
- He texts me, like,
100 times a day.
There's all these new people
coming in
and living with us.
I think we're all feeling
maybe a little territorial,
and all of a sudden,
the whole dynamic of this house
wouldn't be the same.
We're all feeling a little bit
of the weight of that.
- Aren't we supposed to be ready
in, like, 20 minutes?
- 20 minutes.
- Hey, everyone,
having a great time.
By the way,
you're still [bleep] up.
[laughter]
- Good afternoon,
everybody.
Although you're still a group,
as of today, this is not longer
a group exercise.
This is individual.
This is personal.
Each of these hearts
represents a state
that everybody's heart
in this room
is currently in.
Each of you will come up here
and choose the heart
that you feel represents
exactly where you are.
You will literally put
this heart on your sleeve
for all to see.
- I am actually really liking
this exercise.
I feel like it's a chance
to evaluate where we are.
- Let's start with Sean
and Samantha.
All right, Sean,
which heart did you pick?
- So I picked the heart
that needs to be mended,
because I feel like I have gone
through a complete broken heart.
I have been guarded.
This represents to me
that I'm in a place
where I'm doing personal growth,
but it still needs
to be healed.
- Samantha, do you agree
with his choice of hearts?
- Yes, I do.
- You agree, okay.
- I do feel like
he's kind of working
to make things better.
I think he's kind of got
a little Band-Aid on it,
just for the comfort.
- A little one,
or a big one?
- A pretty big one.
- Okay.
Samantha,
what did you pull out?
- I pulled out the broken one.
- The broken heart.
- Mm-hmm.
- Okay.
- I think we have kind of beat
each other down emotionally.
And that is heartbreaking.
We've opened up all our wounds.
I feel like we've ripped off
all the Band-Aids.
- What do you think about
her choice in heart, Sean?
- I understand what she's saying
as far as, like,
it being broken and being hurt,
and I just feel like it's a...
like it's a miscommunication
between us.
- First thing to communication,
guys,
is validating
what the other one said,
so she's saying, "Listen,
my heart feels broken."
That's not miscommunication.
That is very open and honest
communication.
So I want you to validate that
and say...
look at her and say,
"I hear you."
- I understand that your heart
is broken, you know,
and I know I've had a lot
to do with that,
and I'm sorry.
- That is the first big step
to communication.
You two seriously,
literally need to stop
hurting each other
and start listening
to each other.
Next up,
Jaymie and John.
Jaymie, let's see the heart
you chose.
- Guarded.
- Guarded.
Why did you pick that?
- I'm so guarded,
I don't even try.
I don't even want to try.
After what I went through
with John,
it's extremely hard for me
to date now.
It's extremely hard for me
to believe anything
that anybody tells me.
- What's the scariest part about
actually getting out there
and trying again,
Jaymie?
- Um...
I guess getting hurt,
making sacrifices,
and not getting them
in return.
- Like you weren't enough.
- Mm-hmm.
- What else is scary about it?
- Yeah, I mean, I guess
that's the scariest part is,
you know, going from where
I've built myself up to
to thinking somebody's
better than me again.
- You've got to allow yourself
to actually be happy.
You've got to know
that you deserve that.
And I think that's the biggest
thing holding you back.
- Yeah.
- On some level,
you don't really feel like
you deserve it.
Is that right?
- Yeah.
- John, you're up.
- I have a broken heart.
- Tell me about the past
and why you think you have that.
- [exhales]
- You can do this.
- Um...
I don't know.
I don't even know how to start.
I don't even know how
to explain it.
My heart is pretty much broken,
because...
I once in my life gave 100%
to somebody else,
and...
it didn't work out.
I have underlying issues
with my ex-wife.
I wanted to be with her
for the rest of my life
and have a family with her,
because I felt like
she completed me.
But I guess I was wrong.
Tell you the truth,
I don't ever think
I'll ever be over it.
I gave so much of myself
to one person
only to be [bleep] on.
A lot of that anger came off
from my ex-wife,
and that's why I think
I did everything
that I did to Jaymie.
I kind of let her down.
- You've got to admit it
to get over it, my friend.
- I just need a minute.
[sobbing]
- Guys, stay put.
I'm just gonna go check on him.
I'll be right back.
- John, he's just having
an internal battle with himself.
Like, I'm feeling for him
at this point.
Like, I can get into his shoes
so much
that it makes me want to cry
for him.
- [sobbing]
- You're doing good.
This is exactly what you need
to be doing.
Look, you've got years of it
to get out, right?
Right?
Come here.
You stay out here as long
as you need to, man.
You've got to let it out.
That's right.
You've got to let it out.
- [sobbing]
- Let it go.
Once you let it go,
you never have to feel it again.
- Coming up on "Ex Isle"...
- Lucas, you want to be
my date tonight?
- I...
- I wasn't expecting that
right there.
- Um, um...
- What about you,
Brittney?
You would say that both of you
are totally over each other?
- I'm actually glad that he's...
I think...
you know...
say again.
- We know.
We know.
- This just not who I am.
I don't like feeling like this.
- This is slaying your dragon,
man.
From today forward, you never
have to tell that story again.
You are still here,
still fighting.
But you've got to feel it
in order to come back from it.
It takes guts to let it out,
brother.
I want you to take as much time
as you need.
I'm really proud of you.
- I never really had
a father figure,
and for the first time
in my life,
I definitely felt like
a real man had my back,
and to hear him say
he was proud of me,
it was great.
- So intense.
- Damn, man.
I want to change my heart.
[bleep].
- Wait,
you and Freddie B kissed?
- What?
- Oh, yeah.
- Oh...oh, my God, Matt.
- With so much tongue too.
- Oh, my God.
- What?
- Wait, there was tongue?
- There was a lot of tongue.
- There was no tongue.
- I was watching it.
- Josh, no.
- I was watching it.
- Wait a minute.
- [laughs]
Stop it.
There was no tongue.
- I'm, like...
- Yeah, we have fun too, yeah.
Look at that.
Now, that's for you.
Aww.
She's fun.
She's fun.
- There's the person you meet
on your date,
and then there's the person
you hear about.
Yeah, like, great here,
but I would never date somebody
who would do that,
that, and that.
- Here you're like,
"I'm gonna go talk to your ex
in five minutes."
- But at the same time,
you can't take everything
they say at face value,
because it's so toxic.
Everything between them
was so toxic.
I thought I was gonna be
with singles,
but I feel like I'm in
divorce court right now.
You guys have Dr. Ish's number?
'Cause I need to talk.
I mean, they're all
relatively nice people,
you know,
for the most part...
- But they have...they're all
having counseling right now.
- But they're all delusional
as [bleep] too.
- Whew.
- John,
welcome back.
- I feel really bad for John.
I think that he broke down,
because he was really,
really affected by this
past relationship that lasted
for 15 years,
where he got married
and all this stuff.
And he lost it.
- Come on in.
Take your seat.
I'm glad you're able
to hang in there with us
for the rest of the way.
And, guys,
John is fighting
tooth and nail.
We're gonna work on getting you
from that broken heart
to the healing heart.
That's my promise to you.
- Okay.
- Let's take his lead.
Let's move forward.
Antonio,
pull out your heart.
- I picked open.
- I do not agree with open.
I think it's actually broken.
And I see a lot of people
in this room shaking their head.
- Oh, wow.
[laughs]
Wow.
Um...
I still have a little hurt.
Having that closure
doesn't mean that,
you know,
you're still not hurting.
I want to move on,
but not right now.
When I look at everything
with me and Ashley's
relationship,
I knew right then and there
that heart that I needed
was a broken heart.
Even though my heart
is hurting,
I can finally move on now.
- Ashley.
- Mm-hmm.
I chose this one.
- Guarded.
- Mm-hmm.
- Are you able to talk about
why that is?
- I think family has to do
a lot with it.
And guys,
so...
- That's where you should be
the most open.
- Some of them have hurt me.
- Really?
You see how this works.
You're stacking the hurt
from the family.
You're stacking the hurt
from the exes.
And this is all coming to play
whenever you meet somebody new.
- Mm-hmm.
- How much longer can you go on
doing this?
- I can't, so that's why
I'm ready to work on it
and, like,
let my guards down
and, you know,
and let things in,
people in.
I don't want to think about
the past anymore.
The past is the past.
Like,
today was a big day.
I get to learn my self-worth
and focus on the things
that I need to work on
within myself
and move forward
and become a better person.
- Nicole,
you're up.
- I picked...
- Guarded, okay.
- The guarded one.
I've had my heart hurt before...
broken, crushed.
- What are you scared of?
- Rejection, hurt,
just a lot of pain
that I don't want to go through.
- You're already feeling it.
It's already there.
- I know how to cut it off
sometimes.
- You think you do,
but you do not.
And it comes out in ways
you cannot control.
- [clears throat]
- And it makes you look like
a totally different woman
from the woman
who you really are.
Do you get that?
- Yes, I do.
Just rage.
- By protecting yourself
and being so afraid
of getting hurt,
in a way,
you're actually the one
responsible
for hurting your own self.
And you are not going to be able
to fully love
until you let that guard down.
We're gonna work on
bringing that fence down.
We'll get you there.
- Looking back at my
relationship with Freddie,
he would talk down to me
and make me feel like crap.
And this is why I have
this guard up.
This is why have that gate
on my heart.
- You've got a lot of work
ahead of you now,
'cause at some point,
you've got to mature
out of the anger
and the hurt.
You've got to move on
to the next stage,
which is the healing.
Freddie,
show us what heart you chose.
- I chose an open heart,
because I feel like I'm at a...
you know,
I'm at a good place in life,
just overall.
I know that, you know,
a relationship will come
on its own time.
In that time,
while I'm waiting,
I'll worked on myself,
think about things
people have told me,
and then when I meet that woman,
I'll have, you know,
so much more to give her,
and hopefully,
she, you know,
she accepts
what I have to give her.
- Okay.
Freddie, I think I'd agree
with you on this one.
I think you are there.
Great job, Freddie.
- It was very difficult
seeing Nicole cry
because something I did.
That's painfully difficult,
but I'm learning about
the things that I do wrong
to change those
so I don't do it again.
- So I'm glad
that you're over it,
and I want to see you
fine-tune it just a little bit.
- Yeah, I can't wait
till another twist happens.
- Are we going on dates tonight?
- They all came here because
they can't separate out there,
like we are supposed to
help them move on.
- You're doing your part.
- Oh, my God.
I hate you guys.
Stop.
- Brittney, let's see
what heart you picked.
- I picked the guarded heart,
but it's weird,
because I just feel like
I'm a little bit of, like,
a walking contradiction,
because I'm so guarded
with my heart, yet I want love.
I want commitment.
- I was surprised that Brittney
chose the guarded heart,
because in our relationship,
at one point, like,
I thought she was ready to,
like, get married.
- I...I just don't get me.
I need to figure out,
am I ready?
I've been in a relationship
my whole life.
I've gone from relationship
to relationship
to relationship
to relationship, but I haven't...
I don't know if I've ever fully
given myself to anyone, and...
- That's honest.
- Yeah.
- That may be
the most honest you've been
since you've been here.
- Probably, yeah.
- Wow.
You took a big step today.
- Thank you.
- I'm proud of you.
Lucas,
what heart did you choose?
Guarded.
- Yeah, I feel like getting
to the point of love again
is...that's tough.
- When was the last time
you felt that type of love?
- The last time I've said it
was about ten years ago.
- Wow.
That's a big gap,
ten years.
- Yeah,
so then you put a guard up.
- Your guard goes up.
- I didn't realize he hadn't
said it in ten years.
I assumed he had said it
at least once in a blue moon
maybe before me or after me,
but I was shocked
that he hadn't said it.
In ten years?
That's a...he needs therapy.
[laughs]
I guess that I wasn't
the problem.
- I definitely think
you're somewhere
between guarded and open,
and for that reason,
I would have actually picked
a healing heart.
I think you're on the mend.
So, Lucas,
why don't you come on up?
Let's swap out that heart
to healing.
- Switch me out?
- Absolutely.
- And I think I was
just a little bit immature
with my past relationships.
And I think with Brittney,
it was...
I would probably blame myself
for most of the problems
between her and I,
because I didn't want
to progress to the point
that she wanted to get to.
- I'm proud of you guys.
This was not easy.
You need to be open-minded
in life
and particularly
for the rest of your time
you're here on the island.
Meet people.
So here's the thing,
I'm gonna be selecting
a few of you
to go on dates based on
who I think is ready.
Whoever is selected
will get to pick
whoever they want
to go out with.
And I guarantee
this date
will be like no other
you've ever been on.
Lucas,
Freddie B,
you've got yourself
a date tonight, man.
Sean, you, my friend,
have a date tonight.
Who do you want to take?
- I want to take Samantha
100% exclusively.
- Okay.
Next up, Jaymie.
You're ready, girl.
Just dive in.
- Can it be anybody?
- It could be anybody.
This is your show.
Get out of your own way.
Just go for it.
Okay?
- I think I'm gonna go
with my gut
and ask somebody
that I really click with.
He was the first person I was
attracted to in the house.
I know what I want.
I know what I need in my life,
and hopefully,
it works out.
- Until you go to bed tonight,
the hearts stay on.
Even on your dates,
you guys need a reminder
of where you are
in order to bridge the gap
between here
and the top of that pyramid.
For the people who are going
on the dates,
you can't skip any steps,
so you've still got to ask
the person out.
The rest of you will have
a relaxing night
here in the villa
getting to know the others.
Go enjoy, everybody.
Good work.
- Thank you.
- I want to go on my date
with Lucas,
because we have
a great friendship,
and I would like to see
if it could be more.
Even though Brittney's my girl,
this is what we came here to do,
support our exes moving on.
Lucas, can I talk to you
for a second?
- Did I do something?
- Uh-huh.
- I didn't...
I didn't say anything.
- Do you want to be
my date tonight?
- Do I want to be
your date tonight?
I...
- You can say no.
- I...
- [laughs]
You can say no.
- I wasn't expecting that
right there.
- Um...
- Whoa, that's the bombshell
of the year.
- I, um, I...
- Coming up on "Ex Isle"...
- So I think I know you
better than anyone.
- I couldn't imagine myself
with anybody else.
It's an awesome feeling.
What is my favorite sport?
- Football.
- Wow, you don't know anything
about me.
I may never date you again
'cause I'm done
being [bleep] with.
- Lucas, can I talk to you
for a second?
- Did I do something?
- Uh-huh.
- Do you want to be
my date tonight?
- Do I want to be
your date tonight?
I...
- You can say no.
- I...
- [laughs]
You can say no.
- I wasn't expecting that
right there.
- Um...
- Whoa, that's bombshell
of the year.
That is beyond my pay grade
to figure out
what the hell is wrong with her.
It's not gonna end well
for this girl.
- I...I don't want
to lead you on
in the direction
that might be misleading.
So I feel like...
- Just say no.
- No, sorry.
- I can handle it. Okay.
- No.
- You know, part of the reason
I don't really put myself
out there is because I don't
want to get rejected.
Oh, this is embarrassing.
I just feel dumb.
I feel really dumb.
- I think that Jaymie
chose Lucas,
because that felt safe for her.
These new people,
she doesn't know them,
and she's been hurt,
and she doesn't want to go out
with another guy,
end up in that same situation
she was in with your boy John.
- What is it with the hearts?
- These hearts signify
what you are right now.
You got a Band-Aid,
that means you're wounded
and you're healing,
and if you've got a fence,
you're guarded,
and then if it's just white,
that means you're open,
you're ready.
- What y'all got?
Let me see.
- I'm healing.
- Oh, you got a little Band-Aid.
Okay
- Yeah, I'm healing.
- Samantha,
you have a broken heart?
- It's on the mend.
- What's going on?
- I asked Lucas out.
- Yay.
How'd it go?
- He said no.
- I'm ashamed on Lucas
for turning down Jaymie.
She's a great girl, and she's
already in a fragile place.
And it's not cool.
- And now I have to figure out
who I'm dating,
but I don't want to take
somebody from the other girls.
- Girl,
this is your life.
You deserve to be able to go on
a date with whoever you want.
Like...
- I'm trying to be...
- Girl, you've been through
[bleep] hell
these past two weeks.
- I'm trying to, like,
see open to the fact of,
like, dating, I need to,
like, find somebody and stuff.
For me, this is about
being healed again,
about being able
to trust somebody again
and let somebody in again.
- Maybe going on a date
is a good way for you to just
slowly start
putting your feelers out,
opening yourself up,
you know?
- Freddie, Lucas...
- Jaymie.
- And Jaymie...
- And the couple.
- Got dates.
- Oh, yeah.
- They were allowed
to pick dates tonight, and...
- Anybody?
Yeah, and Jaymie asked Lucas.
- Oh, what?
- Yes.
- Yeah, yeah.
- Are you kidding me?
- And Lucas said no.
- Ahh.
- Oh, no.
- Yeah. Oh, yes.
- Stop
- Knock-knock.
- Yay.
- Uh-huh.
- Just in time.
- Come on down and come
and step in my office.
- Jaymie.
- Yeah?
- You have options.
Look, you did
some really good work today.
There was a little rejection
by Lucas,
and that set you back
just a little bit.
- I don't get why
this is so hard.
- Because I think you've gotten
into this pattern
of not letting yourself believe
you really deserve this, though.
- And she does.
- Okay?
What scares you the most
about choosing somebody?
- That I do the same...like,
every time I put myself
out there at all,
it slaps me in the face,
so I keep trying, you know.
- I don't see this
as a smack in the face.
I still see this
as a step forward,
because there was a time
where you wouldn't even
put yourself out there.
Take advantage of the time
while you're here.
You've got hunks floating around
out there.
- There are some cuties.
- And they are all here
to date you, my dear, right?
See what they're about.
Give yourself a chance.
Who is it that you're scared
to ask out
that you want to ask out?
- Well, I mean,
I was physically attracted
to Matt the first night.
- I do modeling, so I'm used to
having my clothes off
all the time too, so...
- Oh, really?
Well, that makes sense.
[laughter]
- Then I think you should go out
with Matt.
- I think I should too.
- Well, go get him.
Go ask him.
- Thanks, Dr. Ish.
- So, like,
we all get to go out on dates.
- Oh.
- But not...no, not all of us.
Only, like
- Not all of us, just some.
- So we have to ask out who
we want to go on a date with.
So basically...basically,
what I'm trying to ask, Drea,
is, I mean,
would you be willing
to go out on a date
with Freddie B?
- Yes, Freddie, I would like
to go on a date with you.
- All right!
Give me one of these.
Give me one of these.
- What's up?
- Hello. Hello.
- Did you have fun last night?
- Yeah,
I thought we had fun.
- I thought it was great.
- Yeah.
- I feel bad saying no
to Jaymie.
I just don't want
to lead her on,
because the first date
went pretty well with Roxy,
and I'm definitely interested
in pursuing
another date with her.
I thought we had a good time
last night,
and I was wondering
if you wanted to go
on a second date tonight.
- Sure.
- [laughs]
- [laughs]
My expectations for tonight,
I guess they're pretty high.
We're definitely feeling
each other.
What's this for?
Were you wounded today?
- This is what they give you...
- Are you tending to
your wounded heart?
- Yeah.
- Hopefully,
we can fix that.
- Yeah, I was...
[laughs]
Good.
- Are you excited?
I knew you was Freddie D
with Freddie B.
- Stop.
- Yay.
- I'm playing.
It's cool.
- Can I talk to you real quick,
Matt?
- Me?
- Mm-hmm.
- Excuse me.
- Hi, Jaymie.
- Hey, love.
It's a little nerve-racking
going over and asking Matt
after what just happened
with Lucas.
I don't want to get
rejected again.
- What's up, love?
- Would you like to go
on a date today?
- I...I...you know what?
I'm a little tired.
- Coming up on "Ex Isle"...
- Whoo!
- Ahh!
- I think that Brittney
is getting jealous
of all the attention that Lucas
is getting from Roxy.
- Are you [bleep] kidding me?
- Isn't it hurricane season?
- I don't know.
- If you were gonna guess,
what would you say?
- Probably.
- Did you know Jaymie
is a rapper?
- What are you talking about?
- Things are good with Samantha,
but if she keeps talking,
I'm gonna need
even more therapy.
- Did you know
that Blake Shelton
and Miranda Lambert divorced?
- I don't even know
who that is.
- When's someone gonna sing?
Everyone likes karaoke.
- You know so much about stuff.
[laughter]
Oh, my God, dude,
these questions.
- [laughs]
[upbeat music]
- Can I talk to you real quick,
Matt?
- Me?
- Mm-hmm.
- Excuse me.
- Hi, Jaymie.
- Hey, love.
- What's up, love?
- Would you like to go
on a date today?
I...I...you know what?
I'm a little tired.
- Really?
What the hell
is happening right now?
- No, I'm kidding.
- Oh.
- You were like,
"Oh, my gosh, no."
Ooh, damn, girl.
Hey.
- Okay, so I think we ought to
get ready right now.
- Right now?
- Yep, so...
- Okay,
I'm getting ready.
All right,
I'll see you in a minute.
- All righty
- I'm about to kill
this little date.
- Make sure you ask her
questions about herself.
- Make sure you do nothing
what you would regularly do.
- I know Lucas, and I know he
struggles with communication,
so I'm rooting for him,
but survey says
he's probably gonna
[bleep] that up.
Enjoy.
Good luck.
- Thank you.
- Are you guys excited
for your dates?
- I'm...I'm...
- I'm excited for you guys.
- Okay.
- It's gonna be fun.
- I know.
Let's go have a drink.
I'm ready to hear
the after-stories.
- Yes.
- Whoo.
- Make sure you're home
by midnight.
- Yes.
- Thank you.
Keep it classy,
girl.
- Watch your step.
Watch your step.
Watch the cobblestone.
Hey, Carmen.
- Hey, guys.
How are you?
- Great.
- I wanted to welcome you guys
to the amphitheater
here at Altos de Chavón.
- Oh, my God.
- Wow,
that is insane.
- Wow, it's gorgeous.
- It's gorgeous.
- We get to eat
in a coliseum.
- Tonight the stage is yours.
- Thank you.
This place is wonderful.
It's, like, big and majestic,
and I'm ready to go
on this date.
I'm getting amped up,
because I feel like
I'm ready to move on
and I see the potential
that's there with Drea.
- Whoa.
- Whoo!
- You're not supposed to do it
like that.
- What do you mean?
Oh.
- [laughs]
That's what...
- [bleep].
- Not supposed to do that.
I'm pretty sure.
- For real?
- I'm really attracted to Matt.
So I'm excited
to really get to know him
and see what he's really about.
I feel like this is
a great opportunity
to finally get out there
and maybe finding somebody
that can treat me right.
- All of our history,
and we've never had anything
remotely close to this.
- Nothing like this.
- This is beautiful.
Nice to just take in
and, you know...
- Mm-hmm.
- Enjoy it.
And you look so pretty.
- And you look handsome.
- Thank you.
I couldn't imagine myself
with anybody else
at this point in my life
than being with Samantha.
It's an awesome feeling.
To the betterment of us,
the betterment of ourselves
for a mutual goal.
- Mm-hmm.
- Cheers.
- Cheers.
- Cheers to a memorable evening
in a coliseum
that we'll never forget.
- Why'd you pick me
after Lucas?
[laughter]
- Can you get over it?
- I am.
I definitely am.
I definitely am.
I just have to give you
a hard time about it.
- I mean,
you were the only guy
I was attracted to
the first night.
And we hit it off.
- Right.
- It feels really good
to be on a date
with a very handsome guy.
You know, even though it feels
really good,
it's still a little bit scary.
- Did you notice I'm wearing
my heart on my sleeve?
- I actually noticed that.
I wanted to do this and rip this
damn little gate thing off so...
- You're ripping the gate off.
- I'm ripping your gate off.
- Interesting.
- 'Cause I'ma get to know you
tonight.
New beginning.
You know what I mean?
This is something different,
so I'm trying something new.
- I like that.
- Yeah.
- You put sparkle...
- It's sparkles for you.
I don't put sparkle on
for anybody.
- That's what's up.
I appreciate it.
I feel special now that you put
the sparkle lotion on for me.
- Oh, my gosh,
I am so happy
Freddie is on a date
with Drea.
- Yes.
- 'Cause they are, like,
perfect...perfect together.
- Antonio was like,
"Hey, um, Drew."
I was like, "Boo..."
both: Here name is Drea.
- Hello.
- Drea.
- So I'm not given
a date tonight,
because I don't think
I'm ready for it.
It's good to just sit and chill
for the night.
I'm okay with not having a date.
No, they are, like,
so perfect together.
- I definitely predicted Drea
and Freddie for sure.
- Oh, they're...
they're great together.
- They're great.
- I really like that connection.
- That's a match in heaven.
- I think we should play a game.
[laughs]
- Okay.
- So I think I know you
better than anyone,
and you think you know me
so well.
- Okay.
- We should ask each other
questions
and see if we know the answer.
The date,
it is so exciting,
and we have made
a lot of progress.
Things are good with us,
so I hope that things
will always be this way.
- First question.
- Okay.
- What is my favorite sport?
- Football.
Hockey.
- Boxing.
Ooh.
That actually kind of upsets me.
- No, I'm sorry.
To play or...
- No, no, no, no, no.
- Okay, you're right.
- That upsets me, like
a little bit, like, seriously.
How could you not know that?
Like...
- No, you're right.
I'm sorry.
I should have taken a minute.
- And you said
my third favorite first.
- So you're used to
aggressive men.
- Yeah, yeah...well,
for me to feel...
[clears throat]
Safe in a certain way,
where I'm like,
"Okay, he's not interested
in anybody else.
I'm sure of it."
- With Drea, it's, like,
talking to her,
we're sending each other
positive energy,
rather than Nicole,
her blow-ups
and her anger and the fights.
That's very refreshing.
- I don't need to be, like,
98% sure, or 99%.
I need to be 100-and-more sure,
and if I'm, like...
- Or more?
What's more than 100?
- 200, 300, 400.
- Percent.
- Just however much percent
I can get.
- How could you not...
oh, my God, like, seriously?
- I know. I'm sorry.
I should have gotten that one.
- That's a big deal to me.
- A lot of people have been
coming to me telling me
that John's been hating
on me anyway,
which, I mean, I get it.
You know what I mean?
I'm ten times better looking.
- Yeah.
- I'm in better shape.
You know what I mean?
Like, I don't know
what his deal is, but...
- I think that's one of
his issues
he's working through right now.
- Yeah,
and that's what makes me think
he still has a little something
for you.
Although I think you're...
- Yeah.
Well, and it's been a long...
a long time,
but I need something new.
I need to not go back to...
- What you were used to.
- Yeah.
- I agree.
- Have you been to Paris?
- I have.
- What did you think of that?
Who were you with?
- It's gorgeous.
- Who was I with?
My family.
- Oh, okay.
- Mm-hmm.
Roxy is very independent,
which is nice,
because my ex, Brittney,
needs a lot of attention.
- Well, you weren't there
with a girlfriend.
You didn't go up
the Eiffel Tower with a chick?
- No, I didn't do the Eiffel
Tower, girlfriend, like,
you know,
have a glass of champagne
and turn it into
some fairy tale, no.
- Okay.
- So then we still have that
to hold onto.
- Maybe.
- You look great, by the way.
- Thank you.
- What about you,
Brittney?
How do you feel about Lucas
being on a second date
with Roxy?
- I think it's a nice match.
I think she's really cool.
And I think it's a nice change
of pace for him.
- So you would say that both of
you are totally over each other?
- Say again.
- You are both...
- 100%
- No, Brittney.
You're kidding yourself.
I'm not buying it.
We know.
We know.
We're not that dumb.
- So it's cool.
- I mean, it's cool, you know.
- Yeah.
It's real chill; like, I like
how you are as a person.
You know,
I like your train of thought,
and, you know,
I'm looking forward to more
times of us hanging out.
- Cool.
I mean, that's nice to hear.
The negative about John
when we dated was,
'cause he'd lie.
I didn't know what to believe.
But with Matt,
he feels genuine.
So I'd say my date was a ten.
It was a very romantic date.
- [laughs]
- I love you.
- I love you so much.
And I am so thankful
you invited me on this date.
I had a great time.
- So did I.
- All right, well,
now that it's raining,
we should probably wrap up
the date.
No.
Let's see if we kiss.
[laughs]
- Me and Lucas kissed.
He's a good kisser.
Yay.
- We should get out of here.
- You got a sneaky one
in there.
- I did.
- To the hotel.
all: To the hotel.
Yay.
Hey!
- Pool time.
Hey,
let's all go in the water.
- Good idea.
- My date with Roxy went well.
We had a great time,
so it's, like,
when we get back to the house,
let's keep it going
a little bit, you know.
all: Ayy!
- Whoo.
- One more time this way,
okay?
- [trilling tongue]
- Nighty-night now, my darlings.
- Good night.
- I'm just so annoyed
with Lucas,
'cause, you know, he went
and hooked up with Brittney,
and now he's coupled up
with Dublin girl, Roxy.
- No, really?
- I'm tired.
- Okay.
- I'm just like,
"Come on, dude.
What are you doing?"
You know.
- Whatever.
- Hasta mañana.
- Hasta mañana.
- I think that Brittney
is getting jealous
of all the attention that Lucas
is getting from Roxy.
Obviously, she still
has feelings for Lucas.
- You look amazing.
You look...you know,
you know you're good.
- What's going on?
[bleep].
It's hard, because, you know,
I see Lucas making out
like a 12-year-old in the pool
with Roxy,
and I don't have feelings
for Lucas anymore,
but this is just
so [bleep] awkward.
Like, I don't...this whole
situation is just awkward,
and I don't know why.
Ahh!
- Whoo.
- Are you [bleep] kidding me?
- Coming up on "Ex Isle"...
- Singles, it's your turn.
- Nice.
- They're gonna pick who
they want to have dinner with.
- I think that Nicole
is definitely into Matt,
and it's really hard
to not get jealous.
I'm just so scared
of getting hurt again.
- Who would you make out with?
- We need his name.
- And then do I make out
with him?
- No, you don't. No, no.
You don't have to do all that.
- No, you don't make out.
- I would pick James.
- King James.
- Ow.
- Sorry.
- What's going on?
It's hard, because, you know,
I see the kissing
and all this stuff
on this island,
and then he's coupled up
with Roxy,
and I'm, like,
maybe this was a change
and that he was actually
gonna try and go for something
a little more serious,
but then I'm seeing him
making out in the pool,
and I'm, like,
really upset about it.
- Do you ever get massages?
- No.
- Ever?
- No.
- Nicole never gave you
a massage?
I don't...you don't really give
your boyfriend
or your girlfriend a massage?
- She...I've given them.
She hasn't.
- Why didn't she give you one?
- She probably didn't know how.
- Tonight was amazing.
Like, I never thought
in my wildest dreams
that I would sitting
in a coliseum...
- It was nice, huh?
- Having a dinner.
- That was pretty nice.
- Yeah, it was amazing.
I'd be lying if I said
there was no spark
or no deep connection
when we're alone.
It's there,
and it's really strong.
- [laughs]
Oh.
- Let's do it.
[laughs]
- Go.
- He's the type of man that I
could possibly date long-term.
We'll see.
- I got to go to bed.
- Good night.
- See ya.
See ya tomorrow, okay?
- It's not that I'm not thinking
about sex with Roxy.
It's more so, like,
I'm more focused on finding
someone to maybe, like,
have a relationship with.
Am I missing anything
other than you?
- Aww, sweet.
- Because Brittane Minaj and I,
we hooked up
on the first night,
and then I kind of, like,
regret doing that,
so I don't want to screw
everything up with Roxy.
You know what I mean?
- I'm going to bed.
- You leaving?
- I'll leave you here.
- Good night, Andrea.
- Bye.
- Stop, bye.
- What?
- My roommate is asleep.
[upbeat music]
- Good morning.
- Good morning.
- How are you?
- Hey, little mama.
- How are you?
- I'm good. How you doing?
- I'm good.
James kind of makes me happy
down there.
But I still think
the hottest single is Matt.
- Can I ask you, like,
who are your top two guys?
Or I can't know that yet?
- Um...
- Sip coffee?
- [laughs]
- Jeez.
- When I have my eye
on a guy,
I really know how to,
you know, look at him,
like,
have eye sex with him,
you know,
make sure my boobs are up,
back straight, you know,
the sexy look.
"Hey, what's up, man?"
[laughs]
- Can I get an answer?
Top two.
Just give me top two, even if...
- You are...
you are in my top two.
- Hey!
Hey!
And after our dinner date,
I think Jaymie
is definitely interested.
but Nicole is looking good
right now.
Man this date [bleep]
is like a breeze, brah,
and the more the merrier for me.
- Did you have fun last night
at the date?
- Like, it's just, like...
- I think that Nicole
is definitely into Matt,
and it's really hard
to not get jealous,
'cause he tore my fence
off my heart.
I've been hurt in the past,
and I'm just so scared
of getting hurt again.
- Would you go on a second date
with him?
- Yeah.
- See you later.
Let me go get changed.
- You're so stupid.
- I'll see you soon.
- I know Jaymie likes Matt too,
but I'm doing this for me.
- Good morning.
How are you?
- I feel like me and Matt
have good chemistry.
Matt's definitely throwing
a lot of compliments my way,
and I really don't care
about Nicole.
She's really just not even
worth my time.
- More dates
are happening today.
- Some more alone time
and stuff like that?
- Yeah.
- I'm looking forward to it,
Jaymie.
- Yeah?
Are you that confident
I'm gonna pick you again?
- I actually am.
I'm very confident.
I liked my date last night,
so why not continue it?
[laughter]
[upbeat music]
[all speaking indistinctly]
- Yes.
- I need water.
- Oh, this one?
- I can't wait for Carmen
to get here.
- Wow.
Good morning, everybody.
[together]
Good morning.
- Last night looked
so beautiful.
Did you guys have fun?
[together]
Yeah.
- Well, it's time to really get
to know each other even better.
Don't be afraid to date
a bunch of people to find out
who's right for you.
There's nothing wrong with that,
which I know
a little something about.
[laughs]
So that's what today
is all about.
Today everyone is gonna get
that chance
to find someone to spend
some time with.
Singles, it's your turn
- Finally.
- Later on tonight
it's singles' choice.
[together]
Whoo.
They're gonna pick who they want
to have dinner with.
- I'ma spice it up
and change it up
a little bit tonight for dinner.
You know what I mean?
We get control.
And I'm gonna
make it interesting.
- Thanks, Carmen.
- I'll see ya.
- Bye.
- Bye.
- You know, I feel like my game
is tight for Nicole,
and Jaymie, you know,
I want them to fight over me,
and I feel it coming.
I'm down to be the villain,
of course.
Like, at the end of the day,
you know,
nice guys finish last,
and I'm definitely
not gonna be that one,
so...
- Next time on "Ex Isle"...
Tonight it's singles' choice.
Margo and Drea picked Freddie.
Who will you be going
to dinner with?
- I'm gonna fight for Freddie.
Like, what the [bleep]?
And I actually try
to let somebody [bleep] in,
and you gonna [bleep] play me?
At this point,
I'm pissed.
- Nicole,
where are you going?
- I'm about to turn
the [bleep] up.
- Ooh.
- I think the dynamic has
definitely changed between us.
---
- Previously on "Ex Isle"...
with sexy new singles,
the island heated up.
- I am so happy,
'cause it's new faces,
and I have a new attitude
on moving forward.
- Lucas made the first
island hookup,
leaving Brittney
feeling burned.
- Like, am I crazy
for being pissed?
- I mean, I personally think
she's jealous,
but at this point,
I could care less.
- Hey, everybody.
Dr. Ish pushed the exes
to break their old ties.
- Each of you
are gonna have a chance
to go on dates with one of
the new roommates.
- Hey, I like dates.
- All right.
- Connections were made.
- Look at that.
Now, that's for you.
- I feel like we're gonna get
closer and closer.
- Freddie, focus.
- But Sean was still stuck
on Samantha and lashed out.
- Sean, do not walk away.
- Why am I here?
- How could you not get that?
- I'm not over Samantha,
so now why would I go on a date?
I can't talk about it.
I can't talk about it.
- 21 days,
1 ultimate decision.
Can these exes break free
before they break down?
This is "Ex Isle."
- So this is really
[bleep] intense for me, okay?
And I just don't see how this
is working out for me.
Earlier, Samantha and I went on
the date with the singles.
I mean, like, I was open,
but once I got to the date,
it was a little different,
and I learned, like,
I'm not over Samantha.
- Listen to me.
I have no doubt
that you love this woman.
- Yeah.
- And, Samantha, I have no doubt
that you adore Sean.
When you look at him,
that is all I see in your eyes,
is adoration.
But I wish that you both
could be whole first,
so you could give each other
the love you deserve,
and you're just not there.
And we can get you there,
but you've got to walk this line
with us.
So what if we map out a plan
for the two of you?
- I would appreciate it.
- Part of this plan
is interacting
with other people,
okay?
- All right.
- You understand?
- Yeah.
- This is uncomfortable for you,
because you're growing now.
But if you stop now,
you're gonna go right back
to square one.
Fight through it,
you know?
- [sighs]
[upbeat acoustic guitar music]
- I want to mingle and talk.
I just want to do the exercises
with you, because...
- No, yeah, yeah.
- You know,
that's the only difference.
I was really upset last night,
but I'm trying to be open-minded
about everything,
so I'm interested to see
what Dr. Ish is gonna cook up
for us today.
- How was your date?
- It was fine.
- Besides hurting a man's ego,
yeah, it was good.
- I wasn't being mean.
I was being honest.
- I don't know.
I thought he was cute.
- Wait,
who had no steady income?
- Matt.
- That mother[bleep] homeless.
[laughter]
- You had a good date?
- My date was really good.
- You were with Josh,
right?
- He is so smart.
- Smarter than Lucas?
- Instigating.
- Don't ask Brittney
that question.
She's obviously
just gonna be like,
"Yeah, of course he's smarter,
better-looking..."
"Taller, more attractive,
doesn't argue as much,
loves to get nagged."
- He texts me, like,
100 times a day.
There's all these new people
coming in
and living with us.
I think we're all feeling
maybe a little territorial,
and all of a sudden,
the whole dynamic of this house
wouldn't be the same.
We're all feeling a little bit
of the weight of that.
- Aren't we supposed to be ready
in, like, 20 minutes?
- 20 minutes.
- Hey, everyone,
having a great time.
By the way,
you're still [bleep] up.
[laughter]
- Good afternoon,
everybody.
Although you're still a group,
as of today, this is not longer
a group exercise.
This is individual.
This is personal.
Each of these hearts
represents a state
that everybody's heart
in this room
is currently in.
Each of you will come up here
and choose the heart
that you feel represents
exactly where you are.
You will literally put
this heart on your sleeve
for all to see.
- I am actually really liking
this exercise.
I feel like it's a chance
to evaluate where we are.
- Let's start with Sean
and Samantha.
All right, Sean,
which heart did you pick?
- So I picked the heart
that needs to be mended,
because I feel like I have gone
through a complete broken heart.
I have been guarded.
This represents to me
that I'm in a place
where I'm doing personal growth,
but it still needs
to be healed.
- Samantha, do you agree
with his choice of hearts?
- Yes, I do.
- You agree, okay.
- I do feel like
he's kind of working
to make things better.
I think he's kind of got
a little Band-Aid on it,
just for the comfort.
- A little one,
or a big one?
- A pretty big one.
- Okay.
Samantha,
what did you pull out?
- I pulled out the broken one.
- The broken heart.
- Mm-hmm.
- Okay.
- I think we have kind of beat
each other down emotionally.
And that is heartbreaking.
We've opened up all our wounds.
I feel like we've ripped off
all the Band-Aids.
- What do you think about
her choice in heart, Sean?
- I understand what she's saying
as far as, like,
it being broken and being hurt,
and I just feel like it's a...
like it's a miscommunication
between us.
- First thing to communication,
guys,
is validating
what the other one said,
so she's saying, "Listen,
my heart feels broken."
That's not miscommunication.
That is very open and honest
communication.
So I want you to validate that
and say...
look at her and say,
"I hear you."
- I understand that your heart
is broken, you know,
and I know I've had a lot
to do with that,
and I'm sorry.
- That is the first big step
to communication.
You two seriously,
literally need to stop
hurting each other
and start listening
to each other.
Next up,
Jaymie and John.
Jaymie, let's see the heart
you chose.
- Guarded.
- Guarded.
Why did you pick that?
- I'm so guarded,
I don't even try.
I don't even want to try.
After what I went through
with John,
it's extremely hard for me
to date now.
It's extremely hard for me
to believe anything
that anybody tells me.
- What's the scariest part about
actually getting out there
and trying again,
Jaymie?
- Um...
I guess getting hurt,
making sacrifices,
and not getting them
in return.
- Like you weren't enough.
- Mm-hmm.
- What else is scary about it?
- Yeah, I mean, I guess
that's the scariest part is,
you know, going from where
I've built myself up to
to thinking somebody's
better than me again.
- You've got to allow yourself
to actually be happy.
You've got to know
that you deserve that.
And I think that's the biggest
thing holding you back.
- Yeah.
- On some level,
you don't really feel like
you deserve it.
Is that right?
- Yeah.
- John, you're up.
- I have a broken heart.
- Tell me about the past
and why you think you have that.
- [exhales]
- You can do this.
- Um...
I don't know.
I don't even know how to start.
I don't even know how
to explain it.
My heart is pretty much broken,
because...
I once in my life gave 100%
to somebody else,
and...
it didn't work out.
I have underlying issues
with my ex-wife.
I wanted to be with her
for the rest of my life
and have a family with her,
because I felt like
she completed me.
But I guess I was wrong.
Tell you the truth,
I don't ever think
I'll ever be over it.
I gave so much of myself
to one person
only to be [bleep] on.
A lot of that anger came off
from my ex-wife,
and that's why I think
I did everything
that I did to Jaymie.
I kind of let her down.
- You've got to admit it
to get over it, my friend.
- I just need a minute.
[sobbing]
- Guys, stay put.
I'm just gonna go check on him.
I'll be right back.
- John, he's just having
an internal battle with himself.
Like, I'm feeling for him
at this point.
Like, I can get into his shoes
so much
that it makes me want to cry
for him.
- [sobbing]
- You're doing good.
This is exactly what you need
to be doing.
Look, you've got years of it
to get out, right?
Right?
Come here.
You stay out here as long
as you need to, man.
You've got to let it out.
That's right.
You've got to let it out.
- [sobbing]
- Let it go.
Once you let it go,
you never have to feel it again.
- Coming up on "Ex Isle"...
- Lucas, you want to be
my date tonight?
- I...
- I wasn't expecting that
right there.
- Um, um...
- What about you,
Brittney?
You would say that both of you
are totally over each other?
- I'm actually glad that he's...
I think...
you know...
say again.
- We know.
We know.
- This just not who I am.
I don't like feeling like this.
- This is slaying your dragon,
man.
From today forward, you never
have to tell that story again.
You are still here,
still fighting.
But you've got to feel it
in order to come back from it.
It takes guts to let it out,
brother.
I want you to take as much time
as you need.
I'm really proud of you.
- I never really had
a father figure,
and for the first time
in my life,
I definitely felt like
a real man had my back,
and to hear him say
he was proud of me,
it was great.
- So intense.
- Damn, man.
I want to change my heart.
[bleep].
- Wait,
you and Freddie B kissed?
- What?
- Oh, yeah.
- Oh...oh, my God, Matt.
- With so much tongue too.
- Oh, my God.
- What?
- Wait, there was tongue?
- There was a lot of tongue.
- There was no tongue.
- I was watching it.
- Josh, no.
- I was watching it.
- Wait a minute.
- [laughs]
Stop it.
There was no tongue.
- I'm, like...
- Yeah, we have fun too, yeah.
Look at that.
Now, that's for you.
Aww.
She's fun.
She's fun.
- There's the person you meet
on your date,
and then there's the person
you hear about.
Yeah, like, great here,
but I would never date somebody
who would do that,
that, and that.
- Here you're like,
"I'm gonna go talk to your ex
in five minutes."
- But at the same time,
you can't take everything
they say at face value,
because it's so toxic.
Everything between them
was so toxic.
I thought I was gonna be
with singles,
but I feel like I'm in
divorce court right now.
You guys have Dr. Ish's number?
'Cause I need to talk.
I mean, they're all
relatively nice people,
you know,
for the most part...
- But they have...they're all
having counseling right now.
- But they're all delusional
as [bleep] too.
- Whew.
- John,
welcome back.
- I feel really bad for John.
I think that he broke down,
because he was really,
really affected by this
past relationship that lasted
for 15 years,
where he got married
and all this stuff.
And he lost it.
- Come on in.
Take your seat.
I'm glad you're able
to hang in there with us
for the rest of the way.
And, guys,
John is fighting
tooth and nail.
We're gonna work on getting you
from that broken heart
to the healing heart.
That's my promise to you.
- Okay.
- Let's take his lead.
Let's move forward.
Antonio,
pull out your heart.
- I picked open.
- I do not agree with open.
I think it's actually broken.
And I see a lot of people
in this room shaking their head.
- Oh, wow.
[laughs]
Wow.
Um...
I still have a little hurt.
Having that closure
doesn't mean that,
you know,
you're still not hurting.
I want to move on,
but not right now.
When I look at everything
with me and Ashley's
relationship,
I knew right then and there
that heart that I needed
was a broken heart.
Even though my heart
is hurting,
I can finally move on now.
- Ashley.
- Mm-hmm.
I chose this one.
- Guarded.
- Mm-hmm.
- Are you able to talk about
why that is?
- I think family has to do
a lot with it.
And guys,
so...
- That's where you should be
the most open.
- Some of them have hurt me.
- Really?
You see how this works.
You're stacking the hurt
from the family.
You're stacking the hurt
from the exes.
And this is all coming to play
whenever you meet somebody new.
- Mm-hmm.
- How much longer can you go on
doing this?
- I can't, so that's why
I'm ready to work on it
and, like,
let my guards down
and, you know,
and let things in,
people in.
I don't want to think about
the past anymore.
The past is the past.
Like,
today was a big day.
I get to learn my self-worth
and focus on the things
that I need to work on
within myself
and move forward
and become a better person.
- Nicole,
you're up.
- I picked...
- Guarded, okay.
- The guarded one.
I've had my heart hurt before...
broken, crushed.
- What are you scared of?
- Rejection, hurt,
just a lot of pain
that I don't want to go through.
- You're already feeling it.
It's already there.
- I know how to cut it off
sometimes.
- You think you do,
but you do not.
And it comes out in ways
you cannot control.
- [clears throat]
- And it makes you look like
a totally different woman
from the woman
who you really are.
Do you get that?
- Yes, I do.
Just rage.
- By protecting yourself
and being so afraid
of getting hurt,
in a way,
you're actually the one
responsible
for hurting your own self.
And you are not going to be able
to fully love
until you let that guard down.
We're gonna work on
bringing that fence down.
We'll get you there.
- Looking back at my
relationship with Freddie,
he would talk down to me
and make me feel like crap.
And this is why I have
this guard up.
This is why have that gate
on my heart.
- You've got a lot of work
ahead of you now,
'cause at some point,
you've got to mature
out of the anger
and the hurt.
You've got to move on
to the next stage,
which is the healing.
Freddie,
show us what heart you chose.
- I chose an open heart,
because I feel like I'm at a...
you know,
I'm at a good place in life,
just overall.
I know that, you know,
a relationship will come
on its own time.
In that time,
while I'm waiting,
I'll worked on myself,
think about things
people have told me,
and then when I meet that woman,
I'll have, you know,
so much more to give her,
and hopefully,
she, you know,
she accepts
what I have to give her.
- Okay.
Freddie, I think I'd agree
with you on this one.
I think you are there.
Great job, Freddie.
- It was very difficult
seeing Nicole cry
because something I did.
That's painfully difficult,
but I'm learning about
the things that I do wrong
to change those
so I don't do it again.
- So I'm glad
that you're over it,
and I want to see you
fine-tune it just a little bit.
- Yeah, I can't wait
till another twist happens.
- Are we going on dates tonight?
- They all came here because
they can't separate out there,
like we are supposed to
help them move on.
- You're doing your part.
- Oh, my God.
I hate you guys.
Stop.
- Brittney, let's see
what heart you picked.
- I picked the guarded heart,
but it's weird,
because I just feel like
I'm a little bit of, like,
a walking contradiction,
because I'm so guarded
with my heart, yet I want love.
I want commitment.
- I was surprised that Brittney
chose the guarded heart,
because in our relationship,
at one point, like,
I thought she was ready to,
like, get married.
- I...I just don't get me.
I need to figure out,
am I ready?
I've been in a relationship
my whole life.
I've gone from relationship
to relationship
to relationship
to relationship, but I haven't...
I don't know if I've ever fully
given myself to anyone, and...
- That's honest.
- Yeah.
- That may be
the most honest you've been
since you've been here.
- Probably, yeah.
- Wow.
You took a big step today.
- Thank you.
- I'm proud of you.
Lucas,
what heart did you choose?
Guarded.
- Yeah, I feel like getting
to the point of love again
is...that's tough.
- When was the last time
you felt that type of love?
- The last time I've said it
was about ten years ago.
- Wow.
That's a big gap,
ten years.
- Yeah,
so then you put a guard up.
- Your guard goes up.
- I didn't realize he hadn't
said it in ten years.
I assumed he had said it
at least once in a blue moon
maybe before me or after me,
but I was shocked
that he hadn't said it.
In ten years?
That's a...he needs therapy.
[laughs]
I guess that I wasn't
the problem.
- I definitely think
you're somewhere
between guarded and open,
and for that reason,
I would have actually picked
a healing heart.
I think you're on the mend.
So, Lucas,
why don't you come on up?
Let's swap out that heart
to healing.
- Switch me out?
- Absolutely.
- And I think I was
just a little bit immature
with my past relationships.
And I think with Brittney,
it was...
I would probably blame myself
for most of the problems
between her and I,
because I didn't want
to progress to the point
that she wanted to get to.
- I'm proud of you guys.
This was not easy.
You need to be open-minded
in life
and particularly
for the rest of your time
you're here on the island.
Meet people.
So here's the thing,
I'm gonna be selecting
a few of you
to go on dates based on
who I think is ready.
Whoever is selected
will get to pick
whoever they want
to go out with.
And I guarantee
this date
will be like no other
you've ever been on.
Lucas,
Freddie B,
you've got yourself
a date tonight, man.
Sean, you, my friend,
have a date tonight.
Who do you want to take?
- I want to take Samantha
100% exclusively.
- Okay.
Next up, Jaymie.
You're ready, girl.
Just dive in.
- Can it be anybody?
- It could be anybody.
This is your show.
Get out of your own way.
Just go for it.
Okay?
- I think I'm gonna go
with my gut
and ask somebody
that I really click with.
He was the first person I was
attracted to in the house.
I know what I want.
I know what I need in my life,
and hopefully,
it works out.
- Until you go to bed tonight,
the hearts stay on.
Even on your dates,
you guys need a reminder
of where you are
in order to bridge the gap
between here
and the top of that pyramid.
For the people who are going
on the dates,
you can't skip any steps,
so you've still got to ask
the person out.
The rest of you will have
a relaxing night
here in the villa
getting to know the others.
Go enjoy, everybody.
Good work.
- Thank you.
- I want to go on my date
with Lucas,
because we have
a great friendship,
and I would like to see
if it could be more.
Even though Brittney's my girl,
this is what we came here to do,
support our exes moving on.
Lucas, can I talk to you
for a second?
- Did I do something?
- Uh-huh.
- I didn't...
I didn't say anything.
- Do you want to be
my date tonight?
- Do I want to be
your date tonight?
I...
- You can say no.
- I...
- [laughs]
You can say no.
- I wasn't expecting that
right there.
- Um...
- Whoa, that's the bombshell
of the year.
- I, um, I...
- Coming up on "Ex Isle"...
- So I think I know you
better than anyone.
- I couldn't imagine myself
with anybody else.
It's an awesome feeling.
What is my favorite sport?
- Football.
- Wow, you don't know anything
about me.
I may never date you again
'cause I'm done
being [bleep] with.
- Lucas, can I talk to you
for a second?
- Did I do something?
- Uh-huh.
- Do you want to be
my date tonight?
- Do I want to be
your date tonight?
I...
- You can say no.
- I...
- [laughs]
You can say no.
- I wasn't expecting that
right there.
- Um...
- Whoa, that's bombshell
of the year.
That is beyond my pay grade
to figure out
what the hell is wrong with her.
It's not gonna end well
for this girl.
- I...I don't want
to lead you on
in the direction
that might be misleading.
So I feel like...
- Just say no.
- No, sorry.
- I can handle it. Okay.
- No.
- You know, part of the reason
I don't really put myself
out there is because I don't
want to get rejected.
Oh, this is embarrassing.
I just feel dumb.
I feel really dumb.
- I think that Jaymie
chose Lucas,
because that felt safe for her.
These new people,
she doesn't know them,
and she's been hurt,
and she doesn't want to go out
with another guy,
end up in that same situation
she was in with your boy John.
- What is it with the hearts?
- These hearts signify
what you are right now.
You got a Band-Aid,
that means you're wounded
and you're healing,
and if you've got a fence,
you're guarded,
and then if it's just white,
that means you're open,
you're ready.
- What y'all got?
Let me see.
- I'm healing.
- Oh, you got a little Band-Aid.
Okay
- Yeah, I'm healing.
- Samantha,
you have a broken heart?
- It's on the mend.
- What's going on?
- I asked Lucas out.
- Yay.
How'd it go?
- He said no.
- I'm ashamed on Lucas
for turning down Jaymie.
She's a great girl, and she's
already in a fragile place.
And it's not cool.
- And now I have to figure out
who I'm dating,
but I don't want to take
somebody from the other girls.
- Girl,
this is your life.
You deserve to be able to go on
a date with whoever you want.
Like...
- I'm trying to be...
- Girl, you've been through
[bleep] hell
these past two weeks.
- I'm trying to, like,
see open to the fact of,
like, dating, I need to,
like, find somebody and stuff.
For me, this is about
being healed again,
about being able
to trust somebody again
and let somebody in again.
- Maybe going on a date
is a good way for you to just
slowly start
putting your feelers out,
opening yourself up,
you know?
- Freddie, Lucas...
- Jaymie.
- And Jaymie...
- And the couple.
- Got dates.
- Oh, yeah.
- They were allowed
to pick dates tonight, and...
- Anybody?
Yeah, and Jaymie asked Lucas.
- Oh, what?
- Yes.
- Yeah, yeah.
- Are you kidding me?
- And Lucas said no.
- Ahh.
- Oh, no.
- Yeah. Oh, yes.
- Stop
- Knock-knock.
- Yay.
- Uh-huh.
- Just in time.
- Come on down and come
and step in my office.
- Jaymie.
- Yeah?
- You have options.
Look, you did
some really good work today.
There was a little rejection
by Lucas,
and that set you back
just a little bit.
- I don't get why
this is so hard.
- Because I think you've gotten
into this pattern
of not letting yourself believe
you really deserve this, though.
- And she does.
- Okay?
What scares you the most
about choosing somebody?
- That I do the same...like,
every time I put myself
out there at all,
it slaps me in the face,
so I keep trying, you know.
- I don't see this
as a smack in the face.
I still see this
as a step forward,
because there was a time
where you wouldn't even
put yourself out there.
Take advantage of the time
while you're here.
You've got hunks floating around
out there.
- There are some cuties.
- And they are all here
to date you, my dear, right?
See what they're about.
Give yourself a chance.
Who is it that you're scared
to ask out
that you want to ask out?
- Well, I mean,
I was physically attracted
to Matt the first night.
- I do modeling, so I'm used to
having my clothes off
all the time too, so...
- Oh, really?
Well, that makes sense.
[laughter]
- Then I think you should go out
with Matt.
- I think I should too.
- Well, go get him.
Go ask him.
- Thanks, Dr. Ish.
- So, like,
we all get to go out on dates.
- Oh.
- But not...no, not all of us.
Only, like
- Not all of us, just some.
- So we have to ask out who
we want to go on a date with.
So basically...basically,
what I'm trying to ask, Drea,
is, I mean,
would you be willing
to go out on a date
with Freddie B?
- Yes, Freddie, I would like
to go on a date with you.
- All right!
Give me one of these.
Give me one of these.
- What's up?
- Hello. Hello.
- Did you have fun last night?
- Yeah,
I thought we had fun.
- I thought it was great.
- Yeah.
- I feel bad saying no
to Jaymie.
I just don't want
to lead her on,
because the first date
went pretty well with Roxy,
and I'm definitely interested
in pursuing
another date with her.
I thought we had a good time
last night,
and I was wondering
if you wanted to go
on a second date tonight.
- Sure.
- [laughs]
- [laughs]
My expectations for tonight,
I guess they're pretty high.
We're definitely feeling
each other.
What's this for?
Were you wounded today?
- This is what they give you...
- Are you tending to
your wounded heart?
- Yeah.
- Hopefully,
we can fix that.
- Yeah, I was...
[laughs]
Good.
- Are you excited?
I knew you was Freddie D
with Freddie B.
- Stop.
- Yay.
- I'm playing.
It's cool.
- Can I talk to you real quick,
Matt?
- Me?
- Mm-hmm.
- Excuse me.
- Hi, Jaymie.
- Hey, love.
It's a little nerve-racking
going over and asking Matt
after what just happened
with Lucas.
I don't want to get
rejected again.
- What's up, love?
- Would you like to go
on a date today?
- I...I...you know what?
I'm a little tired.
- Coming up on "Ex Isle"...
- Whoo!
- Ahh!
- I think that Brittney
is getting jealous
of all the attention that Lucas
is getting from Roxy.
- Are you [bleep] kidding me?
- Isn't it hurricane season?
- I don't know.
- If you were gonna guess,
what would you say?
- Probably.
- Did you know Jaymie
is a rapper?
- What are you talking about?
- Things are good with Samantha,
but if she keeps talking,
I'm gonna need
even more therapy.
- Did you know
that Blake Shelton
and Miranda Lambert divorced?
- I don't even know
who that is.
- When's someone gonna sing?
Everyone likes karaoke.
- You know so much about stuff.
[laughter]
Oh, my God, dude,
these questions.
- [laughs]
[upbeat music]
- Can I talk to you real quick,
Matt?
- Me?
- Mm-hmm.
- Excuse me.
- Hi, Jaymie.
- Hey, love.
- What's up, love?
- Would you like to go
on a date today?
I...I...you know what?
I'm a little tired.
- Really?
What the hell
is happening right now?
- No, I'm kidding.
- Oh.
- You were like,
"Oh, my gosh, no."
Ooh, damn, girl.
Hey.
- Okay, so I think we ought to
get ready right now.
- Right now?
- Yep, so...
- Okay,
I'm getting ready.
All right,
I'll see you in a minute.
- All righty
- I'm about to kill
this little date.
- Make sure you ask her
questions about herself.
- Make sure you do nothing
what you would regularly do.
- I know Lucas, and I know he
struggles with communication,
so I'm rooting for him,
but survey says
he's probably gonna
[bleep] that up.
Enjoy.
Good luck.
- Thank you.
- Are you guys excited
for your dates?
- I'm...I'm...
- I'm excited for you guys.
- Okay.
- It's gonna be fun.
- I know.
Let's go have a drink.
I'm ready to hear
the after-stories.
- Yes.
- Whoo.
- Make sure you're home
by midnight.
- Yes.
- Thank you.
Keep it classy,
girl.
- Watch your step.
Watch your step.
Watch the cobblestone.
Hey, Carmen.
- Hey, guys.
How are you?
- Great.
- I wanted to welcome you guys
to the amphitheater
here at Altos de Chavón.
- Oh, my God.
- Wow,
that is insane.
- Wow, it's gorgeous.
- It's gorgeous.
- We get to eat
in a coliseum.
- Tonight the stage is yours.
- Thank you.
This place is wonderful.
It's, like, big and majestic,
and I'm ready to go
on this date.
I'm getting amped up,
because I feel like
I'm ready to move on
and I see the potential
that's there with Drea.
- Whoa.
- Whoo!
- You're not supposed to do it
like that.
- What do you mean?
Oh.
- [laughs]
That's what...
- [bleep].
- Not supposed to do that.
I'm pretty sure.
- For real?
- I'm really attracted to Matt.
So I'm excited
to really get to know him
and see what he's really about.
I feel like this is
a great opportunity
to finally get out there
and maybe finding somebody
that can treat me right.
- All of our history,
and we've never had anything
remotely close to this.
- Nothing like this.
- This is beautiful.
Nice to just take in
and, you know...
- Mm-hmm.
- Enjoy it.
And you look so pretty.
- And you look handsome.
- Thank you.
I couldn't imagine myself
with anybody else
at this point in my life
than being with Samantha.
It's an awesome feeling.
To the betterment of us,
the betterment of ourselves
for a mutual goal.
- Mm-hmm.
- Cheers.
- Cheers.
- Cheers to a memorable evening
in a coliseum
that we'll never forget.
- Why'd you pick me
after Lucas?
[laughter]
- Can you get over it?
- I am.
I definitely am.
I definitely am.
I just have to give you
a hard time about it.
- I mean,
you were the only guy
I was attracted to
the first night.
And we hit it off.
- Right.
- It feels really good
to be on a date
with a very handsome guy.
You know, even though it feels
really good,
it's still a little bit scary.
- Did you notice I'm wearing
my heart on my sleeve?
- I actually noticed that.
I wanted to do this and rip this
damn little gate thing off so...
- You're ripping the gate off.
- I'm ripping your gate off.
- Interesting.
- 'Cause I'ma get to know you
tonight.
New beginning.
You know what I mean?
This is something different,
so I'm trying something new.
- I like that.
- Yeah.
- You put sparkle...
- It's sparkles for you.
I don't put sparkle on
for anybody.
- That's what's up.
I appreciate it.
I feel special now that you put
the sparkle lotion on for me.
- Oh, my gosh,
I am so happy
Freddie is on a date
with Drea.
- Yes.
- 'Cause they are, like,
perfect...perfect together.
- Antonio was like,
"Hey, um, Drew."
I was like, "Boo..."
both: Here name is Drea.
- Hello.
- Drea.
- So I'm not given
a date tonight,
because I don't think
I'm ready for it.
It's good to just sit and chill
for the night.
I'm okay with not having a date.
No, they are, like,
so perfect together.
- I definitely predicted Drea
and Freddie for sure.
- Oh, they're...
they're great together.
- They're great.
- I really like that connection.
- That's a match in heaven.
- I think we should play a game.
[laughs]
- Okay.
- So I think I know you
better than anyone,
and you think you know me
so well.
- Okay.
- We should ask each other
questions
and see if we know the answer.
The date,
it is so exciting,
and we have made
a lot of progress.
Things are good with us,
so I hope that things
will always be this way.
- First question.
- Okay.
- What is my favorite sport?
- Football.
Hockey.
- Boxing.
Ooh.
That actually kind of upsets me.
- No, I'm sorry.
To play or...
- No, no, no, no, no.
- Okay, you're right.
- That upsets me, like
a little bit, like, seriously.
How could you not know that?
Like...
- No, you're right.
I'm sorry.
I should have taken a minute.
- And you said
my third favorite first.
- So you're used to
aggressive men.
- Yeah, yeah...well,
for me to feel...
[clears throat]
Safe in a certain way,
where I'm like,
"Okay, he's not interested
in anybody else.
I'm sure of it."
- With Drea, it's, like,
talking to her,
we're sending each other
positive energy,
rather than Nicole,
her blow-ups
and her anger and the fights.
That's very refreshing.
- I don't need to be, like,
98% sure, or 99%.
I need to be 100-and-more sure,
and if I'm, like...
- Or more?
What's more than 100?
- 200, 300, 400.
- Percent.
- Just however much percent
I can get.
- How could you not...
oh, my God, like, seriously?
- I know. I'm sorry.
I should have gotten that one.
- That's a big deal to me.
- A lot of people have been
coming to me telling me
that John's been hating
on me anyway,
which, I mean, I get it.
You know what I mean?
I'm ten times better looking.
- Yeah.
- I'm in better shape.
You know what I mean?
Like, I don't know
what his deal is, but...
- I think that's one of
his issues
he's working through right now.
- Yeah,
and that's what makes me think
he still has a little something
for you.
Although I think you're...
- Yeah.
Well, and it's been a long...
a long time,
but I need something new.
I need to not go back to...
- What you were used to.
- Yeah.
- I agree.
- Have you been to Paris?
- I have.
- What did you think of that?
Who were you with?
- It's gorgeous.
- Who was I with?
My family.
- Oh, okay.
- Mm-hmm.
Roxy is very independent,
which is nice,
because my ex, Brittney,
needs a lot of attention.
- Well, you weren't there
with a girlfriend.
You didn't go up
the Eiffel Tower with a chick?
- No, I didn't do the Eiffel
Tower, girlfriend, like,
you know,
have a glass of champagne
and turn it into
some fairy tale, no.
- Okay.
- So then we still have that
to hold onto.
- Maybe.
- You look great, by the way.
- Thank you.
- What about you,
Brittney?
How do you feel about Lucas
being on a second date
with Roxy?
- I think it's a nice match.
I think she's really cool.
And I think it's a nice change
of pace for him.
- So you would say that both of
you are totally over each other?
- Say again.
- You are both...
- 100%
- No, Brittney.
You're kidding yourself.
I'm not buying it.
We know.
We know.
We're not that dumb.
- So it's cool.
- I mean, it's cool, you know.
- Yeah.
It's real chill; like, I like
how you are as a person.
You know,
I like your train of thought,
and, you know,
I'm looking forward to more
times of us hanging out.
- Cool.
I mean, that's nice to hear.
The negative about John
when we dated was,
'cause he'd lie.
I didn't know what to believe.
But with Matt,
he feels genuine.
So I'd say my date was a ten.
It was a very romantic date.
- [laughs]
- I love you.
- I love you so much.
And I am so thankful
you invited me on this date.
I had a great time.
- So did I.
- All right, well,
now that it's raining,
we should probably wrap up
the date.
No.
Let's see if we kiss.
[laughs]
- Me and Lucas kissed.
He's a good kisser.
Yay.
- We should get out of here.
- You got a sneaky one
in there.
- I did.
- To the hotel.
all: To the hotel.
Yay.
Hey!
- Pool time.
Hey,
let's all go in the water.
- Good idea.
- My date with Roxy went well.
We had a great time,
so it's, like,
when we get back to the house,
let's keep it going
a little bit, you know.
all: Ayy!
- Whoo.
- One more time this way,
okay?
- [trilling tongue]
- Nighty-night now, my darlings.
- Good night.
- I'm just so annoyed
with Lucas,
'cause, you know, he went
and hooked up with Brittney,
and now he's coupled up
with Dublin girl, Roxy.
- No, really?
- I'm tired.
- Okay.
- I'm just like,
"Come on, dude.
What are you doing?"
You know.
- Whatever.
- Hasta mañana.
- Hasta mañana.
- I think that Brittney
is getting jealous
of all the attention that Lucas
is getting from Roxy.
Obviously, she still
has feelings for Lucas.
- You look amazing.
You look...you know,
you know you're good.
- What's going on?
[bleep].
It's hard, because, you know,
I see Lucas making out
like a 12-year-old in the pool
with Roxy,
and I don't have feelings
for Lucas anymore,
but this is just
so [bleep] awkward.
Like, I don't...this whole
situation is just awkward,
and I don't know why.
Ahh!
- Whoo.
- Are you [bleep] kidding me?
- Coming up on "Ex Isle"...
- Singles, it's your turn.
- Nice.
- They're gonna pick who
they want to have dinner with.
- I think that Nicole
is definitely into Matt,
and it's really hard
to not get jealous.
I'm just so scared
of getting hurt again.
- Who would you make out with?
- We need his name.
- And then do I make out
with him?
- No, you don't. No, no.
You don't have to do all that.
- No, you don't make out.
- I would pick James.
- King James.
- Ow.
- Sorry.
- What's going on?
It's hard, because, you know,
I see the kissing
and all this stuff
on this island,
and then he's coupled up
with Roxy,
and I'm, like,
maybe this was a change
and that he was actually
gonna try and go for something
a little more serious,
but then I'm seeing him
making out in the pool,
and I'm, like,
really upset about it.
- Do you ever get massages?
- No.
- Ever?
- No.
- Nicole never gave you
a massage?
I don't...you don't really give
your boyfriend
or your girlfriend a massage?
- She...I've given them.
She hasn't.
- Why didn't she give you one?
- She probably didn't know how.
- Tonight was amazing.
Like, I never thought
in my wildest dreams
that I would sitting
in a coliseum...
- It was nice, huh?
- Having a dinner.
- That was pretty nice.
- Yeah, it was amazing.
I'd be lying if I said
there was no spark
or no deep connection
when we're alone.
It's there,
and it's really strong.
- [laughs]
Oh.
- Let's do it.
[laughs]
- Go.
- He's the type of man that I
could possibly date long-term.
We'll see.
- I got to go to bed.
- Good night.
- See ya.
See ya tomorrow, okay?
- It's not that I'm not thinking
about sex with Roxy.
It's more so, like,
I'm more focused on finding
someone to maybe, like,
have a relationship with.
Am I missing anything
other than you?
- Aww, sweet.
- Because Brittane Minaj and I,
we hooked up
on the first night,
and then I kind of, like,
regret doing that,
so I don't want to screw
everything up with Roxy.
You know what I mean?
- I'm going to bed.
- You leaving?
- I'll leave you here.
- Good night, Andrea.
- Bye.
- Stop, bye.
- What?
- My roommate is asleep.
[upbeat music]
- Good morning.
- Good morning.
- How are you?
- Hey, little mama.
- How are you?
- I'm good. How you doing?
- I'm good.
James kind of makes me happy
down there.
But I still think
the hottest single is Matt.
- Can I ask you, like,
who are your top two guys?
Or I can't know that yet?
- Um...
- Sip coffee?
- [laughs]
- Jeez.
- When I have my eye
on a guy,
I really know how to,
you know, look at him,
like,
have eye sex with him,
you know,
make sure my boobs are up,
back straight, you know,
the sexy look.
"Hey, what's up, man?"
[laughs]
- Can I get an answer?
Top two.
Just give me top two, even if...
- You are...
you are in my top two.
- Hey!
Hey!
And after our dinner date,
I think Jaymie
is definitely interested.
but Nicole is looking good
right now.
Man this date [bleep]
is like a breeze, brah,
and the more the merrier for me.
- Did you have fun last night
at the date?
- Like, it's just, like...
- I think that Nicole
is definitely into Matt,
and it's really hard
to not get jealous,
'cause he tore my fence
off my heart.
I've been hurt in the past,
and I'm just so scared
of getting hurt again.
- Would you go on a second date
with him?
- Yeah.
- See you later.
Let me go get changed.
- You're so stupid.
- I'll see you soon.
- I know Jaymie likes Matt too,
but I'm doing this for me.
- Good morning.
How are you?
- I feel like me and Matt
have good chemistry.
Matt's definitely throwing
a lot of compliments my way,
and I really don't care
about Nicole.
She's really just not even
worth my time.
- More dates
are happening today.
- Some more alone time
and stuff like that?
- Yeah.
- I'm looking forward to it,
Jaymie.
- Yeah?
Are you that confident
I'm gonna pick you again?
- I actually am.
I'm very confident.
I liked my date last night,
so why not continue it?
[laughter]
[upbeat music]
[all speaking indistinctly]
- Yes.
- I need water.
- Oh, this one?
- I can't wait for Carmen
to get here.
- Wow.
Good morning, everybody.
[together]
Good morning.
- Last night looked
so beautiful.
Did you guys have fun?
[together]
Yeah.
- Well, it's time to really get
to know each other even better.
Don't be afraid to date
a bunch of people to find out
who's right for you.
There's nothing wrong with that,
which I know
a little something about.
[laughs]
So that's what today
is all about.
Today everyone is gonna get
that chance
to find someone to spend
some time with.
Singles, it's your turn
- Finally.
- Later on tonight
it's singles' choice.
[together]
Whoo.
They're gonna pick who they want
to have dinner with.
- I'ma spice it up
and change it up
a little bit tonight for dinner.
You know what I mean?
We get control.
And I'm gonna
make it interesting.
- Thanks, Carmen.
- I'll see ya.
- Bye.
- Bye.
- You know, I feel like my game
is tight for Nicole,
and Jaymie, you know,
I want them to fight over me,
and I feel it coming.
I'm down to be the villain,
of course.
Like, at the end of the day,
you know,
nice guys finish last,
and I'm definitely
not gonna be that one,
so...
- Next time on "Ex Isle"...
Tonight it's singles' choice.
Margo and Drea picked Freddie.
Who will you be going
to dinner with?
- I'm gonna fight for Freddie.
Like, what the [bleep]?
And I actually try
to let somebody [bleep] in,
and you gonna [bleep] play me?
At this point,
I'm pissed.
- Nicole,
where are you going?
- I'm about to turn
the [bleep] up.
- Ooh.
- I think the dynamic has
definitely changed between us.
