('SAILING' BY ROD STEWART PLAYING)

DAVID: Where is he?

ALESHA: Where is Shane?

KATE: I didn't think he'd be the one
we'd be waiting for.

I thought he'd be...
Who do you think it would be?

You.
Why?

You think I am the diva?

Well, that's what I'd heard.

('THE FOUR SEASONS - SPRING'
BY ANTONI VIVALDI PLAYING)

Hello!
Oh, it's Ricki!

Hi, guys!

RICKI-LEE: You look fabulous.

I'm going to take you girls
to auditions.

What about David?

Shane--
I'm a lady.

I made a living out of that.

So, let me on the boat.

David, I think Shane's got something
special planned for you.

Oh, more special than this?

('TIMBER' BY PITBULL PLAYING)

By David!
Bye!

KATE: We'll see you soon!

By witches.

Bye!

Cheers!

(CHEERING AND APPLAUSE)

MAN: It's called 'Wheel of Death'
for a reason.

WOMAN: Oh my god,
he's looking right at me.

I hated it.

You worked really hard,
and you got your result.

Aw!

Four yesses.

(SINGING)

I'm a stand up comedian, yeah.

JUDGES: Yeah!

I'm gonna get buzzed off soon.

(CHEERING)

('JUNGLE BOOGIE'
BY KOOL AND THE GANG PLAYING)

Oh, no.

SHANE: Ah, ha.

Mr Walliams.

It doesn't look very comfortable.

Ha, ha. Yeah, baby!

Faster!

Oh my goodness! Hi!

You snooze, you loose!

(SHANE LAUGHING)

David looked like
he's enjoying it.

Told you it was quicker.

They'll be so jealous of us.

As they're eating their canapes,
popping their champagne,

and having their nails done.

Cheers to the auditions.
Yes.

Hello.

Stage is yours,
two minutes to change your life.

RICKI-LEE: They're going
to love you.

(SINGING) # Change my life,
and all my goals. #

(BUZZING)
Yeah, smash it!

Smash it.

What a thrill. Oh my gosh.

That was unbelievable.

SIENNA: This is the biggest stage
I've performed on.

I'm really hoping
to impress the judges.

For me, this is more than an act.

SVEN: Come on, hurry, hurry,
we got to go to the show.

(CHEERING)

(AUDIENCE CHEERING)

Do you know how much you win?
No.

It's 100,000. Didn't you know that?
No.

Well it is.

A hundred thousand dollars.

(GASPS)
(CASH REGISTER DINGS)

ANNOUNCER: The host of AGT,
Ricki-Lee!

Shall we bring out
your Australia's Got Talent judges?

(AUDIENCE CHEERING)

Shane Jacobson!

Alesha Dixon!

Kate Ritchie!

And David Walliams!

Alright, and should we all
get this party started?

Judges, take your seats, everybody.

You feeling alright?

Kate, you haven't given
your golden buzzer yet.

No, but I dreamt about it
last night.

Really?

Having not done it before,

then emotion is the only thing
I can really be driven by.

Of course, this is my first time
at this desk as well,

which I'm very excited about.

And you're doing an amazing job.

(AUDIENCE CHEERING)

Alright, you guys want to see
some talent?

(AUDIENCE CHEERING)

Make some noise!

Alright, let's get
this party started.

BOTH: Hello.

My name is Fadi Ramadhani.

My name is Ibrahim.

And together we are...

BOTH: The Ramadhani Brothers.

FADI: We are from Tanzania,
East Africa.

We practice acrobating
eight hours a day,

six times a week.

Building up our talent

and helping each other
in life as well.

Being on "Australia's Got Talent"
is a huge opportunity

for us to expose our talent.

Because in Africa
there are not many opportunities.

This is our first time
to be in Australia.

Today, we're going to perform
hand-to-hand acrobatics.

(INDISTINCT CHATTER)

My name is Winston.

I'm the acrobatic trainer
of the Ramadhani Brothers,

we've been together now,
almost, like, 17, 18 years.

Most importantly is to get
to the final

and expose the talent
that the boys have.

This is our first time
being on television.

First time performing
on a TV show?

First time ever.
Wow.

And we hope our Australian audience
will love us.

They're ready for you.
Are you ready?

(SHOUTING IN FOREIGN LANGUAGE)

(AUDIENCE CHEERING)

Hello, hello, hello.

Hello.
How are you?

We super good, thank you.

You're super good?

So, what's the name of your group?

BOTH: We are the Ramadhani Brothers.

We're from East Africa.

Tanzania, Dar es Salaam.

I've been to Tanzania!

Have you been to Tanzania?

I've been to Mount Kilimanjaro,
there.

Wow. Did you have
a good experience there?

I had an amazing experience.
I got to meet some amazing people.

Here we are.
We bring a live show from Tanzania.

Fantastic. So, what brings you
to Australia? Why AGT?

Here on Australia's Got Talent,
is our first TV show in our life.

Oh, wow.

(AUDIENCE CHEERING)

So, tell me,

what would winning $100,000
mean to you, guys?

Um, we have a school in Africa,

where very young artists stay.

So, we would like to help them,

because they are also dreaming

to be one of the best performer
around the world.

(AUDIENCE CHEERING)

Thank you. Thank you.

Well, thank you so much
for choosing AGT.

Two minutes can change your life.

The stage is yours. Go for it, guys.
Thank so much.

Good luck.
Thank you very much.

(AUDIENCE CHEERING)

I like it already. I mean, you know.

Very warm in here.

(AUDIENCE LAUGHING)

What?!

(AUDIENCE CHEERING)

(AUDIENCE GASPING)

KATE: Oh, my god!

(AUDIENCE APPLAUDING)

(AUDIENCE CHEERING)

(CHEERING)

(AUDIENCE CHEERING)

AUDIENCE: Oh!

ALESHA: That's brilliant!

Come on.

(AUDIENCE CHEERING)

KATE: How is he doing that?

(AUDIENCE CHEERING CONTINUES)

(GASPS)

(THUNDEROUS APPLAUSE)

They're not going back up
the stairs.

They're not going back up
the stairs.

No, he can't!

They deserve to win the whole show
if he goes back up the stairs.

(AUDIENCE LAUGHS)

(AUDIENCE GASPING)

ALESHA: No!

Oh!

This is ridiculous.

AUDIENCE: Oh!

AUDIENCE: Oh!
(SHRIEKS)

How's he even doing that?

Yeah!

(THUNDEROUS APPLAUSE)
Oh my god!

Yes!

(AUDIENCE CHEERING)

ALESHA: Woo!

(THUNDEROUS APPLAUSE CONTINUES)

(AUDIENCE CHEERING CONTINUES)

This is first TV show
you guys have done?

Yes.

Oh, well, congratulations,
Australia.

(AUDIENCE CHEERING)

Come on!

I don't even...

I can't even string
a sentence together

because I have never...

I've never seen anything like it
ever in my life.

That was just absolutely...

absolutely incredible to the point,
where I almost want to cry.

Because I'm, like,
"You guys are so talented".

I'm trying not to swear,
you're so great.

(ALL LAUGHING)

You're going to go
on a lot of shows

around the world

for the rest of your life.

Thank you.

Can you tell everyone

you did "Australia's Got Talent"
first?

Yes! Absolutely!

Give us that.

This is our footsteps
start from here.

Well, tonight a legend was born,
I think, in this act,

with these two amazing performers.

(AUDIENCE CHEERING)

I live for moments like this
on this show.

You remind me why I love this show
so much.

So, I'm kicking this off
with your very first, 'Yes'!

Alright, here we go. First 'yes'.

Can I go next?
Of course, Shane.

YES!
(AUDIENCE CHEERING)

Thank you.

YES!!!

Thank you.

Thank you.

(AUDIENCE CHEERING AND YELLING)

WOMAN: Golden buzzer!

ALESHA: Golden buzzer!

AUDIENCE (CHANTING): Golden buzzer!
Golden buzzer!

Golden buzzer! Golden buzzer!

Golden buzzer! Golden buzzer!
Golden buzzer! Golden buzzer!

(TRIUMPHANT MUSIC PLAYING)
(AUDIENCE CHEERING)

(SHRIEKS)

They are... amazing!

Ooh!

(JABBERING) Oh my god!

Thank you, Australia.

(CHEERING CONTINUES)

Hakuna matata! Hakuna matata!
Hakuna matata! Hakuna matata!

(MANIACAL LAUGH)

(BUZZER)

ALLAN: It's fairly physical.
Requires a bit of balance.

(AUDIENCE GASPING)

You just made the world
a better place.

(AUDIENCE CHEERING)

It was absolutely stunning.
One of those really 'Wow' moments.

(SHRIEKING)
Oh!

(ENGINE REVVING)

I'm a freestyle king.
That's what we do.

SHANE: Oh!
RICKI-LEE: Wow!

LORRAINE: Our choir is made up
of the most beautiful people

you could ever put together.

And that is so powerful!

DAVID: I don't think anyone
will ever forget seeing you dance,

because it's going to be imprinted
on their heart.

This is the biggest stage,
I've performed on.

I'm really hoping
to impress the judges.

I guess I'm just singing this
to my family.

So, yeah, it's for them.

(SUSTAINS NOTE)

SHANE: Can I still juggle?

You can do it... No, I can't.

(LAUGHS)

Hi, baby. Hi, you alright?

Aw, come and say 'Hi' to everyone.

Hi!

You know, I'm so proud of you?

BOTH: Thank you, Dad.

I'm so proud of you
either way, yeah?

You like Australia?

Yeah.

That's the right answer.

Leave me alone.
(LAUGHS)

Don't mess up my hair.

No, I know.

So proud of you.

Yeah, smash it!

Smash it, woo!

Does Mummy have a buzzer at home?

Is that how she gets you to do
the things she wants you to do?

It's kind of broken, Mum.

Yes, I pressed it so much.

(LAUGHTER)

You're made for, Sienna,
you are made for this.

Nerves are good, yeah?
Nerves are good.

# Everybody's looking
for something. #

My name is Sienna Katelyn,
I'm 11 years old,

and I'm going to be singing today.

Can you believe you're finally here?

I know, it's so surreal.

But I'm really excited to see David.

Me and my dad started singing
when I was about... A little baby.

But, like, I really started
getting serious about it

when I was about seven years old.

My name is Sienna.

Today, I'll be singing, 'Kumbaya'.
And, let's get started.

(SINGING) # Kumbaya my Lord,
kumbaya. #

When I was young, I was really shy,
and I wasn't really that confident.

I would go to my room,

and I would, like,
record myself singing.

(SINGING)

We'd ask if she'd actually
sing in front of us,

and she was so shy
and she'd totally refuse to do it.

So, we got her to a stage
where'd she face the wall and sing.

I'm so nervous.

You don't need...
Nerves are good.

So, we'd start to pay her. (LAUGHS)

You know, just to her to face
the right way and sing.

RICKI-LEE: You sung it so many times
you know what you're doing.

You just have to focus.

(SIGHS)

You feel nervous at all,
at any point, you've got...

You'll have your dad on stage
with you,

and you can just look at him.

You know he's got he.

And you can look over at us,
and you look me deep in the eyes,

and I'll send you all of my love.

OK?

SIENNA: This is the biggest stage
I've performed on.

I'm really hoping
to impress the judges.

Good luck.
You're going to be amazing.

(AUDIENCE CHEERING)

Do I walk on?

Yeah, away you go.

(AUDIENCE CHEERING)

ALESHA: Hello, darling.

Hi.

What's your name?

My name is Sienna Katelyn.

Sienna Katelyn . That's lovely.
My daughter's middle name's Sienna.

I love that name.
How old are you?

I'm 11.

So, what's brought you
to "Australia's Got Talent" today?

Well, I really just wanted
to share my voice with the world,

and to make everybody happy.

So, who do you look up to?
Who inspires you?

Um, my family,

and my parents.

And have you brought any of them
with you today?

Yeah, my family, my mum,
my sister, and my dad...

He's actually going to be
accompanying me tonight.

Your dad's going to be joining you?
Yeah.

(AUDIENCE CHEERING)
Hi, Dad.

SHANE: Hey.
Hi, everyone.

How long have you guys
been performing together?

I thought you were going to say,

"How long have you guys known
each other?"

(LAUGHTER)

Um, probably four, five years now.

And is this the biggest stage

that both of you
have performed on together?

Most definitely.
Yes, most definitely.

And what do you do normally?

I've got a boring day job
but I love to play music.

What's your boring day job?

Oh, I work in superannuation.

God, that is boring!

(LAUGHTER)

So, what would it mean to you both
to win this show?

I think for Sienna,

it's going to be a huge boost
to her career.

She wants to be a popstar.

You don't want her to go
into superannuation?

(LAUGHTER)

Definitely not.
OK.

Well, we really hope this audition
goes well for you guys.

What is the song,
and why did you choose it?

This song is, "If I Ain't Got You"
by Alicia Keys.

Um, I guess I'm just singing this
to my family,

because of the words,
"If I Ain't Got You".

So, yeah, it's for them.

Well, look, take a deep breath,

enjoy this moment,

we're on your side.

$90,000 in prize money,
10,000 in super.

Stop it, Shane.

(LAUGHTER)

Good luck. Go for it.

Thank you.

(AUDIENCE CHEERING)

# Some people live for the fortune

# Some people live just for the fame

# Some people live
for the power, yeah

# Some people live
just to play the game

# And some people want it all

# But I don't want nothing at all

# If it ain't you, baby

# If I ain't got you, baby

# Some people want diamond rings

# But some just want everything

# But everything means nothing

# If I ain't got you, yeah

# Some people want it all

(SUSTAINS NOTE)

# If it ain't you, baby

# If I ain't you, baby

# Some people want diamond rings

# But some just want everything

# But everything means nothing

# If I ain't got

# You. #

(AUDIENCE CHEERING)

(AUDIENCE CONTINUES CHEERING)

(AUDIENCE CHEERING CONTINUES)

(SNIFFING)

ALESHA: Oh, my goodness me.

David, what did you think?

Well, I hope they're happy tears.

Are they happy tears?
Yes.

They should be happy tears

'cause that couldn't have gone
any better.

It was amazing.

You have a really beautiful voice,

and you know, when you took
the mic out of the stand

and sorted of strutted around,
you really were like a popstar.

Thank you so much.

I adored it, I adored you,

and I can't wait to see
what you're going to do next.

I just want to say it means a lot
coming from you, David Walliams.

I read all your books.

You're the only author
I really read.

Well... let's not talk about me
any longer.

(LAUGHTER)

Kate, what did you think?

Sienna, that was incredible.

It was beautiful.

I hope you are proud of yourself.

Well done, girlfriend.

It was great. Yeah.
Thank you so much.

(AUDIENCE CHEERING)

SHANE: Sienna, you know you are made
to do this, yeah?

I know your dream
is to be a popstar,

but you know I reckon you could be?

Just be you, 'cause that's going
to be more than enough.

You be Sienna
and see where it takes you.

Well done, it's beautiful.
(AUDIENCE CHEERING)

Thank you so much.

I cannot believe the maturity
in your voice.

For such a little angel,
honestly, it was beautiful.

I loved it, very much.

I loved you, and I'm proud
to give you your first, 'Yes'.

(CHEERING)
Thank you.

Thank you.

You've got two yeses, Sienna.

Kate?

Three yeses.
David?

Well, it's not just us,
I think it's the audience too.

So, you've got 1,004 yeses.

(CHEERING)
RICKI-LEE: Yeah!

('ROAR' BY KATY PERRY PLAYING)

Thank you so much.

(AUDIENCE CHEERING CONTINUES)

You did it! You did it!

I wondered if Ricki
was going to golden buzzer her?

Oh, yeah.

RICKI-LEE: You were amazing.

Congratulations, you deserve it.
Thank you.

('GROOVE IS IN THE HEART'
BY DEEE-LITE PLAYING)

My name's Allan Reinikka, I'm 61,
videographer from Rockhampton.

I used to have a passion
for racing rally cars

and motorsport
and that sort of thing.

But I finally found
this new passion,

which I'll be performing
for you tonight.

My act's fairly physical.

Requires a little bit of balance

and a lot of determination.

How old are you?
Sixty-one.

Sixty-one, and... Yeah.

Keep going.
Still going.

Yeah, keep going.

Starting something new
a bit later in life, like 50,

has its challenges,

the body doesn't recover
quite as quick as it used to.

You certainly know
you're doing new things.

I've vamped up the training
for tonight's performance,

and the body's a little more
battered and bruised than normal.

I just want to show people
that it doesn't matter

how old you are,
what you look like,

if your male or female,

get out and have a go,

you'll surprise yourself
and everybody else

just what you can do.

(CHEERING)

ALESHA: I think this could be
for you, this next one.

KATE: What is that?

It's pole dancing.

KATE: Oh, is it, Shane?

This act alone
could be the main reason

you flew all the way to Australia.

SHANE: A pole dancer won AGT
the last time we did it.

Really?

# My darling, I... #

(AUDIENCE CHEERING)

# Can't get enough
of your love, babe

# Girl, I don't know why,
I don't know why

# Can't get enough
of your love, babe. #

I have so many questions.

(AUDIENCE LAUGHING)

Now, uh, what is your name?

Where are you from,
what's the name of that planet,

and how old are you?

My name's Allan Reinikka,
I'm from Rock Hampton,

and I'm 61.

(AUDIENCE CHEERING)

So, I'm going to be honest,
and say, um...

you kind of weren't
what I was expecting when I saw...

(LAUGHS)
..um, the pole out the back.

Are you going to snap that pole
in two,

or are you going to dance on it?

Bit of both.

(LAUGHTER)

I'll make it bend a little.

Yeah. How long have you been
doing this?

Um, about ten years or so.

Mate, I should let you do
what you've come here to do, mate.

Good luck.

OK. Thanks a lot.

(AUDIENCE CHEERING)

('THE BOYS LIGHT UP'
BY AUSTRALIAN CRAWL PLAYING)

(AUDIENCE CHEERING)

Wow!

(AUDIENCE CHEERING CONTINUES)

SHANE: Yeah!

# Let me tell you about
my mountain home

# Where all the ladies names
are Joan... #

(AUDIENCE CHEERING INTENSIFIES)

# Where husband works back late
at night

# Hopes are up for trousers down

# With hostess on a business flight

# Taxi in a Mercedes drive... #

(AUDIENCE GASPING)

# I hope that driver's coming
out alive... #

(INDISTINCT CHATTER)

That's good.

# What a performance

# What a cheap tent show

# Oh, no, no, no, no, no

# Then the boys light up

# Then the boys light up

# Then the boys light up

# Then the boys light up. #

(THUNDEROUS APPLAUSE)

Oh, that has brought me,
and Australia, so much joy.

You know, mate, one of the things
I hate about the planet, sometimes,

is preconceived ideas.

I tap danced at school,
and I got teased for it.

And it's all about doing something

that other people, apparently,
think you shouldn't do.

But that, of course,

is the most ridiculous concept
on Earth.

Do you enjoy doing
that for an audience,

because you must know,
people don't expect this from you.

Yeah, it's always fun
to watch their reaction.

(LAUGHTER)

I haven't seen you this
excited over an act.

I mean, come on.

It was very impressive.

You have incredible
upper body strength.

Yeah.

And, this is not something
you see every day.

People have preconceived ideas,

and you just throw all that
out the window.

Good for you. Well done.
Thanks.

(AUDIENCE CHEERING)

SHANE: Kate, what did you think
of that?

Allan, I think you're great.

I want to come and see a show,
and have you tell me a few yarns.

You've delighted the crowd,
you've delighted the four of us.

Thank you so much
for coming along tonight,

bringing that pole with you.

(LAUGHTER)
Thank you.

SHANE: David?

Allan, that was highly erotic.

(LAUGHTER)

Um, it's wonderful.

It's wonderful to see someone
with a passion.

And it is very entertaining
to watch,

because you are actually
brilliant at it.

Where do you start
if you want to do that?

Because I'd quite like
to get a pole at home

and sort of follow
in your footsteps.

ALLAN: Start with really
basic spins,

and work your way up.

Can you show me
how to do a couple?

ALLAN: Ah... (CHUCKLES)

(AUDIENCE CHEERING)

I have to take this off, yeah.

AUDIENCE (CHANTING): Take it off!
Take it off! Take it off!

Take it off!

(AUDIENCE CHEERING)

David!

ALESHA: Your pants coordinate.
(LAUGHS)

Can we have some music please?

('THE BOYS LIGHT UP'
BY AUSTRALIAN CRAWL PLAYING)

(AUDIENCE LAUGHING AND CHEERING)

(LAUGHS)

(AUDIENCE CHEERING
AND LAUGHTER CONTINUES)

Thank you very much.

Thank you. Thank you.

(AUDIENCE CHEERING)

# Then boys light up. #

(BUZZER)

(AUDIENCE LAUGHS)

See, Allan, you just made the world
a better place.

(AUDIENCE CHEERING)

That's a good thing.

That is not the way
a head judge conducts himself.

(LAUGHTER AND CHEERING)

You know, there's no need
to mess around.

We just have to go
to this vote, that--.

Oh, we haven't even voted, have we?
We have not.

Allan, it's a 'Yes' from me.

(AUDIENCE CHEERING)

It's a 'Yes' from me.

It's a 'Yes' from me.

Allan, next time,

I want it to be a duo,
the two of us,

up there on that post.

You're on!

It's a 'Yes' from me.

(AUDIENCE CHEERING)

DAVID: I need to have my mic pack
put back on

and I think someone needs
to find my balls,

because they've gone up
inside my body.

(JUDGES LAUGHING)

Wow! There's a lot of people
out there.

(CHOIR SINGING) # Let it be,
oh, let it be... #

We can see how much it means
to all of you,

and that is so powerful.

(AUDIENCE CHEERING)

(ENGINE REVVING)
Oh!

(CHEERING)

(MANIACAL LAUGHTER)

(BUZZER)

ELLIOT: I grew up as an only child,

so I was pretty weird
straight out the gate.

(AUDIENCE LAUGHING)

DAVID: I don't think anyone
will ever forget seeing you dance.

Your clothes have seemed
to have fallen off.

(LAUGHTER AND CHEERING)

There's something
strangely erotic about it.

Well, nothing "strangely".
It was just erotic.

# Loving you

# Is easy 'cause you're beautiful

# Making love with you

# Is all I want to do. #

I love you so much.
I love you too.

Come on, hurry, hurry.
We have to go to the show.

No rush, baby, no rush.

Good luck.
Good luck, babe.

(LAUGHS) Yeah, we'll smash it.
Yeah.

Ready? Yeah?
SVEN: Yeah.

(AUDIENCE CHEERING)
Alright, enjoy.

Good luck.

('LOVING YOU' BY MINNIE RIPERTON
CONTINUES PLAYING)

Hello.

Hello.
Hello.

What are your names?

My name's Sven.

And you're name is? (LAUGHS)

Should we start again?
(BOTH LAUGHING)

JAN: We are Sven and Jan,

the roller-skating couple
from Germany.

SVEN: I saw this great woman.

I thought, "She's mine".

(LAUGHS)

I was running behind her,
so I got her.

OK, ready?

Ready.
OK, let's go.

# Xanadu

(CHIMES)

# Xanadu... #

He still makes me laugh
after 20 years.

He drives me nuts
more than once a day.

(LAUGHS)

Your shoulder.
Stop, stop.

Your hair was like this.

Yeah, stop touching my hair.

Many people say that our act,

you can see that we have
a really good relationship,

that there's something between us.

SVEN: It's a mix of,
I think, sexy and...

Danger.
..danger.

And breathless.
Breathtaking.

Yeah. Breathless,
breathtaking. Yeah.

Breathtaking.
Sorry.

Um, your clothes seemed
to have fallen off, but um...

(LAUGHTER)

Sven and Jan.

I wish you all the best
with your audition.

Thank you.

OK.

(AUDIENCE CHEERING)

They're just lubricating up
before they start.

(AUDIENCE LAUGHING AND WHISTLING)

Why not?

(AUDIENCE LAUGHING)

Nice and tight, those trousers.

(AUDIENCE LAUGHING)

('NETHERWORLD'
BY FUTURE POP PLAYING)

(AUDIENCE CHEERING)

(AUDIENCE CHEERING)

(AUDIENCE CHEERING)

(AUDIENCE CHEERING CONTINUES)

('NETHERWORLD' BY FUTURE POP
CONTINUES PLAYING)

(AUDIENCE CHEERING)

(AUDIENCE CHEERING AND GASPING)

(CHEERING CONTINUES)

(CHEERING CONTINUES)

(APPLAUSE AND CHEERING FADES)

(AUDIENCE CHEERING INTENSIFIES)

(THUNDEROUS APPLAUSE)

Well...

if that it was you get up to
in your act...

(AUDIENCE LAUGHS)

..I shudder to think
what you get up to

in the privacy of your own home.

It was thrilling
for the entirety of the act,

and one of those real wow moments
on 'Got Talent'.

What does the rest
of the panel think?

You, sort of, seemed less convinced.

I thought you were having
a sort of sit-down protest.

No, no, no, no. No, I didn't.

Because I really enjoyed it,

there was something strangely erotic
about it.

Well, nothing "Strangely".
It was just erotic.

I think I didn't stand,

because my mind was full
of these questions, I guess.

I was watching you
and I was thinking...

"Can they do it naked?"

(LAUGHTER)

"Are they swingers?"

You know, all kinds of questions.

(LAUGHTER)

Well, let me explain,

it's basically, '50 Shades
of Roller-skating', isn't it?

(LAUGHTER)

Thank you.

Thank you.

That was fantastic.

Well done.
Thank you.

Thank you so much.

(AUDIENCE CHEERING)

I thought it was fantastic.

I can't pick a fault with it.
That was entertainment. Solid.

(AUDIENCE CHEERING)

Thank you so much.
Thank you.

Thank you.

Well...

(AUDIENCE CHEERING)

We've had a bit of fun,

but it's now the moment of truth,
because we have to vote.

Alright.
WOMAN IN AUDIENCE: Golden buzzer!

Well, just wait.

(AUDIENCE LAUGHING)

Sven and Jan...

I am giving you a big, hard 'Yes'.

(AUDIENCE CHEERING)

Thank you so much.
Thank you.

(AUDIENCE CHEERING)

It's a 'Yes' from me.

It's a 'Yes' from me.

Thank you.

Well, you just got four yeses.
We'll see you soon.

Thank you so much.
Thank you very much.

(AUDIENCE CHEERING)

# Round, round, round

# You spin me right 'round, baby,
right 'round... #

RICKI-LEE: You were amazing.
Thank you.

Well, they seemed nice enough.

Didn't they?
(LAUGHTER)

GAIL: Chris O'Brien Lifehouse
is the legacy of my late husband,

Professor Chris O'Brien.

In our hospital,

we have all aspects
of cancer treatment and care,

chemotherapy, surgery,
radiotherapy,

but it's important to look after
the whole person.

Cancer care has to be holistic,

and so, the choir is part
of that holistic healing.

HARRY: My self and Kat,

we're both music therapists
at Chris O'Brien Lifehouse.

We run the choir
along with our choir master, Robert.

(CHATTER AND LAUGHTER)

(CHEERING)

Our choir gets together
every Thursday.

You can hear us
in the ground foyer singing.

# Tonight you're singing
with the choir

# Now, you're dancing with the crew

# You ain't doing this solo... #

CHOIR: Woo!

# We all ridin' with you... #

I'm on the edge.

I'm likely to cry today.

KAT: The wonderful thing
about the choir

is that anybody can be a part of it.

Sometimes it's inpatients

that are up in the wards
of the hospital

that wish, perhaps, to escape
their room for an hour

and do something that will bring
a bit of joy.

Staff on their lunchbreaks.

(LAUGHTER)

It's just a beautiful group
of people

that have come together
to find joy and love in music.

(AUDIENCE APPLAUDING)

Good luck, ladies. Enjoy.

Wow, there's a lot
of people out there.

Hello, welcome
to "Australia's Got Talent"".

Thank you.

What do we have here today?

Well, I'm here representing
this unique choir

and this unique hospital.

The hospital
is the Chris O'Brien Lifehouse.

My husband was Chris O'Brien.

He was a surgeon,
he was visionary

who wanted to create
a centre of excellence

for cancer patients in Australia.

(AUDIENCE CHEERING)

(LAUGHS)

Tragically, he was diagnosed
with brain cancer himself.

He died 2.5 years later.

So, he never saw it open
in this hospital.

We have a choir full of people
who are grieving,

and the message
that we want to bring

is, suffering changes you,

suffering brings out
the best in you.

We're not defeated,

and I think that we'll show
you that today.

(AUDIENCE CHEERING)

Would you like to introduce us
to the ladies standing beside you?

Um, beside me is Adele,
and this is her mum, Lorraine.

I'm Lorraine's daughter,
and I sing with my mum in the choir.

And the choir is fantastic for mum,
I'm so proud of her being in it,

and I love singing next to her
as well.

# On we march

# With a midnight song

# We will light our way... #

LORRAINE: Because of the cancer
that I have,

we haven't got a long time.

It's already taken,
and will take so much away.

(SOBS SOFTLY) So...

It's about...
It's about letting it go...

and just being,
and everything will be alright.

# It's been calling out to me

# That is where I should be... #.

Our choir...

is made up
of the most beautiful people

you could ever put together.

And if we can't sing,

because of the treatment
that we're having,

they'll sing for us.

Just two weeks ago,
a woman came in with her bag...

and she was about to have surgery.

And she said,
"Oh, I just had to stop,

I love this song!"

And we were able...
She sang with us,

and we were able to send her off
with just all our love,

and support, and care.

We know what's happening
on the wards.

Letting people know
they're not alone.

That we're with them.

(APPLAUSE)

KATE: Well, I hope you can feel
the warmth and the love already,

coming from this audience.

We are looking forward
to this performance, so much.

Enjoy it.

(AUDIENCE APPLAUDING)

(ORCHESTRA PLAYING 'LET IT BE'
BY THE BEATLES PLAYING)

# When I find myself
in times of trouble

# Mother Mary comes to me

# Speaking words of wisdom

# Let it be

# And in my hour of darkness,
she is standing right in front of me

# Speaking words of wisdom

# Let it be

# Let it be, let it be, let it be

# Oh, let it be

# Whisper words of wisdom

# Let it be

# And when the night is cloudy

# There is still a light
that shines on me

# Shine until tomorrow

# Let it be

# Let it be, let it be, let it be

# Oh, let it be

# Speaking words of wisdom

# Let it be

# Let it be, let it be... #
(EVERYONE CLAPPING IN RHYTHM)

# Let it be

# Oh, let it be

# There will be an answer

# Let it be

# Let it be. #

(THUNDEROUS APPLAUSE)

Wow.

Um, well thank you so much

for such a beautiful performance.

It was so nice
to see you all united,

up there, and filling the room
with joy,

even though we know
that there are hardships

behind all of this.

(AUDIENCE CHEERING)

It was beautiful.

(CHUCKLES)

What do you think, Alesha?

Oh my goodness. Where do I even
begin with you guys?

I admire you all so much,
I was deeply moved by your singing.

There is so much healing
within it,

and for me, this is more
than an act.

You know, this is a movement,
you're a family.

You know, under these circumstances,

to lift the spirit of the room
and each other,

we can see how much it means
to all of you.

And that is so powerful.

I loved it. Wonderful.

(AUDIENCE APPLAUDING)

As we know,

we have to leave it up
to the scientists, and the doctors,

and the surgeons
to cure illnesses.

But, the only we've always known

is it just takes a kind word
from a loved one,

or a beautiful song like that
to cure a broken heart

and to, kind of, mend a frown.

And so, you did that wonderfully.

So, thank you so much.
It was beautiful.

(AUDIENCE CHEERING)

Well, you know, all of us,
at some point in our lives,

are affected by this disease.

And, you know, this amazing choir

is something that anybody
facing this

would love to be part of,

because it's all about
helping each other,

being there for each other,

and offering this
very optimistic message,

which is fantastic.

It was really, really moving.
Really, really beautiful.

And it's a great pleasure
to give you your first 'Yes'.

(AUDIENCE CHEERING)

And it's a 'Yes' from me.

You're just amazing,
and it's a 'Yes' from me.

(AUDIENCE APPLAUDING)

You've got four yeses.

(AUDIENCE APPLAUDING)

('YOU SAY' BY LAUREN DAIGLE PLAYING)

CHOIR MEMBERS: Woo!

I just realised,

there was one 'Yes'
you were missing.

One, two three...

AUDIENCE: Yes!

(CHEERING)

# And when I don't belong

# Oh, you say I am Yours

# And I believe

# Oh, I believe

# What you say of me

# I believe. #

Ooh! (LAUGHS)

Best sound in the world.

PAT: Do I continue down this path

of the thing that, essentially,
killed my dad?

I'm going to be flying
about 12, 13 metres in the air.

JOHN: Where you doing to dance from?

In my body and my hands.

DAVID: I don't think anyone
will ever forget seeing you dance.

It's going to be imprinted
on their hearts.

The stage is yours.
Two minutes to change your life.

(SINGING) # Change my life
and all my goals. #

(BUZZER)

# Yo, my name is Slim Shady. #

I'm Al Pacino.

What's going on, guys?
It's Dave Hughes.

(BUZZERS)

I don't know what to say.

What?
Did not expect that at all.

Did not expect that at all. No.

(AUDIENCE CHEERING)

Hello.

Something's not right.

(AUDIENCE CHATTERING)

Argh! That's the back screen!

Hello.

Um, so what's your name.

My name is Dylan Todd.

I do impersonations.

# Things that make you go hmmm... #

The stage is yours.
Two minutes to change your life.

(MANIACAL LAUGHTER)

(BUZZER)

(AS EMINEM) Yo, my name
is Slim Shady.

(BUZZER)

You better watch out
because I know how to rap.

(BUZZER)

AUDIENCE: Aww.

You know, it was bad,

but entertaining,
all at the same time.

# Things that make you go hmmm

# Things that make you
go hmmm... #

I'm Travis Cole, 37 years old,
and I'm a teacher from Melbourne.

I discovered
I could do impersonations

from singing, you know,
in the shower.

(AS ELVIS PRESLEY) # Wise men say

# Only fools rush in. #
(BUZZER)

(AS JAMES BLUNT)
# You touch my heart

# You touch my soul

# You change my life
and all my goals. #

# Shared your dreams
and shared your bed... #

(BUZZER)

(BUZZER)

(AS JOE COCKER)
# Unchain my heart. #

(BUZZER)

(LAUGHTER)

# Things that make you go hmmmm... #

I'd be worried
for your students.

(LAUGHTER)

Was your objective
just to find the world's worst songs

that made no sense
to anyone on the panel?

Thank you every body!

(CHEERING)

Hey, my name's David.

I'm 35, I'm from the central coast

and I will be doing
impressions today.

Nicolas Cage.

(AS NIC CAGE) Hi, I'm Nic Cage.

(BUZZER)

We've got lights,
we've got camera.

(BUZZER)
We've got bitching technology!

(LAUGHTER)

(NORMAL VOICE) Last but not least,
Al Pacino.

(AS AL PACINO) I'm Al Pacino.

(BUZZER)

And uh...

As I look round at the audience,
there was this collective...

Today wasn't the day for you.
I'm sorry, it's a 'No' from me.

(AUDIENCE CHEERING)

I thought when he said,
"I'm Al Pacino".

No, you're not.

# Things that make you go, hmmmm. #

My name is Elliot Loney.

I'm a comedian and a tennis couch

and I'm from Melbourne,
Victoria, Australia.

("HOWLIN' FOR YOU"
BY THE BLACK KEYS PLAYING)

I grew up as an only child,

so I was pretty weird
straight up the gate, mate.

(AS PETER GRIFFIN) Hi, Quagmire.

(LAUGHS AS PETER)

So, I do like
a lot of impersonations

of schools teachers, and friends,
and stuff growing up.

I was the class clown at school.

It's just a way for me
to break the ice.

There were a few years there
where I was a little bit lost.

I worked as a personal trainer
for a year,

I studied media,

I was even a male stripper
for a brief period there.

Retired, hung up the G-string, um...

(LAUGHS)

I'm going to do some impersonations
and some stand-up comedy.

Stepping on stage for the first time
on this show...

literally terrifies me.

(BUZZER)

AUDIENCE: Aww!

I hate being judged,

and I've literally got four judges
right in front of my nose.

So, it's very scary.

Have you performed
for a crowd like this before?

I have. I have once before.
OK.

And it didn't go down so well,

so hopefully this is going...

OK, OK, OK, OK.
..to go better.

(AUDIENCE CHEERING)

That's for you.
Oh, that's me.

Thanks, Ricki.
Have fun.

Yeah.

("HOWLIN' FOR YOU"
BY THE BLACK KEYS CONTINUES PLAYING)

(AUDIENCE CHEERING)

Hello, and who do we have here?

G'day, guys.
My name is Elliot Loney.

I'm from Melbourne,
Victoria, Australia.

What are you going to be doing
for us here today?

Ah, well, I do stand up comedy
and impersonations.

So, today, I'm going to be doing
a combination of both.

Alright. Well, let's see.

Alright, no worries.

(AUDIENCE CHEERING)

(AUDIENCE CHUCKLING)

(AS DAVE HUGHES)
What's going on, guys?

It's Dave Hughes.

(AUDIENCE LAUGHING AND CHEERING)

And I used to host this show
and Ricki-Lee stole my job.

(LAUGHS)

Ricki-Lee, two first names,
bit greedy.

Did you steal one of those as well?

(LAUGHTER)

I'm angry.

I thought I was this show's
trump card.

(AS DONALD TRUMP)
Did someone say my name?

I can't stay long,

because Melania's double parked
in a disabled spot out front,

but I will say this...

I'm in Australia,

they're actually making a movie
about my life,

and one of your local celebrities
is set to play me.

I've never heard of him,
perhaps you've heard of him...

Clive Palmer?

(LAUGHTER)

But my first preference
would have been Matthew McConaughey.

(AUDIENCE CHEERING)

(WHISTLING THROUGH TEETH)

(AS MATTHEW MCCONAUGHEY) Sir.

Ladies and gentlemen,
thank you, Mr Presidente.

My name is Matthew McConaughey.

And at this point, I'm looking
for four yeses from the judges.

But I'd settle for an 'Alright',
'Alright', 'Alright', 'Alright'.

(LAUGHTER)

He's good.

In these days of enlightenment,

I would never take my shirt off
without the permission of the crowd.

(LAUGHTER AND CHEERING)

Moments of goodness like this,

I turn to my faithful mentor,
Mr Morgan Freeman.

(AS MORGAN FREEMAN)
Oh, Mr McConaughey.

(LAUGHTER)

Overexposing yourself again.

Now, over-exposure
is not always a bad thing.

Just ask Shane Jacobson.

I mean, really,

is there any Australian show
that he has not been in?

He does everything!

If the entertainment industry
is survival of the fittest,

then what in God's name
is Shane doing here?

(LAUGHTER)

(AS DAVID ATTENBOROUGH) I believe
David Attenborough can answer that.

(AUDIENCE LAUGHING)

"The Australia's Got Talent"
judging panel

is a microcosm of humanity.

(LAUGHTER)

Kate Ritchie, comfortable
in her environment, home or away.

(LAUGHTER)

And who can avert their gaze
from the exquisite beauty

of rare British songbird,
Alesha Dixon?

So, much beauty
in such a confined space.

(LAUGHTER)

Then there's David Walliams -
incredibly talented...

by UK standards, of course.

(LAUGHTER)

Finally, Shane Jacobson...
Uh-oh.

..the big alpha grizzly bear
of entertainment,

who started his career
as the lovable Kenny,

who dare I say, was definitely,
in the shit...

but is now flushed with success.

(LAUGHTER AND CHEERING)

Isn't that right, Rafael Nadal?

(LAUGHTER)

(AS RAFAEL NADAL) Yeah,
thank you, David.

Yeah, this is good.

Rafa very happy
that you are still alive.

(LAUGHTER)

Rafa has had his vaccinations.

(AUDIENCE APPLAUDING)

Good to see the judges
have had their injections...

mostly for the Botox, but...

You laugh, but your faces,
they do not move.

(LAUGHTER)

Who your guy?

Because Rafa needs big injections
directly into the face.

Maybe he end up
on 'The Masked Singer',

with your famous
dole-bludging idiot,

the Hughesy, the David Hughesy!

(AS DAVE HUGHES)
That was a long time ago, Rafa.

I'm rich now.

I'm the Elon Musk
of Warrnambool.

I don't even want to be here.

Hughesy says "No".

Good night.

(AUDIENCE APPLAUDING)

Elliot, that was fantastic.

There was not one moment
where I felt cringy,

or that I wanted it to end.

Every character was spot on.

From the voices,
to the way you were moving,

it was just really,
really good fun.

So, thank you.
Thank you so much.

Thank you so much, Kate.
Appreciate that.

(AUDIENCE CHEERING)

Mate, I'll be honest,

there's one thing that happens
when I hear impersonations,

and that is a voice inside my head
that goes, "Oh, god".

Because so often,
people are bad at them.

But that's no what you just did.

So, for someone who is doing comedy
and impersonations,

I've not seen anyone
do that better, so well done.

Thanks so much, mate.

Really appreciate that.
Thank you. Thank you.

Yeah, it had great flow,
you're just a natural up there.

I felt like I wasn't judging you.

I was just sitting here,
enjoying the show,

you were a bit cheeky.

And I actually do think
comedians can do well.

I mean, we just had a comedian win
"Britain's Got Talent".

Well done.

Thank you, Alesha. Thank you.
Appreciate that. It's very kind.

DAVID: Yeah, you were great.

I mean, that way
you really stand out

as an impressionist,

is if you do people
that other people don't do.

So, tick for that.

If your material is super strong,
tick for that.

If your impressions
have their own flavour,

like, it's you meeting the person,
you did that too.

So, I thought it was incredible.

Really, really funny.

(AUDIENCE CHEERING)

So, let me kick this off
with a 'Yes'.

Thank you. Thank you, David.
Appreciate that.

And it's a 'Yes'
from me too, Elliot.

I'm saying 'Yes'!

Alright.

You just got four yeses.

(CHEERING)
Thank you so much.

Appreciate that.

(AUDIENCE APPLAUDING)

Thanks.

Wow, that's amazing.
I don't know what to say.

Did not expect that at all.

Four yeses.
Yeah, did not expect that at all.

You didn't expect it? Why?

I don't know. It's just crazy.

How good was his Hughesy?

AUDIENCE: Yeah.
Yeah.

MAN (OVER RADIO): Guys, the wind
is up.

It's not looking good,
we need to go now.

(RADIO STATIC)

Hello, alright.

Here he is. You ready?
I'm more than ready.

Who do you have here with you?

This is my aunty, Aunty Gail...
Hello.

Hi.
..come here to support me.

How you feeling?
Good, how are you?

Alright? I'm good. I'm excited.

Are you excited?
Yeah.

PAT: My name is Pat Bowden,
I'm 28 years old,

I'm from the Gold Coast,

and I'm a freestyle
motocross rider.

Been riding
since I was three years old.

I have this vivid memory
of just screaming at my dad.

I remember looking up at him,
like, "I want a dirt bike, now!"

But I had just had this feeling
inside of me

that I have a mission to do
in this life,

and that's just to do dirt bike.

Good luck.
Thank you.

Be safe.
I'll try.

On you go.

(BIKE REVVING)

(RICKI-LEE SCREAMING)

(AUDIENCE APPLAUDING)

Oh!

(AUDIENCE CHEERING)

Now, that's an entrance. Hey, mate.

What's up, guys?

(AUDIENCE CHEERING)

Hey, mate, what's your name,
where are you from?

My name's Pat Bowden,
I'm from the Gold Coast.

Yes, you are.

(AUDIENCE CHEERING)
Thank you.

Mate, what are you going to do
for us tonight?

Yeah, so, tonight,
what I want to show you guys,

I'm going to introduce you my sport,
freestyle motocross.

It's a very dangerous sport.

But, (INHALES SHARPLY),

I feel like I'm very prepared
for this, so, I'm excited.

(AUDIENCE APPLAUDING)

What is the dream?

I was born with this dream.

Honestly, I asked my dad
for a dirt bike

when I was 2.5 years old.

He told me he would buy it for me

when my feet could
touch the foot pegs.

Not the ground, but the foot pegs.

So, I'm a tiny little kid,

I don't even know how a kid that old
knows what a dirt bike is, so...

Does your dad do this kind of stuff?

Is your dad a freestyle motocross
rider or a rider?

(EXHALES)
(SAD MUSIC PLAYING)

My dad, he was definitely
an integral part

of my success
with freestyle motocross.

He was my mentor
from a very young age.

Unfortunately, lost him
in a motorcycle accident in 2016,

on the eve of my first,
big, international event

that I was invited to.

So, I come to this fork in the road
in my career...

Do I continue down this path

of the thing that,
essentially, killed my dad?

Or do I go it alone
and just continue,

'cause that's all I know.

I've had to learn to do it alone.

I'm making him proud along the way,
so that's all that matters.

It's been a long road.

Very steep learning curve,
a lot of injuries,

I've broken a few bones
along the way.

This wrist injury right here

is probably the most significant
injury of my career,

up until this point.

MAN: These ligaments that run...

I complete dislocated it,
snapped it out of the socket.

There's no bones in my wrist,
it's all fake.

Fake ligaments and everything.

As a freestyle motocross athlete,

today, I'm going to be showcasing
my sport at the highest level.

I'm really excited for it
and I think it's going to be huge.

What are you looking at here?
How dangerous are we talking?

Well, had my fair share of injuries,

but it's a very steep
learning curve.

When you're lying in a hospital bed
for a few weeks,

then on the couch
for almost two years,

yeah, you really have to think
about, "What did I do wrong?"

And then the next time
you go out and ride,

you definitely don't want
to do that again.

But, I'm a freestyle king.

That's what we do,
we're going to send it.

(AUDIENCE CHEERING)

You're saying "ramp and jump".
Where are you doing this?

I'll presume it's not here
on the stage.

I've got this crazy set up
out the back. You should see it.

We'll go out there in a second,
but I'm going to ride of stage,

go and do my thing outside,

and, um, if it all goes well,

hopefully you'll see me back here
in a few minutes.

And hopefully you guys like it.

Well, mate, start your engine.

(ENGINE REVVING)

(AUDIENCE CHEERING)

Yeah!

(AUDIENCE APPLAUDING)

Can I go?

Oh, no. See ya. Bye.

RICKI-LEE: Wow! Wow, oh, oh, oh, oh!

Hello.
Hello. How are you?

OK, this looks fun.

Are you OK, how you feeling?

I'm fine, I'm ready.

It's a bit windy, to be honest,
the conditions aren't perfect.

OK, can you tell me
what you're going to be doing?

Ah, what we've got here
is a freestyle motocross setup,

it's 23 metres.

Sorry to interrupt.
Oh, Shane!

Sorry, I had to be out here.

I had to come out and watch you
do it in person.

Couldn't have you ride off on me.
Sorry, as you were.

Yeah, so we've a 23-metre jump here.

I'm going to be flying
about 12, 13 metres in the air.

I'm going to do three
of my biggest tricks.

So, I'm going to do three jumps.

These tricks are probably
on this specific jump,

the most difficult tricks
in the sport.

(SIGHS) Yeah.

I mean, this
is 'Australia's Got Talent'.

It's the biggest stage
on the planet,

and it's all yours.

Let's go.

Alright. (SCREAMS)
(ENGINE STARTS)

Best sound in the world.

(SUSPENSE MUSIC PLAYING)

(AUDIENCE CHEERING)

Oh my god.

I'm sure when this is over,

you are going to breathe
the biggest sigh of relief.

(SUSPENSE MUSIC CONTINUES)

SHANE: Oh, yes!

(CHEERING)

Oh!
That is insane!

That's fantastic.

(AUDIENCE APPLAUDING)

There's not much of a run up.

KATE: No.

One last one to do.

(SUSPENSE MUSIC PLAYING)

(AUDIENCE CHEERING)

WOW!

(ENGINE REVVING)

(SCREAMS)

Oh, my goodness.

That was amazing!

Should we go in there?

Alright, let's go.
Alright, let's go.

Come on in.

I'll be back, I'll be back.

(THUNDEROUS APPLAUSE)

(TRIUMPHANT MUSIC PLAYING)

Pat... Pat that was...

That was unbelievable.

That was such a thrill,
that was really difficult.

It was really windy out there.

But, I made it, I'm safe,
that's good.

(AUDIENCE CHEERING)

I actually don't even know
where to start or what to say.

Like, I'm so blown away
by your fearlessness,

and your ability to put yourself
out there like that.

Well, a lot of people actually
stop themselves

from really fulfilling their lives,
because they're afraid.

And there you are, just out there,
fulfilling your passion.

It was outstanding,
I couldn't breath...

Thank you very much.
I appreciate it.

..(LAUGHS), whilst I was watching
it. It was thrilling.

Congratulations
on a fantastic audition.

Well done.

(AUDIENCE APPLAUDING)

I'm sure I'm not the first person
to ever tell you

that you are absolutely mad.

Um, but your madness
was highly entertaining.

So, well done.

Thank you for such
an entertaining audition.

Thank you.

DAVID: Yeah, and what you said
about your father was very poignant,

and the fact that, you know,
you carried on with this.

You know, honouring him
is really, really moving.

Obviously, your skills
speak for themselves.

We all loved it,
but we still have to vote.

So, this is the moment of truth.

Well, you can't be more nervous
than what you just did.

(LAUGHTER)

So, I'm going to kick this off
with a 'Yes'.

PAT: Woo!
(AUDIENCE CHEERING)

Absolutely, 'Yes' from me.

Woo!

And it's a 'Yes' from me.

Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.

Pat, you just got four yeses, mate.
We'll see you soon.

I'm very grateful, guys.
I'm very grateful. Thank you.

(AUDIENCE CHEERING)

(ENGINE STARTS)

Ha! And he was gone.

Mum, you try not to cry as well.

I'll be crying.

MAX: When I feel like dancing,
it always make me happy.

ALICE: For a young man,

who has had a lot of obstacles
to overcome,

he puts his heart
into every dance he does.

To just see it
and the way he moves.

(AUDIENCE CHEERING)

I hope they get to see
you signature dance move.

Oh, of course.

It's basically this.

Let's see it.
Oh, Jesus!

So, Max, out of all the judges,
who's your favourite?

Eh, eh, eh, David.

(LAUGHTER)

David. And why do you like David?

Nah, nah, nah.

(GROWLING)

When David does, "Eh, eh, eh".

He always does it, every time.

(LAUGHS)

(SPLUTTERING)

RICKI-LEE: What would you do
if you won $100,000?

If I had a thousand dollars,
I would take David out for dinner.

(LAUGHTER)

What charge,

I wouldn't know what to say...

to meet David.

No, but, then you know
what you should do?

You should make him pay.

(LAUGHTER)

(AUDIENCE CHEERING)

MAX: Because David is the best.

Because he's my favourite judge.

(AUDIENCE APPLAUDING)

You ready to go out there?

Yes, I am.

Good luck, have fun.
I will.

(AUDIENCE CHEERING)

Hello. Welcome
to "Australia's Got Talent".

Hi.

And what's your name?

Max.
Max?

And who is this lovely woman
standing beside you this evening?

My mum, Alice.

KATE: Aww.

(AUDIENCE (APPLAUDING)

And what are you going to be doing
for us here this evening?

A dance.

Wow.

(AUDIENCE CHEERING)

My name's Max.

Today, I'll be doing a dance
for everyone. And...

And I will kill it on stage.

When I feel like dancing,
it always makes me happy.

('DANCE WITH MY TONIGHT'
BY OLLY MURS PLAYING)

What is it about dance
that you love so much?

Oh, passion.

Passion?

It makes you feel good, right?
Yeah.

JOHN: Where are you going
to dance from?

In my body and my hand.

Yeah, that's it.

ALICE: His desire
to embrace everything

is exceptional.

And he rises to challenges,

and he doesn't let anything
phase him, which we love.

Hey, Max, are you going
to be nervous?

It's just "Australia's Got Talent",
that's it.

Just, "Australia's Got Talent".
(LAUGHS)

For a young man who has had
a lot of obstacles to overcome,

he's done it all
with extraordinary success

and a great deal of grace.

And, we're just really proud of him.

(CHEERING)

Mum, how do you feel
when you see Max dance?

Um, I'm always impressed.

I am very proud of Max.

We all are.

And he puts his heart
into every dance he does.

You can just see it
in the way he moves.

It's the expression,
the love of the music,

the love of the movement,
and love of an audience...

(AUDIENCE CHEERING)
..and being on stage.

And somebody special,
I think, this evening,

that you wanted to say something to.
Yes, I did.

My favourite judge
is always David.

AUDIENCE: Aww.
(CHEERING)

Come and give us a hug.

DAVID: Come and give us a hug.

Yes. Go on. Go!

(AUDIENCE CHEERING)

We are all rooting for you, Max.

Can't wait to see what
you're going to do.

Yes.

You're going to be great.
Thank you.

DAVID: Alright?

Nice to meet you, Alice.

OK, Max, what kind of dancing

are you going to be doing
for us this evening?

First song I'm doing

is Callum Scott,
'Dancing On My Own'.

It's emotional.

Yeah.

And when it gets emotional,
it gets everyone happy, cheerful.

And please don't...
don't cry in the middle of it.

(LAUGHTER)

OK, we'll try not to cry.
Mum, you try not to cry as well.

I'll be crying.

Of course. Of course,
you'll be crying.

Max, are you ready?

You're going to be dancing
for David, the audience,

and all of Australia,
when you're ready.

(CHEERING)

Yes, everyone, including David!

(LAUGHTER)

(AUDIENCE APPLAUDING)

('DANCING ON MY OWN'
BY CALUM SCOTT PLAYING)

# Somebody said you got a new friend

# Does she love you better
than I can?

# And yeah, I know it's stupid

# But I just gotta see it for myself

# I'm in the corner,
watching you kiss her

# Oh, oh, oh

# And I'm giving it my all

# I'm not the guy
you're taking home

# Ooh

# I keep dancing on my own

# So far away but still so near

# The lights come on,
the music dies... #

(AUDIENCE CHEERING)

# But you don't see me standing here

# I just came to say goodbye

# I'm in the corner,
watching you kiss her

# Oh!

# And I'm giving it my all

# But I'm not the guy
you're taking home

# Ooh

# I keep dancing on my own

# So far away, but still so near

# The lights come on, the music dies

# But you don't see me
standing here... #

(AUDIENCE APPLAUDING)

(AUDIENCE CHEERING)

(THUNDEROUS APPLAUSE)

RICKI-LEE: Yeah! Woo!

(THUNDEROUS APPLAUSE CONTINUES)

Oh, Max, we absolutely love you.
Thank you.

We loved that performance.

Thank you so much.

You're such a talented young man,

the love that you have for your mum,
and obviously the love...

Yes. Yes, I lover her too much.

AUDIENCE: Aww!

(AUDIENCE APPLAUDING)

And also, she's a good cook.

(LAUGHTER)

She absolutely adores you.

Thank you so much
for sharing that beautiful talent,

and performance with us
this evening.

Max, so lovely to meet you.

I had the best time
just watching you

have the time of your life.

You covered the floor superbly

which is very, very difficult to do
when you're a solo dancer.

It's a lot of pressure.

I loved it very, very much.

I was very moved by it.

Thank you.
Thank you, Max.

(CHEERING)

Max, when we all watched you dance,
we felt something.

And that's the magic
of entertainment,

you brought that into this venue.

Thank you so much, Max. I loved it.

(AUDIENCE APPLAUDING)

Well, Max you said
you were a fan of mine.

Well, I am a fan of you.

MAX: Thank you, David!

DAVID: OK? You're
an amazing entertainer,

and a real showman,

as well as being
a really talented dancer.

MAX: I am.
He knows.

I don't think anyone
will ever forget seeing you dance,

because it's going to be
imprinted on their heart

watching you dance, it really is.

(AUDIENCE APPLAUDING)

I think the only thing left
to do is vote,

and I want to be first.

Max, it's a 'Yes' from me.

(AUDIENCE APPLAUDING)

It's a big 'Yes' from me.

And another big 'Yes' from me, Max.

(AUDIENCE APPLAUDING)

We've got the audience here,

we've got the millions
of people watching and me.

So, you've got millions,
and millions, and millions of yeses!

MAX: Yeah!

(AUDIENCE CHEERING)

('RISE UP' BY ANDRA DAY PLAYING)

Thank you so much!

(AUDIENCE CHEERING)

# High like the waves

# I'll rise up

# In spite of the ache. #

Well done!
MAX: Thanks, David.

You're amazing. Are you happy?

MAX: Yes, I am.

Is this your dad?
Yes, it is.

I'm John.
Hi, nice to meet you.

You must be very proud.

I want to have a selfie with you.
OK.

(CAMERA SHUTTER CLICKS)
