On the run from D-Structs and D-Stroy, the Trux devise a plan to build an awesome hideaway so they can lead a rebellion from a safe, secure location.

[both roaring]

[Xee] Someone's coming.

Our someones?

we got to hide from?

[Click-Clack] Uh, how was the ore run?

[sighs] Less like an ore run and...

More like a rescue.

We almost needed a rescue.

Not sure this qualifies as "some."

[sighs] Life's definitely more complicated
with the D-Struction Twins

and their Dreadtrux running the crater.

Complicated and painful.

[Revvit] We are lucky Xee knew
about the hidden forest.

At times like these,
a safe haven is most welcome.

Yeah, but how long
are we gonna live like this?

My mound was full of gearwigs.

Parts all over the ground.

[groans]
Pebble blankets instead of rock blankets.

We're Reptools and Dinotrux.

-What do we do?

What's the first thing we built
when we got together in the crater?

We're gonna build a bridge
to rescue Dozer!

It would certainly make our new situation
more comfortable.

[Reptool growls overhead]

We could incorporate an ore station
and bays for everyone.

[Scraptors screech]

[D-Stroy and D-Structs roaring]

[growls]

for saving us once again.

[Scraptools grunting]

They say you can judge a Trux
by the company he keeps.

[grunts]

It's the rust dust stuck to their feet.

This Scraptor must have
a keen sense of smell.

I think we should keep it.

Why search for Ty's hiding spot,

when with a bit of rust dust,

they can lead our little friend
right to it.

Skrap-It, take care of the Scraptor.

And if he gets away, you'll be scrap.

[Skrap-It grunting]

What's the plan?

First, we mine some ore, a lot of ore.

[all grunting]

[rumbling]

[Dozer] Look out!

-[Ton-Ton] Dude!

It appears the ground here is too soft
for the weight of our design.

its own challenges.

Or a Dozeratops in a mound.

I suggest wood to build lighter.

What about lighter stone or cement?

If it means we can build taller,
I'm all for that.

If we build into some
of the natural caves,

we can have more space
and a smaller building.

And with all these forest materials
and some help from the Tortools,

it could be camouflaged, too.

Yes. A hidden base in a hidden forest.

We can use the light rock in my mound.

[Dozer] Oops, forgot the gearwigs.

On second thought, Dozer,
we'll leave it here.

this area to the gearwigs.

excavating all the ore

for miles around the rock depot.

That does not sound good.

They're gonna keep the ore

until all the Trux there agree
to help them.

-[Proptop's blades whirring]

[munching]

Uh, dudes, I think the wagon's leaking.

There's this dust all over it.

Deposits of it are uncovered
after rains or severe winds.

Proptop probably kicked it up
with her rotors.

fighting for the Trux and tools
on the inside.

There's a Scraptor heading
towards the hidden forest.

We can handle that with our eyes closed.

is Skrap-It.

Fine, we can handle that
with our eyes open.

Okay, but then it gets
even worse than that.

I don't know.

But following the Scraptor and Skrap-It

are D-Structs and D-Stroy!

How did they find us, Click-Clack?

Ace thinks the Scraptor
is sniffing out a trail.

That is it.

The rust dust.

I bet it is following the trail.

And I bet us rolling through it
was no accident.

We led them right to us.

What do we do now--run?

We could do that.

-Fight?
-Or we could do that.

But then D-Structs and D-Stroy will know
the location of our renegade base.

But if we run, we lose the base anyway.

That rust trail leads straight here.

Waldo's right. And Rev's right.

How in the crater can they both be right?

It's a new world, Dozer.
We can't run, and we can't fight.

What's left?

The renegade way.

We adapted to the forest
and built a new kind of garage.

But we are still confronting D-Structs
the old way.

Exactly. With the two Trux Brothers,
it's not enough to be strong or fast.

We need to be stealthy, too.

We've got to get those Trux so lost
and confused,

they'll never look for us here again.

It must be a good plan
because I'm already confused.

Me too, little dude.

We will use their hunting Scraptor
against them.

Nailed it, Rev.

Dozer, Ton-Ton, you need to scrape up
a lot of rust dust fast.

We tools are going flower picking.

[sighs]

I'd rather scrape up rust dust.

Let's stealth it up!

[faint rumbling]

Did you hear that? Sounds like Trux.

We are getting close.

[Skrap-It yelling]

[roars]

Hey, Sniffy. Not so fast!

[Skrap-It grunting]

A Dozeratops mound.

He wants to go in.

He really wants to go in.

I bet it's a secret entrance.

Now what do you say, brother?

Let's destroy them.

[both grunting]

Hmm? What the...

Gearwigs!

It was a trap!

[grunting]

That was a terrible plan, brother.

[roaring]

Better they have to deal
with gearwigs than me.

Yeah, this adapting thing
may not be so bad.

Now we've got a safe place to live.

And help other Trux.

And maybe give those D-Brothers
a headache.
