The Secret of Skinwalker Ranch (2020–…): Season 3, Episode 1 - Number 19 - full transcript

The season premiere, this year to have 10 episodes.

I'm Dr. Travis Taylor.

As an astrophysicist,
aerospace engineer

and an optical scientist
with over 30 years

of experience working with NASA
and the Department of Defense,

I've always been
intensely curious about

the unknowns in the universe.

So, in 2021, when
our own government

acknowledged that
unidentified aerial phenomena...

Or UAPs... are real...

it was no surprise to see

how the media, the
public and Congress

wanted answers.

Right now,

I'm headed back
to a place called

Skinwalker Ranch

to rejoin the team

as we begin our
third year investigating

a number of
unexplained phenomena.

It is going nuts.

We've experienced
everything from dangerous spikes

- in radiation...
- It just jumped to 18.

- We need to get out of here, guys.
- Let's get out of here.

Evidence of
mysterious underground structures...

This thing is a
thousand feet long.

To inexplicable
equipment failures.

Something's turning this off.

North is that way,

- and it's pointing south.
- This is crazy.

But the most extraordinary thing

we've witnessed so far

are numerous UAPs.

- Look. Look. Look.
- What is that?

Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait.

There's something here.

Just like the public,
our team wants answers, too.

And this 512-acre property
just might have them.

There is
a ranch in Northern Utah.

It is considered the epicenter

of the strangest and most
disturbing phenomena on Earth:

animal mutilations,

bizarre UFO sightings

and unusual energies that
have proven harmful to humans.

For 20 years, the
federal government

tried to find
answers and failed.

Now a new team of
dedicated scientists,

researchers and
experts has taken over.

They are determined to
solve the mystery and reveal...

The Secret of Skinwalker Ranch.

Skinwalker command center,

Dragon, this is Cameron.
We're entering the airspace

of the Skinwalker
Ranch at this time.

I'm Brandon Fugal,
the owner of Skinwalker Ranch.

One of the reasons
why I acquired the ranch

in the first place was
due to the mystery.

With Skinwalker Ranch,
truth is stranger than fiction.

And the reality of the
phenomena at Skinwalker Ranch

has become even more compelling.

Governor Herbert, it is
a privilege to be entering

Skinwalker Ranch with you today

to meet with the team
and to be fully briefed.

Well, Brandon,
thank you very much.

We're honored to
be here with you.

As our investigation

has progressed,
I felt it important

to bring in a higher level

of oversight.

Governor Herbert
has very real interest

in what is happening
at Skinwalker Ranch

and is committed to assist us.

You can see ahead of us,

you know, what many refer to

as Skinwalker Ridge, which
is a main point of interest

that runs the entire
expanse of the property.

We're also, you know, flying
over the infamous triangle area

that, uh, seems to also
be a center of gravity for

strange activity and events.

Welcome to Skinwalker Ranch,

I think the greatest

scientific investigation
of our time.

Our team has reassembled

to resume our
investigation for the summer,

and our plans are as ambitious

as any we have ever
formed together as a group.

I really am excited
about this work.

Well, looks like they're here.

I can't wait to get
this investigation underway.

Not only is there so
much unfinished business

from last year,

but the world has
literally changed overnight,

and now we have
even more to uncover

with the connection
between the ranch

and UAPs from around the world.

And with government
officials involved,

it's going to be an
exciting summer.

Here we go.

This year, we're gonna push

experiments beyond

anything that's ever happened
here on Skinwalker Ranch.

Dragon, how's it going?

- Good. How are you?
- Good to be with you.

I will tell
you that each one of us

is more determined
than ever to understand

what's truly happening
on this crazy ranch.

Team, it's good to see
everyone assembled

and good to welcome
Dr. Taylor back.

- Thanks, Brandon.
- I'd like to introduce

everyone to former Governor
Gary Herbert and also

his former Chief of
Staff Derek Miller.

Thank you, Brandon, for
the invitation to come out

and spend a day with you.

What's happening
here at Skinwalker Ranch

is important.

Government has a
role to play in this issue,

if for no other reason
than for national defense.

I think a lot of people

are fascinated by what
you all are doing here.

The fact that you had so many
different unexplained phenomena.

What I like about what
you're doing here is

it's based on science,

uh, things that we can do
with the scientific method

and do the research
and try to understand

what is taking place.

I know I'm really anxious
to hear what you have to say

and-and see what I
can learn here today.

Which begs the
question, what is the main

objective as we move forward?

There are a number of things
that we want to follow up on.

We've done various events
down at Homestead Two

and have had phenomena
occur that we've captured on...

on various instruments.

Over the course
of the last two years,

Homestead Two has
been a bona fide hot spot

of unexplained phenomena.

It is freezing cold right here
in front of the homestead.

We've seen
crazy energy readings,

radiation spikes...

We were just exposed
to ionizing radiation.

And thermal imaging anomalies

that might even be
explained scientifically

as wormholes, like
Albert Einstein described.

It remains a location that
we need to put more focus on.

I would propose that we work
to engage the phenomena,

that we work to
interact with whatever

intelligence is here,

on or above the property.

We've talked about some
things over the... in the past

about how we might,

if there is something that
will respond to stimulus

to first get it to respond,
we've kind of done that.

Now, the next thing is trying to
understand what the response is.

You know, there's a lot

that I'm learning, there's
a lot that we don't know.

Certainly, there's a
lot of phenomena here

that is occurring

that we don't have
explanation for.

Governor, I doubt
whatever this phenomena is,

is stopped by the barbed wire
fence along the property line.

Well, a key aspect of our

investigation has been
community engagement.

Working with the
surrounding residents

in order to determine

whether these events
are confined to the property

or whether it-it involves
other points of interest

within the-the basin.

Jim, Tom Lewis, Kandus.

You're in a unique position

to work with the
community, help document

what is happening, not
only on the property but also

- in the expanded area.
- Yeah, absolutely.

Yeah, nothing I'd
rather be doing.

Hopefully, you can open
some doors for us, Governor,

even going back to
Washington, D.C.,

that, uh, may be
able to bring resource

and insight

that'll help us advance
the investigation.

I do know people, and
so keeping me informed

will help us maybe expand

the circle here of people
we can get engaged.

Uh, Governor, we have a spot

that's above the ranch, in
what we call the Triangle,

that we think is right
at about a mile high,

uh, from the surface.

And we think that
we're getting, uh,

anomalous energy readings
coming from that spot

in the sky above the
ranch that we measured

with all these different
scientific instruments.

The triangle
has been a mystery to us

since the very early days

of our investigation
here at Skinwalker Ranch.

We've stimulated UAP activity

when we fire
rockets up through it.

What's this? What's this?

We got
something. We got something.

We got something right here.

We drilled down below

and found a strange substance.

Take any modern-day
fighter plane or spacecraft,

and you crush it up, and
then you take a sample of it,

you're probably gonna
get these materials.

We triangulated a phantom
signal from directly one mile up.

And last year, when we
tried to get a closer look,

something was tracking us
under Brandon's helicopter.

So, I'm showing radar altimeter

showing we're only 40 feet
above the ground right now.

That's not good.

So, something could be under us.

40-something feet under us?

It showed something
under us, 40 feet below us.

Holy crap.

So, it lends you
down various paths

of imagination as
to what that could be.

Uh, was it some advanced,
uh, stealth vehicle?

I'm sorry to interrupt. Um...

I'm getting some
unusual air traffic.

I want to go
check it out inside.

- I'll be right back.
- What?

Erik's got a built-in
system where he can track

all of the air traffic
above the ranch.

So, when he jumped
up and ran inside,

we're all wondering,
like, what's going on?

Travis, you-you got to see this.

Hang on.

One second.

What's going on, Erik?

See, check this out.

That's crazy.

Looks to me like we've got

a Gulfstream G5.

Look at that.

So, this is a
National Science Foundation.

National Science
Foundation United States

Gulfstream Aerospace G5.

He's doing some sort
of a grid survey pattern

right over us, and
we're right here.

Right in the
middle of our team meeting

with former Governor
Gary Herbert,

Erik suddenly detected

a government aircraft
flying a very distinct pattern

about 45,000 feet
above Skinwalker Ranch.

This pattern is shifting
to the northwest.

Without instrumentation,
without an autopilot coupled,

you cannot do it.

And then
furthermore, to do it at

45,000 feet, it will mess
with air traffic control.

They have to get specific
permission to do this grid.

You're in controlled airspace.

So, what type of survey

could they be doing
at that sort of elevation,

in that sort of a pattern?

Would it be lidar?
Would it be...

This looks to me like

a pattern you would do if
you were doing very detailed

3D mapping and lidar imagery,

like reconnaissance.

The National Science Foundation

is an independent
federal organization

created by Congress.

Why would the federal government

be flying a reconnaissance
mission above Skinwalker Ranch?

What are they trying to collect?

That's not a sightseeing
tour in a grid pattern like that.

And why were they
doing it right here?

- Well, right above the ranch.
- Yeah.

It's not a coincidence.

I mean, this has been
preplanned and predetermined

to do this for whatever purpose.

It may be that there's some
interest in the federal level,

which we knew happened
way before you got the ranch.

Is someone listening
to what we're doing?

And if so, for what purpose?

That's the weird part, yeah.

Between 2008 and 2013,

when Robert Bigelow was
the owner of Skinwalker Ranch,

there was a black-budget
Pentagon-funded program

that studied many of the
claims associated with the ranch.

I have a hard
time believing that,

following the
government investigation,

that they just
simply lost interest.

Well, I got to tell you that,

uh, it gives us some
things to think about.

Yeah, please,
let's-let's get back to it.

I don't
believe it was a coincidence

that in the midst of
briefing Governor Herbert

on the next phase
of our investigation,

Erik Bard discovered

a strange craft above

the property
conducting surveillance.

I believe this is
potential evidence that

we're-we're not
only being monitored,

but there are other
active programs

that may involve

what we're doing here right now.

Which begs the question,
what are our next steps?

Well, the consensus
among us is that

we want to be able to
use the helicopter to return

to that 5,000-foot
point over the mesa,

you know, over the...
what we call the triangle.

- Okay.
- And we want to find the right way

to engage that spot,

- take additional measurements.
- Sure.

And I think we
need to drop packages

with payloads on them
from the helicopter.

Uh, what-what would
you like to drop?

What do you have in mind
to drop through that-that area?

Well, you know, I have an idea
of involving GPS, uh, you know,

coming through, perhaps on
descent down through that area.

Any kind of measurement payload

that we can either take with
us up there, fly through the area,

above the area, drop through it,

I think... I think
that's worth our time.

I think it warrants
effort on our part.

- Yeah.
- That's exciting.

We're going up to 6,000 feet

so we can drop GPS trackers

down through that
5,000-foot region

where we've detected
all this anomalous energy

and seen the UAPs.

Now, if there's anything
unusual in the data,

that could be just what
we need to pinpoint

the exact spot where these
anomalies are occurring.

Cameron, are you willing

to reengage with
the helicopter to

conduct further
experiments above that area?

Of course, if we can do it
safely, I'm okay with that.

At any point, any
of us feel uneasy,

uh, we need to call it off,

we need to terminate
that experiment.

I think we should
proceed with urgency,

and I-I'd like to
immediately schedule

really engaging
with the helicopter

and conducting this experiment.

That's uh, I think,
the logical next step.

Okay. Yeah.

We can plan that.

We... we're
proud of this effort.

This is truly a
multidisciplinary effort.

So, thank you for
your commitment.

Onward.

- Erik, guess we got stuff to do.
- We do.

All right.

We've got a lot of work to do

to get set up for this
experiment over the triangle.

With our first
experiment taking place

in the sky above the ranch,

we called in the guys
from LiveView Technologies

to set us up with some
high-tech camera systems

around the property.

They'll give us
the ability to film

in high definition, 360 degrees

all around the ranch 24/7,
and they also have thermal

and night vision
technologies for total coverage.

You want to hand
me the center camera?

When the experiment
is over, we'll be able to

keep the cameras up
and running indefinitely

so that they'll be able to
cover the ranch and the sky

during all of our
future experiments.

We got
several more to go, so, uh,

I suggest we head down and go

- put those other ones up.
- Okay, sounds good.

So, these are the actual ones.

I'll leave it to you and
Erik to figure out the foam

and the packing,
but I think we can just

put 'em back together
just like that and wrap it

- with some packing tape.
- Yeah, yeah, yeah.

- If you think that works.
- I think that's great.

While Erik and the LVT team

are installing our
new camera system

across the ranch,
Dragon and I are preparing

for the GPS experiment.

All right, so this will go here.

We've painted
the tubes different colors

so that we can be sure to
see them on the descent.

Depending on the clouds

and the sun, we won't
know which color's

most visible until
we start to drop them.

And I'm real excited because I
know there's something up there,

and I've been dying
to get a closer look,

so, hopefully, with
this experiment,

we'll solve the mystery of
the anomaly above the triangle.

- All right, man.
- Okay, thanks, Trav.

Yeah. Thank you.

This is a perfect
location for this thing.

You know, if there's any spot

I'm interested in locating
one of these units,

it's on top of this
mesa, on this ridge line,

- and this would be the spot.
- Yeah. Okay.

We now have
thermal, night vision

and daylight cameras
positioned along the north,

south, east and west
perimeters of the ranch.

All our cameras will be focused

on the triangle
for this experiment.

We're ready to go. All
we need now is Cameron.

- Good job, guys.
- All right. This is awesome.

To have this up here,

I mean, who knows
what we're gonna catch?

I'm confident that
if something happens,

we're going to detect
it with this new system.

This is the eye in the sky.

Hey, Erik.
Cameron's here.

Great. Bring him on in.

What happened
during last year's exercise

was frightening, quite honestly.

Before we ask Cameron
to go up to the triangle,

we want him to see the video
from last year's experiment.

He needs to know
what we're seeing.

- Hey, Erik. How are you?
- Hey, buddy. How you doing, man?

- Good. Good to see you, brother.
- Good to see you again. Good to see you.

Before we go back
into the sky for this experiment,

I do want to get your eyes
on some things that we caught

during last year's exercise.

I'd love to see it.

I'm going to show you a
few clips that I've put together,

and then we'll look
at some still frames

- taken out of these clips.
- Okay.

I just want to see if
you notice anything.

Okay.

Has anything jumped out at you?

- No.
- Would you like to see it again?

- Yeah, I'd like to see it again.
- All right.

Let's go, let's go take
a look at some frames.

Well, so watch,
watch very carefully

for a change in the
blue background.

Okay.

- Oh. Oh, my gosh.
- You see that?

- Yeah, look at that.
- God.

I'd like to show you
another sequence.

So, as you can imagine,

I've been searching
frame by frame

through anything we've got.

Wow.

Look at that.

- That's just crazy right there.
- Oh, yeah.

Right under the helicopter.

- That's crazy.
- That's...

- that's very suggestive.
- We were in there.

Could this explain
what happened last year

with Cameron's altimeter?

I don't know, but
something flew under

the helicopter back
and forth multiple times.

- Velocity changes, it starts climbing.
- Mm-hmm.

And it was faster than
the helicopter as well.

It got way too close
to the helicopter.

- Way, way too close.
- It concerns me.

Whatever it is, if it happened

to pass through
our rotor system,

it could be catastrophic.

- Oh, yeah.
- Um, but it seemed to stay outside

of the helicopter's boundary.

Which suggests that

it didn't want to
collide into us, either.

No.

Yeah, I was staring
out the window

looking as far down as
I could from the inside

- and saw nothing.
- I never saw anything. Yeah.

It was
concerning that something could

be right underneath
the aircraft.

As a pilot, you've got
to be ready for anything.

But they don't train you
for things that you can't see.

So, that's what I wanted
to share with you, Cameron,

and going into
this, I was asking,

you know, if you're comfortable

conducting another
experiment with us.

Now that you've seen
this, what do you think?

You-you do what you think
is the safest thing to do.

Well, it's all about
risk mitigation.

- Risk versus reward.
- Mm-hmm.

I think there's a lot that
we need to still discover

or research here.

As long as safety
is our first concern

and we always prioritize that,
I'm okay with this experiment.

- Let's get up there.
- Sounds good.

We've got to get
those instruments

packed and ready to go.

- Let's do it.
- Hey, let's go.

All right. Thanks, Erik.

You got it.

All right, guys.
I think this is it.

We need another bite
at this apple, and Cameron knows

this airspace better than
anyone, hands down, period.

Now we just got to get
up there and get to work

and hope this time we
get to finish our experiment

before something else
happens to shut us down.

Load this up.

Last time we had the helicopter

up above the
triangle, it was saying

that there was something
underneath of it.

Sometimes as close

as 38 feet when it was up

at this 5,000-foot mark.

So I'm gonna be
watching carefully.

We've got a telescope set
up. We've got cameras set up.

I'm gonna take
this up the ladder.

And our hope is

that if Cameron

encounters any of
the same anomalies

he did last time he was flying,

that we'll be able to
capture it and see it.

We are all ready. Uh, take off.

Erik says the sooner the better.

Fuel pump on.
Check, check, check.

Pulse lights, check,
and engines start.

Bryant and Travis
will be on board the helicopter

releasing the GPS
trackers into the air.

Thomas and I will be observing

from down on the ground
at the observation point

in the east field.

Do you want me to
hand that up to you?

- Yeah, go for it.
- I will be monitoring

the GPS units

as they broadcast
their positions.

We're going to allow
the tracking devices

to log their positions
on an internal SD card.

There's a light blinking pattern
when things are working right.

- Okay.
- And we're also going to try

to measure the signals
coming from those

GPS trackers in real time

as they broadcast
their positions

and see if any interesting
features show up as they fall.

Okay, I've got the
triangle location set.

All the warning systems
look good. We're set.

We're ready to head up.

There have
been a lot of theories

and ideas tossed out about
what could be above the ranch.

Could it be a
portal or a wormhole

or some massive energy source
or even a gravitational field?

Those sound like
far-off ideas to me,

but we know that
there's something strange

going on up there, and
we need to get more data

to determine what it is.

We're 1,600
feet above the ground.

Winds are just up to five
knots out of the southeast.

And you can see the triangle
off to the side there, Travis.

Yup.
Yeah, I'm watching it.

- I've got eyes on it.
- All right, perfect.

Erik, this is Cameron.

We're through 10,000
feet above sea level,

5,000 foot over the ranch.

Approaching 6,000
foot over the ranch.

We're about ready to drop
that whenever you're ready.

We have eyes on
you, and we are ready.

Okay, Thomas, we're right
at the spot over the triangle.

Cameron had
the exact GPS coordinates

of the triangle from
last year's experiments

that he locked onto.

His instruments all said we
were right over the triangle.

Here we go on a countdown. Five.

- Well, wait, are we over the...
- Four. Three..

- Are we over the triangle?
- No, we're not.

Uh, that's a negative.

We have eyes on you,

and you're not anywhere
close to the triangle.

That's not good.

Huh.

Stand by. Stand by on that drop.

This makes
absolutely no sense to me.

The GPS had us
locked to the triangle,

saying we were right above it,

then all a sudden, we weren't.

It's like something
pushed us off course

without us even realizing.

- That's crazy.
- Makes no sense.

GPS said we were
right over the triangle,

but Dragon and I
could see we were

way off the mark.

Cameron's GPS has
never malfunctioned like this,

and it just doesn't happen
in this kind of helicopter.

It's as if something was
messing with our GPS

and telling us we're
somewhere we're not.

Stand by. Stand by on that drop.

This helicopter has
the latest in technological advances.

It's got top-of-the-line
avionics and instrumentation.

To have something
like this happen

is very, uh, untypical.

We don't see anything here.

Nothing on the radar.
Altimeter is blank.

I think if you get where
I can see the triangle.

Okay let's do that.

You'll go slightly northeast.

- Northeast?
- Slightly. All right, there.

- Now, hold that heading right there.
- Okay.

Since we couldn't rely

on the instruments to
get us over the target,

we had to go
old-school on this one

and just eyeball the drop site.

I-I think we're...
No, keep going.

Keep going east.

Yeah, I've got the-the triangle

immediately beneath us

- on the-the left side.
- Yup.

I actually look
straight down my leg

and use it sort of
as a barrel sight,

and I'm right over the triangle.

All right, so we
should contact Erik

and tell him that
we're getting close

to, uh, launching
one of the bottles.

Hey, Thomas, this is Cameron.

We're through 10,000 feet

above sea level, 5,000
foot over the ranch.

We're about ready

to drop that test bottle
whenever you're ready.

Are we ready?

Yeah, I'm getting
nothing. There's no data.

And I'm not getting
the raw signal.

So, we are not picking
up telemetry signals.

The light that's supposed
to be blinking green...

This is telling me
we're getting no data.

I can't lock on to them.

Clearly, something is
interfering with the signals.

All right, we've copied on that.

- It messes with GPS.
- How about that?

It's like
something was jamming us

or blocking our signal, and
we needed to start tossing

these sensors out the door

before something else
happened that would shut us down.

They should be landing
right in the triangle,

so we'll just have to go collect
them after the experiment

in order to get the data.

We're willing to try,

maybe if it got away
from the helicopter,

it'll pick up some telemetry,

but it's up to you,
Erik. Your call.

Yeah, at some point, we're
just gonna have to make the call.

All right, so it sounds like

Erik's willing to go
ahead and just drop,

even without a signal,
to see if we can pick it up

as it tumbles down to earth.

All right, so I'm gonna
drop this GPS right now.

Three, two, one, package away.

Package away.

I have eyes on the package.

Okay, here comes the next drop.

Counting five, four,

three, two, one.

Cargo away.

The majority of the packages
are landing north of the mesa.

Drop the rest of them
further to the south.

I think there is a
headwind, uh, aloft here.

- Cameron, is that right?
- That is incorrect.

We've actually got a
tailwind pushing us right now.

Wow, 'cause it looked like,
uh, it pulled the bottle behind us.

Still doesn't match where
those things are flying east.

- Yeah, right?
- Yeah, that's strange.

Why would they
drift that way when the wind...

It's a pretty good wind out of
the east blowing to the west.

All right, I
am right over the target.

- Tell them I'm ready to drop.
- We're ready to drop

- if you're ready.
- Ready when you are.

Five, four, three,

two, one.

Bottle is dropped.

Erik, it's in the air somewhere.
Are you picking up data?

I'm getting nothing.

We are not picking up
telemetry signals from packages.

We know that Erik's GPS trackers

were working when we
put them in the helicopter.

Uh, roger. Copy on that.

Let's start throwing
these others out.

Yeah. Just
tell them let's try it.

We're gonna
throw the others out.

The GPS units still weren't

transmitting data, and
that was making me

a little bit nervous,

so I wanted to get these

tubes out the door
as fast as we could

and hope we could
find them later.

Dropping multiple payloads.
Let us know what you get.

I'm getting no data.

We've got to retrieve those
cards or we've got nothing.

We have eyes on them.

Yeah, we're right
over it. I'm right over it.

We were
dropping multiple bottles,

one after another after another,

just to try and get as
many of them out the door

as we possibly could.

Chuck them.

Oh, I'm chunking.
I ain't stopping.

We threw out
the last 20 GPS trackers

just hoping that we'd
be able to get good data

even though Erik
couldn't track them.

You guys have any more to drop?

When you are in position,
go ahead and drop.

Five, four, three, two, one.

Dragon's drop.

Package is away.

All right, Cameron,
what elevation

are you at at this
present moment?

We're 5,000 feet
above the surface.

I'm getting raw signal.

Come on.

Copy that. Thank you.

Erik just started
receiving data.

Uh, we say go ahead with it.

All right, we're gonna
drop this last bottle

right over the triangle.
Are you ready?

Go ahead when you're ready.

- All right I'm dropping now.
- Dropping now.

Look how it went back.

- Yeah, it went way backwards.
- What the heck?

It's in the air.

- They're going behind us.
- It's moving backwards from where we're at.

Yeah. Yeah, yeah.

I lost it.

Where'd it go? Where'd it go?
Where'd it go? Where'd it go?

You know, I had eyes on it until
it got probably a couple hundred

feet above the ground,
and then I lost eyes on it.

They're throwing out this tube

with this long
20-foot red ribbon.

I'm getting eyes
on this package,

then all of a sudden, I
can't see it from the ground.

It disappeared.

- That's interesting.
- Finally,

we get a good GPS signal

for the first time in
this dang experiment.

But as the GPS tube was
dropping through the zone

of the triangle, we were
tracking it and tracking it,

and then it just disappeared,
along with its signal.

It was there one minute,
and then it was gone.

Thomas had eyes on it, too,

and he said it just
disappeared out of thin air.

That makes no sense.

- Where did it go?
- I lost it.

It just... it disappeared.

So all packages have
been delivered, correct?

All-all packages have dropped.

We can, uh... we
can return to base.

Can you guys see some of

the packages on
the ground up there?

Tell him we'll look.

We'll look here,

and then they'll-they'll
pick them up.

Erik would like to
make it clear that if we

do not retrieve any
of the packages,

we have zero data.

On the surface, this seems like

a very simple and
straightforward experiment.

And yet, here we are once again

baffled because the
packages that are dropped

out of the helicopter,
one, are not landing where

we think they should, and
we're not even finding them.

And I'm sitting here just
shaking my head thinking

here's another
experiment in the triangle

that just didn't go as planned.

Uh, think we had
any go this far south?

No, I don't think so.

Guide me where we ought to go,

and we'll, uh,
let's start looking.

I think some of them
went north and east, too,

so we should, uh,
go a little bit that way.

Red. Red. Right below us.

Okay, why
don't we grab that one.

Yeah, I need to
find a flatter spot.

I'll go.

From the triangle,

we're about, uh, 2,800 feet.

That's crazy.

There's no reason
it should've drifted over here.

The winds aloft
were not doing that.

And the wind was
coming out of the north.

- Yeah, it makes no sense.
- That makes no sense.

When we dropped
the payload packages,

they actually moved
against the wind.

These packages
have no propulsion.

They should've gone
with the wind like a kite.

How about that?

It makes no sense.

Do you copy? This
is, uh, Cameron.

Anybody on the ground copy?

- Uh, I hear you.
- Hey, Thomas,

we've got, uh, one package.

We're looking for others. We're
doing a search grid up here.

Yeah, they've only
found one package.

Maybe that's all we need.

- Right here.
- Straight ahead to your right.

- Right there in front of us. Right...
- Right... Yeah.

Set down here. We
need to set down here.

So, there's two.
This is a start.

We're coming
back to land at this time.

Copy that.

We'll, uh, meet
you at the helipad.

All right. Let's head back.

I know that I saw
the triangle right below us,

and for these bottles
to land so far off target,

it's like some invisible
force just pushed them away.

I don't know what that could be,

but I hope the data
gives us some answers.

Hey, guys.

- Hey, there.
- Hey, Trav.

That was a fun flight.

- It was.
- I'll bet.

Did, uh, you guys get any data?

That remains to be seen.

The answer is in that bottle.

The weird thing is,
from our perspective,

the bottles didn't land
where they were supposed to

according to the wind
indication from the instrument.

- That's crazy.
- That's really odd.

That just makes the
data on that card...

If we have any... that
much more interesting.

Well, actually, we've got
some work cut out for us,

'cause there's still a
bunch of them scattered out

across up there, and there's
some down on the south end.

So we're gonna have to go do
some, uh, you know, expeditions

to find them, right?

But first and foremost,
we should get

as much of the data
crunched and looked at.

Yeah. I'm-I'm getting
impatient just standing here.

I want to get that... I
want to get that data

- out of that bottle.
- This is gonna be

amazing data and
very useful data.

Excellent. I've got more
flights I've got to go on today,

so I've got to head back out.

- All right, thanks. Thank you.
- Appreciate you.

Hopefully, we will
be able to retrieve

the onboard data intact

and get our first real glimpse
at what might be happening

with GPS in the
skies above the ranch.

You guys ready to
look at some GPS data

from that helicopter drop?

Heck yeah.

So, we had, uh, two bottles

- that we recovered so far, right?
- Yeah.

We've retrieved
two of them so far.

And we're lucky to
have what we've got.

Of the GPS trackers
that we released

from the helicopter, we
managed to retrieve two of them,

and it appears
the data are intact.

At this point, we don't know
the location of the others.

I've had a preliminary
look at the data,

and there are some
interesting discrepancies.

What I want to show you

are the two separate
GPS data payloads.

All right. Now,

let me explain what
you're looking at here.

You can probably guess.

These, uh, blue
cubes that I'm using

represent the position
of the GPS payloads.

This is where things
start getting strange.

These blue cubes appear to be

50 feet, 70 feet below
the surface of the mesa.

Looks like you
smashed into the mesa.

What the heck?

How?

The blue cubes
that represent the GPS sensor

as we were on our way
up to the 5,000-foot point

show that the helicopter
actually went into the mesa

and came back out again.

Obviously, that didn't happen,

but something made
our GPS think that it did.

How far below ground are
those points there in the mesa?

- Do you have that information?
- Um, sure.

We can actually
look below the mesa.

These blue cubes that I'm using

to represent the
GPS data payloads

appear to be 50 feet, 70 feet
below the surface of the mesa.

How?

And I got to tell you, you were
hundreds of feet above the mesa.

It looks like the
GPS data is inside

the mesa in that location.

But now here's something else

that just staggers my mind.

Like, look where we are
when we throw the bottle out.

We were right over the triangle
when we threw the bottle out.

- Mm-hmm.
- Are you looking straight down

- at this point?
- Looking straight down. So this is crazy.

- You're right here.
- You're looking straight down.

We're quarter mile
north of the triangle.

The GPS data also shows us

that when we were dropping
the bottles over the triangle,

we weren't anywhere
near the triangle

even though, to
us in the helicopter,

it looked like we
were right over it.

So what caused that?

And when we were
in the helicopter out,

we looked straight down.

Literally. My feet...

My foot was right on
the edge of the helicopter,

and I'm using my
leg as sort of a sight,

and I looked straight
down, and I was lined up

to the center of the triangle.

Well, if you find
all of that confusing...

wait till I show you
what happens when we lay

our second data
set on top of this.

- Look at that.
- These paths

should be identical up
to a certain point in time.

Look what happens here.

Right, but look
how they're overlaying

- each other for a minute up there.
- They're right on top.

- Right on top.
- Where you see white

is where the two tracks
are essentially identical.

Holy cow, look at that.

When we drop the payload...

So, we threw it out right there.

And then look, it goes upwind.

As if things aren't
weird enough.

First, the GPS thought
we went into the mesa.

Now we pinpointed
an exact location

above the triangle
where we've measured

strange energy
readings in the past,

and it looks like the GPS units

bounced off something
we couldn't see.

I wonder if that's
the same thing

that went under Cameron's
helicopter last year.

All right, so, holy crap.

Now, look. So, we have...

now have a region

and altitude that tells us
there's some kind of phenomena

taking place right here
that's messing with the GPS.

That's important right there.

That is something else. I
was not expecting to see that.

How many people have said

in stories, in books,

that there's a portal
above the ranch?

- Yeah.
- Now, I don't know

that I believe any of
that, but what I do know

is that experiment tells us

that there's some anomalous
something right there

above the mesa,
over the triangle.

- Right.
- This is so exciting,

it-it warrants us doing
something even grander on scale,

- so... Let's get to work.
- Agreed.

Erik, that's amazing
stuff. Great work, Erik.

We've just started
investigating again, and already,

there's a spot over the
ranch that may be a key

to finding the answers
we're looking for.

How far
do we have to go to find out?

This year, we will be
carrying our investigation deeper

and higher

and further than
in previous years.

As we move
into this year's investigation,

the ranch is a dangerous place.

What's in store for us?

When we start pushing further

and poking the
hornets' nest harder

than we've ever poked before,

how's the ranch gonna kick back?

Our journey
with the investigation

at Skinwalker Ranch continues

and not only
continues to escalate

but continues to
reveal new secrets.

This is not just a
scientific experiment

or research project
out in the middle

of a remote location
in the Uinta Basin.

The world is watching.

You never know what's
gonna happen here at Skinwalker Ranch.

What the hell was that?

Right, right
there. We got something!

What the hell is that?

We captured a UAP on camera.

We need to see
what's underground.

There's something
underneath this entire mesa

that's connected somehow.

That looks like a big
chunk of something.

Definitely looks metallic.

What scenario
could put fine metal

300 feet into this mesa?

That tells me that was
done to hide something.

This area is used to
keep the evil on that side.

We're getting
a spike of radiation.

There was a spike at 3,400.

Everybody out of here now.

- Hey.
- Are you okay?

No.

Tom just blacked out.

Someone or something

doesn't want us to collect
data from the triangle.

Hey, look!
UAP right there!

Oh, I see it!

We are not in control.

What is that solid light?

It's got a black dot
in the center of it.

What?

- Oh. Let's go.
- Oh, my God.

Something malevolent is here.
