the lyrics to that one.
But itbut itbut
it had a good beat.
I can't watch this.
No!
You are a champion.
You are a winner.
You're an idiot.
My God,
you just smashed it.
Smashed it, smashed it,
bish, bosh, bang.
Smashed it.
- I just love you.
- You're the best.
I'm gonna be honest with you.
Um...
I didn't like it that much.
I actually loved it!
Here's your host tonight,
Terry Crews!
What's up, America?
Okay, I've got
three words for you
World-class talent.
Ten acts from "Got Talent"
shows around the world
are coming up for the mother
of all talent battles.
They're fighting for just
two spots in our finals.
One will go to tonight's.
Golden Buzzer.
Yes.
And the other act will be
put through by our voters
from all 50 states of America.
They are the voice
of the people
from all across the country.
Now, we've got four
other voices here too.
Make some noise for your.
"Champions" judges.
Now, Simon, you have got
the Golden Buzzer tonight.
Hello.
Look at Simon's face.
- The fact that he has.
- The Golden Buzzer.
- Is a little nerve-racking.
- Yeah.
Exciting.
Okay, now look.
We've got ten acts coming up.
Only two can go
into the finals.
It is on!
It's "America's Got Talent".
The Champions"!
Did I say I'm excited?
This is exciting.
This is "Champions."
Top 50 in the world.
Being around all these very,
very talented people
is incredibly nerve-racking.
It's hard when you're
against adults as well,
- when you're only.
- A kid like me.
Yeah.
I'm Issy Simpson,
I'm from Blackpool, England,
and I was on "Britain's."
"Got Talent" season 11.
What do you do?
I'm going to be doing magic.
My grandpa teaches me.
So that means your
grandfather is a wizard.
Yes.
Right.
"Britain's Got Talent"
changed my life forever.
This is like real-life.
"Harry Potter."
You are honestly a little star.
I was just this little girl
in Blackpool who did magic.
All of a sudden, I had fans.
I even got a phone call
from Daniel Radcliffe.
He's Harry Potter.
He said,
"I hope someday we'll meet."
That was absolutely magical.
Right now, I think
you're gonna win.
The winner is Tokio Myers!
My mouth dropped.
I was sad that I didn't win.
But being on "America's."
The Champions,"
I get to try once again.
Okay, studio.
Here we go.
- I'm up against.
- The best of the best.
From all over the world,
and it's very scary
for a little girl doing magic.
- Here we go.
- Ten seconds.
I was runner-up before, but
now I want to win this time.
- Issy.
- Hello.
You look even smaller.
Maybe the stage is higher but...
- Probably.
- It looks like you shrunk,
But you haven't.
- Now, introduce yourself,
- please.
I'm Issy Simpson,
I was on "Britain's Got Talent"
in 2017,
and I was the runner-up.
And how old
were you then, Issy?
- I was eight then...
- Eight.
- But now I'm ten.
- Wow.
- Issy is a champion.
- In my eyes.
I can't wait to see what
you're gonna do tonight.
- Yes.
- Good luck.
Thank you.
Hello, everyone.
Tonight I'm going to show
you something with
my two favorite things,
magic and reading,
using my three favorite books.
My first favorite book is
Colin Davies' "Mathamagical."
Mel B, please, can you
look through the book
and check
if each page is different?
Yes, it is.
My second favorite book
is Enid Blyton,
"The Magical Faraway Tree."
- Heidi.
- Yes.
- Please, can you look.
- Through the book.
- And check.
- If each page is different?
Will do.
My third favorite book
is "How to Make a Million."
Please, can you look through
the book and check
if each page is different?
It's also my favorite book.
Probably the first book
you ever read, Simon.
Howie, please, can you pick
up my box and put it
- on the floor for me, please?
- On the floor?
Yes, just behind you.
Behind me?
Yeah.
Um, lit's...
- Mel B, do you want.
- To go and help him?
- Yeah.
- It's really heavy.
- Girl power.
- I can't lift it.
Exactly.
No, ithe can't move it.
What is going on?
- How is that possible?
- Stop!
Okay.
Please, can you both
sit back down for me?
All right.
She's a little bossy.
Show off.
How is that even possible?
Howie, I'm going
to show you a card trick.
- But it's a card trick.
- Like no other.
As you can see,
all the cards are different.
Yes.
I'm going to turn them
facedown,
and I'd like you to touch
the back of any card.
- There.
- Are you sure?
I am.
I'd like you to look
at your card,
remember it,
and don't show anyone else.
- Don't show anybody else?
- Anyone.
Okay.
Got it.
Now, Howie,
there are three books.
Please choose one book.
"I Want to Make a Million."
"How to Make a Million"
has around 674 pages.
Please, can you choose a number
between 1 and 674?
126.
Simon, please,
can you turn the book
to page 126 for me,
please?
Now choose one word
and in a loud voice,
tell everybody what it is.
Excellent.
Excellent.
See this blackboard?
Before the show,
I wrote a word on it.
Watch.
Stop!
What?
Howie, you chose a card.
Yeah.
For the first time, Howie,
what was the card you chose?
It is the three of diamonds.
Watch.
Amazing.
I've been Issy Simpson.
Thank you.
Good night!
How did she do that?
Wow.
- Wow.
- Howie, what did you think?
Issy, number one,
you're proving that Britain
does have talent.
Thank you.
Number two, that Britain
has adorable talent.
With ten acts,
only two acts can go through,
but you are setting the bar
for these ten acts.
I wish you the best of luck.
Thank you so much.
Mel, what did you think?
You are absolutely
adorable.
- Thank you.
- My gosh.
Just the way that you
presented everything
was just so seamless,
full of confidence,
very, very sassy,
and your magic was magic.
- I don't even know.
- How you did it.
- It was mind-blowing.
- Well done.
Thank you.
- You are adorable.
- And brilliant.
Heidi.
I thought this was excellent.
I think you are
a little firecracker.
Thank you.
- You definitely have.
- That special something.
- That you have to have.
- When you're an entertainer.
- You definitely have that.
- Thank you.
Great job.
Every time I see you,
Issy, I don't know.
- I mean, you have got.
- Magical powers.
- I mean, that was incredible.
- Thank you.
One thing I've always really,
really admired about you
is that you really have this
incredible competitive spirit.
- Thank you.
- No, I love that about you.
You were the runner-up,
and now you come on to take
the best of the world,
and I have a feeling
the 50 states,
they might put you through
to the final after that.
Thank you.
Aww.
Thank you.
You realize that kid just
made everything much harder?
Yeah.
Yeah.
- Now, last time,
- you were runner-up.
Do you think you're gonna make
it to the finals this time?
Um, I hope so.
It is like a little
Harriet Potter live show.
It is.
- Next act to the stage,
- please.
Next act to the stage.
- Who has the.
- Golden Buzzer today?
Simon.
God, I love that so much.
Here we go.
- For us,
- performing in front of Simon,
We've never performed
for him before.
- It's pretty exciting,
- and the fact that he has.
- The Golden Buzzer.
- Is nerve-racking.
Yeah.
We're the Texas Tenors
from Houston, Texas.
And we were on season four
of "America's Got Talent."
Before the show, I mean,
I was unemployed,
and these guys were working
a construction job.
- We were struggling.
- To pay the bills.
And supporting our families.
III had no money left
in my account.
I remember going through
all my baseball cards,
and I sold them for,
like, 300 bucks
- just to get.
- A little extra money.
- And then I just thought.
- In my mind,
"There's gotta be something
better than this."
So when we had
the chance to audition
for "America's Got Talent,"
we thought, you know,
"This is our chance to make
our dreams come true."
But it was not that easy.
- We can still see.
- It's very raw.
The judges were
really tough on us
all the way through.
- You gotta do something.
- Worthy.
Of the Las Vegas stage.
That's not gonna get you
through to the final.
We thought, "Well, this is"
- a once-in-a-lifetime.
- "Opportunity,".
- And we did not take it.
- For granted.
We had to work really hard
to continue on.
That was fantastic.
Whoo!
You guys are without
a doubt the front runner
to win this competition.
- And we got all the way.
- To the finals,
And we thought, you know,
"We could make it."
But after all
the hard work...
Finishing in fourth place,
the Texas Tenors.
- It was tough.
- It was.
But our lives changed
overnight from the experience
of "America's Got Talent."
So we started touring
and doing shows
all over the country.
The onethe one thing
we didn't do was win.
Being on "America's Got."
The Champions,"
we are getting
a second opportunity
to actually win the show.
I mean, that's validation
of the Texas Tenors.
- That's prettypretty.
- Incredible.
I know who they are.
Wow.
It's the Texas Tenors.
My God.
- How are you?
- Great.
Fantastic.
- You were on.
- "America's Got Talent".
- The year before I joined.
- Correct.
- Talk about how your.
- Life changed.
- After "America's Got Talent."
- Completely.
I mean, we've been touring
full-time for almost ten years.
Wow.
And we actually debuted
two albums at number one on the.
"Billboard" classical charts.
Good for you!
- We've been able to provide.
- For our families,
- Which we were struggling.
- With before.
And coming back here
is just fantastic.
Good.
Well, good luck.
- We can't wait to hear you.
- Thank you.
- Show us why you're.
- A champion.
Thank you.
Whoo!
That was great.
Whoo!
That was amazing.
Heidi.
- I thought it was.
- Really beautiful,
Really, really pretty.
It's maybe a bit
on the schmaltzier side,
but I love schmaltzy,
- and I think the audience.
- Enjoyed it too.
Loved the harmonizing too.
Thank you.
Mel?
I liked it when you were
all singing at once,
'cause youyour voices
blended in and you filled
the whole entire room.
Thank you.
- I actually really,
- really liked it.
- I think your voices are great.
- Thanks, Mel.
So thank you.
I gotta tell you that you
guys are champions
and deserve to be here.
You have set a bar very high.
I wish you the best of luck.
I loved it.
Thank you.
Simon.
You know what?
I really, really, really
wanted you to come back
and do this show.
But you want my honest opinion?
I think you got
better with age.
- I genuinely do.
- Wow.
Thank you so much.
You have an amazing
chemistry about you.
You're very nice guys as well.
I really like you.
So thank you.
Thank you so much.
Thanks, everyone.
I was so nervous to sing
for Simon andand the fact
- that he really liked our act,
- that justwow.
- Hits you right here.
- Yeah.
Yeah.
- I, too, wish I'd been.
- On that show with them.
They're great.
- Because you would have.
- Signed them if...
Well, not just that.
I actually think,
they're actually very good.
- They are.
- They're incredibly likable.
Right.
- Now see what the 50 states.
- Have to say.
- All right.
- Thank you.
All right, you guys.
Thank you, thank you.
This next guy was
my Golden Buzzer.
- Where did he get to?
- Second.
He came in runner-up to...
You know Paul Zerdin?
- Yeah.
- The ventriloquist.
The person who beat you
is here tonight.
- He is.
- How do you feel about that?
- It's a rematch.
- It is.
- It is a little bit.
- Of a rematch.
- Gutsy coming back.
- What?
Gutsy.
Here we go!
What's up?
Drew Lynch, welcome back.
- Hihi, everybody.
- Hello.
- So you were the runner-up.
- In 2015.
Yeah.
- What have you been up to.
- Since we last saw you?
"America's Got Talent," it...
Itlike, it built such
a platform for me in a way
that was, you know,
- more than just be getting to...
- Toto do comedy.
I'm giving people a voice who,
you know, have to overcome
a daily obstacle.
This show taught me that
that waswas my talent.
It'sit's to continue
to overcome adversity.
Well said.
Very well said.
My name is Drew Lynch,
I'ml'm 27,
I'm from Inlndianapolis,
and I'm a comedian.
I am the runner-up from,
season ten, 2015.
I, uhl havel - have a stutter.
That's whatthat's...
That's what that is.
Aboutabout seven years ago,
I was playing
on a softball team.
Aa grounder had blunted me
in thein the throat,
so I went home
and I went to sleep.
And then I woke up
the n-next day with a...
- With awith.
- A speech impediment.
My whole life
changed from there.
And I'lll'll always
h-have a stutter.
To not be able to communicate
with people the same way
felt very like this
isthis is the end.
You can only hang your head
forforfor so long
before you have to pull
yourseself up.
And that's howthat's how
my comedy career b-began.
I wanna get toto where
people ststart to use
mymy voice asas the voice
of their G-G-GPS.
For someone to say,
"Hey, I believe in you"...
When up to that moment
I really hadn't,
I...
Man.
Ininin the final when it
was down to Paul Zerdin and I
on the stage,
I've never felt that
level ofthat level
of pressure.
I wanted to win sso badly.
- A comedian hadhad.
- Never won before.
Paul Zerdin!
When I didn't,
that was pretty devastating.
I will never forget
coming in second.
- On ouron our show,
- we're the only...
We're the only winner and
runner-up from the same season.
- Yeah.
- So it's like...
- It's like ait's like.
- A rematch almost.
When "America's Got Talent".
"The Champions" asked me
to come back and do the show,
I was sol was so excited.
I get to go up against
Paul again.
Here'shere's an opportunity
to prove myself.
Let me try to proppropel
myself that much further.
Let meput me to the test.
I'm not ready to stop.
Thisthis isthis
is just the beginning.
It'sit's a lot of pressure,
but I've been prep...
Preparing as hard as I can,
and this time,
I want the title winner,
"America's Got Talent
The Champions,".
Drew Lynch.
When you were
on the show last time,
you came second.
Have you come up with something
new that now makes you think
you could win this show?
Yeah, I'm thinking...
I'm thinking puppets.
Yeah.
That works.
Okay, good luck.
- We feel that.
- He's really gunning.
For the winning slot this time.
So we're gonna raise our game,
aren't we, Zerdin?
- That's right.
- Yeah.
Yes.
Hello, hi, thank you.
How ishow is everybody?
Very good.
I love perperperforming.
Um, you know, some people,
sometimes they find my stand-up
to be a littlea
little jarring because...
Because I... 'cause I stutter,
but I prefer to think
that you'reyou're getting
the joke and...
And also the remix.
So even if you hear a joke
that'sthat's not for you,
- you can be like,
- "Well, I didn't..."
"I didn't like the lyrics"
to that one,
but itbut itbut it
"had a good beat."
As if there's not enough wrong
withwith my mouth,
I also wear, um, Invisalign,
thethe invisible braces.
Oror as I like to call it,
a grill forfor white people.
Just rapping onon the hood
of my Prius.
Um, aaavocado toast.
I don't know.
What I realize isis when
you lose your Invisalign
atat, say, like a restaurant
and you go back,
you sound like aa
crazy person.
- Like, I went back.
- To the restaurant,
Andand in a frenzy,
I said to the waitress,
I was like, "Hi, hi."
III just ate here
and II think I lost
"my Invisalign."
She's like, "I didn't see you"
wearing aa retainer."
And I was like, "Well, you..."
You can't see it!
"It'sit'sit's invisible!"
- "Have you...
- Have you seen it?"
So glad you guys,
g-g-got that joke,
- but, you know,
- even if you didn't,
Itit still had a good beat.
Thank you, guys
soso much.
No, no!
Why?
Hey, thanks!
Aww.
You're tootootoo sweet.
- Standing ovation?
- Yeah.
That'sthat's a good sign.
Good for him, - not for us.
Drew, I'm really angry at
you! I'm really angry at you!
That was too short!
I wanted more,
more and more and more.
You are so funny and so quick.
Aww, aww.
I just love you.
I love everything about you.
Heidi, what did you think?
Well, there's only a few
comedians that I really,
really love,
and you are definitely
a one of them.
I really, really love you.
I mean, that was hilarious.
Thththank you.
You're welcome.
Simon, what did you think?
For me, it wasn't the best
performance we've seen you do.
But you have inspired
so many people
and you're a great guy.
You're really funny.
I really respect you.
So well done.
Thathank you.
Drew, I can't tell you
how proud I am of you.
You are not only
a great entertainer
but a great spokesperson
and a great example
and I gotta tell you something
You have grown
by leaps and bounds
- and you are truly.
- A professional,
Truly a champion.
I hope that all the 50 states
are looking at you,
because you surely deserve
to be in the finals.
I love you, buddy.
Thththank you, Howie.
Thathathank you, guys.
Thathank you.
See, that makes me laugh.
Yeah, a lot.
- That makes me proper.
- Belly laugh.
- I'd like to see him.
- In the final.
- Yeah.
- Great job, Drew.
- We will see you later.
- On tonight.
Hey, Paul.
As a kid growing up,
I was never quite
- one of the gang.
- Hey, Paul.
My friends were out playing
football and I put together
- my puppet shows when I...
- Probably when I was about.
- Eight years old.
- Hey, Paul.
- Your guests are waiting.
- At your table.
Thank you.
No one took me seriously.
Zerdin.
Finally, we're starving!
Yeah, I haven't got
much time left.
Sorry, chaps.
Crazy morning.
And then I won.
"America's Got Talent."
Paul Zerdin!
I had been working
for so long for something,
and then winning season ten
absolutely just kicked
my career into orbit.
- I've got.
- A headline show in Las Vegas.
People are paying money
to come and see me
and my silly little puppets.
That was the moment.
You used to be a nerd
who played with dolls.
- And "AGT"
- changed all of that.
Now you're just a famous
nerd who plays with dolls.
- Boys, don't you.
- Remember what it felt like.
When they said my name,
we won this thing?
Now we have that same
opportunity again.
Yeah, but this time not just
to be the best in America
but the best in the world.
Coming in as a recent winner
has some real pressure
attached to it.
And once again, I'm
competing against Drew Lynch.
I fully intend to tto take
you down, Paul Zerdin.
He has his eye on the prize.
But then again, - so do I.
- I have a reputation.
- To uphold here.
I'm gonna do everything I can
to make sure that I keep it.
I want that champion title.
Paul!
We have a winner!
I love it, guys.
Good evening, everyone.
It's great to see you, judges.
Nice to see you.
It seems only yesterday that
I was doing season ten
and I have to say,
it's lovely to be back.
It really is.
The fact that you won
and you've come back
- to compete again,
- I mean, respect.
Thank you.
I believe that I've
got more to show you.
Good.
- I wanna do something.
- Tonight that I don't think.
Has ever been done before,
with a ventriloquist act.
- Ooh.
- Wow.
We'd love that.
Good luck.
I lostl lost to him.
Paul Zerdin?
I'ml'ml'm so honored
and humbled and upset.
Ventriloquism,
it's an amazing thing,
- and I love being able.
- To do it because everything.
In everyday life now talks.
- All over the world, you have.
- The talking elevator.
I like to go into an elevator
that doesn't talk
and pretend it does.
- And the busier the elevator,
- the better.
In I go.
"Doors closing."
That was me.
"Going up."
Get out, fatty.
"You're too heavy."
And this is my favorite bit.
"Cable detaching."
- You know, being.
- A ventriloquist,
You can also have a lot of fun
if you get yourself a puppet.
Zerdin!
Speak of the devil.
- Would you like.
- To meet my friend?
Yeah!
Then please welcome back
my friend Sam.
We love Sam.
Remember Sam.
- Whoo-hoo!
- Hello!
Hi.
I said hello!
- Hello!
- Hi.
Well, this is fantastic.
- We'rehold on a minute.
- Hang on, hang on.
Where are we?
- Well, we're on.
- "America's Got Talent."
- Yes, I know.
- Wait a minute.
- We won "America's Got Talent."
- That's right.
And we're back.
We're doing it again?
Yes.
What the hell went wrong?
- No, no, no,
- this is "The Champions."
- "The Champions"?
- Yes.
- You'd better have.
- Something special, Zerdin.
I think I have.
You know, Howie always says,
"You gotta up your game."
- Yes, that's right.
- So what are you gonna do?
What are you gonna do?
- Well, I think I've got.
- Something very special.
- Yes?
- Yes.
I've got a little ditty.
Sitting there nervous.
It'sit's not - what you think.
- Just watch.
- What, your ditty?
No.
Watch my face.
Here we go.
Too close.
Here we go.
- That's great.
- They loved that.
Wait, - I'm not finished yet.
- No.
- Now what I want you to do...
Is to hum the ditty.
I don't want to.
Just do it.
All right.
- It's not working.
- Wait.
What we do now, okay?
While you do that...
Yeah, I'm gonna do
a beatbox drum beat.
A what?
A beatbox drum beat.
So I'm gonna go...
Okay?
And we're gonna do it
at the same time.
- Wow.
- Um, Zerdin?
- Yeah?
- Can I have a word?
What?
- We're not gonna.
- Do it together.
Why'd you say that?
Because it's not possible.
II believe it is.
You're an idiot.
Okay, we're gonna do this.
I'll start, you follow, okay?
Here we go.
Wow.
Whoo, we did it!
- Thank you so much.
- Good night.
Whoo-hoo!
Incredible.
That's why he won
the first time.
Thank you.
Thank you very much.
Howie.
Paul, you know,
ventriloquists have done
- very good on.
- "America's Got Talent."
I've noticed.
But you have a uniqueness
in the sense where you take
the art of ventriloquism
and play with that art form.
- And I love it.
- You make it funny.
- You are smooth.
- You are a winner.
- I wish you the best.
- Of luck on this.
Thank you.
Thank you - for showing up.
- We appreciate it.
- You're a champion.
Thank you.
Heidi.
Your act is absolutely
seamless.
It shows so much personality,
and sometimes I wonder
if you're a ventriloquist
or if you're a magician.
You had me laughing
and everyone here laughing.
- And we need to laugh more,
- so thank you for that.
Thank you.
Paul, um, obviously,
I wasn't on the show,
- but I watched.
- The show that year.
That was original,
it was funny,
- but I'm gonna be.
- Honest with you.
I don't think this was
a progression up
- from where you were before.
- Come on!
- You try and do that!
- I do!
I do!
I do.
Man.
Boo.
I was completely entertained.
I was trying to figure
out where the noises
were coming from.
It's all coming from you.
- You're already.
- A complete pro to me.
- Thank you.
- So I loved it.
You're very entertaining.
Thank you and we'll see you
a little bit later on.
Well done.
Really good.
This is your first time
in front of Simon.
- Yeah.
- What are your feelings on...
- Well, you know,
- he was honest.
He's known for his honesty,
so I take that on board
- and um, you know...
- But let me...
- Let me give you.
- A little bit of good news.
- In fact, his vote tonight.
- Doesn't count.
Right.
- Because it's about.
- The 50 states.
Yeah, sure, yeah.
And hopefully they
disagree with Simon too.
Yeah, fingers crossed.
I wanna know who's next.
It's the Moonlight Brothers.
They are the current champions
of "Denmark's Got Talent."
- When did they win?
- 2018.
- All right, you ready?
- Yeah.
Count us off, though.
Six, seven, eight.
One, two, three, four.
Yeah, hey!
You got it, man.
- Hey, come on, man.
- Yeah.
- I'm Jonathan.
- And I'm Christopher.
- And we are.
- The Moonlight Brothers.
We grew up in a small city
in Denmark called Hobro.
I began to dance
when my uncle and aunt
started a dance school.
He said, "Try dancing."
I was like, "Okay."
My big brother was really cool
and he could dance,
and I was like, "Okay, yeah."
I want to be him."
Aww.
When we was at the audition
for "Denmark's Got Talent,"
everything started
to go crazy.
We had no idea how it
will be in the end.
Then we got to the finals.
We thought that, hey...
We're gonna be number two.
- It's so great.
- It's great.
- That's great.
- That's nice.
- Yeah.
- But...
Then they shouted...
Moonlight Brothers!
- It was anan.
- Incredible feeling.
I began to cry.
Yeah, me too.
No words.
After we won.
"Denmark Got Talent,"
we was offered to do.
"Champions."
And to do what I love with
my little brother...
It was anan
incredible feeling.
- How does it feel.
- To be in America?
- Crazy, crazy.
- Really crazy.
- It's ten times bigger.
- Than Denmark,
100 times bigger.
We are up against
the best of the best.
We need to step
the game up much more.
- Yeah.
- Much more.
Being on "America's Got."
The Champions,"
we're here to defend
our winning title.
Welcome, you guys.
Thanks.
I hear that you just won.
"Denmark's Got Talent."
Yes?
Amazing!
- Are you guys really brothers?
- Yeah.
I'm the pretty one.
Why did you want to
participate in "The Champions"?
We actually grew up
seeing this show,
so being a part of this show
is just freaking us out.
- Yeah.
- It isyeah.
You're here.
- You've now taken on.
- The best of the best.
- You confident?
- Yeah, we are.
- You are?
- Yeah.
Good for you.
Good luck.
- Thank you very much.
- Thanks.
Aww.
Aww!
Group hug!
Whoa!
Melanie Brown.
- Well, well done for winning.
- "Denmark's Got Talent."
Well done, well done.
- I like the fact that.
- It is homegrown,
That you are brothers.
I like you did the acrobats.
I just expected
a little bit more.
But that's just me.
They all enjoyed it.
Howie.
You know, this show
is about family,
is about talent, to see
two brothers get together.
But Simon keeps talking
about upping the game
and upping the game,
and if I'm gonna be
totally honest,
I personally didn't love that.
I'm sorry.
But I enjoyed it.
Because I feel like you
brought the energy up to, like,
- a level.
- Yeah.
You could really feel
that in here.
And I also love the humor
part of it,
- you being a baby.
- I thought it was fun.
- And I love the group hug.
- At the end.
- That was also sweet.
- Aww.
- Very sweet.
- I liked it.
- Thank you.
- Thanks.
Simon.
- Well, I think we're all.
- Feeling the same thing.
It was really fun,
it was different,
but I think based on what
I've seen so far tonight,
I'm talking to a previous
winner who I don't think's
gonna win tonight.
Let's see what happens.
- Good luck.
- Thank you!
The truth is,
comcompeting on.
"America's Got Talent,"
they would have a tough time.
You guys have so much
originality and fun.
Let's hope that the 50 states
vote you guys in.
Thank you very much.
Welcome back to "America's."
"Got Talent" season 11.
Are you guys ready
to get to it?
I thought that was clever,
unique, funny.
Brilliant.
That was just genius.
By this time tomorrow,
everyone in America
is gonna know your name.
- You are Tape Face.
- Hi, Tape Face.
- Hi, Tape Face.
- Tape Face!
- Why do they call you.
- Tape Face?
He is Tape Face.
I believe a star
is being born
out of just pure,
utter silliness.
And I'm looking forward
to seeing what you do next.
Now, Tape Face,
to be honest...
I think it's time
to come back...
To "America's Got Talent."
Hi, Tape Face.
I want you to come back...
To "America's Got Talent."
All right, Tape Face.
It's time to come back.
Tape Face...
It's time...
To come back.
- I think you should.
- Come back.
- It's time...
- To come back.
- Come back.
- Come back.
Come back.
To "America's Got Talent."
To "America's Got Talent."
To "America's Got Talent"
tonight!
- Me?
- Yes, you.
I love when Howie
goes up there.
What does it say?
Stay weird.
Come on, Howie!
Put a little in!
What am I doing?
Move it!
- Me?
- I'ml'm out.
Get in them.
- His feet won't go through.
- The bottom.
Okay.
Is he a dustman?
Construction?
Is it "YMCA"?
- Got your own buzzer.
- Good.
Whoa!
- Thank you, thank you!
- Wow.
All right!
I just stripped on live TV!
You know what?
- First of all,
- I wanna talk to you,
But you don't talk.
But I wanna say you are
one of the most memorable acts
there has been in all the time
that I have been here.
And you actually got your own
Vegas show, didn't you?
Yes, you have your own room
called the House of Tape.
You are amazing.
- I am so thrilled that.
- You are back.
Mel, what did you think?
You know what?
I love that you got everybody
else to join in your act.
And you're just funny.
I could watch you all day long.
- It's always an absolute.
- Pleasure to see you,
So thank you.
Heidi?
You're clever, - you're funny,
You're totally original,
and I do have to tell you,
my kids are still
talking about you.
Great job.
Simon.
That was so silly,
but it was so funny, and...
- You know what was.
- The funniest?
Your tape face.
The tape on your face.
I liked that, yeah.
That was my favorite part.
I'd buy it.
Look, it's all down
to the 50 states now.
- I would love to see you.
- In the final.
Because you brought so many
happy memories back
- to me and I absolutely.
- Love you.
- So congratulations.
- Brilliant.
Mel, if only we could
do that for you.
No.
Mel becomes Tape Face,
the judge.
You are so mean.
Just try one and see.
- Get some tape for Simon.
- Yes.
Listen, man, Tape,
you did thea mo...
I was so proud to be a part
of this act, man.
Listen, we're going on
the road together,
Tape Face and the Brother.
That's how we gonna do...
Here we go,
ten seconds.
You know, it's so crazy.
Like, there's only gonna be
two people out of all ten of us
- going through.
- To the next round.
I know, that's so insane.
- It's like, how do you compare.
- A singer to a juggler.
- To a magician to a...
- I have no idea.
It's like...
My name is Kechi,
I'm 28 years old,
I live in Houston,
and I am a singer.
When I was 16 years old,
I was in a plane crash
that took the lives of 107
of 109 people aboard.
I was the only kid
who survived
out of 60 kids from my school.
It was one of the most painful
moments of my life...
- Knowing that all those kids.
- Had lost their lives.
I suffered third-degree burns
over 65% of my body.
The doctors gave me
a 30% chance of survival.
In those moments,
all I had was the next day
- and then the next day.
- And the next day.
And I remember hearing my mom
singing to me
while I was in recovery,
and music became
my ultimate distraction from
what was going on with me.
I just had no idea that
one day I would be
standing on the stage
of "America's Got Talent"
and singing.
You deserve your place here
tonight not just based
on your story but actually
on your talent.
Hearing those words
from Simon changed my life.
For the longest time,
I've been recognized
as a survivor.
But being on "America's Got."
"Talent" was the first time
that I was recognized
as a singer.
"America's Got Talent" showed
me there is life after burns.
I feel like I owe it to the
kids that lost their lives
in the accident to live
in exemplary ways
that would make those who we
lost proud if they were here.
That's why I'm here on.
"America's Got Talent
Champions."
This is my chance to follow my
dream, and I know what it means
to actually be here right now.
I didn't win last time,
and I feel like I have
found my voice.
This is my chance to prove
that I am a champion.
Kechi!
Yeah!
Yeah!
Kechi!
How are you?
I'm good, thank you.
- How's life been since.
- You've been on the show?
Tell me.
- I'm sure you remember.
- The first time I came up.
- On this stage.
- In front of y'all,
I was so shy about my voice.
I had zero confidence.
But since the show, I have
become an advocate
for all the burn survivors
with Shriners Hospital so...
Good for you.
Well, now I'm excited to hear
what you're gonna sing.
- Thank you.
- I hope you guys like it.
Okay, good luck.
Thank you.
I'm looking forward to this.
She's so fantastic.
Okay, here we go again.
Here we go.
Whoo!
Amazing.
Whoo.
They say that 99% of success
is just showing up.
You do so much more
than just show up.
You're so much more than
your songs and your sound,
more than a champion
of singing and of talent.
You're a champion of life.
Yes.
I could see how hard that
you'd been working.
There's a huge difference.
Wow.
And II just love you,
and I adore you.
- You are a survivor.
- I love you.
- Thank you so much.
- Thank you.
Kechi, I have to tell you,
I'm so excited that I get
the chance to see you again,
to hear you again.
You look beautiful,
you sounded beautiful,
and it's always a joy seeing
you on the stage.
- It was in this very theater.
- That we met you.
For the first time and you...
I remember you being very shy.
But based on what
I've seen tonight,
I'm gonna be honest with you.
Um, I didn't really
like it that much.
I actually loved it.
What?
I have always wanted
to do that for you.
You so deserve it.
This is what defines
the word champion.
Kechi, you are
so emotional right now.
Please, talk to us.
Mom, I...
My one regret was I never
got the chance to give her
the Golden Buzzer.
- You want to know.
- What a champion is?
This is a champion.
Let's hear it one more
time for Kechi!
Well done, Kechi.
I love her so much.
Beautiful.
That was beautiful.
She deserved it.
Wow.
50 states gonna vote.
That's right.
Kechi!
My God.
My God.
I know.
- I'm so happy.
- I can't believe it.
- I didn't rea...
- I thought I was going home.
I was so sure.
All right, you guys ready
to see some more talent?
Yes!
Hello.
Yes!
Nice to see you.
My God.
You guys have no idea.
This is my personal absolute
most favorite of all times.
Thank you, Heidi.
Please do tell us again
who you are.
My name is Stevie Starr,
I'm known as the Professional.
Regurgitator,
and I am from Scotland.
There are lots of singers,
lots of comedians,
but why only one regurgitator?
Maybe it's 'cause I'm the only
person who wants to do it.
I will swallow coin number one.
- I discovered my talent.
- When I lived.
In a children's home
in Glasgow, Scotland.
- I used to swallow my pocket.
- Money because.
The other children used
to steal it from me as a kid.
- So I grabbed a few.
- Coins one day,
Swallowed it, coughed,
and it came back up again.
The kids, they were
completely freaking out.
So when I decided to enter.
"America's Got Talent"...
I was worried people out there
wouldn't like what I do.
You are my favorite
act thus far.
You are so good!
To be accepted
after all these years
is the best feeling
in the world.
There is nobody
in the world, okay,
that can do
what you can do.
To me, that is
a million dollar act.
The act finishing
in fourth place
is the Professional.
Regurgitator.
Paul Zerdin won that season.
I felt like swallowing him
because it should have been me.
- But you'd better watch out,
- Paul,
Because now I'm back.
And I'm looking forward
to performing for the judges,
especially Heidi.
Being a supermodel,
I'd have thought she'd be
a little bit more grossed out,
but she enjoyed it more
than any other judge.
- So it's upped the ante.
- On this one.
Because I just don't wanna
disappoint her again.
This time,
I'm going to win it.
You have no idea
how much I love you.
- Thank you.
- I'm so excited!
What does he do?
He's, like, vomiting?
Do not try this at home.
Hello.
Back again.
- This is so cool just.
- To have me back.
It's such a privilege.
Anyway, let's begin the show.
What I have here, right,
is a very small screw
and a bolt.
Right, as you see,
even to try it with your hands,
it's pretty hard to turn on.
- What I am going to do,
- first of all,
I'm going to swallow
the tiny little bolt.
Then I will pop in the screw.
Now, I am going to put that
little screw onto the bolt,
- but I'm going to make.
- It harder.
- Do you want it on.
- At the beginning,
- Would you like it on.
- At the middle,
- Or would you like.
- It on at the end?
Tell me what...
- In the middle?
- Middle.
- Okay, we will.
- Do that for you.
In the middle.
- Now, it'll take a few.
- Seconds to do it.
- Once I get it on,
- it'll move quick.
It's just the getting on.
So let me do this for you now.
I actually have the bolt
pushed onto the screw,
and all I got to do now
is just turn the little bolt.
It's working.
So open my tummy
and you'll see it better.
My God.
Right.
What is he doing?
I want to try and get
it on as close
to the center as possible.
And we have it right
on the center.
Now...
I have here
a small plum tomato.
Now, what I'm going to do is
use this very sharp
Stanley blade.
I'm going to swallow, first
of all, the full tomato.
Okay!
This is very, very sharp.
I will let you see.
I'm going to place this inside
beside the tomato,
and I'm going to slice
the tomato in half.
I can't watch this.
- I can't watch this.
- Okay.
Boo!
Is that okay?
It's half.
It's coming back up.
There is the Stanley blade.
Yes!
And there you
have the tomato.
First, I want to know
why Simon buzzed...
- Yeah.
- Because that's just crazy.
Why...
Because he was making me
want to throw up.
Howie, what do you think?
Well, you know, I'ml'm
a huge fan of Steve's.
- Steve, you've been.
- Around for years.
- This is what you make.
- Your living doing.
- You're polarizing.
- Yeah.
You know, it's either I love
it or I can't look at it.
- But you're the.
- Consummate professional.
Yeah, thanks, my man.
Mel.
For me, it was the last part
of your act that really
had me thinking,
"My gosh,
how does he do it?"
- You're very good.
- At what you do.
- Thank you.
- Well done.
Thank you.
I think you're absolutely
incredible, amazing.
There's no one like you,
and I think that is what
is so special about you.
Thanks, Heidi.
And, you know,
it's a little bit gross,
yes, but I love it because
you're really, really special
and I wish you good luck
and I hope that the people
from the 50 states
are thinking about this.
- Good luck!
- Thank you, Heidi.
We'll see you later.
See you later.
- Yes.
- Bye.
All right, - the Regurgitator.
All right, my man.
Boy, Simon Cowell.
- No.
- Look, listen.
- Heidi loves you.
- Yeah.
If Heidi had
the Golden Buzzer,
- she might have hit.
- That for you.
That personally
makes me upset.
I was really upset.
- I'm mad at you.
- Good.
I'm mad because it
influences these people.
I'm not gonna say I love
everything if I don't.
- Almost scared me.
- Half to death,
When the regurgitator was
swallowing the razor blade
- and he Xed him.
- Right in the middle.
Ooh.
Yeah.
I'm Brian Justin Crum,
and I was a finalist
on season 11
of "America's Got Talent."
When I was growing up, I came
out of the closet very young,
and I dealt with
a lot of bullying
not only because I was gay but
also because I was overweight.
Music was always
my safe place in this world.
I had hoped that I could
be a singer.
But I had all of these people
telling me that I was,
you know, a piece of crap.
So I had a really hard time
finding my place.
"AGT" gave me that place
that I belonged.
I had no idea that so many
people all over the world
were going to connect with
what I had experienced,
and from every corner of this
planet, I got messages.
It was really gratifying
to see other people
- know that they're.
- Not alone in...
In what they're going through.
The act leaving
the competition
is Brian Justin Crum.
When I got fourth place,
I was surprised.
It felt so close.
But I wasn't good enough.
I think the songs that
I sang were wrong.
I hadn't really honed
in on who I am.
Now, two years later,
it's my chance to try again.
I feel like I've found
my own voice.
I was so close last time.
- But it was really important.
- For me.
To understand
why I didn't win.
Now I feel like I have
the right song.
That's why I came back
on this show.
I'm excited to show the world
where I'm at now,
and I wanna see how far
I can go this time.
Who doesn't want to win?
Yes!
I love him!
Yay!
Yes!
What's going on?
We meet again, Brian.
Here we are.
You were in the 2016 year,
is that right?
Yeah, season 11.
I came in fourth place.
- Yeah, you did really well.
- Thank you.
I think you deserved
to have done even better.
This is why we asked you
- to come back.
- On the "Champion" show.
- You're one heck.
- Of a singer, Brian.
Well done for having
the guts to come back.
- Awesome, I am super.
- Grateful for being here.
- I love you.
- You guys are awesome.
I love you.
Let's see what the next
three minutes does
to change your life.
Good luck.
All right.
I want that jacket.
Whoo!
Thank you.
He killed it.
My man!
Wow.
Wow, wow, wow, wow, wow.
Okay, let's
start with Howie.
First of all,
you are a brilliant singer,
performer,
consummate professional.
And you are a champion.
You are a winner.
It's amazing.
I would imagine our 50 states
are now clicking.
- Only one more spot.
- To go through.
- I think you just locked it in,
- young man.
I do.
Mel.
This is how you put on
a killer, killer,
killer performance.
My God, you just smashed it.
Smashed it, smashed it,
bish, bosh, bang.
- Smashed it.
- You're brilliant.
Brilliant.
- Thank you.
- Heidi.
I mean, you can sing.
You can just sing
so beautifully.
I feel it when you sing.
I'm right there with you.
And you command that stage
like no one else.
I mean, you're so special.
- And I loved seeing.
- You again today.
So much has happened
since we saw you,
whether it's.
"The Greatest Showman,"
whether it's "A Star Is Born,"
there is a shift...
There's a change in music.
- And this is where.
- You should be.
- You should be singing.
- Those kind of songs.
You have an absolutely
amazing voice.
Amazing voice.
This was in a different league
to anything you've done before.
I'm very proud of you, Brian.
And the 50 states voting,
I think you have a shot
- after that.
- I really do.
- Thank you.
- That was great.
- Well done.
- Awesome.
Thanks, guys.
- I think it's a stiff.
- Competition,
- But between your Golden Buzzer.
- And him,
I think he just locked it in.
- But we've been.
- Surprised before.
Are you ready for some more
talent tonight?
It's gonna be really hard.
This is "Champions."
I'm glad I'm not the one
making the decision tonight.
- You know,
- I look around the room.
And I see - all these people.
- Do you think the pressure.
- Is higher than ever before?
It's really hard,
and I'm 44.
- It is the best of the best.
- Yeah.
And it's like, "Wow."
My name is Kenichi Ebina.
I'm a dancer.
Listen, I always called
myself the biggest robot
- of all time.
- No.
- But you are the best.
- I'm the smallest.
You are the best.
And I was the winner
of season eight
of "America's Got Talent."
When I first walked
on the stage,
the judges didn't think I was
gonna be very good.
- How did you get.
- Into performing?
Um, I knew only
the running man.
But then...
My God!
Wow!
I was like, "Yes."
The winner is...
When America chose me
as a winner...
Kenichi Ebina!
It was, like, one of
my best moments of my life.
I felt like all America,
you know, loved me.
"America's Got Talent"
gave me such a success.
I was Internet sensation.
In any countries I go,
somebody recognize me.
"You're the guy who does,
uhdoes, this."
You know, everyone, this.
I want to keep performing
as long as possible.
But since then,
it's been five years,
so the dancers are getting
better and better
and I'm becoming older.
I'm 44.
Does that make you a little
more nervous about this
- performance tonight?
- Yes.
Talk to me.
My skill is not as good as
before, like five years ago.
Like, I see myself
moving heavy.
To compete, I have
to use my brain.
I'm always thinking about how
I get bigger and better.
But, um, it's gonna be tough.
My favorite!
Kenichi's in the house!
Kenichi!
Thank you for coming back.
Thank you for inviting me.
Now, you won.
"America's Got Talent" 2013.
Yes.
- So how did that.
- Change your life?
Well, of course,
my life is much better.
- I've been traveling.
- All over the places.
And, I make more money
and then...
- Wow.
- Yes!
Good for you.
Go for it.
Good luck.
Thank you.
Whoa.
Level two!
Come on!
How'd he do that?
He's a one-man action movie.
What do you think, Heidi?
I just would love
to be in your brain,
just to see how you
figure it all out.
- You always come up.
- With something new,
- And I'm a huge fan, Kenichi.
- Thank you, thank you.
- I really am.
- I loved it.
Well, first of all,
that isn't easy.
And you are already a winner.
So that's that, right?
Yes.
Now...
Get ready.
- I have to be really,
- really honest.
Now, you won it...
Hold on!
I would havel...
Jeez.
I just thinkl think on this
occasion, you overachieved.
- I think the production.
- Was too big.
But, I mean, you can't take
away from the fact
that you separated your body
and you moved your head
- off your body.
- I mean, come on.
Look, I've always, always,
always loved you.
That was original,
and to have you back,
it's fantastic,
because the more we see you,
the more we like you.
Well done.
And what's the dog's name?
Pup.
Where do we buy them?
Amazon.
- Well, thank you very much,
- Kenichi.
- Well done.
- Thank you so much.
See you a bit later.
Hello, everyone.
You can boo Mel
as much as you want.
No! No!
- Let's just practice that,
- one boo.
No!
Big round of applause
for Mel.
Why? Why me?
Welcome back.
All of the acts
have had their shot.
The goal is a spot
in the finals,
and now it's crunch time.
Kechi is already through.
That's down
to Simon's Golden Buzzer.
So that leaves just one spot
open in the finals,
and we've got nine acts
who want it.
- The Golden Buzzer's.
- Been given away,
So there's only one act left
to go to the final,
so it's very nerve-racking.
I don't want to go home yet.
You just smashed it.
- I wanted more.
- And more and more.
We got to the best
of the best in our groups,
and now we're in the best
of the best of the best.
And that wasn't a stutter.
That was a real...
All those bests.
I just love you.
You are a champion.
You are a winner.
- I feel like there.
- Is an added pressure.
Because I won my season.
You want people to go,
"Well, that's why you won,
- and that's why.
- "You could win again."
- You know who's.
- Really pissed at you?
Yep.
He's giving you evil eye.
- This was in.
- A different league,
- Something you've never.
- Done before.
I think you have a shot
after that.
This is it.
The votes are locked now.
First, let's find out
who made it into the top three.
The first act is...
Brian Justin Crum!
Yes!
Okay!
The act taking the next spot
in the top three is...
Paul Zerdin!
Congratulations, Paul!
There's just one spot left
in the top three.
Our 50 states have voted.
Whoa, wait, wait, wait, wait.
This has never happened before.
It's a dead heat.
What does that mean?
Two of you have tied for the
final spot in the top three.
The acts going
into the top three are...
Really?
Tape Face and Drew Lynch!
Come on in.
Come on in.
Let's hear it
for all our other acts!
- Thank you so much.
- For being here.
That's unbelievable.
Whoo, so we have
our top acts
Brian Justin Crum,
Paul Zerdin,
Tape Face,
and Drew Lynch!
But now only one act
can go through to the finals.
It's all down to how
our 50 states voted.
Brian, you won
in Hawaii, Texas,
and your home state
of California.
Paul, you won the South,
and most of your votes
were from women.
Tape Face, you did your best
with male voters.
And, Drew, you did your best
with voters age 18 through 34.
Whoo-hoo!
First, we're gonna find out
who finished in third place.
Our states have voted.
The act finishing
in third place is...
Tape Face and Drew Lynch!
Congratulations, guys!
- This will make you happy.
- Yet sad.
You guys are amazing!
Thank you so much.
Let's hear it one more time
for Tape Face and Drew Lynch,
please!
That leaves us
with Brian Justin Crum
and Paul Zerdin,
two acts for one spot.
The superfans have decided.
The act going through
to the finals is...
Brian Justin Crum!
Paul, you were great,
my man!
Everybody give it up
for Paul Zerdin!
Congrats.
Brian, you are in
the finals of "Champions"!
Yeah!
Brian, what do you want to
say to the people of America?
I just want to say
thank you, thank you,
thank you, guys, so much.
This is my dream, and thank you
for helping me get here.
And please welcome back
our Golden Buzzer, Kechi!
Whoa!
These two acts will be
back in the finals,
and one of them could be.
"Champions"
the best in the world.
Next time, ten more acts
will be fighting
for a spot in the final.
It's gonna be epic!
I'm Terry Crews.
Good night, America!
and I'm gonna help you
win this fight.
The act going through
to the finals is Paul Potts!
Brian Justin Crum!
Kechi!
Moonlight Brothers!
Texas Tenors!
Issy Simpson!
Tape Face!
Drew Lynch!
The Professional.
Regurgitator!
Paul Zerdin!
Kenichi Ebina!
I'm so excited!
I wanted more,
more and more and more.
II didn't like
the lyrics to that one.
But itbut itbut
it had a good beat.
I can't watch this.
No!
You are a champion.
You are a winner.
You're an idiot.
My God,
you just smashed it.
Smashed it, smashed it,
bish, bosh, bang.
Smashed it.
- I just love you.
- You're the best.
I'm gonna be honest with you.
Um...
I didn't like it that much.
I actually loved it!
Here's your host tonight,
Terry Crews!
What's up, America?
Okay, I've got
three words for you
World-class talent.
Ten acts from "Got Talent"
shows around the world
are coming up for the mother
of all talent battles.
They're fighting for just
two spots in our finals.
One will go to tonight's.
Golden Buzzer.
Yes.
And the other act will be
put through by our voters
from all 50 states of America.
They are the voice
of the people
from all across the country.
Now, we've got four
other voices here too.
Make some noise for your.
"Champions" judges.
Now, Simon, you have got
the Golden Buzzer tonight.
Hello.
Look at Simon's face.
- The fact that he has.
- The Golden Buzzer.
- Is a little nerve-racking.
- Yeah.
Exciting.
Okay, now look.
We've got ten acts coming up.
Only two can go
into the finals.
It is on!
It's "America's Got Talent".
The Champions"!
Did I say I'm excited?
This is exciting.
This is "Champions."
Top 50 in the world.
Being around all these very,
very talented people
is incredibly nerve-racking.
It's hard when you're
against adults as well,
- when you're only.
- A kid like me.
Yeah.
I'm Issy Simpson,
I'm from Blackpool, England,
and I was on "Britain's."
"Got Talent" season 11.
What do you do?
I'm going to be doing magic.
My grandpa teaches me.
So that means your
grandfather is a wizard.
Yes.
Right.
"Britain's Got Talent"
changed my life forever.
This is like real-life.
"Harry Potter."
You are honestly a little star.
I was just this little girl
in Blackpool who did magic.
All of a sudden, I had fans.
I even got a phone call
from Daniel Radcliffe.
He's Harry Potter.
He said,
"I hope someday we'll meet."
That was absolutely magical.
Right now, I think
you're gonna win.
The winner is Tokio Myers!
My mouth dropped.
I was sad that I didn't win.
But being on "America's."
The Champions,"
I get to try once again.
Okay, studio.
Here we go.
- I'm up against.
- The best of the best.
From all over the world,
and it's very scary
for a little girl doing magic.
- Here we go.
- Ten seconds.
I was runner-up before, but
now I want to win this time.
- Issy.
- Hello.
You look even smaller.
Maybe the stage is higher but...
- Probably.
- It looks like you shrunk,
But you haven't.
- Now, introduce yourself,
- please.
I'm Issy Simpson,
I was on "Britain's Got Talent"
in 2017,
and I was the runner-up.
And how old
were you then, Issy?
- I was eight then...
- Eight.
- But now I'm ten.
- Wow.
- Issy is a champion.
- In my eyes.
I can't wait to see what
you're gonna do tonight.
- Yes.
- Good luck.
Thank you.
Hello, everyone.
Tonight I'm going to show
you something with
my two favorite things,
magic and reading,
using my three favorite books.
My first favorite book is
Colin Davies' "Mathamagical."
Mel B, please, can you
look through the book
and check
if each page is different?
Yes, it is.
My second favorite book
is Enid Blyton,
"The Magical Faraway Tree."
- Heidi.
- Yes.
- Please, can you look.
- Through the book.
- And check.
- If each page is different?
Will do.
My third favorite book
is "How to Make a Million."
Please, can you look through
the book and check
if each page is different?
It's also my favorite book.
Probably the first book
you ever read, Simon.
Howie, please, can you pick
up my box and put it
- on the floor for me, please?
- On the floor?
Yes, just behind you.
Behind me?
Yeah.
Um, lit's...
- Mel B, do you want.
- To go and help him?
- Yeah.
- It's really heavy.
- Girl power.
- I can't lift it.
Exactly.
No, ithe can't move it.
What is going on?
- How is that possible?
- Stop!
Okay.
Please, can you both
sit back down for me?
All right.
She's a little bossy.
Show off.
How is that even possible?
Howie, I'm going
to show you a card trick.
- But it's a card trick.
- Like no other.
As you can see,
all the cards are different.
Yes.
I'm going to turn them
facedown,
and I'd like you to touch
the back of any card.
- There.
- Are you sure?
I am.
I'd like you to look
at your card,
remember it,
and don't show anyone else.
- Don't show anybody else?
- Anyone.
Okay.
Got it.
Now, Howie,
there are three books.
Please choose one book.
"I Want to Make a Million."
"How to Make a Million"
has around 674 pages.
Please, can you choose a number
between 1 and 674?
126.
Simon, please,
can you turn the book
to page 126 for me,
please?
Now choose one word
and in a loud voice,
tell everybody what it is.
Excellent.
Excellent.
See this blackboard?
Before the show,
I wrote a word on it.
Watch.
Stop!
What?
Howie, you chose a card.
Yeah.
For the first time, Howie,
what was the card you chose?
It is the three of diamonds.
Watch.
Amazing.
I've been Issy Simpson.
Thank you.
Good night!
How did she do that?
Wow.
- Wow.
- Howie, what did you think?
Issy, number one,
you're proving that Britain
does have talent.
Thank you.
Number two, that Britain
has adorable talent.
With ten acts,
only two acts can go through,
but you are setting the bar
for these ten acts.
I wish you the best of luck.
Thank you so much.
Mel, what did you think?
You are absolutely
adorable.
- Thank you.
- My gosh.
Just the way that you
presented everything
was just so seamless,
full of confidence,
very, very sassy,
and your magic was magic.
- I don't even know.
- How you did it.
- It was mind-blowing.
- Well done.
Thank you.
- You are adorable.
- And brilliant.
Heidi.
I thought this was excellent.
I think you are
a little firecracker.
Thank you.
- You definitely have.
- That special something.
- That you have to have.
- When you're an entertainer.
- You definitely have that.
- Thank you.
Great job.
Every time I see you,
Issy, I don't know.
- I mean, you have got.
- Magical powers.
- I mean, that was incredible.
- Thank you.
One thing I've always really,
really admired about you
is that you really have this
incredible competitive spirit.
- Thank you.
- No, I love that about you.
You were the runner-up,
and now you come on to take
the best of the world,
and I have a feeling
the 50 states,
they might put you through
to the final after that.
Thank you.
Aww.
Thank you.
You realize that kid just
made everything much harder?
Yeah.
Yeah.
- Now, last time,
- you were runner-up.
Do you think you're gonna make
it to the finals this time?
Um, I hope so.
It is like a little
Harriet Potter live show.
It is.
- Next act to the stage,
- please.
Next act to the stage.
- Who has the.
- Golden Buzzer today?
Simon.
God, I love that so much.
Here we go.
- For us,
- performing in front of Simon,
We've never performed
for him before.
- It's pretty exciting,
- and the fact that he has.
- The Golden Buzzer.
- Is nerve-racking.
Yeah.
We're the Texas Tenors
from Houston, Texas.
And we were on season four
of "America's Got Talent."
Before the show, I mean,
I was unemployed,
and these guys were working
a construction job.
- We were struggling.
- To pay the bills.
And supporting our families.
III had no money left
in my account.
I remember going through
all my baseball cards,
and I sold them for,
like, 300 bucks
- just to get.
- A little extra money.
- And then I just thought.
- In my mind,
"There's gotta be something
better than this."
So when we had
the chance to audition
for "America's Got Talent,"
we thought, you know,
"This is our chance to make
our dreams come true."
But it was not that easy.
- We can still see.
- It's very raw.
The judges were
really tough on us
all the way through.
- You gotta do something.
- Worthy.
Of the Las Vegas stage.
That's not gonna get you
through to the final.
We thought, "Well, this is"
- a once-in-a-lifetime.
- "Opportunity,".
- And we did not take it.
- For granted.
We had to work really hard
to continue on.
That was fantastic.
Whoo!
You guys are without
a doubt the front runner
to win this competition.
- And we got all the way.
- To the finals,
And we thought, you know,
"We could make it."
But after all
the hard work...
Finishing in fourth place,
the Texas Tenors.
- It was tough.
- It was.
But our lives changed
overnight from the experience
of "America's Got Talent."
So we started touring
and doing shows
all over the country.
The onethe one thing
we didn't do was win.
Being on "America's Got."
The Champions,"
we are getting
a second opportunity
to actually win the show.
I mean, that's validation
of the Texas Tenors.
- That's prettypretty.
- Incredible.
I know who they are.
Wow.
It's the Texas Tenors.
My God.
- How are you?
- Great.
Fantastic.
- You were on.
- "America's Got Talent".
- The year before I joined.
- Correct.
- Talk about how your.
- Life changed.
- After "America's Got Talent."
- Completely.
I mean, we've been touring
full-time for almost ten years.
Wow.
And we actually debuted
two albums at number one on the.
"Billboard" classical charts.
Good for you!
- We've been able to provide.
- For our families,
- Which we were struggling.
- With before.
And coming back here
is just fantastic.
Good.
Well, good luck.
- We can't wait to hear you.
- Thank you.
- Show us why you're.
- A champion.
Thank you.
Whoo!
That was great.
Whoo!
That was amazing.
Heidi.
- I thought it was.
- Really beautiful,
Really, really pretty.
It's maybe a bit
on the schmaltzier side,
but I love schmaltzy,
- and I think the audience.
- Enjoyed it too.
Loved the harmonizing too.
Thank you.
Mel?
I liked it when you were
all singing at once,
'cause youyour voices
blended in and you filled
the whole entire room.
Thank you.
- I actually really,
- really liked it.
- I think your voices are great.
- Thanks, Mel.
So thank you.
I gotta tell you that you
guys are champions
and deserve to be here.
You have set a bar very high.
I wish you the best of luck.
I loved it.
Thank you.
Simon.
You know what?
I really, really, really
wanted you to come back
and do this show.
But you want my honest opinion?
I think you got
better with age.
- I genuinely do.
- Wow.
Thank you so much.
You have an amazing
chemistry about you.
You're very nice guys as well.
I really like you.
So thank you.
Thank you so much.
Thanks, everyone.
I was so nervous to sing
for Simon andand the fact
- that he really liked our act,
- that justwow.
- Hits you right here.
- Yeah.
Yeah.
- I, too, wish I'd been.
- On that show with them.
They're great.
- Because you would have.
- Signed them if...
Well, not just that.
I actually think,
they're actually very good.
- They are.
- They're incredibly likable.
Right.
- Now see what the 50 states.
- Have to say.
- All right.
- Thank you.
All right, you guys.
Thank you, thank you.
This next guy was
my Golden Buzzer.
- Where did he get to?
- Second.
He came in runner-up to...
You know Paul Zerdin?
- Yeah.
- The ventriloquist.
The person who beat you
is here tonight.
- He is.
- How do you feel about that?
- It's a rematch.
- It is.
- It is a little bit.
- Of a rematch.
- Gutsy coming back.
- What?
Gutsy.
Here we go!
What's up?
Drew Lynch, welcome back.
- Hihi, everybody.
- Hello.
- So you were the runner-up.
- In 2015.
Yeah.
- What have you been up to.
- Since we last saw you?
"America's Got Talent," it...
Itlike, it built such
a platform for me in a way
that was, you know,
- more than just be getting to...
- Toto do comedy.
I'm giving people a voice who,
you know, have to overcome
a daily obstacle.
This show taught me that
that waswas my talent.
It'sit's to continue
to overcome adversity.
Well said.
Very well said.
My name is Drew Lynch,
I'ml'm 27,
I'm from Inlndianapolis,
and I'm a comedian.
I am the runner-up from,
season ten, 2015.
I, uhl havel - have a stutter.
That's whatthat's...
That's what that is.
Aboutabout seven years ago,
I was playing
on a softball team.
Aa grounder had blunted me
in thein the throat,
so I went home
and I went to sleep.
And then I woke up
the n-next day with a...
- With awith.
- A speech impediment.
My whole life
changed from there.
And I'lll'll always
h-have a stutter.
To not be able to communicate
with people the same way
felt very like this
isthis is the end.
You can only hang your head
forforfor so long
before you have to pull
yourseself up.
And that's howthat's how
my comedy career b-began.
I wanna get toto where
people ststart to use
mymy voice asas the voice
of their G-G-GPS.
For someone to say,
"Hey, I believe in you"...
When up to that moment
I really hadn't,
I...
Man.
Ininin the final when it
was down to Paul Zerdin and I
on the stage,
I've never felt that
level ofthat level
of pressure.
I wanted to win sso badly.
- A comedian hadhad.
- Never won before.
Paul Zerdin!
When I didn't,
that was pretty devastating.
I will never forget
coming in second.
- On ouron our show,
- we're the only...
We're the only winner and
runner-up from the same season.
- Yeah.
- So it's like...
- It's like ait's like.
- A rematch almost.
When "America's Got Talent".
"The Champions" asked me
to come back and do the show,
I was sol was so excited.
I get to go up against
Paul again.
Here'shere's an opportunity
to prove myself.
Let me try to proppropel
myself that much further.
Let meput me to the test.
I'm not ready to stop.
Thisthis isthis
is just the beginning.
It'sit's a lot of pressure,
but I've been prep...
Preparing as hard as I can,
and this time,
I want the title winner,
"America's Got Talent
The Champions,".
Drew Lynch.
When you were
on the show last time,
you came second.
Have you come up with something
new that now makes you think
you could win this show?
Yeah, I'm thinking...
I'm thinking puppets.
Yeah.
That works.
Okay, good luck.
- We feel that.
- He's really gunning.
For the winning slot this time.
So we're gonna raise our game,
aren't we, Zerdin?
- That's right.
- Yeah.
Yes.
Hello, hi, thank you.
How ishow is everybody?
Very good.
I love perperperforming.
Um, you know, some people,
sometimes they find my stand-up
to be a littlea
little jarring because...
Because I... 'cause I stutter,
but I prefer to think
that you'reyou're getting
the joke and...
And also the remix.
So even if you hear a joke
that'sthat's not for you,
- you can be like,
- "Well, I didn't..."
"I didn't like the lyrics"
to that one,
but itbut itbut it
"had a good beat."
As if there's not enough wrong
withwith my mouth,
I also wear, um, Invisalign,
thethe invisible braces.
Oror as I like to call it,
a grill forfor white people.
Just rapping onon the hood
of my Prius.
Um, aaavocado toast.
I don't know.
What I realize isis when
you lose your Invisalign
atat, say, like a restaurant
and you go back,
you sound like aa
crazy person.
- Like, I went back.
- To the restaurant,
Andand in a frenzy,
I said to the waitress,
I was like, "Hi, hi."
III just ate here
and II think I lost
"my Invisalign."
She's like, "I didn't see you"
wearing aa retainer."
And I was like, "Well, you..."
You can't see it!
"It'sit'sit's invisible!"
- "Have you...
- Have you seen it?"
So glad you guys,
g-g-got that joke,
- but, you know,
- even if you didn't,
Itit still had a good beat.
Thank you, guys
soso much.
No, no!
Why?
Hey, thanks!
Aww.
You're tootootoo sweet.
- Standing ovation?
- Yeah.
That'sthat's a good sign.
Good for him, - not for us.
Drew, I'm really angry at
you! I'm really angry at you!
That was too short!
I wanted more,
more and more and more.
You are so funny and so quick.
Aww, aww.
I just love you.
I love everything about you.
Heidi, what did you think?
Well, there's only a few
comedians that I really,
really love,
and you are definitely
a one of them.
I really, really love you.
I mean, that was hilarious.
Thththank you.
You're welcome.
Simon, what did you think?
For me, it wasn't the best
performance we've seen you do.
But you have inspired
so many people
and you're a great guy.
You're really funny.
I really respect you.
So well done.
Thathank you.
Drew, I can't tell you
how proud I am of you.
You are not only
a great entertainer
but a great spokesperson
and a great example
and I gotta tell you something
You have grown
by leaps and bounds
- and you are truly.
- A professional,
Truly a champion.
I hope that all the 50 states
are looking at you,
because you surely deserve
to be in the finals.
I love you, buddy.
Thththank you, Howie.
Thathathank you, guys.
Thathank you.
See, that makes me laugh.
Yeah, a lot.
- That makes me proper.
- Belly laugh.
- I'd like to see him.
- In the final.
- Yeah.
- Great job, Drew.
- We will see you later.
- On tonight.
Hey, Paul.
As a kid growing up,
I was never quite
- one of the gang.
- Hey, Paul.
My friends were out playing
football and I put together
- my puppet shows when I...
- Probably when I was about.
- Eight years old.
- Hey, Paul.
- Your guests are waiting.
- At your table.
Thank you.
No one took me seriously.
Zerdin.
Finally, we're starving!
Yeah, I haven't got
much time left.
Sorry, chaps.
Crazy morning.
And then I won.
"America's Got Talent."
Paul Zerdin!
I had been working
for so long for something,
and then winning season ten
absolutely just kicked
my career into orbit.
- I've got.
- A headline show in Las Vegas.
People are paying money
to come and see me
and my silly little puppets.
That was the moment.
You used to be a nerd
who played with dolls.
- And "AGT"
- changed all of that.
Now you're just a famous
nerd who plays with dolls.
- Boys, don't you.
- Remember what it felt like.
When they said my name,
we won this thing?
Now we have that same
opportunity again.
Yeah, but this time not just
to be the best in America
but the best in the world.
Coming in as a recent winner
has some real pressure
attached to it.
And once again, I'm
competing against Drew Lynch.
I fully intend to tto take
you down, Paul Zerdin.
He has his eye on the prize.
But then again, - so do I.
- I have a reputation.
- To uphold here.
I'm gonna do everything I can
to make sure that I keep it.
I want that champion title.
Paul!
We have a winner!
I love it, guys.
Good evening, everyone.
It's great to see you, judges.
Nice to see you.
It seems only yesterday that
I was doing season ten
and I have to say,
it's lovely to be back.
It really is.
The fact that you won
and you've come back
- to compete again,
- I mean, respect.
Thank you.
I believe that I've
got more to show you.
Good.
- I wanna do something.
- Tonight that I don't think.
Has ever been done before,
with a ventriloquist act.
- Ooh.
- Wow.
We'd love that.
Good luck.
I lostl lost to him.
Paul Zerdin?
I'ml'ml'm so honored
and humbled and upset.
Ventriloquism,
it's an amazing thing,
- and I love being able.
- To do it because everything.
In everyday life now talks.
- All over the world, you have.
- The talking elevator.
I like to go into an elevator
that doesn't talk
and pretend it does.
- And the busier the elevator,
- the better.
In I go.
"Doors closing."
That was me.
"Going up."
Get out, fatty.
"You're too heavy."
And this is my favorite bit.
"Cable detaching."
- You know, being.
- A ventriloquist,
You can also have a lot of fun
if you get yourself a puppet.
Zerdin!
Speak of the devil.
- Would you like.
- To meet my friend?
Yeah!
Then please welcome back
my friend Sam.
We love Sam.
Remember Sam.
- Whoo-hoo!
- Hello!
Hi.
I said hello!
- Hello!
- Hi.
Well, this is fantastic.
- We'rehold on a minute.
- Hang on, hang on.
Where are we?
- Well, we're on.
- "America's Got Talent."
- Yes, I know.
- Wait a minute.
- We won "America's Got Talent."
- That's right.
And we're back.
We're doing it again?
Yes.
What the hell went wrong?
- No, no, no,
- this is "The Champions."
- "The Champions"?
- Yes.
- You'd better have.
- Something special, Zerdin.
I think I have.
You know, Howie always says,
"You gotta up your game."
- Yes, that's right.
- So what are you gonna do?
What are you gonna do?
- Well, I think I've got.
- Something very special.
- Yes?
- Yes.
I've got a little ditty.
Sitting there nervous.
It'sit's not - what you think.
- Just watch.
- What, your ditty?
No.
Watch my face.
Here we go.
Too close.
Here we go.
- That's great.
- They loved that.
Wait, - I'm not finished yet.
- No.
- Now what I want you to do...
Is to hum the ditty.
I don't want to.
Just do it.
All right.
- It's not working.
- Wait.
What we do now, okay?
While you do that...
Yeah, I'm gonna do
a beatbox drum beat.
A what?
A beatbox drum beat.
So I'm gonna go...
Okay?
And we're gonna do it
at the same time.
- Wow.
- Um, Zerdin?
- Yeah?
- Can I have a word?
What?
- We're not gonna.
- Do it together.
Why'd you say that?
Because it's not possible.
II believe it is.
You're an idiot.
Okay, we're gonna do this.
I'll start, you follow, okay?
Here we go.
Wow.
Whoo, we did it!
- Thank you so much.
- Good night.
Whoo-hoo!
Incredible.
That's why he won
the first time.
Thank you.
Thank you very much.
Howie.
Paul, you know,
ventriloquists have done
- very good on.
- "America's Got Talent."
I've noticed.
But you have a uniqueness
in the sense where you take
the art of ventriloquism
and play with that art form.
- And I love it.
- You make it funny.
- You are smooth.
- You are a winner.
- I wish you the best.
- Of luck on this.
Thank you.
Thank you - for showing up.
- We appreciate it.
- You're a champion.
Thank you.
Heidi.
Your act is absolutely
seamless.
It shows so much personality,
and sometimes I wonder
if you're a ventriloquist
or if you're a magician.
You had me laughing
and everyone here laughing.
- And we need to laugh more,
- so thank you for that.
Thank you.
Paul, um, obviously,
I wasn't on the show,
- but I watched.
- The show that year.
That was original,
it was funny,
- but I'm gonna be.
- Honest with you.
I don't think this was
a progression up
- from where you were before.
- Come on!
- You try and do that!
- I do!
I do!
I do.
Man.
Boo.
I was completely entertained.
I was trying to figure
out where the noises
were coming from.
It's all coming from you.
- You're already.
- A complete pro to me.
- Thank you.
- So I loved it.
You're very entertaining.
Thank you and we'll see you
a little bit later on.
Well done.
Really good.
This is your first time
in front of Simon.
- Yeah.
- What are your feelings on...
- Well, you know,
- he was honest.
He's known for his honesty,
so I take that on board
- and um, you know...
- But let me...
- Let me give you.
- A little bit of good news.
- In fact, his vote tonight.
- Doesn't count.
Right.
- Because it's about.
- The 50 states.
Yeah, sure, yeah.
And hopefully they
disagree with Simon too.
Yeah, fingers crossed.
I wanna know who's next.
It's the Moonlight Brothers.
They are the current champions
of "Denmark's Got Talent."
- When did they win?
- 2018.
- All right, you ready?
- Yeah.
Count us off, though.
Six, seven, eight.
One, two, three, four.
Yeah, hey!
You got it, man.
- Hey, come on, man.
- Yeah.
- I'm Jonathan.
- And I'm Christopher.
- And we are.
- The Moonlight Brothers.
We grew up in a small city
in Denmark called Hobro.
I began to dance
when my uncle and aunt
started a dance school.
He said, "Try dancing."
I was like, "Okay."
My big brother was really cool
and he could dance,
and I was like, "Okay, yeah."
I want to be him."
Aww.
When we was at the audition
for "Denmark's Got Talent,"
everything started
to go crazy.
We had no idea how it
will be in the end.
Then we got to the finals.
We thought that, hey...
We're gonna be number two.
- It's so great.
- It's great.
- That's great.
- That's nice.
- Yeah.
- But...
Then they shouted...
Moonlight Brothers!
- It was anan.
- Incredible feeling.
I began to cry.
Yeah, me too.
No words.
After we won.
"Denmark Got Talent,"
we was offered to do.
"Champions."
And to do what I love with
my little brother...
It was anan
incredible feeling.
- How does it feel.
- To be in America?
- Crazy, crazy.
- Really crazy.
- It's ten times bigger.
- Than Denmark,
100 times bigger.
We are up against
the best of the best.
We need to step
the game up much more.
- Yeah.
- Much more.
Being on "America's Got."
The Champions,"
we're here to defend
our winning title.
Welcome, you guys.
Thanks.
I hear that you just won.
"Denmark's Got Talent."
Yes?
Amazing!
- Are you guys really brothers?
- Yeah.
I'm the pretty one.
Why did you want to
participate in "The Champions"?
We actually grew up
seeing this show,
so being a part of this show
is just freaking us out.
- Yeah.
- It isyeah.
You're here.
- You've now taken on.
- The best of the best.
- You confident?
- Yeah, we are.
- You are?
- Yeah.
Good for you.
Good luck.
- Thank you very much.
- Thanks.
Aww.
Aww!
Group hug!
Whoa!
Melanie Brown.
- Well, well done for winning.
- "Denmark's Got Talent."
Well done, well done.
- I like the fact that.
- It is homegrown,
That you are brothers.
I like you did the acrobats.
I just expected
a little bit more.
But that's just me.
They all enjoyed it.
Howie.
You know, this show
is about family,
is about talent, to see
two brothers get together.
But Simon keeps talking
about upping the game
and upping the game,
and if I'm gonna be
totally honest,
I personally didn't love that.
I'm sorry.
But I enjoyed it.
Because I feel like you
brought the energy up to, like,
- a level.
- Yeah.
You could really feel
that in here.
And I also love the humor
part of it,
- you being a baby.
- I thought it was fun.
- And I love the group hug.
- At the end.
- That was also sweet.
- Aww.
- Very sweet.
- I liked it.
- Thank you.
- Thanks.
Simon.
- Well, I think we're all.
- Feeling the same thing.
It was really fun,
it was different,
but I think based on what
I've seen so far tonight,
I'm talking to a previous
winner who I don't think's
gonna win tonight.
Let's see what happens.
- Good luck.
- Thank you!
The truth is,
comcompeting on.
"America's Got Talent,"
they would have a tough time.
You guys have so much
originality and fun.
Let's hope that the 50 states
vote you guys in.
Thank you very much.
Welcome back to "America's."
"Got Talent" season 11.
Are you guys ready
to get to it?
I thought that was clever,
unique, funny.
Brilliant.
That was just genius.
By this time tomorrow,
everyone in America
is gonna know your name.
- You are Tape Face.
- Hi, Tape Face.
- Hi, Tape Face.
- Tape Face!
- Why do they call you.
- Tape Face?
He is Tape Face.
I believe a star
is being born
out of just pure,
utter silliness.
And I'm looking forward
to seeing what you do next.
Now, Tape Face,
to be honest...
I think it's time
to come back...
To "America's Got Talent."
Hi, Tape Face.
I want you to come back...
To "America's Got Talent."
All right, Tape Face.
It's time to come back.
Tape Face...
It's time...
To come back.
- I think you should.
- Come back.
- It's time...
- To come back.
- Come back.
- Come back.
Come back.
To "America's Got Talent."
To "America's Got Talent."
To "America's Got Talent"
tonight!
- Me?
- Yes, you.
I love when Howie
goes up there.
What does it say?
Stay weird.
Come on, Howie!
Put a little in!
What am I doing?
Move it!
- Me?
- I'ml'm out.
Get in them.
- His feet won't go through.
- The bottom.
Okay.
Is he a dustman?
Construction?
Is it "YMCA"?
- Got your own buzzer.
- Good.
Whoa!
- Thank you, thank you!
- Wow.
All right!
I just stripped on live TV!
You know what?
- First of all,
- I wanna talk to you,
But you don't talk.
But I wanna say you are
one of the most memorable acts
there has been in all the time
that I have been here.
And you actually got your own
Vegas show, didn't you?
Yes, you have your own room
called the House of Tape.
You are amazing.
- I am so thrilled that.
- You are back.
Mel, what did you think?
You know what?
I love that you got everybody
else to join in your act.
And you're just funny.
I could watch you all day long.
- It's always an absolute.
- Pleasure to see you,
So thank you.
Heidi?
You're clever, - you're funny,
You're totally original,
and I do have to tell you,
my kids are still
talking about you.
Great job.
Simon.
That was so silly,
but it was so funny, and...
- You know what was.
- The funniest?
Your tape face.
The tape on your face.
I liked that, yeah.
That was my favorite part.
I'd buy it.
Look, it's all down
to the 50 states now.
- I would love to see you.
- In the final.
Because you brought so many
happy memories back
- to me and I absolutely.
- Love you.
- So congratulations.
- Brilliant.
Mel, if only we could
do that for you.
No.
Mel becomes Tape Face,
the judge.
You are so mean.
Just try one and see.
- Get some tape for Simon.
- Yes.
Listen, man, Tape,
you did thea mo...
I was so proud to be a part
of this act, man.
Listen, we're going on
the road together,
Tape Face and the Brother.
That's how we gonna do...
Here we go,
ten seconds.
You know, it's so crazy.
Like, there's only gonna be
two people out of all ten of us
- going through.
- To the next round.
I know, that's so insane.
- It's like, how do you compare.
- A singer to a juggler.
- To a magician to a...
- I have no idea.
It's like...
My name is Kechi,
I'm 28 years old,
I live in Houston,
and I am a singer.
When I was 16 years old,
I was in a plane crash
that took the lives of 107
of 109 people aboard.
I was the only kid
who survived
out of 60 kids from my school.
It was one of the most painful
moments of my life...
- Knowing that all those kids.
- Had lost their lives.
I suffered third-degree burns
over 65% of my body.
The doctors gave me
a 30% chance of survival.
In those moments,
all I had was the next day
- and then the next day.
- And the next day.
And I remember hearing my mom
singing to me
while I was in recovery,
and music became
my ultimate distraction from
what was going on with me.
I just had no idea that
one day I would be
standing on the stage
of "America's Got Talent"
and singing.
You deserve your place here
tonight not just based
on your story but actually
on your talent.
Hearing those words
from Simon changed my life.
For the longest time,
I've been recognized
as a survivor.
But being on "America's Got."
"Talent" was the first time
that I was recognized
as a singer.
"America's Got Talent" showed
me there is life after burns.
I feel like I owe it to the
kids that lost their lives
in the accident to live
in exemplary ways
that would make those who we
lost proud if they were here.
That's why I'm here on.
"America's Got Talent
Champions."
This is my chance to follow my
dream, and I know what it means
to actually be here right now.
I didn't win last time,
and I feel like I have
found my voice.
This is my chance to prove
that I am a champion.
Kechi!
Yeah!
Yeah!
Kechi!
How are you?
I'm good, thank you.
- How's life been since.
- You've been on the show?
Tell me.
- I'm sure you remember.
- The first time I came up.
- On this stage.
- In front of y'all,
I was so shy about my voice.
I had zero confidence.
But since the show, I have
become an advocate
for all the burn survivors
with Shriners Hospital so...
Good for you.
Well, now I'm excited to hear
what you're gonna sing.
- Thank you.
- I hope you guys like it.
Okay, good luck.
Thank you.
I'm looking forward to this.
She's so fantastic.
Okay, here we go again.
Here we go.
Whoo!
Amazing.
Whoo.
They say that 99% of success
is just showing up.
You do so much more
than just show up.
You're so much more than
your songs and your sound,
more than a champion
of singing and of talent.
You're a champion of life.
Yes.
I could see how hard that
you'd been working.
There's a huge difference.
Wow.
And II just love you,
and I adore you.
- You are a survivor.
- I love you.
- Thank you so much.
- Thank you.
Kechi, I have to tell you,
I'm so excited that I get
the chance to see you again,
to hear you again.
You look beautiful,
you sounded beautiful,
and it's always a joy seeing
you on the stage.
- It was in this very theater.
- That we met you.
For the first time and you...
I remember you being very shy.
But based on what
I've seen tonight,
I'm gonna be honest with you.
Um, I didn't really
like it that much.
I actually loved it.
What?
I have always wanted
to do that for you.
You so deserve it.
This is what defines
the word champion.
Kechi, you are
so emotional right now.
Please, talk to us.
Mom, I...
My one regret was I never
got the chance to give her
the Golden Buzzer.
- You want to know.
- What a champion is?
This is a champion.
Let's hear it one more
time for Kechi!
Well done, Kechi.
I love her so much.
Beautiful.
That was beautiful.
She deserved it.
Wow.
50 states gonna vote.
That's right.
Kechi!
My God.
My God.
I know.
- I'm so happy.
- I can't believe it.
- I didn't rea...
- I thought I was going home.
I was so sure.
All right, you guys ready
to see some more talent?
Yes!
Hello.
Yes!
Nice to see you.
My God.
You guys have no idea.
This is my personal absolute
most favorite of all times.
Thank you, Heidi.
Please do tell us again
who you are.
My name is Stevie Starr,
I'm known as the Professional.
Regurgitator,
and I am from Scotland.
There are lots of singers,
lots of comedians,
but why only one regurgitator?
Maybe it's 'cause I'm the only
person who wants to do it.
I will swallow coin number one.
- I discovered my talent.
- When I lived.
In a children's home
in Glasgow, Scotland.
- I used to swallow my pocket.
- Money because.
The other children used
to steal it from me as a kid.
- So I grabbed a few.
- Coins one day,
Swallowed it, coughed,
and it came back up again.
The kids, they were
completely freaking out.
So when I decided to enter.
"America's Got Talent"...
I was worried people out there
wouldn't like what I do.
You are my favorite
act thus far.
You are so good!
To be accepted
after all these years
is the best feeling
in the world.
There is nobody
in the world, okay,
that can do
what you can do.
To me, that is
a million dollar act.
The act finishing
in fourth place
is the Professional.
Regurgitator.
Paul Zerdin won that season.
I felt like swallowing him
because it should have been me.
- But you'd better watch out,
- Paul,
Because now I'm back.
And I'm looking forward
to performing for the judges,
especially Heidi.
Being a supermodel,
I'd have thought she'd be
a little bit more grossed out,
but she enjoyed it more
than any other judge.
- So it's upped the ante.
- On this one.
Because I just don't wanna
disappoint her again.
This time,
I'm going to win it.
You have no idea
how much I love you.
- Thank you.
- I'm so excited!
What does he do?
He's, like, vomiting?
Do not try this at home.
Hello.
Back again.
- This is so cool just.
- To have me back.
It's such a privilege.
Anyway, let's begin the show.
What I have here, right,
is a very small screw
and a bolt.
Right, as you see,
even to try it with your hands,
it's pretty hard to turn on.
- What I am going to do,
- first of all,
I'm going to swallow
the tiny little bolt.
Then I will pop in the screw.
Now, I am going to put that
little screw onto the bolt,
- but I'm going to make.
- It harder.
- Do you want it on.
- At the beginning,
- Would you like it on.
- At the middle,
- Or would you like.
- It on at the end?
Tell me what...
- In the middle?
- Middle.
- Okay, we will.
- Do that for you.
In the middle.
- Now, it'll take a few.
- Seconds to do it.
- Once I get it on,
- it'll move quick.
It's just the getting on.
So let me do this for you now.
I actually have the bolt
pushed onto the screw,
and all I got to do now
is just turn the little bolt.
It's working.
So open my tummy
and you'll see it better.
My God.
Right.
What is he doing?
I want to try and get
it on as close
to the center as possible.
And we have it right
on the center.
Now...
I have here
a small plum tomato.
Now, what I'm going to do is
use this very sharp
Stanley blade.
I'm going to swallow, first
of all, the full tomato.
Okay!
This is very, very sharp.
I will let you see.
I'm going to place this inside
beside the tomato,
and I'm going to slice
the tomato in half.
I can't watch this.
- I can't watch this.
- Okay.
Boo!
Is that okay?
It's half.
It's coming back up.
There is the Stanley blade.
Yes!
And there you
have the tomato.
First, I want to know
why Simon buzzed...
- Yeah.
- Because that's just crazy.
Why...
Because he was making me
want to throw up.
Howie, what do you think?
Well, you know, I'ml'm
a huge fan of Steve's.
- Steve, you've been.
- Around for years.
- This is what you make.
- Your living doing.
- You're polarizing.
- Yeah.
You know, it's either I love
it or I can't look at it.
- But you're the.
- Consummate professional.
Yeah, thanks, my man.
Mel.
For me, it was the last part
of your act that really
had me thinking,
"My gosh,
how does he do it?"
- You're very good.
- At what you do.
- Thank you.
- Well done.
Thank you.
I think you're absolutely
incredible, amazing.
There's no one like you,
and I think that is what
is so special about you.
Thanks, Heidi.
And, you know,
it's a little bit gross,
yes, but I love it because
you're really, really special
and I wish you good luck
and I hope that the people
from the 50 states
are thinking about this.
- Good luck!
- Thank you, Heidi.
We'll see you later.
See you later.
- Yes.
- Bye.
All right, - the Regurgitator.
All right, my man.
Boy, Simon Cowell.
- No.
- Look, listen.
- Heidi loves you.
- Yeah.
If Heidi had
the Golden Buzzer,
- she might have hit.
- That for you.
That personally
makes me upset.
I was really upset.
- I'm mad at you.
- Good.
I'm mad because it
influences these people.
I'm not gonna say I love
everything if I don't.
- Almost scared me.
- Half to death,
When the regurgitator was
swallowing the razor blade
- and he Xed him.
- Right in the middle.
Ooh.
Yeah.
I'm Brian Justin Crum,
and I was a finalist
on season 11
of "America's Got Talent."
When I was growing up, I came
out of the closet very young,
and I dealt with
a lot of bullying
not only because I was gay but
also because I was overweight.
Music was always
my safe place in this world.
I had hoped that I could
be a singer.
But I had all of these people
telling me that I was,
you know, a piece of crap.
So I had a really hard time
finding my place.
"AGT" gave me that place
that I belonged.
I had no idea that so many
people all over the world
were going to connect with
what I had experienced,
and from every corner of this
planet, I got messages.
It was really gratifying
to see other people
- know that they're.
- Not alone in...
In what they're going through.
The act leaving
the competition
is Brian Justin Crum.
When I got fourth place,
I was surprised.
It felt so close.
But I wasn't good enough.
I think the songs that
I sang were wrong.
I hadn't really honed
in on who I am.
Now, two years later,
it's my chance to try again.
I feel like I've found
my own voice.
I was so close last time.
- But it was really important.
- For me.
To understand
why I didn't win.
Now I feel like I have
the right song.
That's why I came back
on this show.
I'm excited to show the world
where I'm at now,
and I wanna see how far
I can go this time.
Who doesn't want to win?
Yes!
I love him!
Yay!
Yes!
What's going on?
We meet again, Brian.
Here we are.
You were in the 2016 year,
is that right?
Yeah, season 11.
I came in fourth place.
- Yeah, you did really well.
- Thank you.
I think you deserved
to have done even better.
This is why we asked you
- to come back.
- On the "Champion" show.
- You're one heck.
- Of a singer, Brian.
Well done for having
the guts to come back.
- Awesome, I am super.
- Grateful for being here.
- I love you.
- You guys are awesome.
I love you.
Let's see what the next
three minutes does
to change your life.
Good luck.
All right.
I want that jacket.
Whoo!
Thank you.
He killed it.
My man!
Wow.
Wow, wow, wow, wow, wow.
Okay, let's
start with Howie.
First of all,
you are a brilliant singer,
performer,
consummate professional.
And you are a champion.
You are a winner.
It's amazing.
I would imagine our 50 states
are now clicking.
- Only one more spot.
- To go through.
- I think you just locked it in,
- young man.
I do.
Mel.
This is how you put on
a killer, killer,
killer performance.
My God, you just smashed it.
Smashed it, smashed it,
bish, bosh, bang.
- Smashed it.
- You're brilliant.
Brilliant.
- Thank you.
- Heidi.
I mean, you can sing.
You can just sing
so beautifully.
I feel it when you sing.
I'm right there with you.
And you command that stage
like no one else.
I mean, you're so special.
- And I loved seeing.
- You again today.
So much has happened
since we saw you,
whether it's.
"The Greatest Showman,"
whether it's "A Star Is Born,"
there is a shift...
There's a change in music.
- And this is where.
- You should be.
- You should be singing.
- Those kind of songs.
You have an absolutely
amazing voice.
Amazing voice.
This was in a different league
to anything you've done before.
I'm very proud of you, Brian.
And the 50 states voting,
I think you have a shot
- after that.
- I really do.
- Thank you.
- That was great.
- Well done.
- Awesome.
Thanks, guys.
- I think it's a stiff.
- Competition,
- But between your Golden Buzzer.
- And him,
I think he just locked it in.
- But we've been.
- Surprised before.
Are you ready for some more
talent tonight?
It's gonna be really hard.
This is "Champions."
I'm glad I'm not the one
making the decision tonight.
- You know,
- I look around the room.
And I see - all these people.
- Do you think the pressure.
- Is higher than ever before?
It's really hard,
and I'm 44.
- It is the best of the best.
- Yeah.
And it's like, "Wow."
My name is Kenichi Ebina.
I'm a dancer.
Listen, I always called
myself the biggest robot
- of all time.
- No.
- But you are the best.
- I'm the smallest.
You are the best.
And I was the winner
of season eight
of "America's Got Talent."
When I first walked
on the stage,
the judges didn't think I was
gonna be very good.
- How did you get.
- Into performing?
Um, I knew only
the running man.
But then...
My God!
Wow!
I was like, "Yes."
The winner is...
When America chose me
as a winner...
Kenichi Ebina!
It was, like, one of
my best moments of my life.
I felt like all America,
you know, loved me.
"America's Got Talent"
gave me such a success.
I was Internet sensation.
In any countries I go,
somebody recognize me.
"You're the guy who does,
uhdoes, this."
You know, everyone, this.
I want to keep performing
as long as possible.
But since then,
it's been five years,
so the dancers are getting
better and better
and I'm becoming older.
I'm 44.
Does that make you a little
more nervous about this
- performance tonight?
- Yes.
Talk to me.
My skill is not as good as
before, like five years ago.
Like, I see myself
moving heavy.
To compete, I have
to use my brain.
I'm always thinking about how
I get bigger and better.
But, um, it's gonna be tough.
My favorite!
Kenichi's in the house!
Kenichi!
Thank you for coming back.
Thank you for inviting me.
Now, you won.
"America's Got Talent" 2013.
Yes.
- So how did that.
- Change your life?
Well, of course,
my life is much better.
- I've been traveling.
- All over the places.
And, I make more money
and then...
- Wow.
- Yes!
Good for you.
Go for it.
Good luck.
Thank you.
Whoa.
Level two!
Come on!
How'd he do that?
He's a one-man action movie.
What do you think, Heidi?
I just would love
to be in your brain,
just to see how you
figure it all out.
- You always come up.
- With something new,
- And I'm a huge fan, Kenichi.
- Thank you, thank you.
- I really am.
- I loved it.
Well, first of all,
that isn't easy.
And you are already a winner.
So that's that, right?
Yes.
Now...
Get ready.
- I have to be really,
- really honest.
Now, you won it...
Hold on!
I would havel...
Jeez.
I just thinkl think on this
occasion, you overachieved.
- I think the production.
- Was too big.
But, I mean, you can't take
away from the fact
that you separated your body
and you moved your head
- off your body.
- I mean, come on.
Look, I've always, always,
always loved you.
That was original,
and to have you back,
it's fantastic,
because the more we see you,
the more we like you.
Well done.
And what's the dog's name?
Pup.
Where do we buy them?
Amazon.
- Well, thank you very much,
- Kenichi.
- Well done.
- Thank you so much.
See you a bit later.
Hello, everyone.
You can boo Mel
as much as you want.
No! No!
- Let's just practice that,
- one boo.
No!
Big round of applause
for Mel.
Why? Why me?
Welcome back.
All of the acts
have had their shot.
The goal is a spot
in the finals,
and now it's crunch time.
Kechi is already through.
That's down
to Simon's Golden Buzzer.
So that leaves just one spot
open in the finals,
and we've got nine acts
who want it.
- The Golden Buzzer's.
- Been given away,
So there's only one act left
to go to the final,
so it's very nerve-racking.
I don't want to go home yet.
You just smashed it.
- I wanted more.
- And more and more.
We got to the best
of the best in our groups,
and now we're in the best
of the best of the best.
And that wasn't a stutter.
That was a real...
All those bests.
I just love you.
You are a champion.
You are a winner.
- I feel like there.
- Is an added pressure.
Because I won my season.
You want people to go,
"Well, that's why you won,
- and that's why.
- "You could win again."
- You know who's.
- Really pissed at you?
Yep.
He's giving you evil eye.
- This was in.
- A different league,
- Something you've never.
- Done before.
I think you have a shot
after that.
This is it.
The votes are locked now.
First, let's find out
who made it into the top three.
The first act is...
Brian Justin Crum!
Yes!
Okay!
The act taking the next spot
in the top three is...
Paul Zerdin!
Congratulations, Paul!
There's just one spot left
in the top three.
Our 50 states have voted.
Whoa, wait, wait, wait, wait.
This has never happened before.
It's a dead heat.
What does that mean?
Two of you have tied for the
final spot in the top three.
The acts going
into the top three are...
Really?
Tape Face and Drew Lynch!
Come on in.
Come on in.
Let's hear it
for all our other acts!
- Thank you so much.
- For being here.
That's unbelievable.
Whoo, so we have
our top acts
Brian Justin Crum,
Paul Zerdin,
Tape Face,
and Drew Lynch!
But now only one act
can go through to the finals.
It's all down to how
our 50 states voted.
Brian, you won
in Hawaii, Texas,
and your home state
of California.
Paul, you won the South,
and most of your votes
were from women.
Tape Face, you did your best
with male voters.
And, Drew, you did your best
with voters age 18 through 34.
Whoo-hoo!
First, we're gonna find out
who finished in third place.
Our states have voted.
The act finishing
in third place is...
Tape Face and Drew Lynch!
Congratulations, guys!
- This will make you happy.
- Yet sad.
You guys are amazing!
Thank you so much.
Let's hear it one more time
for Tape Face and Drew Lynch,
please!
That leaves us
with Brian Justin Crum
and Paul Zerdin,
two acts for one spot.
The superfans have decided.
The act going through
to the finals is...
Brian Justin Crum!
Paul, you were great,
my man!
Everybody give it up
for Paul Zerdin!
Congrats.
Brian, you are in
the finals of "Champions"!
Yeah!
Brian, what do you want to
say to the people of America?
I just want to say
thank you, thank you,
thank you, guys, so much.
This is my dream, and thank you
for helping me get here.
And please welcome back
our Golden Buzzer, Kechi!
Whoa!
These two acts will be
back in the finals,
and one of them could be.
"Champions"
the best in the world.
Next time, ten more acts
will be fighting
for a spot in the final.
It's gonna be epic!
I'm Terry Crews.
Good night, America!
