Thirteen celebrity and pro-dancer couples compete for the fourth week of the competition.
We're here tonight to speak
to you about a problem that is
affecting so many aspiring
dancers.
A problem so big, we have to
speak up.
The problem we're speaking
about is judges' comments.
Judges' comments affect us g
a lot of self-reflecting.

My mama and I used to listen to
it around the house on Saturday
mornings and it always reminds
me of my mama, and family, my
brother, and fun and
togetherness.
That's what tonight's show is
all about.
Our stars will share some really
emotional stories about
exceptional people and times in
their lives.
Plus, reunited on tv in a very
special way for the first time
since live events went on hold,
the backstreet boys!

It's aggressive, it's beautiful,
when it's done well.
These rehearsals are
extremely tough.

It's like a foot combination at
every turn and every stop.
I'm in deep water. No!
I'm pushing nelly a little
bit harder this week.
I have to get the steps, and
get the hands with the steps.
The judges don't want to see
anything safe anymore.

That's why I'm pushing it.
But we're not going to win if
I can't get it.
We're definitely sweating a
lot more.
There's a lot of pressure.
But I'm doing whatever you
tell me to do, believe that.
I don't know if this will be my
breakout dance. I hope so.

And one of them is to be a mom.
I had ideas of having a family
and being a wife that haven't
exactly panned out the way that
I wish that they had.
I went through a very public
divorce.
Doing this, it sets me up for
success so I am able to have the
best chance with the right

It's just taking your power
back in the situation.
Before, I was scared, what if
somebody sees me?
What if I'm outed?

power in it.
I'm doing it, and people should
bond together.
A lot of women do it, and there

challenge in my life, you pick

When the fire is at my feet,
I won't just survive, I'll
thrive.
My story is one that created
change in the world, moved the
needle for equal rights forward,
when I fell in love with ellen
degeneres.
My movie premiere, I said I was
taking ellen as my date.
I was told if I took ellen, I
would lose my fox contract.
She took my hand and said, do
what they say.
I said, no, thanks.
I took ellen to the premiere, I
was ushered out by security and
told I was not allowed to go to
the afterparty for fear they
would get pictures of me with a
woman. It was unbelievable.
I had no idea.
She was warning me, this will
happen, this will happen.
I was in a relationship with
ellen for 3 1/2 years, and the
stigma attached to that
relationship was so bad, I was
fired from my multimillion
dollar picture deal.
I did not work in a studio
picture for ten years.
Thank you for sacrificing
your career and your life.
You're such an inspiration.

posted of my motorcycle.
I needed a motorcycle for a
shoot, so I tagged my co-workers
in that picture.
I sent her a dm, and I said,
want to go for a ride?
Which I thought was very slick.
Her response was, ha. Duh.
From that moment on, I knew this
was the girl for me.
Watching him with that smile
on his face, I'm in awe.
Apparently he's been a closeted
ballroom dancer his whole life.
I'm dedicating this dance to

Everybody in my family did.
My family is from puerto rico,
and my grandmother immigrated
in the '50s to the states for a
better life.
She was so brave, to come here.
It's pretty amazing what can
happen in one generation.
My grandma slept on plantain
leaves.
Now my cousins are professors
and doctors.
My grandmother passed away in
2006.
Anytime I get scared, I just
have to remember all the
incredible courage she had.
She taught me anything is
possible if you do the hard
work. And I will absolutely be
dancing, thinking about her,
sending her all my love.
