Episode Title: "Bored Games"

Aired on:

Uuuunnnnh.

Uuuunnnnh.

- Uuuunhnhnnn.
- Uuuunhnhnnn.

So bored.

This rain
is such a bummer.

You're always saving the day, Craig.

Save us.

Well, nothing beats
rainy-day boredom

like a good board game!

[ Chuckles ]
You see what I did there?

What about y'all?
Did you guys see it?

They saw the joke, Craig!
Uuuuuugh!

Any who, let's play
some Cavity Land!

Yeah, we can't play that.
Most of those cards are missing.

What?! No!
[ Rattling ]

Oh, you're right, it does sound
a bit empty in here.

I feel empty...

on fun fuel.

Guys, it's all good.
We got plenty of options!

Topple Tower, Pay Up, Spellble,

Moja, Battlebarn,
Oh Chute!,

and even
Hangry Hangry Honey Badgers.

So, which one do you guys
wanna play?

Considering that we're missing
pieces for every game...

none of them.

What?!
No way!

Wow,
only four Moja cards?

Just the board
and a few letters for Spellble.

Geez, no more corncraft carriers
in Battlebarn?

Well, I guess we are missing
a lot of pieces for our games.

How did this happen?

Rawr!
Raaaawr!

Raawr!

Listen, man, you can kick
all the pieces you want,

but you still
gotta pay up.

The stump's right there.

If we move the board inside,

we can continue our game
of Careful tomorrow.

Sounds good.
Grab a hold.

Careful now. Careful.

Care... Gah!

Well, I was gonna
win anyway.

Craig:
And then there was that one time

Shaq-Squatch came to the Creek
and just took a piece.

[ Gasps ]

[ Chuckles ]
Tell whoever you want.

They'll never
believe you.

And we still
don't believe you!

Point is, we need to take
better care of our games.

Rest in peace
to all our missing pieces.

There's only one thing
to do now.

Destroy them.

Waaah!
Hold on!

Just 'cause they're
missing a few pieces

doesn't mean these games
are useless.

I mean, we could still cobble
together a game of Topple Tower.

You just like Topple Tower
because you always win.

Mwah!
So?

Oh, Cavity Land
was my Topple Tower.

Nobody spins the lollipop wheel
like big daddy JP!

I don't know why
I called myself that.

Hey, you know what?
What if we make a new game?

A new game?
Yeah.

Here, take these.

Okay.

But don't look at them!

So here it is.

We'll each have a few
game pieces and cards.

We'll draw one at random
if we need it.

And we're gonna need it
for the mega-game!

Behold!

Ooooooohhh!

Okay,
this could be fun.

But if it's not,
it shall be destroyed.

[ Thunder rumbles ]

[ Sighs ]
After the rain.

So it is said
and so it shall beeeee!

Let's do this!

[ Gasps ]

[ Gasps ]

Wait, we're just
in the Creek!

Well, at least
it's not raining.

And there's some oversized
white marbles.

That's coo-oo-I.

Uh, yeah, but this is
our collective imaginations.

I thought it'd be
more exciting.

Guys!
Check it out.

I got me
a dice bubble watch.

Ugh!
No fair!

How come you get
to control the dice?

Because I made up
the rules.

So here's how it works...
In order to win the mega-game,

we have to roll the dice

and make it through
each individual game

to get to the top
of the Topple Tower.

Which, of course, will be
no problem for yours truly.

Okay, okay,
I like this setup.

So what game
are we in now?

[ Rumbling ]

JP:
A giant honey badger?

That badger
looks hungry.

And angry.

It's hangry!

It's Hangry Hangry
Honey Badgers!

[ All screaming ]

Another one?

[ All screaming ]

We're surrounded!
What do we do?

Quick!
Feed them some marbles!

[ Grunts ]

[ Grunts ]

[ Grunts ]

[♪]

How could they
still be hangry?

Maybe they're
emotional eaters.

Ugh! Quick, roll us
out of here, Craig!

I can't! The dice bubble won't
pop until we beat the board!

Oh, why did you
make that rule?

Because games need rules.

Try picking a card!

Ah!

It's from Cavity Land.

I got... a Molar Bear?

[ Growls ]

[ Screams ]

[ Pop! ]

[ All cheering ]

It looks like I brushed up
on my skills.

Yahn-yahn-yahn!

Nice pick, Kelsey.

Oh!
Looks like we can roll now.

[ Pops ]

4.

[ Clicking ]

Oooh,
can I pop the bubble?

Sure, have at it, JP.

[ Popping ]

Wow, popping this
is really addicting.

Uh, JP, you should
probably slow down.

Yeah, yeah, yeah,
yeah, yeah!

[ Clicking ]

Uh-oh.

[ All screaming ]

Oh, shoot!

What game
are we in now?

Oh Chute!

[ All screaming ]

We gotta find a way
to stop sliding!

Gimme something good!

Oof!

Ah!

I can't catch
anything I summon!

Ah. [ Gasps ]

Hey, guys!
I got one!

It's a Moja reverse card!

We're going in reverse!

[ Rewinding ]

[♪]

[ Beep ]

Oh. Wow.
That was fun.

But it gave me
a real big wedgie.

Quick thinking, JP.

Oh Chute! Was never
my game anyway.

I'm more of a Topple Tower
kind of guy.

'Cause you know
Craig never topples the tower.

Yeah, we know!

Just roll.

Okay, okay.

[ Pops ]

Uhhh...

What game is this?

Endless farmland,
needles in haystacks,

produce cannons?

Oh, no.
We're in Battlebarn!

[ Cannon fires, whistling ]

Oh, no!
Somebody sunk our battlebarn!

Quick!
Launch a counterattack!

The cannon's empty!
And we're all out of corn cobs!

[ Gasps ]
The silver kitty from Pay Up!

Hi, buddy!

Load it in, JP!

No! We are not putting
Jack Meowington into a cannon!

Then I guess
it's up to me.

[ Groans ]

All: Aww!

Kelsey: Spellble letters?
JP: That's a grandpa game!

Oh, no, these letters
are the worst.

You... You can't spell anything
with them!

They're
practically numbers!

They're what was left
in the box.

We really have to take

- better care of these games.
- [ Cannon fires ]

Okay, okay, okay!
Don't panic.

I'll spell something
that we can fire.

Now, let's see here.

Uh...

"Qwixrp"?

Uh...
"sirpx"?

Wait, I can do this!

No more spelling bee!

Letters in the hole!

[ Cannon fires ]

Voice: Aw, man,
you sirpx'd my battlebarn!

- Yay! We did it!
- We won!

That was my home.

- Aww.
- Yeah, well...

- We had to.
- That's the rules of the game.

Sorry.

Craig:
It's glowing again.

Feeling pretty good
about this one.

[ Gasps ]

Yes! Yes!

We made it
to Topple Tower!

We're at the end
of the game!

Okay, so...

why are we standing
waist-deep in water?

[ Thunder crashes ]

[ Chirps ]

Aah! It must be leaking
through the stump!

All our games
are getting soaked!

Aah! We have to move the game
so it doesn't get destroyed!

But we can't get out of the game
to move it until we win it.

Maybe there's a piece
or a card that'll help.

"Report
to debtors' prison"?

How old is this game?

Aah!

JP!

[ Snapping fingers ]

Aah!
We're all out of game pieces!

Craig?

Oh, no, he's determined.

[ Grunting ]

We've come too far
to turn back now, Kelsey.

[ Grunts ]

This... is... my moment!

Ah!

[ Screams ]

Craig! There's no way we're
getting to the top of that tower

before the stump
gets flooded!

So how else are we
supposed to win this?

Craig, do we have to
win the game,

or do we just
have to end it?

No, I can't.
I won't.

Craig doesn't topple.

Whatever's left of our games is
getting soggier by the second.

There's not gonna be
a tower left to topple!

But I always win
at Topple Tower.

That's why I make you guys
play with me.

We let you win, Craig.

Wait, what?

Look,
this is bigger than us!

Bigger than winning
or losing!

We have to do it
for the love...

the love of the games.

Kelsey, if we're really
gonna do this...

let's do it with style.

And fast, 'cause this water
keeps drippin' on me.

[ Ting! ]

[ Both grunting ]

Kelsey:
Topple already!

I'm just too good.
The tower won't topple for me.

No, you can do it!

You are terrible
at this game!

I believe in you!

[ Both scream ]

Ah!
We're alive!

[ Both cheer ]

Quick!
Move the game!

Phew, a little wet
but still safe.

Heh, I'm glad we didn't destroy
these game pieces after all.

Even though there's a lot
missing in these games,

there's still plenty
to have fun with.

Let's just not lose
anything else.

Wait. Speaking of losing things,
where's JP?

So, what are you in for?

Embezzlement!
